So, just a cute little detail, but Shampoo imagening herself as Ranma's bride also has her wear a butterfly hairpin as a decoration.

More speciffically a stylized pin of the "Lens of Invincibility" from her homeland.

This has 2 meanings:

1. Of course being that said pair of lenses make the wearer "invincible" in a fight, symbolizes how she views her marriage.

2. The lenses were never actually meant to be worn and used by the strong, instead having been designed by those with knowledge and skill to be used by the weak and elderly to protect themselves from attackers.

So basically in her dream wedding, she imagines her relationahip with ranma as both "invincible", but also one that is pointedly about him taking care of her for the rest of her days, even as she becomes old and weak.

It's a surprisingly sweet little detail once you realize it, and goes to show that despite everything she does in the story, Shampoo is a HUGE romantic.

I continue to love the variance Oda uses in his various ship designs. The Kuja ship even has some sort of paddle system in the back, which makes sense since Amazon Lily is in the Calm Belt

a dude my ma works with at amazon died of a stroke on the job because they force them to work in hot conditions and they refused him water. they bring in modified temperature readers so they can say "see, it's a safe temperature in here, all up to code uwu" but someone snuck in their own temp reader and it was much hotter than they claim it is.

it was ninety degrees Fahrenheit. heavy lifting for several hours at a time, no water, in 90 degree loading docks.

Why cant I find any perfumes that actually smell like roses (or really any other flower) other than Bulgarian rose perfume?

Like roses have a distinct softly sweet flower smell that is light, airy and even abit earthy but every "rose" or "flower" scented perfume I find just smells like sickly sweet candy 😭

Mahjong set differences?

hope I don't sound like I'm complaining here~~ but which set of mahjong tiles should I buy if I get any?

it seems that Chinese mahjong tiles only work for traditional Chinese mahjong, and not American or riichi mahjong...

so that means what? choose a style that I want to learn and then buy the corresponding tiles?

you'd think they would all work for the same game.... unless there are all different tiles or things of that nature in each game...

did some cursory research too, mainly on amazon, and the sets are expensive to boot~~ like $50+ for a set~~ and if you want quality, even more~~

would the Chinese tiles work for the Hong Kong style or Singapore Bloody Rules (idk what style that is, read about mahjong on a reddit thread and someone listed off variations)

want to learn the game but don't have tiles, nor do I really have friends to play the game with~~ so the tiles would be a novelty but a good thing if I actually can find people to play with~~
