Time for round three of Clone wars headcanons:
-Cody definitely carries around all of Obi-wan’s favorite types of tea on the Negotiator, and definitely always keeps two tea bags on his utility belt during campaigns in case Obi-wan needs tea and lost his own. (The extra one is for him so he can drink Tea with Obi-wan at the fire)
-It’s canon that Obi-wan always loses his lightsaber and that Cody always gives him it back, but in the background Anakin and Ahsoka have definitely been keeping count how many times Cody handed Obi-wan his lightsaber and threaten to tell the entire GAR anytime they want to blackmail Obi-wan.
-Kix and Rex definitely had to beg Ahsoka to wear her season 3 - 5 outfit, maybe even chase her around the Resolute to get her to wear just something slightly more protective. They did try pushing the agenda of amrour later but they pushed their luck and Ahsoka threatened to go back to the tube top she had from the clone war movie to season 2.
-When Obi-wan’s men in the 212th are injured he personally makes sure to have Tea parties with his injured men to cheer them up and give them something to do in the med bay, making sure to remember the favorites of each solider to make them feel a special as Obi-wan always reminds them they very much are.
-Children, no matter which planet, absolutely adore clones, especially ones of the 501st who are close with Ahsoka (because the kids see that they’re absolute softies from how they interact with her), the children will follow the clones around, asking them mountains of questions and begging them to play games with them. One time on a snowy planet some children in a village the 501st was stationed at, charge Ahsoka and the torrent company with snowballs, leading to a village wide snowball fight between the troopers, Anakin and Ahsoka vs. the towns children (and even some adults). The town’s children for the rest of the time the 501st is there, take time to memorize all their names, play with them, share their hot chocolates with them, and give them little presents (bracelets, necklaces, little nicknack stuff like that) to the troopers to keep to remember them. The 501st cherishes the presents from their little friends and always make sure to keep them on them.
- Ahsoka definitely loves climbing on her brothers like trees rather it be to wrestle for fun, climb on their shoulders, and get a free piggy back ride, she does it whenever she can. After or during campaigns she gets really tired on, during hikes to rendezvous point where she’s exhausted on she simply climbs onto the nearest brother’s back on and dozes off. No one ever bothers to complain about it because a. She’s super light and b. the trooper that gets to carry her for the rest of the hike gets to feel the comfort knowing their commander is well and safe with them and trusts them enough to rely on them for safety when she’s asleep.
-Boil and Waxer have walked in on Obi-wan and Cody cuddling before and snapped a picture, and have been provided a lifetime supply of chocolate (curtsey of Obi-wan) in order to keep their mouths shut.
-Ahsoka and Fives have made it their lives mission to prank Echo, Rex, and Anakin as much as possible. Once gluing pink glitter all over Anakin’s hair, earning them refresher duty for a month.
-Ahsoka sometimes goes on hunts when they are on planets with the right kind of animals and environments, taking a batch of clones with her just in case any droids show up. The first time she did this on a mission, she murdered a large animal with her bare hands and teeth, Jesse passed out when he saw all the blood on her face and everyone was horrified. Everyone was excited to eat something other than rations for once but the clones that went with Ahsoka were horrified how she easily and bloodily she murdered a animal with just her teeth.

Prompt 275
Pokemon crossover? Indeed. Because there’s so many ghost pokemon, and many that are specifically stated to be dead children that I bet? They would absolutely adore the Dannies. In fact? They adore the entire Team Phantom.
Who are in fact on vacation, taking a summer to not have to deal with ghosts. Do they know what Fright Knight is doing back home? No, but they’re on vacation and don’t care. Look at these lil guys! Tucker, don’t steal the rotom- oh they’ve adopted you? Okay. Fair enough.
Now their world? Pokemon doesn’t exist. And by that I mean not even as a game or series or anything. So it is new and fun and like exploring the zone all over again!
They’re having fun, making friends with people and pokemon alike. Danny has discovered that pokepuffs don’t become violent if revived and many of his new friends love having snacks they can chase after. Dan absolutely delights in taking care of more than a couple of the evil organizations- and there might have been a cult form, no one asked.
They had to drag Tucker away from several bits of technology, quite literally drag him. And they had to carefully drag several pokemon away from Valerie because they adore her and her suit. Sam- erm, where did Sam and Ellie- oh there they are. Oh Ellie found a clone friend and Sam. Sam that’s a legendary.
…
That’s so cool! But like, they do have to go back home- oh, oh they’re coming with. That’s a lot of pokemon. Oh well, it’s fine. They brought souvenirs for their friends and family and plenty of plants- like Sam would let them not do so.
So now they’re home and with… okay that’s way more friends than they thought, but it’s fine! Let’s go see- oh hey Frighty, erm, what do you mean heroes arrived?? We don’t have much of an issue anymore???
Fright, teacher of theirs, where are the heroes, did you toss them out- FRIGHT-
#Prompts#DCxDP#DPxDC#DP x Marvel#DPxDCxPokemon#Pokemon Crossover#Why yes they did bring Jack a Bewear Magnemite & Appletun#Val brought her dad a tiny Aron friend#Yes Ellie has a Mewtwo#Yes Jordan has a Silvally#Yes they got Vlad a Purugly Meowth Purrloin & Crobat#They have So Many Pokemon#Yes they also got Frighty a friend for Nightmare#Yes they bullied FK into teaching all of them how to use different types of swords#I bet some blob ghosts would start mimicking the simpler pokemon too#Everyone is just kind of shrugging when it comes to the heroes’ presence lol#Yes this is good parents & everyone in Amity knows#Also yes all of Team Phantom are Halfas#Space Core Danny#Storm Core Tucker#Life Core Sam#Metal Core Val#Moon Core Ellie#Sun Core Dan#Vlad is working on his recovery good-person arc#The heroes arrived too late as in Everything is mostly taken care of now lol#Why yes Amity WAS under a heavy info block#Like an experiment going on but everyone here is?? I’m sure someone has done this already, but AU idea where Jaster Mereel is somehow alive and after years of recovery, tracks down Jango to Kamino a few years before the canon events of “Attack of the Clones.”
After a strained and emotion reunion, and introduction to Boba, Jaster is like, “Amazing. I love him. When are you going to introduce me to the rest of my bu’ade?”
Jango, blinking, confused, “The… rest?”
“Of course, the rest! I saw some of them on the way here.”
“Oh, uh, no, Buir, they’re not—”
Now, Jaster definitely knows there’s something up, no one would just commission millions of clones for no reason. But he wants to hear it from Jango first before he makes a decision. Which is the fairly obvious: “Well, I’m going to ignore the whole ‘canon fodder’ bit. We will talk about that later, though. Get you to a proper therapist. Now! It’s only midday, I’ve got a lot of ade to meet.”
So basically, Jaster strong-arms his way through Kamino by essentially adopting the clones as his grandchildren (yes, all of them, he has plenty of love).
Meeting the Alphas is a little awkward because they’re all teenagers on the cusp of adulthood and have never so much as seen a shred of genuine care and kindness from Jango, so they’re a little put off. But Jaster is willing to put in the work to gain their trust, as minimal as it might ever be.
The command class are a bit put off, but I think the first to warm up would be Wolffe and Bly because they’re more emotionally intelligent and can tell Jaster means them no harm. Cody takes the longest (besides the Alphas) to start trusting Jaster because of his strained relationship with Jango, which Jaster eventually learns about and has some words with his son.
Jaster continues through to the younger clones, as much as he can realistically meet because there are so many of them.
The tubies and littler cadets almost immediately have Jaster wrapped around their little fingers. He absolutely adores them and maybe cries a little while holding a couple of sleeping tubies.
Boba is still young enough that his viewpoint of the other clones can be changed into a more accepting attitude, but he still harbors possessiveness over Jango.
Jango himself is experiencing all sorts of emotional whiplash because he never wanted to think of the clones beyond what they were made for. But now Jaster is there as if from the dead, treating them as if they are just regular children, and it’s just a lot for Jango to process.
And idk, there’s a lot of fluff, a lot of angst, a lot of stopping the plot before the plot can happen because Jaster will be damned before he lets any of his grandkids fight in a war that isn’t theirs. Whether they were made for it or not.

In Another Time - Star Wars AU
A brief overview of my worldbuilding and relevant character notes for a setting combining parts of the Legends and Disney canon, with emphasis on the former.
I'm considering to write a few time-travel scenarios in this AU, the primary one being:
The twins end up in the middle of the Clone Wars, accidentally plucking an unlikely ally out of time along with them, but from 30 years in the opposite direction. When Jaster Mereel set foot on Korda Six that day, he'd been certain the job would be easy. What in the world is a Force Nexus, anyway?
Yeah, so, not only are Luke and Leia absolutely lost, but the one guy thrown at them has even less of a clue (though it did subsequently save his life)
Check out some of my general thoughts below 👇 (warning: it gets long)
Index
• General Info • The Force • Jedi Order — Structural Changes — Relevant Members — Affiliated Characters • Clones — Coruscant Guard — Deserters • Mandalore — New Mandalorians — Death Watch — True Mandalorians — Nite Owls — Red Blades — Journeyman Protectors — Old Mandalorians • Darksiders • Dathomir • Tusken (Ghorfa)
General Info
I grew up with the franchise and love many aspects of it, but honestly can't keep track of everything going on in there, especially the later additions. Majority is based on my understanding of the old movies, parts of TCW, Bounty Hunter, the 2003 Clone Wars mini-series (which I adore) and pieces of Legacy I've picked up over the years.
Main premise: Less than three years after Endor, Luke and Leia get sucked into the past while investigating Korda Six and accidentally save the life of none other than Mand'alor Jaster Mereel. Unfortunately, it's not his correct time either, so the three of them have to figure out their way through the Clone Wars, in a galaxy both so familiar and yet foreign.
The Force
For the sake of simplicity, I'll leave it relatively vague in its exact machinations and the way the characters interpret it depends on their individual beliefs.
