It's December, the time of the year where the air is colder and smells like holly and gingerbread (if you're in the right place), the city is twinkling in Christmas cheer and small patches of ice and snow. This is also the time of month where people are doing their last minute Christmas shopping just like now.

Grelle Sutcliff, actress, icon for the LGBT community, and owner of Paint It Red the femme fetal inspired makeup brand she sells via social media and her own online shop, is standing outside a jewelry window staring at a beautiful diamond necklace on display in the most well off street in the city full of luxury stores and photo-perfect cafes and penthouse restaurants. Her green eyes roll as she sighs, "Ronnie, what do I do?" She look to the blond who holds a pretty pink bag that for sure holds something cute and fancy for his adorable red haired girlfriend and a black bag for his adorable serious boyfriend.

Ronald thinks. "Well, why wouldn't she like it? It seems on her brand. Plus they have a ruby one, so you can fit the red theme." He suggested. The man looks confused as Grelle groans loud a louder sigh and starts walking away, he follows her quickly. "This is our first Christmas together with both of us in good relationships. The first gift I give her has to be perfect! But if I give her something so flashy I might end up reminding her of her ex and I can't risk losing her." She rants, not slowing down for her friend.

As she said, this is the first relationship they have where it's rarely toxic. They met on set years ago where Grelle was auditioning for the the role of the fun and mysterious socialite Madam Red, a nickname her girlfriend gets called still to this day, in the hit show Black Butler. They became fast friends and got along well on and off set, even joking how their characters were clearly in love with each other often. During the run of Madam Red's role she was dating and even engaged to a fellow actor playing Lord Harold West Jeb in the show and Grelle was dating her co-star Sebastian Michaelis, but the two grew closer by the minute with Madam Red even moving into Grelle's apartment and helping her career as a manager of sorts. But as the show progress into the second season, Madam Red's and Jeb's relationship fiddled in a burning fire after he was caught cheating with the young influencer actress Mina. And by the beginning of season three Grelle's and Sebastian's relationship ended after Grelle's worry of how serious they are. But, recently, the girls have been growing much closer and are now a couple just like they jokingly predicted their characters years ago.

The snow crunch under red heels and leather brown shoes as the pair walk side by side. Sharp green eyes glance around at the shops in eager determination. Ronald picked up his step to try and keep up with his friend, "Well, I'm sure she'll love anything you give her! I mean you two are literally the same soul and mind." Grelle sighs in response, worry still lingering in her vocal chords, I know Ronnie, I'm just worried and stressed. How do you manage to know what to buy for your partners?" Ronald smiles sheepishly, his cheeks a happy honey glow, he speaks in a calming and smitten tone, "I just know. They don't really like gifts anyways so it's kind of easy."

Right as her friend said that, Grelle look at a shop window at a crimson red rose gown with lace and flow to it. It was a perfect mix of elegance and fun just like Red. She smiles brightly as she rushes to the window, watching in almost perfect time as the worker of the shop place a ruby and gold earring and necklace set beside the mannequin wearing the dress. She imagines her beloved at a party wearing the gown and jewelry with a joyous smile, her heart swells imagining the way her red lipstick covered lips stretching in a blissful smile.
