Omg??? So I have been terrified to work out because I just know that it's going to fucking hurt so bad because of my chronic pain but because of the pain I don't move around a lot and that makes it worse!!! And I've been on yt shorts and I just came across this guy who's doing like, beginner stuff for working out and when I saw it my ADHD ass was like oh my god that looks like something I'd do anyway when I have an energy burst?? And I tried it because it looked so low maintenance and I was SO SUS like NO WORKOUTS work for me I have always hated it and it hurts so bad and I want to be strong so bad like I was as a kid but I just lost it because of this pain. But this .. looks different like maybe I could do it it looks fun? And not hard? So I tried it and ???? It was fun? It was easy??? And i could ACTUALLY FEEL IT WORKING MY BODY and finally RELIEVING SOME OF THAT SHOULDER/NECK/AND BACK PAIN I CAN NEVER GET RID OF!!! it literally only took like 2/3 minutes because like hell fucking no I'm not going to be working out 10 FUCKING MINUTES no I can barely take my laundry to my bedroom. So I only did a few sets but it was so helpful I was flabbergasted . And I kept looking though his stuff...... Dude these are the easiest workouts I've ever done! I was like so ready to give up on the idea and try something else like yoga but it's like a mix of all of it! And it's SOOOO easy for me especially when I can barely hold my shoulders back on a good day and my posture needs a brace and it RELIEVES SO MUCH TENSION! I was maybe working out for like 15? Minutes? And that's like with lots of break baby I need to sit down for a second watch you do it and become comfortable with it. But still with all that in-between time and actually doing the workouts I was really getting my heart rate up and I could feel my muscles loosening up and I could feel the relief in my shoulders and neck and it was like I had a religious experience. I have never wanted to continue a work out I have never wanted to follow anyone on yt or anything that's doing that but this one is genuinely helping me and I'm ... Actually a little excited to try and do it everyday? To try and help me move around? And relieve so much of the pain I have and can't relieve without my medication right now.. And maybe even lose weight if I'm so brave? Become the strong person I was and have wanted to be? This is kind of super new for me like I'm 25 and I have really thought nothing was gonna get better for this because of my situation and it was just gonna get worse but.. this is so helpful.. I have fallen so far because of my illnesses and I have really not seen much hope for getting onto something that seems attainable and like could actually have a positive impact on my life. Something truly beginner that doesn't make me feel like I can't even do a beginner workout and give up. This is helping me so much and I'm honestly thankful for it. I actually.. think I want to try and do this more?

Thank you so so so much for the advice on how to deal with fibro!!! I really appreciate it!!! I am going to try out as much of that as I can asap. Um last question, if that's okay, should I be worried about any of the things you listed interacting badly?? Ik there can be outside stuff but just from that list?
Good question! I didn’t even think about that but I should’ve included it.
Okay so Benadryl and Kratom together could make you more tired. I’ve found one post just now that suggested it may even be fatal (I have no idea the doses of each they were taking but they had a serious drug problem, and as people take insane amounts of Kratom and Benadryl to get off other drugs I’m betting it was a lot of both. Also I can’t verify whether this post was genuine or not). I’ve personally taken benedryl and Kratom many many times and been fine, but I have a very high tolerance for Benadryl due to allergies (and now using it to numb my stomach) and I am very used to my level of Kratom. So mix at your own risk.
Don’t use arnicare or tigers balm or lidocaine patches with the TENS machine. You don’t want to numb an area and then electrocute it. Also you need the area your placing the electrodes on to be dry, tigers balm leaves a greasy gel film over the skin for a long while. Here is a site about the dos and don’t of TENS machines: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/transcutaneous-electrical-nerve-stimulation-tens/
Don’t use a heating pad on an area you have numbed. Though I suggest a cloth heating pad filled with rice or whatever and different herbs that you microwave to get warm, both that and an electric heating pad can cause burns, even if you can’t feel them right away. If you’re numb then the chances of being burned are greater. Make sure to check your skin at least every fifteen minutes and consider disuse after 10-30 min. Using the heating pad for longer (30 min) tends to help more with chronic pain.
Green tea mixed with a stimulate dose of Kratom can have adverse effects. Both stimulate you which can lead to heart palpitations, excessive sweating, restlessness, paranoia, sense of doom. You would have to drink a lot of caffeine (green tea) to have this effect with the small stimulate dose of Kratom. Make sure you know how green tea and the stimulate dose of Kratom will affect you and mix in small doses and at your own risk. Personally I have never had any adverse side effects even after several cups of green tea and then adding Kratom (helps with fatigue quite a bit actually). Just know your body and take it slow.
Don’t mix arnicare, tigers balm, and lidocaine. I’ve never done it but I know mixing topical gels can irritate the skin.
Cannabis and Kratom can interact by increasing the sedating effects and a ‘high’ feeling. I wouldn’t suggest edibles and Kratom unless you really know how it affects you and start at low doses of each. Kratom in high doses (higher than pain relief dose) can cause a high feeling. Mixing with Cannabis can be crazy. Personally I do this because my fibro is out of control. Just used it (edibles and Kratom) an hour ago to kill the flare up that happened due to the eclipse (idk why I’m guessing it has something to do with sundowning and my body being confused. How are you doing btw? Did you flare up too?) ALSO edibles can cause you to trip. Like an acid trip. I did not know this until my QPR partner experienced it first hand (he did take 200mg second time ever doing edibles, (and the first ones were weak)and fourth time ever using cannabis products, before had been flower and he was fine. So perhaps the dose played a part).
Benadryl and cannabis products can increase the drowsy effect of both products. Unless you’re one of the unlucky ones where cannabis causes paranoia, and the Benadryl does the weird thing where it stimulates you instead of puts you to sleep (rare but happens, very annoying happened to me last night and caused horrible restless legs) (btw Benadryl can cause restless legs), then the paranoia will be much worse.
Don’t exercise with a lidocaine patch on or while you’re still feeling the effects of it. You could easily injure yourself.
I don’t know if various mushrooms interact with Kratom, Benadryl, cannabis or even green tea. I bet it’s a case by case basis. Make sure to do your research before combining.
All that said this is only the advice from a dude on the internet who also deals with chronic pain. My experiences may not hold true for you. Make sure to do your research before combining or using any of the things I have suggested. I can only do my best in trying to warn you of things, but I may very well have missed something. If you want to talk more you can send another ask or say hi in my dms. Always ready to give another spoonie advice or an ear to listen.