Honestly, I still have no idea what the deal with the sides is, exactly. And I'm almost too afraid to ask at this point.
The way I've chosen to interpret the "dark side" is that it's inherently unnatural - a corruption. In my mind, I see it like a loophole that's easy to exploit, but comes with a certain cost. It's backwards to the way the Force/universe works and to "restore balance" would mean getting rid of this corruption. Jedi use the Force by reaching out and connecting to it, allowing it to guide them, while a Sith takes control of it, bends it to their will.
Somewhat similar to the way each handle kyber crystals - Jedi bond with their crystals, but Sith simply "bleed" them.
The biggest point for me would be that "falling" is a conscious choice you have to make and continue to make yourself.
On a side note: I don't like the idea of eye color suddenly changing to yellow/red - kind of an obvious tell, if you're trying to hide your status as a darksider. (Not to mention the whole Blue Eyes = Good Guys thing that's uhhh. Yeah.) In Palp's case, it's quite deliberately his Sith Lightning disfiguring and partially blinding him.
Jedi Order
Following the Ruusan Reformation, there was a push to train initiates from a young age* and keep familial ties minimal, as a means to prevent any Jedi from holding strong attachments or falling for Sith ideology. Although rare, some exceptions are made when necessary. Official marriages were no longer permitted, as every Jedi was expected to fully commit themselves to the Force and so could not promise commitment to a single person. They could love and have children, but it was always expected to put their love for and duty to the galaxy at large in front of any such ties.
If someone can't follow that idea, they're free to leave the Order, but will still always be welcomed as a friend. (Which was the case for Dooku, before he outed himself as Evil.)
Jedi wouldn't really place the same kind of importance romantic and familial relationships have in most cultures over others, if they really believe in their teachings. I think, to be a Jedi means understanding that your partner or mother can't be more important than, say, your neighbor or a random stranger on the street. You kind of have an equal duty to all of them. For children raised in the Order as babies, I can see them never truly grasping the concept of a traditional family and likely comparing the bond between a parent and child to that of a Padawan and Master.
For example, I like to believe Ashla and Vaash Ti are Shaak Ti's children and that it's fairly common for Jedi to add their force-sensitive offspring to the crèche. They're probably made aware of their heritage, but I can imagine it would be like learning about a distant cousin - just a little "fun fact" in their life. For the parents, they might feel some pride in seeing them do well, but other than that, they wouldn't view them any differently from the other children.
It's easy to see how this attitude could be perceived as "cold" or "un-feeling" by other people, but I'd argue it's the opposite - Jedi simply don't really draw a line in the amount of love they have for different people or even the world itself. (At least ideally, can't guarantee it works for everyone.)
*young age implies newborns to 6 years or equivalent, which I think is still a very impressionable range and could explain differences in accents and cultural nods.
Involvement with the GAR came to be, due to the clone army technically belonging to the Order. So, the two major problems were: 1. To amass such a military body is against the Ruusan Reformation and could be considered an act of war. Hence, ownership needed to be transferred to the Republic. 2. Knowing the Republic doesn't view clones as people, Jedi needed to step in and ensure they don't suffer any more than they already have to. The Jedi don't really want any of this to happen and are trying to keep a bunch of people from killing each other with their hands tied.
(not much of a change and more just me tapping a sign)
Structural notes:
Masters count as Generals in the GAR
Knights count as Commanders
Padawans count as Captains, but are usually not meant to get directly involved (if their Masters can help it)
Every eligible Jedi Guardian is assigned their own clone regiment or brigade
With few exceptions, Jedi Consulars and Sentinels are exempted, but expected to aid in the war effort
Due to the war, young Padawans often temporarily train under other Guardians - mostly if a mission threatens to interfere with their studies or well-being
Initiate Trials are (currently) taken at 13 or equivalent
Initiates don't receive true lightsabers until after becoming a Padawan - It can take anywhere from months to years for them to be ready
The pilgrimage to find their crystal(s) is undertaken with the guidance of their Master
Jedi may "outgrow" their kyber crystals due to changes in their character or life and search for new ones themselves
I want to clarify that the Order is only one of many ways Force adepts around the galaxy practice their beliefs and skills. Being a Jedi of the Order is a full-time commitment, which can be quit at any time, if one chooses to dedicate themselves to a different path - such as family or politics. You don't have to stop serving the Force in your own way, or using it, you just shouldn't misuse it.
Some character notes & changes:
Yoda
Has been living hidden on Dagobah for centuries, but occasionally returns to the temple, when the Force calls for it
Was once the Head Master of the Order in his youth, takes up the title again during the Clone Wars
He's kind of weird, cryptic, and likes to mess with people, while also being the most legendary Jedi alive, so others have to respect him
He recognizes the Republic is falling and often voices these concerns, though in a mostly unhelpful manner
May trust in the Force to handle everything a little too much
Yaddle
Shadow Master of the Order - This may be a piece of popular fanon I've absorbed at some point, but I do think it's perfect
More of a calculating, quiet observer, yet fierce and ruthless when she needs to be
Has much experience dealing with Sith artefacts and darksiders
Didn't believe the Sith were ever truly gone
Plo Koon
(chronologically) practically ancient, but only became a Jedi in the past few centuries
Had already mastered the Force, but wished to follow the Order, so an exception was made
Only member allowed to (officially*) wield Force Lightning, the technique otherwise forbidden (*unofficially: Shadows)
Thanks to his long life-span, he's studied and followed many different Force-philosophies throughout the times
Doesn't always agree with the Council, but doesn't outright deny them either
Obi-Wan
Given his history, he has some concerns regarding the decisions of the Council, yet tries to remain fairly orthodox
Him and Feemor are good Padawan-brothers and occasionally work together
His padawanship wasn't quite as rocky because of that, though it made Qui-Gon's death hit harder
Really does take on Ahsoka as his new Padawan
On Tattooine, he kept in touch with the Lars farm and Beru often sent supplies. Luke would learn much from him, but remain unaware of his powers
Ahsoka
Don't really have much I'd change for her, but will add that I think her lightsabers should be yellow
Became a Padawan a year before the Clone Wars, a few months after Anakin's knighted
Being under Obi-Wan's tutelage makes her look to Anakin as a fun (if reckless) Padawan-brother
Plo Koon and Anakin will usually act as her temporary Guardians (she gets to co-captain with Rex)
Anakin
His character is a mix of both Clone Wars series
Was knighted much earlier than intended at barely 19, on the behest of Palpatine, after facing off against Ventress a year before the Clone Wars
Let the idea of being The Chosen One get to his head in some of the worst ways possible
Enter the War and he can't simply quit the Order and leave the galaxy hanging, Padme says as much
And he totally eats bugs as field rations
Feemor
Former Knight, later Jedi Investigator
More pragmatic, grounded, and direct compared to Obi-Wan
Handled a number of Rim worlds, but focused more on the Core after taking on a "Padawan" (in secret) (if you thought he'd be an outlier in the Disaster Lineage, think again!!!)
Mostly deals with the underbelly of Coruscant and is familiar with the Guard
Affiliated:
Kilindi
Yes, THAT Kilindi Matako, because years ago I once saw art of her as a kickass Jedi and never forgot. And I love her (that said, if anyone here knows of that, please tell me where)
Was saved a year prior to the Orsis massacre by Feemor, who recognized her latent Force-sensitivity and after learning of her background, offered to train her in secret
Initially merely aiming to develop her skills, she began taking genuine interest in Jedi philosophy, the more she learned of the Force
Additionally trained by the Fallanassi, she became adept in Force Immersion and illusions
Operates independently from the Jedi Order, but often works with Feemor
Luke
He may be a Jedi, but isn't really part of the Order (acts independently)
I can't stress enough how weird this guy would be to any other Jedi
Following the fall of the empire, he went on a 3 year "pilgrimage" seeking to better understand the Force and his role as a Jedi
Spent much time learning anything about the Order and other Force-religions he could find
Found particular interest in the ancient "Way" and calls himself a "Wayseeker" (by coincidence)
Leia
Although having no desire to follow their traditions, she's a definitive ally of the Order
Luke still tries training her in the Force and with sabers
After the death of the emperor, she chose to dedicate her time helping to build up a new, better Republic
She never married Han Solo, having more of an On-and-Off relationship due to her convictions and his flighty nature
More than anything, she seeks to rid the galaxy of corruption and help those in need
Update: We've decided to make Aunt Beru Anakin's step-sibling for this setting, instead of Owen. Meaning Shmi Skywalker married Cliegg Whitesun.
Clones
-> Clones Overview -> GAR Structure Jedi & Clones
Since the series ended up being a little wishy-washy about their ages, I thought I'd clarify for this AU.
As the Kaminoans began production sometime ca. 12 years before their discovery, it would place the eldest clones around 24 (developmentally) during Geonosis. The point is that they're all insanely young when they're shipped out and I can imagine with rising demand, there's gradually more pressure to send them out as early as they can afford. In this setting, it means by the second year of war, there would be active troopers as young as 16—to put into perspective just how "shiny" some of these guys are.
Decommissionings did occur—much more so before the Jedi's arrival—but mainly within the first years of development, or if a trooper was deemed "unsalvageable" in the field. There was a lot of reprioritizing and wrestling of opinions involved, but eventually the Kaminoans could be convinced to let certain things slide if the benefits outweighed the cost. Reconditioning and termination are more of a last resort, but some "defective" clones may be kept around for study. They're making soldiers, so they don't need exact physical copies of Fett, they just have to work—any other discrepancies are more a case of pride than profit.
After Geonosis, the first few months of the war were comparably "messy" to the later organizational structure of the GAR. This adjustment period relied heavily on the trained ARC troopers to take charge and lead military operations alongside Navy officers.
