Can you ramble about your headcanons? I like headcanons :3

these are mostly going to be ruikasa because i'll be honest. they're the ones i think about the most. if you couldn't tell...

tsukasa: -transkasa real.. -he's bisexual. makes it 2x funnier when i draw him saying he's not gay (it's true to me). -he's really strong, but he doesn't build muscle very visibly, so he looks slim/limber. not really a headcanon as of whenever the mr showtime live was, but he's stupidly flexible. -he has a mullet to Me. (i am projecting) -sharp canines... -his eyes are more red than orange. -he actually has a really good poker face. -adhd -he has a hard time falling asleep, but once he's out, he is OUT.

rui: -doesn't really confine himself with gender labels. or sexuality labels. but he'll call himself gay because it's funny. -you guys know but. chubby rui real. -i always slap that blue gradient on his hair so he's less ugly (thank you to my friend kade for drawing him like that first). -he can sleep pretty much anywhere if you let him. -paints his nails (i usually draw them black). -his hair is long enough to put in a short ponytail. -autistic -he gets along with saki very well. -he smiles when nervous.

ruikasa (together..): -rui likes to poke fun at tsukasa's quirks, but if he knows it's something he's genuinely self-conscious about, he won't say anything. -tsukasa will steal rui's clothes but then complain about his fashion choices. -they're both annoyingly clingy (tsukasa denies this). -tsukasa's the type of guy to go "hey rui we should practice kissing. for shows. in case we need to kiss for a role. not related to anything else." -tsukasa fell first, rui fell harder. -tsukasa starts to put a lot more effort into his lunches when he realizes that rui is always mooching off of him (true love).

ok here's some other, misc prsk headcanons. i don't think about the other characters As Much as these guys, but they still plague my brain.

gender/sexuality hc: -genderqueer ichika (haven't decided What so i'll leave it at that) -butch shiho -all of ln is lesbian -genderqueer or bigender haruka (i don't have a reason for this it just makes sense) -lesbian minori (pretty much canon) -all of vbs is gay -trans kohane -transmasc mafuyu -transfemme mizuki (this is pretty much canon, but some people prefer nb mizuki so i'll specify my interpretation) -bigender nene other headcanons: -shizuku is taller than tsukasa. i cannot stand the fact that she is canonically shorter than him i will not allow it. -chubby emu, honami, kohane. there might be more that i am forgetting. but that's my propaganda <3

Bot Kade was quite...pissed off when he found out his idiot partner essentially knocked him up, but he will never admit that he's salty cause deep down he wanted to be the top lol. Kade is a hissy salty carrier full of multiple big, chubby bitties that turns into a dumb spike slut the moment Heatwave gives him a prideful smile. It means his idiot mate is gonna let out his monster spike, pound and knot his fat valve, fondle his tits and feed his overly fertile forge fluid to their hungry litter

bot Kade is 100% the most likely one to get knocked up and also most likely to be upset about it. He feels weird about the fact that he has a pussy and tits now, robots shouldn't have that. But Heatwave makes sure to show him how small of a problem that really is. Heatwave finds out that the best way to shut his hissy carrier up is to pound his pregnant valve and fondle his leaky tits – no wonder he could never figure out how to get Kade shut up when he was a human, there was no way he was gonna knock him up that way.

Thankfully, Heatwave is not letting him turn back. That's his carrier now. When the babies come out, all Heatwave has to do to is fuck Kade full of transfluid again and there, he'd ensured he won't let them give him his human body back for at least one more carrying cycle <3

Funny thing is, I actually was in the process of developing a Kade x Heatwave sparkling/bitty (was near scrapping the whole idea because seemed to be getting nowhere with her but willing to try again (much as the concept here looks too much like Twitch for my liking)). She too, was a surprise.

Some info.:

- What her parents have in brawn, she makes up in speed. In other words, tiny but surprisingly/scarily speedy one.

- Eerily quiet baby.

- Autistic (also considering making her asthmatic).

- Actually prefers hanging out with Salvage and Blurr (much to her parents’ dismay).

- Appears both of her parents’ hotheadedness cancelled each other out which left them with a very docile child (to the point some thought she was selectively mute).

At first.

After she experiences adrenaline rush, she pretty much flips an 180 and becomes a thrill-seeker who relishes the moment as much as possible.

