Five Chloe Ting challenges are passed sucsessfully! It was hard, but absolutely worth it.
I've been not into sport before at all, but wanted make my body better and improve descipline.
And I did it and not gonna stop!

She helped me became more active. And I found a workout side of YouTube. Here are so many cool people with fitness content of different difficulties!

Chloe Ting workout journey ~~

I decided on a whim today that I'm going to do Chloe Ting's 2023 weight loss workout challenge for a week and document the process on my blog. The whole program is four weeks, but I've never been good at keeping routines, so I'm giving myself a smaller goal. If I get through a week, then I'll go for another and see if I can make it to the end!
Even though it's technically a weight loss challenge, I'm not going to focus on losing weight, and while I'll be keeping track of my progress and writing about it, I am NOT going to weigh myself or focus on that at all. The truth of the matter is that I just want to exercise more and this workout challenge is a great way to do that. By the end of this, I don't care about how much I weigh--what I do care about is whether or not I'm taking care of myself, and helping myself become a stronger and more energetic person in my day to day life!
So I'm going to be writing little diary entries here every day to reflect on my exercise and take note of what I ate so I can track my progress over the next week. I'm really excited about this, I can't wait to see how it goes!

OH. MY. FUCK. I did it. I did it... I REALLY FUCKING DID IT!!!!
I completed the 2 week shred challenge! I couldn't be happier! I did it without any extra rest days and with unprecedented commitment!
Warmup: 5 minutes
HIIT: 25 minutes
I fared well but I realized I'm shit at even knee push-ups.
Ab workout: 10 minutes
I paused every 2 minutes like always but today I could do a few reps of contralaterals so yay!
Arm workout: 10 minutes
It involved the arms and back, and you know me, I died. It was pretty difficult. Especially when doing plank walks. I struggled to do all the reps but did the majority no matter how many times my muscles gave up.
Cooldown: 10 minutes
I'm gonna rest for a few days or do light stuff. Currently, both my wrists hurt and my left calf is injured. I'm sure my body needs a break too. I'll probably start another program next month or by the last week of May.

I started a new job 2 months ago and haven’t worked out at all since then so I’m gonna be doing the Chloe Ting 2 week challenge! Hopefully by the end of it I’ll feel confident enough to go the the gym and renew my subscription :)

2 week shred update
i'm on like day 13 of the 2 week challenge and i've never been more unsatisfied </3 i definitely intend to continue and maybe just do the program continuously because it WAS challenging and it does definitely make you sweat lol. but overall i'm ending at the same weight as i started @.@ and it's definitely because my family's been very pushy about making me eat every day so i am HOPING that once spring break is over and i can go back to fasting regularly i will see more results (disclaimer: this is not because of the program itself, i think it's a very good and challenging workout)

This is the beginning of my health journey. Again. I used to work out with my mom daily, and then I moved in with my fiance. I have not been able to commit to myself since I moved out here for a number of reasons and excuses.
You would think getting married would be enough, but nope. I've been lazy about committing to myself. I was lazy that I went from starving myself to eating everything in sight to feed my feelings. I gained almost 40 lbs in 2 years, and I'm not proud of it.
Now, I've said enough is enough. I have just over a month till I get married, and now is as good a time as ever to start doing things better for me.
Ideally, I would eat strict meals and exercise to the point of illness, and I don't want that mentality. I want to learn to love my body as it changes whether I'm 163 or 125.
Here's to healing.