Some time after the first battle of Kamino, Alpha-17 and a number of other Alpha-class ARCs were selected as instructors for the new ARC training program. Commanders—as well as standard clone troopers who had shown potential, such as Rex—received additional training for up to three months. It promoted individuality and independence through difficult battlefield scenarios, resulting in increased creativity and resourcefulness.
Coruscant Guard
There's a slight difference between the Guard and shock troopers deployed through Homeworld Security. The former is focused as a military police on Coruscant, with duties that cover matters regarding the Senate, the war effort, high-security prisons, off-world escorts, and urban control in high-risk situations. The latter, on the other hand, deploys Coruscant-trained shock troopers as security forces stationed around important facilities, patrol routes, and orbital stations—even on other Core Worlds.
They operate differently to the GAR in both structure and conduct. These clones are trained to be loyal to the Republic and follow orders without question, regardless of their moral judgement. Needless to say, giving lab-grown, highly effective super-soldiers such a degree of power and authority over the general population isn't a particularly great idea.
Since the Coruscant Guard was established a couple of months into the war, there's a mild disparity in behavior and way of thinking between the clones who were present for initial battles, and those who graduated from Homeworld training facilities. It was deemed necessary for cadets to be transferred and trained on the planet, to better prepare them for the urban setting. These facilites are overseen by Homeworld Security officers, with regular inspections by a number of selected Jedi Investigators (on the Council's insistence).
The Deserters
While the odd individual might choose to quietly drop out of the game and take their chances throughout the galaxy, the greater majority of clone deserters are secretly gathering at Clan Skirata's Kyrimorut on Mandalore. It's not only a safe haven away from the Republic, but also an opportunity to become Mandalorian proper and make a life for themselves.
A major goal of the group—with the significant help of former Cuy'val Dar Kal Skirata and Mij Gilamar—is to undo their accelerated aging and save as many brothers as they can. On top of that, they've taken to aid their fellow Mandalorians in their efforts against both the New Mandalorians and Death Watch, so that their culture and people may thrive once again.
Considering Jango recruited them, I believe most of the Cuy'val Dar were either friends and sympathizers of the True Mandalorians (Haat Mando'ade) or even follow their beliefs, but stay quiet about it.
Some of these "rogue" clones have taken the actions of the Republic and even Jedi a little more personally than others, choosing to fight against and sabotage them from the shadows.
Mandalore
The planet itself isn't as inhospitable as it's made to appear, much of it has managed to heal after the Dral'Han, though large wastelands still remain. Sparse forests cover portions of the northern hemisphere, while the south is filled with tundras and marshes. The New Mandalorians chose to remain in their domed cities within the wastes out of a mix of pride, convenience, and fear - knowing they would make easier targets attempting to build up settlements out in the open. Frequent sand- and electrical storms usually help to deter any unwanted guests. Because of that, they are relatively unaware of the exact number of survivors and re-settlers residing in the old cities or wandering as nomads.
The Civil War—also known as the Clan Wars— is still quite active and has taken its toll on both the people and their planets, scarring worlds many times over after skirmishes and raids. It has marked Mandalorian space as best avoided by the rest of the galaxy, while pirates see it as an opportunity.
New Mandalorians
Referred to as the Evaar Mando'ade, or simply Evaar'ade by other Mandalorians. Led by Duchess Satine Kryze since she was little over 20 years old around 38 BBY, after having spent a year on the run due to the ongoing hostilities. Following republic occupation, Kalevala is one of the few worlds which began heavily incorporating non-Mandalorian customs and ideals found beyond the sector, such as concepts of nobility and gendered presentation. These notions developed on a significantly larger scale, however, among the citizens of Mandalore, resonating with the more comfortable, metropolized life seen in the Republic.
Originally from Kalevala, Satine underwent diplomatic training on Coruscant and through Republic aid spearheaded the modern civil movement. Believing the change was necessary to ensure a stable future and prevent another Dral'Han, the New Mandalorians declared themselves as the face of Mandalore, despite strong opposition. They hope to gain political allies and secure their position in the galaxy using diplomacy and trade agreements, even if it means forsaking their cultural heritage.
Death Watch (Kyr'tsad)
Lit. "Death Society" - Once a splinter group of extremist criminals founded by Tor Vizsla in response to Jaster Mereel's rise as Mand'alor back in 60 BBY, Death Watch has since grown into a full-blown political faction in direct opposition to the reforms introduced by both the New and True Mandalorians. Wishing to return to their days of conquest, Death Watch pillage and murder their way through the sector and its neighbors, seeking glory and control.
Tor was succeeded by the then barely 17 Pre Vizsla, who quickly garnered respect thanks to the Darksaber handed to him by the Sith as part of a deal. The mythology surrounding the ancient weapon and his vision for Mandalore allowed him to sway a great number of clans. Over the years, his cunning and vicious nature would come to serve the group via carefully planned, underhanded tactics.
Despite claiming to represent what it really means to be Mandalorian, the majority of its members have shown to abuse the power and authority given to them, even among their own. They've gained a reputation as crafty and ruthless killers, loyal to none except their leader. Since the faction sprung from Vizsla and his sympathizers, its members came to base the right to lead on whomever possesses the mythical blade. As it can only be won in a duel, it's symbolic of their prime ideology: Only the strong survive and are worthy.
Pre's Death Watch initially used abandoned mines on Concordia as hideouts, but with growing support (and enough pressure), the larger clans would use their homes and additional resources to establish forts, eventually securing the moon for themselves. Most of the children are enlisted into the faction's Fighting Corps, raised into effective and loyal soldiers from a young age.
True Mandalorians (Haat Mando'ade)
Also simply called the Haat'ade - all of the original True Mandalorians may have been killed, but their ideology—emphasizing honor, justice, and to care for one another—is still carried by former sympathizers and allies. The actions of both New Mandalorians and Death Watch since have only shifted other clans' view on Jaster Mereel's vision into favor, even marking him as a martyr to some. His Supercommando Codex is still being passed around by a number of mercenaries, while the rest began adhering more closely to the Resol'nare.
However, beyond a handful of individual covert operations, very few are banding together and standing against the Duchess or Vizsla, instead choosing to keep a low profile or leave the sector. For many years following their fall, calling yourself a Haat Mando'ad was a surefire way to get yourself and your loved ones killed, as Death Watch made it a sport to hunt any of the remaining members and supporters.
Nite Owls (Ca'haaise)
Lit. "Night Eyes" - a group of elite soldiers originating on Kalevala, especially skilled as pilots and close-combatants. Valuing justice, loyalty, and authority above all else, they once upheld order around their home. It was seen as a noble commitment for a time, until New Mandalorian policies called for the Owls to disband. Some deferred to Kryze's authority out of respect for her clan, which once harbored many of its members within their ranks. They were hired as official security forces in the form of the Mandalorian Guard, along with members of similar groups, like the Journeyman Protectors of Concord Dawn.
The rest refused to give up their vows or traditions and left Kalevala in their ships, becoming semi-nomadic, still patrolling the borders of Mandalorian space out of a sense of duty for their people.
When Bo-Katan Kryze rose to be leader of the Nite Owls, she agreed to join Death Watch as a means to remove the New Mandalorians from power and restore their ways. Some members—led by Bo's apprentice Koska Reeves—would eventually splinter off and return to patrolling the sector, put-off by the dishonorable and often cruel actions typical of the extremist group.
A defining feature of the Nite Owls, next to their shoulder-emblem, is the distinct helmet. The narrow, angled visor and leaf-like "bladed" dents in the cheeks are meant to inspire the image of a bird and serve to set them apart from other Mandalorians, regardless of clan. Some lean even more into it, by painting wings or a stylized owl face over the brow. Their armor mostly features blue, teal, and black, with accents of white.
Red Blades (Tal'kale)
Built on the ideals of the Haat'ade, similar to the Nite Owls not loyal to Vizsla, these soldiers serve all of Mandalore and its people as protectors and emergency responders. These can include Supercommandos, or will be joined by them on missions, if their goals align. The Blades, however, generally do not expect compensation for their work.
The Red Blades were founded by a number of the clone deserters taken in by former Cuy'val Dar Kal Skirata, with other Mandalorians soon joining their cause. They aim to fight back against Death Watch and the corruption invited by the Evaar'ade, for the good of all honorable Mandalorians. Refusing to let their skills go to waste, they've chosen to help wherever they can - landing somewhere between organized vigilantes and relief workers.
Their chosen emblem depicts crossed swords, with a triangle above and a drop below. True to their name, most of their armor is painted red. Intially meant by the clones as a nod to Skirata, over time, the choice became symbolic of honoring Mandalore as a whole. Other colors used in combination mainly include: black, white, and green.
Tal'kale is somewhat of a play on words by the adopted clone commanders of Skirata.
Journeyman Protectors
The law enforcement agency fell under jurisdiction of the New Mandalorians when Concord Dawn's govenor joined the movement in response to increasing attacks by Death Watch. Some of the constables would go on to become members of the Mandalorian Guard issued by Satine - the stability and payment favored by most, while younger recruits often wish to enact law and order beyond the confines of the farm-world.
Old Mandalorians
These encompass any of the neutral, independent, or un-involved Mandalorians adhering to the Resol'nare. Most of these clans and individuals have chosen to distance themselves from the civil war, leaving the Mandalorian sector to settle somewhere else, or wander around the galaxy as bounty hunters and mercenaries.
Colors
Most, but not all Mandalorians, use colors to signify their core traits and values. From painting their armor, to the shade of their kute - the way they choose to present themselves, can say a lot about them as a group or individual.
Black - Justice
White - Vision, Forethought
Gray - Mourning a loved one
Silver (light) - Purpose
Gold (sand tones) - Vengeance
Red - Honoring a parent, mentor, or leader
Orange - A lust for life and much more
Yellow - Honor, Integrity
Green - Duty
Teal - Cunning
Blue - Reliability
Purple - Freedom
Pink - Tenacity
Brown - Valor
Darksiders
Ventress
Based on her appearance in the 2003 cartoon
She's got those glowing white eyes and buff shoulders, ok?