- She was also jokingly called a ‘Mini Chase’ because she takes all tasks given to her seriously (always going ‘Aye aye Sir/Ma’am’ with a salute). Main difference is she’s willing to break rules and even resort to ‘questionable’ methods to achieve the end goal. One memorable event involved around three brick walls and a two-hour long discussion on the immense repair costs.

we find ourselves in the Wild West of space, where outlaws and criminals can do whatever the hell they want while those supposedly in charge look the other way to protect their own interests

Captain Leonore “Leo” Callisto of the Siren leads a small crew doing various gigs and odd jobs for people all around the sector. yknow, smuggling shit, stealing shit, selling stolen or rare shit, etc

but after the team’s spy, Zeya (who Leo was showing favoritism to for No Particular Reason) takes off with a shitton of money after a spat with Leo, the rest of the crew, no longer trusting Leo’s judgement, decides to ditch her as well, save 2 loyal but very inexperienced members: engineer Gabriola “Gabi” Franco and the crew’s muscle Euna Li

okay so that’s the context, now let’s get to the plot

while searching for work on Space Kijiji, Leo comes upon an offer from a rich, eccentric art collector calling themself the Curator, offering a large money reward to steal a statuette from the House of Dyonas, a powerful and wealthy family on the planet Vihelda that passes along wispy purple telekinesis powers from generation to generation

the statuette is one of the two Gemini Statuettes, which are believed to depict a pair of twins in the Dyonas family from a few generations ago, but the House Head, Andlyn Dyonas, refuses to sell, so the most logical thing to do is to pay someone to steal it, as one does

strapped for cash, Leo accepts, even tho the House of Dyonas is notoriously hard to get into (she has a few tricks up her sleeve ofc, including getting one of the Dyonas House Heirs, the runaway Illiana, to help her)

BUT as she and her tiny ragtag crew embark on this quest, they quickly learn that they’re not the only ones with their eyes on this prize, and ~someone~ on a quest to sabotage them always seems to be a step ahead 👀

so Kalen did *stuff* to secure her position and forced Illiana to go on the run and hide out in what is essentially Space Las Vegas under an alias

she gets roped into the heist to help them get into the House of Dyonas, although she is very reluctant to go back there (but is very tired of washing dishes in some dingy Space Vegas bar)

Sneaking around the corner with the skills learned from a certain father figure, Blades’ s/o, Graham, and Heatwave watched Blades for their little signal to absolutely smoke him.

so books are my area of expertise honestly so I picked a few favorites to talk about a lil bit here (I’ll put it under a cut).

And feel free to ask me about more books because I’m Like That.

These are all ownvoices in at least one way. Ownvoices rep will be italicized in the list.

Highly Illogical Behavior by John Corey Whaley When you hear what this book is about, it sounds really bad. Like “Girl decides to ‘fix’ agoraphobic gay boy and her boyfriend gets ~close~ with him” is essentially what the synopsis says. It sets it up for every bad trope. And then uses none of them. It’s so good, has great portrayal of good accommodations, healthy friendship, and a bunch of Star Trek references. Representation: Sol is gay and agoraphobic

Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston Don’t look up the synopsis yourself, go right to goodreads (i’d link but you know how tumblr is with links), some of the synopses that come up automatically start with a “it’s like [story] in space” and it’s a spoiler. I’ll put the first part of it here bc it’s hard to get the words. Seventeen-year-old Ana is a scoundrel by nurture and an outlaw by nature. Found as a child drifting through space with a sentient android called D09, Ana was saved by a fearsome space captain and the grizzled crew she now calls family. But D09—one of the last remaining illegal Metals—has been glitching, and Ana will stop at nothing to find a way to fix him. Representation: Ana is written as acespec (not Super clear but it was the intent) Captain Siege is a lesbian. Telle is a lesbian. Robb is gay. Jax is gay.

