I'm going to have to seriously block Ranma stuff. Cuz I know absolutely no one cares about disabled people and are going to be busy gushing about their blorbo.

Like if you don't know, hot colors, weird contrasts and chromatic aberration hurt like staring at the sun for people with sensitive eyes.

So the only way I could watch the new cartoon is in black and white, which is miserable, and also no one's gonna be posting GIFs in black and white!

I mean I guess it's not the first animation I've seen that's proud to be ableist. Into the Spider-verse has this along with weird framerates, strobing and flashing light, and so does its sequel.

I guess it's just this is the first time it's really effected me except for Splatoon 3's splattercolor screen, but that at least was patched cuz even if they don't have real QA at Nintendo, they're not monsters.

(And I know so many people were mad they nerfed the anti-autism special, so I'm aware how fucking normal ableism is in this specific subject)

I dunno it's just really heartbreaking, like maybe it's all the things and this is just the straw that broke my back but I can't stop crying.

Warning: the new anime has bad eye strain

You don't know how much of a gut punch it is to see the new Ranma animation hurt my eyes. Well, I guess it's more of an eye gouge!

Like I'm not gonna fucking watch that cartoon with the colors turned off! Why the fuck did MAPPA do this?????

Was the CEO of Mappa's dad killed by a handicapped person? Is that why they released such offensive colors? Like are they doing everything they can to hurt as many disabled people at once???????

Like holy fucking shit I'm so pissed off, like I expected par at worst and I'm given a painful insult.

Like at least the comic exists, they can't take that away from me, and the original cartoons exist, but wow man, WOW.

I almost kinda feel like crying... they fucking massacred my boy.

Why are animation studios doing this? Is this part of the normalization of fascism?! "Oh, we don't need to care about any handicapped people with fucking standards, let's harm as many people as possible because survival of the fittest" — way too many animation directors apparently.

God I actually am crying. People out there actually hate me because I exist, and far too many people don't care that they do. What is this fucking world, it's just too fucking much.

All I wanted was an anime that followed the fucking comic, literally who wanted animation that hurts to look at, I ask you, who?!?!?!?