Ambitious, arrogant, immature but focused, and eager to prove herself with a certain dramatic flair
Appointed herself as Dooku's Apprentice (pending), with a desire to obtain and understand the power of the Sith
She follows as a student, not as a pawn, her loyalty only to her own belief
Maul
Survived getting bisected, as usual, but it was mostly thanks to his training at the Academy and the Force
It took a while for him to start walking again and by then, the thought of facing Sidious after his failure made him hesitate
Masking his presence in the dark smog of Coruscant's depths, he retrieved a nodule from the Force dragon he once killed there, so he may "disappear"
Once possessed by ideas of revenge, his focus eventually shifted as his needs did, later becoming a skilled slicer and assassin
A decade later as an ex-Sith, his greatest desire is to see his fromer Master's house of cards fold into itself and watch the old man trip and die
Would be reasonable for him to hold some grudges against everyone who's wronged him, including Obi-Wan... And yet, it would be kinda funny if Maul barely even gives a damn anymore and is just being petty, but Kenobi still has nightmares about him.
Grievous
Also based on his 2003 CW appearance - that guy was Menacing
Dangerous, unpredictable, and a force to be reckoned with, despite being as Force-sensitive as a rock
Definitely ups the horror factor and plays with his opponents before viciously striking them down
Doesn't really do the whole hacking, coughing, monologues, or verbal taunting - says exactly what he needs to in a calculated and calm demeanor
He's like a creepier, slightly more unhinged version of Vader
Has been killing Jedi since he was brought into this war
Dathomir
The Dathomiri are a hybrid-species born from the intensely force-sensitive natives of the planet and a fleet of Zabraki pirates, who once settled there. The original population strictly divided themselves into female witches and male hunters, the practice persisting even after contact. Key features include a lack of hair, glowing eyes, and a crown of horns found more prominently (though not exclusively) among males. Time also brought a significant dimorphism in color: majority of the women bear cooler skin-tones, while men tend to have more intense, warmer shades.
Majority of the witches on Dathomir are part of the Nightsisters, led by Mother Talzin. Some of the other clans remain, though they are few and far between. These witches still practice their old traditions and cultivate close bonds with rancors, which help in keeping the Nightsisters at bay.
All covens delve in illusions, visions, and echoes, but have also developed a Force technique allowing them to manipulate temperature - freeze objects solid or set them on fire. They tend to make for great healers, too; though when it comes to the Nightsisters, I'm not sure I'd trust it too much, considering they're also known to raise the dead.
The Nightbrothers aren't entirely subservient in this, it's a more complicated relationship. They live a largely nomadic life on the surface of the planet, moving with the seasons as hunters and honing their skills as warriors. The 'Sisters live in hidden, vast underground networks, to be "closer to the heart of Dathomir, the darkest shadows." While both have night vision, the 'Sisters usually have fully white, glowing eyes and can see in complete darkness, although it tends to make them sensitive to light. The 'Brothers both revere and fear the witches, typically offering tribute and sometimes trade - supplies for potions and help.
While the greater majority of Dathomiri are force-sensitive to some degree, the males usually go without proper training and their connection often fades as they grow older. Sometimes a child turns out too strong in the Force to ignore, and is taken by the Nightsisters to be trained as a "Shade" - warriors skilled in the Force, often given to outsiders as assassins and soldiers (particularly the Sith).
The full-body tattoos seen on Nightbrothers is a tradition shared by some other Zabraks, either as a rite of passage, or to denote belonging to a clan or family lineage.
Tusken (Ghorfa)
Among themselves and some groups of Jawa, they are still known as the Ghorfa, who once lived in the ruins built into canyons and caverns. Many of the humanoid settlers on Tattooine are not aware the "Sand People" of the Dune Sea are the same ones as the "Lost Architects" of their archaeological finds, or simply choose not to see it.
"Tusken Raiders" initially only referred to tribes with a similar appearance as the group that once attacked Fort Tusken, but some—particularly off-worlders—use it as a blanket term for all Ghorfa. Through the generations, an ever-increasing number of people have taken to calling the nomads of the Wastes simply "Tusken."
There are many different tribes, with various traditions and opinions, most of which keep to themselves and are simply trying to survive, keeping their culture alive. However, there are those who carry more resentment towards outsiders for driving them from their homes and killing their people. These are better known to the settlers and off-worlders, due to frequent skirmishes and raids.
Ghorfa use little, if any, metal in their tools and wear; the sand and heat would make it too much of a hazard. Of course, there's always outliers and exceptions, but majority of the hard materials they use are bones, wood, stone, and clay or glazes. They generally have a disdain for the advanced technologies of settlers, drawing back on old beliefs that such technologies caused the downfall of their civilization and killed their world. Not all share this view to the same degree, as some are seen making use of scavenged items and have even left the planet via ship.
Born of the need to protect themselves from harsh conditions, the practice of covering their entire body in robes eventually became a sacred tradition. Showing any skin outside of clan members or Healers is considered a great taboo. The design of head gear is not only essential to their survival, but also signifies their tribe and sometimes even profession. The language is a mix of spoken words and hand signs - when communicating with other sentients, they mainly rely on the latter, as their vocalization is incompatible with most other humanoid species, save for Wookiees.
I don't care what canon says, if the Force resides in all living beings, then these guys can be sensitive to it as well. Those who are, usually become known as Guides, Seers, and Healers and are regarded with the highest respect across tribes.
That's all for now.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know! I'm also not as well-versed in Mando'a, so I appreciate any pointers thrown my way 😅

Now for my dear DCMK exchange gift giver. I come with some fic recs and a couple of headcanons for our favourite certified lil guy.
A selection of personal fic recs of the platonic/familial/friendship kind (sprinkled with a bit of romance too). Please note that all these fics come back to one thing: Shinichi/Conan is involved, as he tends to be my main focus (also I'm a huge Found Family trope lover, as you might be able to tell from some of these recs). I also decided to forgo my soulmate AU recs, since it seems you likely know those! (Though, if you'd ever like more fic recs... just let me know. And I hope you'll find one or two on this list that you haven't yet read and you'll like!)
warm soup on a frigid night: Detective Boys centric, my heart melted gosh.
Once and For All: another Detective Boys centric fic, I'M SCREAMING thEY ARE SO PRECIOUS.
A Friend In Need: Kaitou KID centric, really love how organic this fic is, both from KID's and Shinichi's POV.
You Have an Hour: Sonoko's POV and an extremely funny and relatable fic.
You're okay, you're safe: oh, my beloved Sakura Trio, also from Sonoko's POV which I adore, and Sonoko's feelings in this... I feel her.
Switched: KID centric, FREAKING BODY SWAP, and so well written too, very fun read.
Guide you home: I love the Guide/Sentinel universe so much, this has romantic KaiAo, Heizuha, ShinRan, and lots of other platonic combinations, this is also a case fic and emotional.
Identity: One of my favourite scenarios, OCCHAN AND RAN BEING AWARE FROM THE BEGINNING, MY HEART-
Code Red: KOGOROU CENTRIC, let him shine!
The Cloning Secret: do you want to read something absolutely heart-wrenching, disturbing, yet absolutely brilliant? Go no further. We warned: this is a work in progress.
Misconceptions, Illusions, and Lies (and Other Forms of Fair Play): I absolutely adore this fic, the idea of Ran and KID working together, also bonus points for different POVs, also a work in progress.
Shenanigans in Beika: one of my ultimate favourite fic series, off all time, the interactions in this are just way too charming and precious and dear. Also a work in progress.
until the flowers bloom again: same author (yes, one of my favourite authors, sue me) as Shenanigans in Beika, involves the Detective Boys and ShinRan, and my heart just... gosh, this fic is so precious.
Hidden Epidemic: I love the first part the most, but this as a whole has a lot of headcanons incorporated into it that I love to bits. Lots of POV changes, and so many characters (Detective Boys, Heiji, Kazuha, KID, Ran and so on)
pet: super short, but also SUPER CUTE, absolutely in love with the idea of Ai having a cat. (one of my favourite authors for the fandom)
(the space between) where you smile and hide: one of the very few and precious Kazuha POV fics, especially her thinking about Shinichi. (also one of my favourite authors, and if you like one Hattori Heiji, I highly rec holly's other fics too)
Observations: my ultimate favourite fic involving Takagi Wataru, part of it is from his POV too, and it has so many great things about it. (VERMOUTH!!! Also Heiji and Satou working together! And most importantly: Takagi finally getting an answer to his Question.)
All Night Gang: I ADORE THIS FIC SO SO SO MUCH, THE FACT THAT KAZUHA AND RAN GET TO FINALLY KNOW. Also the adorable chatting in the first part. All the different POVs later on. And all the FEELINGS AND HEADCANONS AND THE THING THIS FIXES ABOUT CANON FOR ME. I'M so grateful for the existence of this fic.
Nothing To Lose: Detective Boys, PRECIOUS CHILDREN, they just miss their friend, this fic made me so emotional, dammit. SHINICHI YOU FCKIN IDIOT-
Family of the heart: God. This fic. THIS FIC. I LOVE PARENTAL MOURI KOGOROU WITH A PASSION.
never were and not anymore: this series? Damn. The shapeshifter concept in it is MARVELOUS AND MASTERFUL. The way it got merged into the universe, and how it changed events. Also THE RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS KILL ME in the best way.
Scion: I absolutely adore this author, and this is one of my ultimate favourite fics involving Shinichi and KID. The supernatural element is so exquisitely fitting into the universe, and how Shinichi's feelings are so complex, and the teamwork... just. Everything about this fic pulls at my heartstrings.
As for personal headcanons for Shinichi/Conan, here is a few:
Shinichi/Conan is neurodivergent as fck. I personally like to think he is on the autism spectrum, but I'm very flexible on the exact nature. One thing for sure: he is not neurotypical. At. All.