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee So, there’s a lot of hype around Gentleman’s Guide and I was sort of expecting to be let down, but it more than lived up to it. Henry "Monty" Montague is going on his Tour of the continent (travel around Europe and have fun one last time, is the idea). Chaotic disaster bisexual Monty causes trouble, of course. So then on the way to dropping his sister off at finishing school before returning home early, they get attacked. Because Monty is a dumbass (it’s actually his fault). Cue rich kids travelling with no money & trying to avoid a growing number of people. Mackenzi Lee has hit the nail on the head with growth. Not only does she get that sometimes, growth does happen because of one moment of learning, she also writes it well, which is a really difficult thing to write. There’s a lot of heavy stuff in it, but none of it was thrown in for no reason, it’s actually important to the books and to the characters. Representation: Monty is bi, has PTSD, and (at the end of the first book, so spoilers) deaf on one side Percy is mixed, mlm, and (you find out part way through so if you’re picky about it it could be spoilers), epileptic. Felicity is aroace. Many other characters who aren’t white and a wlw character in the second book.

I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver After Ben comes out to their parents, things don’t exactly go well. They get kicked out, and have to go live with their sister who they haven’t seen in 10 years. They start over at a new school, only out to their sister, her husband, and their therapist (because hey, look how well coming out went last time). This book is so damn cute. And a book with a nonbinary main character! Representation: Ben is nonbinary Nathan is bisexual and black

Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire Think Narnia, but with more worlds and less religion and you've got the concept of the doorways. Children have always been disappearing - going through a door that's appeared to them. But magic worlds rarely have use for used up miracle children. So they're sent back. But they don't come back the same. The children at Elanor West's Home for Wayward Children have all tumbled once. And they all want to get back. But with Nancy's arrival, things start going wrong. Representation: Nancy is asexual Jack is pan and has OCD Kade is a trans guy Sumi is bi (Seanan McGuire is a queer cis woman)

You Asked for Perfect by Laura Silverman Ariel Stone is a perfect student: he’s a community volunteer, first chair violin, and is on track to be valedictorian. And then he fails a calc test. When he finds he can’t fix it himself, he reluctantly gets a tutor. And he may not like calc, but he might like Amir. I started recommending this book to people when I was 5 pages into it. Ariel is so explicitly Jewish that Laura Silverman put her grandmother’s matzo ball soup recipe in the back because it’s not fair to rave about it so much and not provide a recipe. He’s explicitly bisexual by page 8. Amir and Sook’s eyes are both described as “warm” and I honestly think it’s the first time I’ve seen characters of color’s eyes described as anything but “dark”. Representation: Ariel is bisexual and Jewish Amir is a gay Pakistani Muslim Sook is a chubby Korean lesbian

The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried by Shaun David Hutchinson Shaun is back with more “so... the world might be ending?” and I absolutely love it. Dino’s ex-best-friend July died suddenly 4 days ago, and his family runs the funeral home. Dino is touching up July’s makeup (he knows how she wore it and everyone was doing it wrong), and she wakes up. But she’s not exactly... alive. She’s just not-dead. And then... other people just stop dying. So they have to figure out what’s happening. How July came back - or at least how to re-kill her when nobody can die. So not only is it a super interesting book, it’s also like... Shaun goes in on topics like “gay people making gay jokes and straight people making gay jokes are different” and “a cis guy might (might) not mind if you call him a girl, but do not call a trans guy a girl” Also I recommend anything by Shaun David Hutchinson. Representation: Dino is gay Rafi is trans, mlm, and mixed (white/Pakistani) Multiple LGBTQ+ minor characters

On The Edge of Gone by Corinne Duyvis It’s an end-of-the-world type book (via comet strike). Due to strange circumstances, Denise and her mother end up not at their government assigned shelter, but on a generation ship. And Denise has just a few days to find her sister and prove that her skills are worth 3 spots on a ship with limited resources. Representation: Denise is mixed (Surinamese/white) and autistic Iris is mixed (Surinamese/white) and a bi trans woman. Els is wlw. Leyla is wlw. Samira and Nordin are Muslim Some minor characters.

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman I’m just gonna give y’all the actual synopsis this time

You probably think that Aled Last and I are going to fall in love or something. Since he is a boy and I am a girl. I just wanted to say—we don’t. Frances Janvier spends most of her time studying. Otherbound by Corinne Duyvis Otherbound is set in two worlds - Nolan’s (ours) and Amara’s (the Dunelands, where magic is real). Amara is on the run with the former princess, Cilla, whose family was overthrown by the ministers. Cilla has been cursed and is being hunted, and Amara’s particular type of healing magic is, basically, convenient for redirecting Cilla’s curse. Since they were children, Nolan has been experiencing Amara’s world through her every time he closes his eyes. He sees through her eyes, feels what she feels, smells what she smells. But he’s just a silent observer. She doesn’t even know he’s there. Until now. Representation: Nolan is Mexica and disabled Amara is not white, mute (due to mutilation), and bi Cilla is not white, fat, and a lesbian The majority of other characters are also not white.

