Dragon New Year has a nice bit of lore.

We finally get confirmation that Susanoo is Okuninushi's father in this continuity! Wikipedia just says "father" so that's how I'm interpreting "forefather," especially since the old bastard's other potential parents are never mentioned.

While that was already in my headcanon because I like cyberstalking the characters on Wikipedia,

it came as a surprise that Susanoo is also Amanojaku's grandfather (making Daikoku his uncle). Our family tree grows ever larger and more complex.

Depending on the action you take, Fuxi's reaction will be dramatically different. It's a great way to put the moral of the story into action.

With this power, our adorable grandchild may have a disproportionate impact on the way Loops proceed, for better or for worse.

All in all, a fantastic event with a clear, uplifting message. This game's writing just gets better as it goes on.

Seeing that Housamo is celebrating the year of the Snake, I feel like this year would be an opportunity to introduce Hourai transients Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing who are both prominent snake spirits!

(And maybe include Fahai too, since he also plays an important part in the story of the two aforementioned snake spirits...)

Sorry to bother you again, but I can explain why Azathoth’s powers were used. In this timeline, when Azathoth was desummoned from Tokyo, him and the “Avatar” went to two separate universes. The Avatar (named after the Persona 3 protagonist) went to a universe where he found someone to take him in, while Azathoth himself ended up fusing with a recently deceased soul. The powers had (unknowingly) been in use before (albeit in mundane ways, like using them to win eating contests) but never to this extent.

I have a question/critique about a Housamo crossover fanfic I’m working on…

Basically, it involves Curren (who in this universe is a pretty nice person, having been plucked to an alternate dimension before everything truly went haywire) revealing that Mononobe was a GM in front of the main protagonist and her teammates (who was also taken before everything went haywire, too) due to the fact that she’s sick of eating Mononobe’s favorite cake for his birthday.

When Mononobe miraculously appears, he’s confronted about it, and after (attempting to) lie (and failing miserably) everyone leaves him alone in disgust (due to the protagonist becoming a lot more assertive thanks to his friends.)

When a therapist comes to hear his side of the story, Mononobe lashes out at her, causing her to awaken powers she never knew she had (which just so happen to be Azathoth’s) which end up turning him into a monster.

The therapist, feeling remorseful, decides to try and fix things. She works tirelessly for months (due to being a spirit) to see if she can reverse the curse. However, one of Mononobe’s friends (Dagon, who had a crush on him,) finds his cursed friend, and ends up cursed himself, leading everyone to find out the secret.

Does this need to be worked on?

The only answer I have is instead of it being Azathoth’s power it should be Cthulhu’s. Since Cthulhu a deity nobody within MC nobody knew about until recently. And since Dagon has a connection with them specifically it might help develop your fanfic

Tragic Doll: Shinoa Tamaki

An artificial human being born in Tokyo and then sold illegally through Tokyo’s black market and human/transient trafficking. She was sold to the Rule Makers and was then modified to suit their needs. Specifically for the purpose of infiltration and exploitation. Her sacred artifact are in her limbs which can bring forth a duplicate of her opponents sacred artifacts.

“Role of Betrayer, Rule of Exploitation, engrave thy name of Shinoa Tamaki here! Become one with thy victims and mimic their suffering! Come forth, Depression’s Design!”

“Role of Betrayer” is pretty self explanatory. Regardless of her feelings she ends up betraying those around her. Her Rule is complementary to her Role. Exploitation allows her to memorize every single weakness to physically, mentally and emotionally break her victims. In order to do that she has to be willing to experience the same pain as her victims. When her artifact comes into play she has to inflict pain on herself.

Despite being the Rule Makers’ trump card she has no control over her body or at least not complete control. “Depression’s Design” is as effective on her as it is on her enemies.