HE'S A CERTIFIED PENCIL BITER YOUR HONOUR!!! (IT'S NOT EVEN A HEADCANON AT THIS POINT- *GETS HIT*)
No one can tell me, No One, that after all these traumatic experiences this child doesn't experience panic attacks or PTSD.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE STOPPED PLAYING SOCCER, HE LOVES SOCCER!! (The kids are totally the reason he got more involved in soccer again, YOU HEAR ME-)
Shinichi keeping gloves on his person for Crime Scene Examination Purposes, At All Times.
Shinichi having his own shorthand, you cannot tell me he doesn't TAKE NOTES, he so totally WOULD. (HE HAS A NOTEBOOK ON HIM!!! AND SOMETHING TO WRITE WITH!!! OFC HE WOULD HAVE AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO TAKE NOTES!!!)
Thank you for your attention, may you have a blessed day, darling!

The Clone Wars 2x10 ‘The Deserter’ Reaction
aka the Rex Chest Episode
The way Grievous says ‘Kenobiiiii’ will never fail to make me laugh
“Any sign of Grievous?” the gesture that goes with this is just, oh Rex
Jesse? Is that Jesse?
That little smirk from Rex. He knows that Obi-Wan wants first dibs on fighting his frenemy
Cody: “Rex is a smart man.” Obi-Wan: “Indeed. Always thinking on his feet.” Rex: *immediately gets shot*
Also the little glances they exchange during this
Oof that’s gotta hurt. Sniper shot straight to the plastoid covered chest. Poor Rex lying there like a busted pretzel.
Kix, was that you?
I’m guessing the yellow clone is Crys? Why is he yellow instead of 212th gold?
Why does Obi-Wan say “We’ve picked up the scent.” straight down the barrel of the camera? What is this 4th wall break?
Hello Kix!
Jesse got the braincell today. Also Kix’s decidedly confused “Sir” to Jesse was adorable. Wookieepedia lists Jesse as a Lieutenant and with Rex down I’m assuming that means he’s in charge now.
Why are the Twi'lek’s french?
Jesse saying ma’am is sending me
Well Suu is a certified badass. Absolutely no messing with her.
REX CHEST?!
AND REX WHUMP?!!
Omg his chest and neck and that jaw and those arms and he hurts so prettily and omg I am unwell and cannot be saved help me
I’m guessing the other clone with the tattoo over his left eye is Hardcase? Hi Hardcase! Is he the one with ADHD? I love him already.
Rex flopping around like a fish out of water lmao
Oof that is a nasty bruise on his back. Also his back. And shoulders. And arms. Omg.
Kix telling Rex he outranks him lmao
Rex thighs?! Rex are you wearing nothing but your lower blacks?! That look decidedly grey but anyway. Also, where is the clone bulge? We were robbed.
“You look like my daddy.” FORESHADOWING CLAXON
The way that Kix and Hardcase looked at Rex like, “is this yours?”
There was so much in that “Mmmm” from Suu lol she is so unimpressed
Jesse being told he’s in command while holding a platter of fruit and nodding like a butler at Rex CACKLING
Rex, where are your nipples? Do clones not have nipples? What did the Kaminoans have against nipples? Did we seriously not get clone nipples? Were animated male nipples too much for Lucasfilm and Cartoon Network in the year of our lord 2010? Why are your nipples just slightly darker vague blotches Rex?
Omg Obi-Wan you completely and utterly over the top dramatic bitch (affectionate). Look at him all backlight by the moon looking all dark and mysterious as he hunts down his favourite arch nemesis.
REX ARMS
Jesus H Christ. My God. Just look at them. Holy fuck. SIR
Also this bit with the farm animal waking him up was hilarious. His wide eyed look of alarm when it was snuffling and licking his face, poor Rex.
Also, Rex Hands? They’re so big. And his fingers are so long. Oh my. Oh no. My brain has already run away with itself.
I may have paused it at the wrong moment but his forearms look hilariously weedy in comparison with the absolute bulging units that are his biceps.
I know this is supposed to be faux sinister and spooky but do all clones have such lovely beautiful long fingers?
Rex’s spidey senses activated
Cut? Sir? Daddy? Hello? Are all clones just a bulging mass of ripped muscle?
And here we have our philosophical argument for the episode
“Then our children and their children will be forced to live under an evil I can’t well imagine.” Oh no. Oh, Rex. If only you knew.
That was one awkward conversation to have at the family dinner table
Cut was at the Battle of Geonosis? Hmmm I wonder what batch that makes him and how old he is. Especially if Cody wasn’t at the Battle of Geonosis, which we found out in a previous episode.
Another awkward conversation to have while your kids and wife are just sitting there watching?
Obi-Wan, you are such an overly dramatic bitch. It is hilarious. I love it. A giant Force leap off a tank with multiple somersaults ending in a superhero pose? Really? Also, that poor clone that basically fell out of the exploded tank and was dangling off a bit of it at the end.
Did that clone just shoot an incoming missile out of the air?!
Kids playing outside by themselves? This can only go well. I didn’t realise it at the time but episode 1x2 “Cut and Run” of The Bad Batch did exactly the same thing.
Oop that’s gone well.
Well Cut clearly hasn’t lost any of his skills from being a clone
Protective Dad Mode Engaged
Also, why is Protective Dad Mode always so damn hot. Hunter does the exact same thing.
Jesse, Hardcase and Kix just absolutely dismantling droids on their speeders
“Always something.” lmao
Cut punching the commando droid and immediately regretting it
So Rex is still just as deadly even with the use of only one arm.
Poor Rex getting strangled by a commando droid after falling through the floor. Also Cut shooting the droid that was choking Rex was a decidedly badass moment. Thought it did remind me of when Cody basically did the same thing for Crosshair in episode 2x3 ‘The Solitary Clone’ of TBB.
Grievous, did you just try to use a tactical dramatic cape drop on the master of dramatic cape drops himself?
Lol Obi-Wan’s little reach for Grievous. Nooooo come back and fight meeeeee.
Obi-Wan is so pissed that he didn’t get to capture his favourite arch nemesis. He’s having a little sulk. Cody is probably so tired of this shit.
That’s growth right there. Character development time for Rex.
Naw look at Rex riding off into the sunset. Cowboy Rex anyone?

i absolutely LOVE the way you write Xisuma as a father figure 💕
could you write another one where child reader meets Evil X for the first time? a lot of people usually write it so that he's mean and that the reader doesn't like him, but what if Evil X has to babysit them and turns out he's actually soft for children? just soft Evil X content 😌
Babysitting
Character: Evil Xisuma x Reader
Type: Series Blurb (~1.7K) (pt2) pt3 here
Theme: Fluff, familiar, child reader
Summary: Dad (Xisuma) has some Admin errands to run, and with the usual babysitters busy, you get placed in the care of an eerily familiar clone.
TW: Lighthearted usage of teasing nicknames
A/N: I ADORE SOFT EVIL X! In my previous story he's mean but that's because its a nightmare, I love it when he's just a little guy. Enjoy!!
Nerves flutter in your chest as you sit idly on the couch. The cushions are as soft and plush as ever, but you cant shake the urge to squirm. Dad sits next to you, helmet on the table, and various admin screens floating around. You've asked him a couple times whats he's doing, he always excuses it as 'work'. The strange runes on the floating blocks make you all the more curious, but he wont budge. The anxiety creeps around you, and you kick your legs as something to do. You see, your usual babysitters (Stress, Doccy, and Papa K) were busy, so dad had to ask 'someone special'. Whatever that meant. The prospect of a stranger entering your house sent your tummy into butterflies. Dad has reassured you that he trusted this new babysitter, but why haven't you seen him before?
A knock makes you jump, letting out a squeak. Dad stands, patting your head as he crosses to the door. His gloves are always strange to feel, smooth metal contrasted by the leather warmed from his body heat. You prefer when he wasn't wearing his armor. But that couldn't always happen, dad couldn't breathe the Overworld air like you could. Only in your house, which he makes a special thing to be able to. The door opens, and dad offers the person outside a smile.
"Thank you for coming on such short notice." He starts, stepping back to allow the newcomer to enter.
"Don't make a big deal out of it." The stranger replies, stepping into view. The first striking thing is their armor, crimson red. Then their hair; stark white. Thirdly the way their voice sounds eerily similar to dad's- You blink in panicked realization. This man looked almost exactly like dad, and sounded almost the same. Instead of a helmet, a mask covers the lower half of his face. His eyes lock to you. Goosebumps pimple on your arms. His eyes are bright red, and narrow upon spotting you. You shrink slightly.
"Right! Uh- Evil X, this is my kid." Dad gestures appropriately, "Kiddo, this my brother, Evil X. Your uncle of sorts." Uncle? Evil? Whats this guys deal??? You stay silent, eyeing 'Evil X' warily. He eyes you right back.
"So this is the little terror, hm?" Evil X seems to brace slightly, and takes a step towards you. Terror? Dad always said you were an angel. Before you can defend yourself, he jerkily sticks out a hand. "Good to meet you." The formal greeting baffled your tiny mind. Hesitantly, you place a hand in his own. His gloves are warmer, and the metal feels scratchy. Evil X's grip is firm, but gentle in the way reminiscent of Dad. He gives your hand one good shake before releasing. You almost miss the warmth of his palm. Determined to be wary of the stranger, you slump back. His gaze softens ever so slightly. Hm, strange.
"You two seem to get along, and I can't stall any longer." Dads voice draws you from your shell. He trots back to the couch, plucks up his helmet in one hand, then leans down to press a kiss to your forehead. "See you later kiddo, don't be too hard on him." A sly grin tells you he's joking, so you let a smile grace your own lips.
"No promises." You chime back, and dad chuckles. It feels good to know you can make him laugh. Opening the front door, plopping his helmet on, and stepping out. Dad leaves you. Now alone with Evil X, the nerves settle back in.
