All-Star Green Lantern:

Runaway Jesa Cruz finds a glowing lantern and an unconscious person with pointed ears and red-pink skin on an active train track. Attempting to get the alien to safety, Jesa is too late as the locomotive barrels towards them…and is completely wrecked against a wall of solid green light. Growing up fascinated by stories of space--especially the lost crew of the USS Sentinel (Jordan, Stewart, Gardner, Ferris, and Rayner)--Jesa had always looked to the stars...they just never expected the stars to find them first.

Thaal is a Korugaran stranded on Earth after the death of his partner Abin, he befriends Jessica Cruz only to discover she’s runaway with a dark secret of her own. He gives Abin's ring to Jesa to protect herself. The Lantern used to power their rings is an incubator for an infant Oan, Aya.

Pursuing Jesa is the Cult of Blood, led by the charismatic sociopath Sebastian Sanger. He and his followers worship Atros, the Spirit of the Blood Lantern. While the Lantern has transformed others with its power--Bernie the Animal Boy, Johnny Rankorr, and The Great Red Beast Sorov--others await its blessing, Sebastian among them, and believe Jesa's sacrifice will curry its favor.

In Sebastian's employ are the Manhunters, a group of assassins hired to track Jesa. The team sent after Jesa includes The Tattooed Man, Sonar, Deathstroke The Ravager, though their mother organization is a much larger league of mercenaries and assassins.

Finally, there's Prof. Jack Crane: an former academic who inserted a “Fear-Entity” into his body via self-administered surgery. Moving independent of Sanger and the Manhunters to capture Jesa and Thaal, Crane may prove to be the most dangerous of all...

Book of Blood: Origin of Perfect Humans

The beginning of society was fraught with chaos. John Smith wandered the barren continent, looking for a place to start the new world. He was lonely, so he made a companion of wheat, blood, and fire, and called her Hella, and she was good. Her temperament was choleric and vivacious. They became a family and planted seeds which would grow into sanctuary, for them and their children.

Hella gave birth to Sondra, who was her grandmother. Sondra was phlegmatic, but even in her occasional laziness proved herself useful. Sondra called forth the life force of earth, and provided the First Feast to the Family, and it was good. But then, from the cornucopia spouted black bile, which gave form to the Fairsex Jester, who was unclothed and ashamed. The crops wilted, and he was driven away. In his wake were wars, famine, death. He corrupted the earth, tainted it, made it an unfit place for the Family to live.

Sondra was sent away for her pity on the Jester. But John of Blood was not unjust. He plucked out her eyes but in doing so gave her new sight, and gave her water to till the earth so she might not starve.

John and Hella bore a son and daughter, who became Math and Logic, and it was good. They erected a wall around their Family, to protect from the corrupted land. When Sondra returned she could not come inside, but implored the Lady of Yellow Bile and Sir Bloody John to take pity on her children. They adopted the best girl and best boy, Art and Language, and it was good.

Sondra cried herself away, forming the phlegmatic river and begetting Labor and Industry, who constructed the outer wall, to protect the phlegmatic family. Here, they worked and played and were content, and it was good.

Each year, the Jester attempts to vault the wall, in doing so tainting the phlegmatic family, making them ugly and deformed. John of Blood saw the image of himself, as Father of Humanity, become sick and enfeebled. Mother Hella did what she could to cure the children of Labor, but those who resisted the cure offered by Industry were given back to the Jester, to be cared for outside, in the hopes that the sun would re-balance their black bile.

I'm ashamed to say I've never actually watched any of Sausage's eps for empires, I'm pretty sure the only content of his I saw was Joey interacting with the Church of the Blood Sheep I think???? But bc of that, this design was so hard 😩 I went with his king skin tho cus I feel it's the most recognizable

I went almost entirely just European, specifically like the royal paintings where they have very wide shoulders. I wanted him to be very square and broad, that he looks strong and immovable.

But, when you look closer, you realize how impractical and bulky he actually is, which hints at how he's egotistical and too prideful for his own good. His only armor/weapons are iron, and everything else is gold, also leaning into that idea.