I currently do exclusively pilates and yoga workouts from youtube. However, I've done other body weight workouts with various youtube videos and seen results in the past. 🎀 Current At Home Workout Equipment I Own
Thick Yoga Mat - since I do mainly yoga and pilates my thick yoga may (amazon brand) has served me well. Even tho I am a heavier woman at the moment, I've never had pain or any issues with this mat, and it came with a carry strap which I love! A good, thick workout mat is definitely necessary for working out at home for comfort, safety, etc. Make sure to disinfect it on occasion, especially if you sweat on it a lot!
Resistance Bands - I have about 3 or 4 at different resistance strengths, and they're incredibly useful for a variety of movements, especially lower body ones. They add some extra resistance and make the workouts a bit more challenging when you need something more advanced. I also got mine from Amazon/Walmart a while back. I prefer fabric over rubber because I like to wear workout shorts instead of workout leggings.
Pilates Ball - not a necessity, but useful with some pilates workouts and movements. I have seen sole videos using this, but am not advanced enough to try it on my own yet. Will use for sure once I'm more advanced.
3lb dumbbells - I thought these would be useful for the pilates workouts that had some upper body focus, and as someone who wants to develop a lean and toned upper body, they are perfect for low weight high rep, controlled movements. Again, not advanced enough to use as I want to master my form, but they're gonna come in handy for sure!
Foam Roller - so so good for stretching and muscle recovery on rest days. I love mine but want one that has the bump things on it to help my muscles more. I can imagine how good it'll feel on my legs during a recovery day when I begin wieght lifting again.
Massage Gun - my holy grail for the days I am sore and needing some recovery. my body feels like jelly after using this, and it's just so nice for the days my muscles feel extra tight and super sore.
🎀 Equipment I Want To Buy
Yoga Blocks - these will help me get deeper into the yoga poses once I get more advanced in my practice
Pilates Ring - this honestly looks so fun and challenging to use, I'd love to add it to my collection of useful workout equipment!
Jump Rope - I used to love this as a form of cardio and as long as I don't move into an upstairs apartment, I'm definitely buying one
Pilates Bar - still iffy on this one, it's supposed to mimic a reformer but I want to get better at mat pilates and see if I even end up ever needing or seriously wanting to buy it, its on my list tho
Ankle/Wrist weights - these are gonna be so useful for workouts where hand held dumbbells aren't useful. Want to buy some low weight ones just to help with resistance and extra strength during pilates workouts
Kettlebell weight - I think this would be useful for a workout at home type situation if and when I switch to not doing just pilates and yoga. I know these are useful in their own right, but not needed in my current fitness stage of life.
Core Sliders - these look fun and interesting. They're on my lost for sure, but not sure about the practicality of their use in my life just yet.
That's all that's currently on my at home workout equipment list! As someone who primarily works out at home, the things I currently own are most useful and most of what's on this list is for fun or extra challenge. Just not necessary yet.

Day 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warmup: 5 minutes
HIIT: 15 minutes
I pulled it off well like usual but today I drank a few sips of green tea in between each set. While doing single leg deadlifts, I found out how I hurt my left calf. Since yesterday, my left calf has been hurting and today, I felt the exact part of the muscle hurt while doing the reps. Good form is really important.
Ab workout: 10 minutes
I'm not even joking it is so draining. I had to stop every two minutes to either rest my arms or legs or core. I couldn't do contralaterals today either. Also, while doing side plank crunch, I did better on my right side than on my left.
Lower body workout: 15 minutes
I did everything without breaks and I think my lower body especially thighs and calves are the most developed out of all. The last exercise was squat pulses and for the first time, I felt my thighs burn.
I'm gonna take a nice break after tomorrow. I think my right wrist is healing a little but now I've got a calf injury.

As Chloe Price sauntered down the streets of Arcadia Bay, her rebellious spirit on full display, she couldn't help but notice a newcomer. A shy and innocent woman who seemed uncertain in this unfamiliar town. Intrigued by the contrast, Chloe couldn't resist approaching her with a mischievous grin.
"Hey, newbie. Lost in the chaos of Arcadia Bay?" Chloe called out, her blue hair catching the sunlight.
The woman startled, her eyes widening as she glanced at Chloe. "Um, y-yeah. I just moved here, actually. I'm not sure where anything is..."
Chloe's smirk softened into a warm smile. She sensed a kindred spirit in this uncertain newcomer and decided that maybe, just maybe, she could be the friend Chloe had been longing for. She walked up to her, offering a hand.
"Well, welcome to Arcadia Bay. I'm Chloe Price, your guide to all things wild and unpredictable around here. Stick with me, and I'll make sure you survive this place in style."
Curiosity and a glimmer of hope shone in the woman's eyes as she shook Chloe's hand and introduced herself. "It's... nice to meet you, Chloe. Thanks for offering to show me around."
And so, an unlikely friendship began to form between them. Chloe introduced her to the hidden gems of Arcadia Bay, from the cliffside views at the lighthouse to the mysteries lurking within Blackwell Academy. As they spent time together, their friendship deepened, their laughter filling the air as they navigated the ups and downs of this small coastal town.
But, as time passed, Chloe started to notice a flutter in her chest whenever she was around her. It was more than friendship, more than camaraderie—it was a blossoming attraction that she hadn't anticipated. The way her innocence and kind-heartedness brought out a softer side of Chloe made her realize that there was something deeper than their friendship.