"Sooo..." He draws the sound out, scanning the room. He still hasn't removed his mask, and it creates an odd vibe in your usually comfy space. "What do you do for fun?" lingering around the far end of the couch, he addresses you.
"I like to draw." You offer, picking at a string on the sleeve of your shirt. Most of your babysitters draw with you when you ask, so maybe?
"What sorts of things do you draw?" He continues, tilting his head and sending his wave of white hair cascading over his shoulder. it's almost mesmerizing, stark white like Etho's but double in length. Not answering him directly, you hop to your feet and pad into the kitchen. Fluffy socks muffling your steps, and causing a bit of slippage on the wooden floors. His own footfalls follow, quicker then dad's, and almost rhythmic like marching. Locating the appliance, you gesture at it. Various drawings are tacked to the fridge, the most recent being one of Bubbles and Etho on horses, because they had taken you horse back riding. It was really fun, and so of course you had to draw it. Evil X hums, tilting his head as he scan your art. Feeling rather self-conscious you watch his reaction closely. "You like drawing the Hermits?" his gaze flicks to you, genuine curiosity coating the question. You nod excitedly, they were always fun to draw! They all look so different, and were fun to hangout with. Feeling more confident you, smile at him.
"Can we draw?" Hope blooms in your chest as you ask, he blinks a few times then nods.
"Sure." With that one word, you turn to try and skitter away. Fluffy socks unable to get a grip, your feet slip out underneath you. For a terrifying moment, your body plummets to the ground. Then two arms grab under your own, and you sag into their hold. A sigh of relief passes through your lips. "You okay?" A worried voice rumbles behind you, becoming once again weightless to be placed back upon your feet.
"Yes." You reply quietly, adrenaline still fading. His arms retract, and you can feel him sigh as well.
"Good, be careful." You spin around as he speaks, nodding in response. He reaches a hand forwards, hesitating a moment to let you lean away. When you don't, he places the hand on your head and ruffles your hair like dad does. Warm blooms in your chest, and you grin at him. Evil X's eyes crinkle, as he smiles as well. "Lets get the drawing materials, yeah?"
"Yeah! It's in my toy room." You turn, and more carefully this time, dash to your playroom. Gathering sheets of paper, crayons, markers, and pencils, you drop them all onto your table. Sliding into a seat, you pat the one next to you excitedly. Evil X sits, knees almost to his chest like dad's due to the height of the chairs. One time you had Doccy sit, and he almost broke the chairs! He had to sit on the floor, which he insisted he didn't mind. Humming, you grab your crayons. Giving a page to Evil X, you prepare to draw.
Evil X being your uncle meant that he was Dad's brother, so you decided to draw them together. Adding the green grass, and red blanket, you planned out their picnic.
Finishing up the blue sky, you leaned back with a grin.
"Look!" you present the drawing to Evil X, it was your best work! Even using two different shades of green to make sure Dad's armor didn't look like grass.
"Wow!" he reacts, accepting the artwork to look at it better. "This is amazing, I love the flowers." Beaming with pride, you bounce in the chair. "How about we hang this on the fridge so your dad can see?" he suggests, and you hop to your feet.
"Can we??" You ask, hopefully. He chuckles, standing up and shaking out his legs. Knees popping with the motion.
"Of course." This time, he leads the way. Carrying your drawing as though it was made of precious gems. Vibrating in excitement, you watch impatiently as he shuffles around other drawings to make space. Finally tacking it to the fridge, he steps back and admires it.
You bounce around him, "You really like it?" He was so hard to read!
"Yeah." Warmth is evident in his voice, "I really do." Celebrating, you grab his hand. Starting a little dance and trying to pull him into it. Chuckling he lets himself be lead. Gently pulling you to slide you across the floor in a controlled circle, you burst into giggles. He twirls, and picks you up occasionally to arc you in the air. Eventually, with one last twirl, Evil X stabilizes you. "Alright alright, what now?" You hum, tilting you head. He mimics.
"Can I braid your hair?" You ask, bouncing onto your toes with a smile. He blinks back, surprised at your words. A beat goes by, and insecurity begins to set in. "If not it's okay-"
"No no- You can." He smiles back, "I just wasn't expecting that question." You keep hold of his hand, tugging him to the couch where you met. Sitting on the cushions, Evil X sits on the floor leaning against the pillow. De-tangling his long locks with your fingers gently, its as soft as you imagine. Cloudy, soft white strands flow through your fingers. He sighs, shoulders relaxing. Remembering what Stress taught you, you divide it into three chunks, and slowly begin to loop them across each other. Its hard work, but once you begin it slowly comes together.
You just finished when the door opens, making Evil X jolt.
"I'm home!" Dad calls, glancing in surprise at you two. "Oh" he sounds pleasantly shocked. Evil X stands up jerkily, braid flopping against his back.
"Good to see you." Evil X greets stiffly, and you realize he's probably embarrassed being caught like this.
"You as well." Dad removes his helmet, "I'm glad you two get along." you recognize his tone, he's happy. A smile graces his lips, and you hop up to stand on the couch.
"Welcome back!" You greet, opening your arms for a hug. Dad places his helmet down, and embraces you. Armor cool to the touch but so familiarly him.
"Thanks Kiddo" he presses a kiss to your nose, causing you to scrunch it.
"So I'll uh- head back." Evil X interrupts, awkwardly lingering by the door much like when he first entered.
"Wait!" you leap off the couch, and slide to him, throwing open your arms for a hug. Only a beat passes before he opens his arms as well and lets you hug him. He's warm, and squeezes you pleasantly before releasing. "I want you to babysit more!" You demand, Evil X glances at Dad. Then looks back at you fondly, ruffling your hair.
"Sure Kiddo, see you soon."

I need more of the Steven Universe AU purely to see what everyone's fusions would be like. The triplet's fusion would be so freaking awesome, any of the sibling trio fusions would be a terrifying powerhouse, I want the sibling fusions, I need to know what the fusion of Luisa and Mirabel would be like, the fusion of Mirabel and Antonio would be so adorable, and I want to find out which Isabela fusion would be the most chaotic/destructive/unhinged, heck, give us the fusions of Alma with each of her kids and grandkids, it would be a great opportunity for visual representation of how her pressure and expectations negatively impact each of them. I bet it would take people a solid minute to realize Julieta and Mirabel had fused, Mirabel is so much her mama's clone you don't notice the difference unless you're paying close attention or know them really well. Please, PLEASE give us more, I even have ideas for the rest of the Madrigals gem types. Pedro would be another Diamond, if Alma's a Diamond then it would make the most sense if Pedro was one too, he's likely been shattered. Pyrope definitely fits Dolores and Camilo is absolutely an Orange Spinel, Antonio should be Tiger's Eye. I think Lapis Lazuli is best suited for Isabela, beautiful and upper class yet extremely powerful, and Mirabel could be a defective Bismuth that doesn't have the muscle of a normal Bismuth and can't build to save her life, expressing the natural creativity of her gem type through unconventional means and making up for her lack of brawn with brain
I’m so glad you’re enjoying this AU!
Firstly, I should say that not everyone fuses. I have to vaguely follow SU’s plot, but…
The triplets (or, well, mainly Pepa and Bruno) did secretly fuse when they were first made. They frequently caused chaos and got intro trouble, partially why it then became so taboo. It was already viewed as bad, but knowing what damage could be caused to the perfect empire… it became a lot more of a serious offence.
Some of the siblings/cousins haven’t fused together, so I’d need to know who you wanted to know about specifically.
And none of the parents have fused with the children.
Luisa and Mirabel are oddly enough quite like Sardonyx as a fusion. Luisa shares a lot of traits with both Garnet and Pearl, and then combined with Mirabel, I’d be lying if they weren’t oddly close to Sardonyx. In saying that, they could also be Garnet herself - a lot of Luisa and Mirabel’s interactions are akin to Ruby and Sapphire respectively. However, they are also very anxious together, so take that as you will for their fusion.
About the Madrigals’ gems, here is the updated list:
Antonio - Tiger’s Eye (I absolutely love this idea! It fits so well)
Isabela - no idea
Dolores - Rutile
Luisa - Amethyst
Camilo - Yellow Spinel
Mirabel - Sapphire
Julieta - Blue Diamond
Pepa - Orange Diamond
Bruno - Green Diamond
Alma - Pink Diamond
Pedro - Botswana Agate
I’ll happily give information for whatever people ask for!

Just started watching Orphan Black for the first time, after only really knowing anything about it through Tatiana Maslany and Kristian Bruun's appearances on Comedy Bang Bang, I'm on episode 5 and my thoughts so far are that I adore Felix (keep dressing surburban Toronto children in drag, please), I hope Sarah and Paul fall into absolutely fucked up love and con everyone trying to hurt the clones together, Alison is my number 1 queen bitch, I really want Delphine to be sincerely just crushing on Cosima, and I need Donnie to start being a better husband who recognizes all he really wants is to submit to his hot controlling wife.

I believe that if the Amidala-Skywalker’s lived happily ever after…
Part III by Padmé.2008 😊
11. Luke would be a very sleepy baby. Meanwhile, baby Leia would not necessarily dislike sleeping, but she would love to keep her curious eyes open so she could examine anything and everything around her.
12. Contrary to popular belief (I mean the fandom pretty much already declares this canon), it seemed like Leia was more like Anakin, and Luke beared more resemblance to Padmé. Strictly speaking personality-wise. If we were talking about appearance, then obviously Anakin and Luke are paired up, and Leia is near a spitting image of Padmé. However, Leia’s fiery spirit and rebellious nature speak “Anakin’s daughter here,” while Luke’s forgiving, wise and optimistic temperament echoes Padmé’s nature. Leia’s stubbornness and witty remarks also mirror Anakin, whereas Luke’s tendencies to hold onto hope and be resilient (in the face of defeat and scary odds) are so similar to Padmé’s approach to life.
