These Monster Pancakes are a fun treat for brunch or a special breakfast. They're full of chocolate chips and nuts, which can be added if you want. Pancake lovers will love them. To make them really satisfying, serve them with sliced bananas and maple syrup.

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup buttermilk. 1 egg. 2 tablespoons melted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional. 1/4 cup sliced bananas optional. Maple syrup for serving.

Instructions: Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Bring the egg, melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla extract together in a different bowl and mix them with a whisk. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. If you want, you can fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Put a nonstick griddle or skillet over medium-low heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray or butter. For every pancake, pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the pan. Start cooking when the top starts to bubble. Then turn it over and cook until both sides are golden brown. Do it again with the rest of the batter. Place the Monster Pancakes on a plate and top them with banana slices and maple syrup. Have fun with your tasty, fluffy pancakes!