For the rest of everything, I just leaned into the lore of blood. Every animal except the Blood Sheep can 'give blood', either to the Sheep or to Sausage if he needs a regen. I fought with the idea of sausage not having blood of his own but idk, I kinda want him to just so he can offer to the Blood Sheep

BTW the Blood Sheep constantly pours blood from its soaked wool, it acts like water in the kingdom. And the dogs are a hive mind, connected by blood frfr (I think that's how all blood-related people would be in mythland? Tho maybe it'd also be smthn that requires the Blood Sheep idk)

MR GRIST: The first thing we need for a party is food, so we teamed up with the Charity Foundation to help feed every single person in the wedge for FREE for AN ENTIRE DAY.

MR GRIST: Between fruit products, protein products, and vegetable products, everyone is getting a balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

MR GRIST: Guys! Wait! We almost forgot the best part!

[everyone around Herald goes silent, the DJ booth reduces its volume, and someone passes him a microphone]

MR GRIST: Introducing, for her first ever public appearance, Princess Daphne of Yellow Bile!

[Daphne descends a sweeping stairway at the front of the crowd, flanked by two Rovers in patrol mode. She is dressed in a yellow silk gown with puffed crinoline sleeves.]

[the crowd screams and applauds thunderously. Herald begins chanting her name and others begin to take up the call]

[DAPHNE approaches the podium at the base of the stairs and waves a hand to quiet the crowd]

DAPHNE: It is my greatest honor to make my public debut amongst our wonderful community and family. We are so lucky to have one another. To be encompassed by our loving, peaceful walls. Truly, here, we want for nothing, except perhaps even more hours in the day, so that we might accomplish even more.

But enough about work, now is the time for play!

(I really like the Church of Blood as it would be interesting to see a Trigon-worshipping cult and I like Sebastian Blood (IX) since I saw Joseph Morgan playing him~)

Religion: None/Freedom of Religion (de jure), Church of Blood (de facto)

Demonym: Zandian 

Population: 250,000

Geography: Zandia is a small island located east of Sardinia, southwest of Italy, and northwest of Sicily. It is remote and mountainous, aiding the Church of Blood’s isolation. It also has a rugged coastline, making it difficult for ships to land on the island unnoticed. Due to its fertile soil, there are several farmlands. 

Government: Democratic Republic (de jure), Theocratic Monarchy Dictatorship (de facto)

Layout: Zandia’s population is mostly in the capital, Zandia City. However, there are a few in other parts of the island, such as the harbor, farms, and ranches. In the capital, there are several landmarks and a mix of low and mid-rise medieval-style buildings mixed with shops and houses. On the center of the island, there is the Church of Blood’s main headquarters. In the more remote part of Zandia, there is the Blood Mansion, or Brother Blood’s Mansion.

Landmarks:

The Church of Blood’s main headquarters: It is a large castle-like Gothic church made of black stones. It is surrounded by a gate where it is heavily guarded and has cameras around. There are more rooms below the church, such as the large subterranean chamber known as the Pool of Blood.

The Zandia Orphanage: It is a monastery-like complex with the exterior of gray bricks. At first, it looks like a normal orphanage with dormitories and basic furniture. In reality, it is a training program created by many villainous organizations. Villains kidnapped powerful children to be used as weapons and future villains. However, that is left ambiguous since the Church of Blood has ceased contact with them. Since Sebastian Blood IX took over, it now has a playroom, dining area, a library, and a garden. It recently had a functional kitchen and bathrooms. He even hired professional caretakers to ensure the children’s well-being. The children are given normal clothes and even given a basic allowance for any outdoor activities. Mother Mayhem even visited the orphanage since her son took the mantle and provided field trips to the Church of Blood. Until recently, the orphanage got the funding from the villainous organizations before Sebastian switched to his wealthy donors. 

The Scarlet Luxury Apartments: It is where criminals live since they have immunity to prevent extradition. However, there are concerns since Brother Blood had done a purge.

The Statue of Sebastian Blood I: It is a statue depicting the first Brother Blood fighting off the Crusaders while wearing the Shawl of Christ.

The Blood Mansion: It is where the Blood/Sangue family lives. Currently, Brother Blood/Sebastian Blood IX and Mother Mayhem XIII/May Bennett live there with a staff. It is far from Zandia City and isolated due to being in between mountains. 

The Sangue Market: It is a large, high medieval warehouse-like building where people can buy weapons and magical items like potions, divination tools, amulets, etc. The Church of Blood oversees the market as this is a part of their economy.