warning: this is probably really rambly
I hate people who basically just tell you to be healthier. I literally can't just exercise and eat well and do things that aren't being online. Y'know why I'm online all the godamn time? I'm so tired I can't stand. I'm so tired I can't even sit up sometimes. I'm so tired sometimes that laying down still hurts. It's like just being dead but you're forced to still be alive. You think I have the energy to do that shit? People will act like you'll have more energy if you do these things too. Yeah, maybe slightly. Maybe I'd feel a little better if I didn't sometimes eat like trash cause I'm so tired I can't do literally anything. Maybe it'd be nice if I could do art and not just be in such excruciating pain that I avoid eating and drinking and showering. But I cannot do these things. I'm currently trying to get a wheelchair. I really need it. Yet, I've had people recommend all these different asinine things to try and convince me I don't need one. I honestly don't think I could possibly exercise unless I get a wheelchair. I have to walk everywhere. It's exhausting.

Understanding the Role of a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Introduction
Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are essential healthcare professionals trained to help people address pain and improve wellness. For anyone seeking massage therapy in Kamloops, BC, understanding the RMT meaning and role can make all the difference in finding effective, lasting relief. RMTs use evidence-informed techniques to help people not only manage pain but truly change their pain experience, transforming it into an opportunity for growth and wellness.
What Does an RMT Do?
An RMT, or Registered Massage Therapist, is a licensed healthcare provider with advanced training in the assessment and treatment of pain and physical dysfunction. In British Columbia, RMTs undergo two years of intensive education, mastering fields like anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology. This in-depth training is why massage therapy in Kamloops, BC is known for its high standards, ensuring that patients are treated with professionalism and care.
RMTs use a variety of hands-on techniques, including manual therapy, joint mobilization, hydrotherapy, and guided rehabilitative exercises. But the scope of RMT practice extends beyond hands-on treatment—massage therapy can empower patients by providing knowledge on maintaining their own health and helping them achieve improved quality of life.
Conditions Treated by RMTs
The breadth of conditions that Registered Massage Therapists can treat is significant. Here are just a few examples of conditions effectively managed with professional massage therapy:
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS): With customized approaches, RMTs help relieve tension in the wrists and forearms, restoring function and reducing pain.
Fibromyalgia: RMTs understand the unique challenges of fibromyalgia, helping alleviate body-wide pain while reducing stress and fatigue.
Headaches: Massage therapy can address tension-type headaches and migraines, often caused by muscle tension and stress.
Low Back Pain: RMTs use manual therapy to improve flexibility, reduce pain, and promote core strength to support spinal health.
Pregnancy: Prenatal massage supports physical changes, alleviating muscle and joint pain and reducing stress.
Sports-Related Injuries: Athletes of all levels benefit from sports massage therapy to enhance recovery and improve performance.
These treatments focus not only on relieving discomfort but on changing the experience of pain, making it more manageable and less disruptive to everyday life.