This book made me so hungry, jesus christ. The descriptions of Confection, the way literally everything except alive things was made out of food? It sounds delicious. This book definitely had some gorgeous descriptions that really brought the entire story to life: Nancy's Underworld, Confection, the Junkyard, all of it was so vividly described it felt like I was there, I could practically smell sugar and pomegranates in the air. The characters were amazing, I loved each and every one of them and cannot wait to see even more of them in future books. I suppose the only flaw I see in this book is the fact that Cora's personality seems to mainly consist of being fat. Like I get it, she's fat and has been struggling with body issues her entire life, but as a chubby girl myself, I don't spend every minute of every day thinking about how fat I am and how everyone must think I'm so fat, and yet Cora does. Maybe I just didn't relate to her struggles as much as I was never outwardly bullied for being fat, at least not verbally, but I just felt like it was a bit much, having her mention that she was fat every other page. Still, overall a great book, it made me wish even more that Nancy and Kade could be together, and I'm really excited to be reading Where the Drowned Girls Go next, and see more of Cora.

The Image

I wanted to write something of a sequel for Ever-Changing, and I’m really bored.

"No, daddy!!" The little girl screamed, tears streaking her chubby cheeks.

"It'll be alright, Talia..." His deep voice couldn’t calm her down this time, not when the guards held a sword to her daddy's throat.

His smile was the last thing she saw before the world was skewed with the same colour of the guards' uniforms. The colour spewing from both her daddy's and uncle's throats matched the colour of the King's coat of arms.

Her screams echoed throughout the forest surrounding the guild. Her mother on her knees, holding her husband's lifeless body in her arms, her own tears dropping on a bloodied face with lifeless eyes. Her uncle holding his husband and taking his own life, not wanting to live a life without the other.

"Dad!!" Talia shouted as she sat up in bed, whipping the blankets off her. Beside her, her partner Lance still slept soundly, smacking his lips without a care in the world, sputtering, mumbling incoherent words.

Talia curled up, feeling the coolness of the morning on her back through her thin shirt. It still smelled of her father. No matter how often she washed it, it still had that summer smell. The smell of freshly cut grass on a summer's day; the smell of her father. He was so unjustly taken from her and her mother. Lance was no better, however. Lance had no parent beyond Talia's mother.

Lance groaned as he turned himself over. "Tal....?" He whispered. "You alright....?" His dark blonde hair falling on the left side of his sun kissed face. His hair matched his nutmeg-coloured skin perfectly, his subtle smirk and pointy ears, beautiful olive-coloured eyes still waking up. Lance had a thick Sarvexian accent making it difficult for her to understand. Making it difficult for everyone but the former leader, Lyna, now that she had come back since her father died.

"No..." Talia whispered, tucking her long black hair behind her pale ear. "Another nightmare of dad..."

Lance sighed as he sat up, brushing his hair back. "Did you... Want to go find your mother and talk to her....?" His light grey eyes bored into her light blue ones.

"No... She lives in a different world where my dad's alive and refuses to accept that..."

"Well... You do too..." He yawned, his back hitting the pillows.

"N-No! It's different! They're nightmares!" Her voice got loud, surely waking up several members of the guild, save the drunken dwarves.

"Your father's death turned you bitter, Tal..." Lance sighed as he got out of bed. He had his chores he needed to do to help Lady Lyna.

"And you don't miss your dads?" Talia approached a touchy subject for him. Lance lost both his parents. Uncle Kade had been killed with her father, and once they were dead, Uncle Garret killed himself to be with Uncle Kade. Talia realized what she had said. Lance and Talia both were bitter that their parents were killed. Well, Talia's dad and Lance's parents. "Lance, I-"

"No-no..." He stood, putting on his shirt that was a size or two too big for him. "It's alright... We're both bitter... It's fine... We'll get revenge for our parents..." He sent her a smile over his shoulder.

Talia wasn't sure if she felt better or worse. Standing, she decided it best to get dressed.