13. The twins would absolutely adore bedtime stories about the Clone Wars. Their little hearts would warm at stories about Jar Jar. Leia and Luke would cheer in excitement and delight when hearing tales about Ahsoka and the 501st and all their victories. The two would tremble in fear during the stories about the Nightsisters of Dathomir. Luke and Leia would grumble and make sounds of disgust when Anakin would share stories about Padmé while he would flirt and cuddle with her, and vice versa when Padmé shared stories about Anakin while she acted all lovey-dovey with him. Though, secretly, even though the twins would hate to admit it, they would find their parents’ pure affection for one another adorable.
14. Luke and Leia would LOVE to eat mashed meiloorun fruit as babies and toddlers. In fact, they loved the fruit so much, that, during their family trips to Lothal when they were older, Leia and Luke would always attempt to steal some meilooruns, using the force to their advantage. However, Padmé and Anakin knew what to expect after the first stealing attempt, so they brought C-3PO along on their future trips. The stealing episodes never went done well, especially not when C-3PO tagged along on the trips and was on babysitting duty. Luke and Leia would always cop an earful from Threepio. Always.
15. On Anakin and Padmé’s wedding anniversary they would always head to Naboo’s Varykino Villa- without their children, of course. There, like all those years ago (in AOTC), they would have a picnic and frolic around in the meadows. They would also cuddle and chat near the fireplace- though their conversations would be much happier than what it was when they first sat near the fireplace together (in AOTC). The two would always nostalgically enjoy dinner while Anakin floated fruit around. Additionally, Padmé and Anakin would make it a new tradition to go swimming in the nearby lake every anniversary.

Hi I am so sorry I put an ask in a few moments ago for a bad batch ship but I thought of more things to add 😅 so if you don’t mind I’ll start again.
Could I please get a sfw/nsfw if you’re comfortable with that.
I’m in my mid 20s afab, she/her pronouns. I’m an infp a Scorpio, I sit comfortably as an ambivert and I have adhd. I’m 5’7” and am petite with a pear shape body and hearty hips.
I was raised by a kick ass single mother, my passions are music, reading, starwars, theology and mythology.
I am a dreamer who is constantly looking for magic and the impossible. I am empathetic and caring, outgoing, conscientious and compassionate.
In my teen years I was planning on studying to be a doctor like the rest of my family but decided against it when I couldn’t stomach losing patients.
I’m an administrator with a experienced background in medical administration but I have since left the medical profession instead focusing on broad administrative roles.
I my past I have experience with martial arts (ninjitsu and aikido) with focus on Bo staff as well as hand to hand combat and defence, figure skating and reiki.
My family and my friends are my life. I would do anything to protect them. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. I cannot wait to have children of my own.
I believe that everything in life happens for a reason, both the good and the bad. Everything that we experience shapes us, teaches us and makes us who we are. I wouldn’t change even the worst things I’ve experienced because it makes me who I am. And I’m happy with the person I’ve grown (and am continuing to grow) to be.
If I were in the Star Wars universe I would adore being a powerful force user who only discovered her abilities later into her 20s (who wouldn’t 😂)
I am a romantic person at heart. Although I try to act tough and independent, I’m soft and delicate. I’ve been wronged in love too many times so I have a shield up to protect me. My love language are mainly physical touch and words of affirmation but I enjoy a even amount of all of them. My partner left me at the beginning of the year so I’m learning to be my own person again, heal my heart and start again.
I think I’ve gotten everything this time 😂 thank you so much for your time !
Of course!!
I ship you with...
Echo!
Echo loves every single thing about you, but if he absolutely had to choose, it would be your heart. He sees how much you care about the people around you and how protective you are of your loved ones. Since you started dating (and even before), you grew to be very protective of his family, too, in a way that none of them had really experienced from a non-clone before. Plus, seeing the way you and Omega bonded made his heart melt.
Echo has been through so much pain and suffering, whether that be during or after the war, and he's grown a bit jaded. However, with you, he started seeing the good in the galaxy again. He admires your outlook on life and your desire to learn from your mistakes and become a better person, and he finds it very inspiring. He also finds it fascinating when you talk about theology, especially when it has tangible applications. Echo was never religious, and it wasn't something he was exposed to when he was younger, so to hear you talk about it is something that means a lot to him. He loves having those types of conversations with you.
Learning different types of martial arts was an integral part of Echo's ARC training, so he's a very skilled martial artist- easily the best of the batch. He loves sparring with you and teaching you some of what he learned, as well as learning new techniques from you. It's a good way to keep in shape and he gets to spend more time with you- it's a win-win! Sometimes, Hunter will join in as he has some martial skills as well, but it usually ends with Echo whooping his ass solely for the purpose of showing off (respectfully, of course).
Due to his prostheses, Echo is a bit nervous about engaging in physical affection with you at first, but eventually, after lots of patience and slowly building up to it, he ends up loving it. Some afternoons, the batch will walk in and see you and him cuddling on the couch, fast asleep, not a care in the world. When you sleep at night, you typically end up spooning, but who ends up in which position tends to vary. Either way, as long as you're together, Echo feels safe and secure, both physically and emotionally; you are his safe place.
-
Thanks for reading! If you want a ship request like this, drop it in my ask box, and don't forget to reblog <3

Arco27 kids!!!!
Reborn deserves nothing but the terror of a baby girl with all his manipulative and sadistic tendencies with Tsuna’s softer features
His baby girl would also kick anyone, including him, for intruding on her mama time
Fon also gives girl dad energy in the complete opposite direction
He has a baby’s girl who loves both him and Tsuna who gets treated like a princess (the two agree Tsuna is the best and needs to be protected at all cost)
Mammon and Tsuna’s kid notoriously dislikes anyone that isn’t their parents and uses mist flames to switch genders every other hour
Skull and Tsuna absolutely deserve twins together who are total rascal and daredevils
I don’t know about the rest of them
DID YOU READ MY MIND REBORN BEING BULLIED BY HUS DAUGHTER WAS ABSOLUTELY THERE
Okay but the kids
Reborn - girl, messy brown hair and black eyes, she has the curls like reborn but braids her hair back so they can’t be seen, an absolute terror of a child and Tsuna’s little princess, has bitten Reborn so hard her teeth marks are forever a part of his hand and will do so again, a lot of playful glaring between her and Reborn over Tsuna’s affection, once broke another kids nose because they said Reborn wasnt the greatest hitman and absolute refuses to admit that’s the reason
Skull - TWINS TWINS TWINS a boy and a girl. The boy has brown hair and purple eyes while the girl has purple hair and brown eyes. everyone else claims they’re demon children but Tsuna and Skull think they’re the absolute sweetest if a little excitable. At least one of them is always in a cast or a sling through most of their childhood because they keep daring each other to do another stunt. Absolute pranksters. Very much a “colorful bandage and tiny leather jackets” vibe for them
Fon - the sweetest girl with messy black hair and big dark eyes. She tries to keep her hair in a braid like Fon’s but it falls out in like an hour unable to be tamed. Very sweet and gentle for the most part but can punch straight through concrete before she’s five. Pretty floral dresses with her knuckles wrapped like a boxer energy. She will fight for Tsuna given any reason and she will win looking adorable dammit.
Viper - mischief child. Gender is an illusion and they’re the master. Never looks the same way twice. Was born with brown hair and eyes. Will swindle anyone for money. Once charged Iemitsu three figures for a hug. Uninterested in anyone that’s not Viper or Tsuna. Prank master. Has beef with Muruko in particular and likes to make his life harder. No one but the two of them knows what the beef is.
Verde - NERD. SON. Brown hair and eyes. The thickest glasses you have ever seen. Constantly carrying around a book the size of his torso. Absolutely brutal and accurate insults basically as soon as he can talk. “Would you rather fight a duck sized horse or a hundred horse sized ducks… fascinating *scribbles answer down*” might be planning world domination. Might be writing fanfiction. No one knows.
Colonnello - a son that is his absolute clone. Blond haired blue eyed terror. Nerf gun child (threat). LOUD by god is he loud. The extrovert child. Makes friends with everyone but adores Reborn much to his father’s despair. Has broken every window in the manor twice. Will do so again.
Lal - Little boy. Blue hair brown eyes. Deceptively calm but with the worst temper the world has ever seen. Will bite. The most protective over Tsuna Lal can and will take care of herself. Pretends to be all tough. Will do anything for a hug from Tsuna

Alright, I am in love with Wrecker having kids of his own. 🥺 he'd be such a sweet dad and I can't wait to see the rest of the batch as fathers! I was wondering though, would you ever do this for the 501st or any other clones? Cause I'd be here for it for sure 🥺💕💖 Especially if you did Hardcase becoming a dad, that goof ball would be adorable ahhh! Anyways, I can't wait to read the rest of the batch!! 😭💖💕💞💖💕💞
A/N: Oh my goodness yes, time for some Hardcase representation! I think there'd be a lot of similarities between Wrecker's and Hardcase's parenting styles. Thank you for your continued support of my writing and blog! 💙

Having A Child With Hardcase Would Include
Description: Hardcase x Fem!Reader. As with my other clone headcanons/preferences, it's a Y/N insert story with the number of children I envision reader and Hardcase having.
Rating: General audiences (with a spicy reference if you squint), AU fluffiness where Umbara turns out different and this sweetheart gets the life he deserves 😌| Gif credit: user rexsjaigeyes
There is never a dull moment with Hardcase
If you thought parenthood was going to slow him down in any way, no you didn't
Becoming a father only amplified his playful, witty personality, something you didn't think was scientifically possible
When you told him you were pregnant, he all but bounced off the walls
Hardcase was "so kriffin' excited" to become a dad
He said exactly that to every person that crossed his path for weeks on end, especially his brothers
"How did I get so lucky? I can't believe it."
