I'm feeling weak. I pushed myself too far- My body is saying "stay put" except my mind is half alert , yet half on autopilot. ...so that's how I'm doing. I'm okay-ish. I can't sleep before it's about to rain... Something to do with the pressure in the atmosphere but I'm not really sure. At least all the rain has stopped I took out the trash... When Fibro Jumps You and the ringing in ears begins. Fibromyalgia flair ups can easily induce a migraine headache. Anyone else deal with their pupil dilation getting out of hand? °it can make migrainge worse. °it can make you more susceptible to visual seizure triggers. When this happens, •turn on a night light & wait five minutes or until you can withstand the light of 4wat/7wat light bulb. •turn on bedside table lamp, low light level suggested for nighttime reading and wait a good 10 minutes or until your eyes adjust. •turn on a regular lamp and give yourself a good 20 minutes to adjust making sure that vertigo does not set in. If pain starts to get worse then go back to the step before this one. •Put on a pair of sunglasses and step outside the front/backdoor into the outside world. Don't go anywhere just stay there and give yourself a good five to ten minutes to fully adjust, again making sure a migraine doesn't jump to you. •You're ready to get on with your day and hang out with friends outside. Just remember to bring your nausea and migraine medicine with you. *I hope this helps someone other than myself. Yes, I do those tops above to continue my life~ *If the pain gets severe, call your doctor. *If you cannot leave your bed and the pain is only getting worse than usual, call ambiance because it might not be a migraine or your average fibromyalgia flare up. DISCLAIMER: I do suffer from fibromyalgia and migraines, but I am not a doctor. Talk to your own doctor and stop believing those fake 'so called cures' available online; especially with a discount. Meme, "When you've had that migraine all night long and yesterday," then it vanishes... What did you do differently? Do you even know? Guinea pigs are great emotional support pets. They usually come when they are called. They are quiet when you really need them to be. They instinctively understand when you are in pain and will try to cheer you up. They are loyal like a dog. They are independent and clean themselves like cats. They are not much larger than a football at their adult age. They go with your routine. They can call me down by purring like a cat while you pet them. They are cuddly like a bunny. They can be litter box trained. They usually give you a warning before they pee on you which means if you watch for the signs, they'll never pee on you because you put them back when they need to go pee. They like to play with toys just like a large parrot or a small curious bird. Guinea pigs are awesome. Each one has their own individual personality just like humans do. The reality of observation of people with chronic pain, is that they can usually tell when someone else is in pain or faking it. Pain can be quite obvious to spot, example: "how to fake normal/ I'm fine" 1. Lip biting. 2. Speaking less than usual. 3. Grabbing one's own arm, squeezing hand or clutching fist / Grabbing onto any part of one's own body as if restraining oneself. 4. Talking more than usual. 5. Squinting eyes, having an unusual calm look or frustrated/ wrinkling up their face. 6. Dark circles under eyes and folding hands or arms close to or near their own chest. ....by the way those examples above could also help those in pain get through the day and pretend to look perfectly normal. I did not even manage to take my migraine pain medicine and I'm already stuck on my bed. This is my normal. I'm not sick, I'm fine, tomorrow's another day as always.