While Lance got dressed, he couldn't help but keep his eyes peeled on the palest girl he knew. Her father's shirt fit her so well. Blushing, Lance looked away as she raised it to get changed. Stuffing his face through the neck of his shirt, he made sure to keep his red face hidden as he all but ran to the washroom they shared.

Talia turned her head as she heard Lance run to the washroom. Throwing on the rest of her clothing, she knocked on the bathroom door. "I'm going downstairs. I... I'm going to talk to mother... I'll see you soon, Lance..." She walked out, making sure the door was closed behind her.

She walked through the dimly lit halls of this ancient building. It had seen too much death and destruction. Pictures of past members, both famous and forgotten lined the walls. At the end of the pictures, her father's signature pout made itself evident his eyes as piercing as arrows yet holding a subtle softness one had to really look for. According to her mother, Talia looked like an exact image of her father. All she could remember of her father was him smiling. Smiling...

"Smiling, even at the end..." She whispered.

Hi! I've wanted to ask this for a while so here I am!! We all know Kade and Carson look alike as toddlers even with their little differences. So my question is: how do we tell them apart as adults? I'm curious!! Like, now that we know that Kade hits the gym, maybe he's buffer than his brother?🤔Or maybe just their style! Glasses, tattooos, hairstyle! My immagination runs but I wanted to know what you think!

Ahh I love this question! Ok so Kade is definitely slightly buffer than his little brother and his body is a little leaner, and I imagine his hairstyle to be like how Jin’s was in Boy With Luv which he also keeps black! When it comes to his everyday wear, I see Kaiden dressing a lot like how Namjoon dresses (lots of sweatshirts, t-shirts, jeans, jogging pants kind of style) and he usually has on his glasses!

For Carson, the dead giveaway for telling him and Kade apart is that Carson’s chubby cheeks never fully go away lol He’s slightly shorter than his hyung and his hair would be like Jin’s from the Young Forever era! Another different between Kade and Carson is that Carson is always dying his hair a new color lol For his style, I see him dressing like Hobi and Jungkook do on their off time! He has glasses too but he rarely ever wears them, opting instead for contacts

Names 02: Esperanza

Esperanza initially started life as Princess Felicity, since I, like most of the fandom, heard our sister was named Constance and thought, "okay, so we're going with a Virtue Names Theme." (Christobel and her family follow a 'C' Theme instead.) So Princess Fee's name was set for several months, before I began interacting with more of the fandom at large and realized that, uh. There are a lot of Felicities, and it was sometimes hard to keep track. Even when she was known as Felicity, I'd always envisioned Esperanza as being Latina, though I didn't initially choose to reflecting that heritage in her name, since I’d wanted to follow the naming conditions already established by our dear Princess Constance.

But then I thought: well, what if the eldest princess was actually Constanza, but outside of Arland she went by Constance? And then I ran with with that, and the Princess Formerly Known As Felicity was renamed Esperanza, Hope for short. So this is one instance where the name meaning did influence my decision, since I could still follow the Virtue Names Theme.

The character didn't change otherwise; mechanically, she's remained the same save for a few Optimization Tweaks here and there, which is true for all of my girls, and she's always been my sweet chubby ace princess who's marrying Lisle for the tax benefits (also his sister, OTP: ESPN gets realer and stronger every day). It's just that now she has a name that's more her own, is all. Strictly speaking, Esperanza would introduce herself as Princess Hope of Arland to everyone off the bat, only to slowly request the other delegates call her by her real name as she begins to take more control over her own life, but since only Ana (and Kade, that Libertarian Asshole) uses defined nicknames, I opted to let that remain canon outside of the game mechanics.

In terms of her surname, I looked towards Spanish naming conventions, so Esperanza's full name both in Modern AU and 7KPP Canon is Esperanza Marisol Reyes del Bosque, where Reyes is her paternal last name and del Bosque is maternal. Which makes her my only MC as of yet to have a middle name, good going, Princess. Marisol and del Bosque I picked mainly because I liked the way they flowed, but Reyes was absolutely chosen because it means "King" and what better surname for the ruler of Arland? For simplicity's sake, she tends to abbreviate her name to Esperanza Reyes in Modern AU, and then in canon she goes by Hope (later Esperanza) of Arland, in order to have a broader appeal amongst the other six kingdoms, as per Arlish tradition.
