If you like churros and waffles, you'll love churro waffles. They have the crispy, cinnamon-sugar goodness of churros and the fluffy texture of waffles. These sweets are great for breakfast or dessert, and they'll make any day better!

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 2 large eggs. 1 1/2 cups milk. 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. For the churro coating:. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted.

Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon together in a large bowl. Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them. Then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Make sure not to mix it too much; a few lumps are fine. Spray nonstick cooking spray or melt some butter and use it to grease the waffle iron. Put enough waffle batter into the waffle iron that is already hot to cover the waffle grid. Follow the directions on the iron's lid and cook the waffles until they are golden brown and crisp. You can make the churro coating while the waffles are cooking. Put 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a shallow dish and mix them together. Take the waffles out of the waffle iron as soon as they're done and dip them in the melted butter. Then, roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to cover them all over. You can top the warm Churro Waffles with maple syrup, whipped cream, or fresh berries, or anything else you like. Have fun with your tasty Churro Waffles!