("Me either. Y/N actually thinks the galaxy can survive a smaller, louder version of you" - Fives, probably)
You were admittedly a bit nervous about becoming a parent, but as always, Hardcase had no fear
He tackled the learning curve head on, and it brought you so much joy and confidence to see his paternal instincts kick in as you both prepared for the arrival of your little one
Suddenly, he was aware of every hazard he'd never paid attention to himself, and in just a few hours, he completely baby-proofed every inch of your apartment
He even kept track of the days in your pregnancy, counting down to your expected due date
He loves (to attempt) cooking for you
Is he great at it? No. Did he burn everything at first and almost set your kitchen on fire three times? Definitely. Did he get better with practice and learn to make your favorite foods just the way you like them? Absolutely
Lots of cuddles watching holos together
Whenever he had to leave for the day, he would always kiss you first and then your growing belly
"Can't leave without telling our baby goodbye."
You adore how much he says that - our baby - and how much he's already devoted to being a dad
On your difficult pregnancy days, he would always be by your side to talk to you and tell you jokes until you were smiling again
Love At First Sight
From the moment your daughter was born, he was wrapped around her little finger
"She's so beautiful. Look what we made. No growth chamber or anything."
You jokingly reminded him that that was technically your role
"Oh...right. Of course. Great job! Not a single crack in the jar. Better than Kamino!"
In the weeks after your daughter was born, it was a battle to get Hardcase to put her down, literally
"Where I go, she goes."
Many naptimes were spent on her daddy's chest because he simply didn't want to let her out of his sight
(Sorry to report that diapers are you division, though. You just can't put your poor darlings through that again...)
Seeing him dote on your little girl so much only made you fall in love with him more; you were proud to call him the father of your children
Oh yes, children. You weren't done adding to the ranks of your little battalion, and neither was your cyare
A year and a half later, you gave birth to not one, but two sons
More than a few tears were shed as Hardcase held the twins in his arms
You better believe he was telling everyone about it too, calling many of his brothers to share the news before you even left the hospital
("We're doomed" - Fives again, probably)
How do you do, fellow kids?
Hardcase is a child himself at heart, which means he is your children's first and favorite best friend
Whatever they're interested in, you can bet he's into it too
He watches more children's holos with them than you do, and you're the one who stays home
Seriously, he knows all the words to the theme songs, the lore for each show, and the powers and skills of every character - it's a big thing that he and the kids bond over
Boredom is not a word in your house
Whatever your children ask for, Hardcase ensures they get (within reason)
He's likely getting something for himself too, especially if it's sweets
They want to build model starships? He's first in line at the market in the morning to get the kits
Your daughter wants to play dolls? You better believe her daddy is on that floor doing the right voices and following the story lines (and maybe causing the occasional pretend explosion or starship crash because he lives for the Drama™)
They all want to turn the livingroom into a battlefield to fight imaginary droids? Guess who their commander is
"Why not promote myself? I earned it!"- Hardcase when you teasingly pointed out his new rank
You enjoy getting in on the fun too and being the Zillo Beast attacking the barracks or the queen taken hostage that the dashing commander and his squad have to rescue from a den of bounty hunters
I cannot stress this enough: ANTICS
Pillow fights and roughhousing? HE probably started it
He's taking the fall for it too, because he'd rather face a firing squad than see any of his little troopers in trouble
In the everyday domestic disputes, discipline obviously begins and ends with you
You had to convince him that timeouts were not equivalent to capital punishment
Even then, you have to stop him from letting the kids out early
Bed times? What are those?
Speaking of bed, you had to invest in a bigger one because your beloved couldn't bear sending any of the kids away when they wanted to sleep with mom and dad
Seriously, he cannot say no to his babies
No night is complete with out tickle fights, either
Despite often having a foot in your ribs (which doesn't always belong to a child), you actually love sleeping with your family near and wouldn't have it any other way
Exception: the kids get sent to their own beds immediately when mommy wants a tickle fight with daddy. Commander's orders.
It's not only fun and games
With a little coaching from you, Hardcase was able to find balance between work and play, especially as the kids entered adolescence
It's not his strong suit, but he genuinely tries to help them with their academy studies (eventually they learn to go to you first; dad is for times of desperation only)
He is, however, at the ready any time they need a good joke or exciting story to brighten their day and banish their stress
Family holo night is mandatory
There's usually bickering over what to watch - i.e. your partner and offspring are disputing which loud, brightly-colored animated holo to put on - but diplomacy resumes as soon you bring the snacks out
Sometimes you just can't help but laugh and watch the chaos
All of your children certainly inherited their father's bold enthusiasm for life and passionate courage
When your daughter began to experience bullying at academy for standing up for a friend, Hardcase wasted no time expressing how proud he was of her for doing what's right
He was equally supportive of the boys when they later showed interest in weapons training and possible careers in the military
Just as when they were younger, he is always there for them to make them smile and feel secure and loved
There's no limit to what Hardcase will do for his family, and you wouldn't trade one day of your beautiful, whirlwind life with him for anything in the galaxy

Okay so I need to hear all of your Mayday as a dad headcanons. I mean if you’re going to have ten kids with him.
YES! 😩🥺 We all know that all clones are kind of paternal (thanks to Jango and the Mandalorian genes I guess) but Mayday will always have a special place in my heart he would be such a good dad and a great support, that's why I can imagine having a bunch of kids with this man. 😌
Mayday Dad headcannons:
he's such a loving and devoted man, you can see how he cares about his man, his brothers, even Crosshair. Just imagine the amount of love he would feel towards his children
with the patience of a saint, this man would make an excellent mentor and teacher. Like Cody, he embodies genuine goodness and unwavering loyalty. The kids would learn essential virtues like courage, loyalty, and the significance of fighting for what is right from the best teacher they could ever have.
I can totally see (a bit like Hunter) that this man would have the urge to adopt every abandoned kid that's in need, giving them a better future
he adores venturing into nature with his children, exploring the wilderness together. It's a chance for him to teach them valuable survival skills and everything they need to know to thrive in the outdoors.
he's a gifted storyteller, and gathering around the campfire to listen to his captivating tales is an absolute blessing. Whether recounting his own adventures or spinning imaginative tales, it's always so much fun.
as the children are little, he relishes carrying them in his arms, taking joy in cradling them close. Even during his duties, he often keeps one of them nestled safely in a sling, their presence a comforting reminder amidst his work. Even during moments of rest, you'll find a child peacefully dozing on his chest, for he revels in the warmth of their presence and cherishes the intimate bond they share. Having them close is a source of immense happiness, as he finds solace and delight in the tender connection that binds them together.
the kids always find comfort in knowing that their dad stands unwaveringly by their side. He holds an unbreakable bond with them, so profound that he would bravely lay down his life without a second thought to shield them from harm's way. His devotion to their safety and well-being is an unyielding commitment, an unspoken promise that they are his priority above all else.
Bonus pregnancy headcannons:
this man would treasure your body and prioritize your comfort above all else. With just a single glance, he can understand your desires and will do whatever it takes to fulfill them, ensuring you have everything you need and want.
protective mode activated! Normally he is not overprotective and knows what you are capable of, but that could change with the pregnancy. He will make sure you get the best care and nothing would happen to you, while he takes away from you everything he considers too strenuous and dangerous. He ignores your words that you are pregnant and not sick.
Nesting Instinct: As the pregnancy progresses, Mayday becomes increasingly involved in preparing a safe and comfortable space for the baby. He takes on various DIY projects to create a nursery within your home, wanting everything to be perfect for the little one's arrival
Ok I think I could go on and on with this so I'll stop now. 😂
In conclusion:

#Not sure if I’m allowed to pull out these tags as a separate reblog#but that is an interesting and fucked up theory I like it#and absolutely want to hear the long version#vegeta
you absolutely are as far as i'm concerned but since op's post was getting a bit long i'll respond here
dbz always reblog i have a theory that there's actually a reason for this it stems from my theory that vegeta's mom doesn't exist bc he's a clone of his dad basically it eventually become obvious that frieza was going to take whichever kid was heir to the throne so king vegeta (kv i guess) went ''aight we need a Super Baby (no tuffles allowed) and i'm the coolest guy on the planet. need a baby me'' so he gets a bunch of the buffest nerds imaginable (be real saiyan scientists like the job bc they get to fight physics) and start working kv: i need this kid to last as long as possible we're gonna need to buy some time scientists: got it boss *proceed to make the universe's most ridiculously hard to kill infant* how's this kv: excellent. frieza catch! frieza: oh this is adorable! i'm going to traumatize it =) <-an extremely brief summary of my hc
(^the tags in question)
ok so first there are a couple of things i need to get out of the way ahead of time– namely, i'm not the first person to come up with the vegeta-is-a-clone idea; the first person i saw with that idea was someone who wrote a fic i read a while back that i'm blanking on the name of at the moment, and while their version is massively different from mine, the core concept of clone!veggie is more or less the same
the second thing is that i get way too into world building sometimes and so a lot of pieces of my hcs get mixed up with one another and often don't fit in with established canon (which isn't like abnormal or anything but i want to clarify that i already know some of this doesn't perfectly slot up. in my defense the db timeline doesn't even match up with itself half the time)
the final thing is that while i've seen bits of the anime and the first handful of super episodes, i'm mostly a manga fan, so i view any non-manga parts of dragon ball as free real estate
buckle up, i was not kidding about the length (*immature snickering*)
SO.
first and foremost the relationship between the tuffles and the saiyans: the tuffles are described as being a peaceful yet technologically advanced race, but in my hc, they're a bit more complicated than that. for starters, i don't see how a supposedly peaceful race is going to have high-tech blasters, and while it's possible that they're for defensive purposes, it... really doesn't give off that vibe. also they were super into some fairly questionable science, some of which objectively involved human experimentation (or... humanoid experimentation, i guess)
jumping back to the future for a sec: gohan. gohan is a half-human, half-saiyan male hybrid, and while two separate species somehow producing a hybrid child isn't unheard of, male hybrids are almost always completely infertile. and yet, gohan grows up and has a kid (another explanation is gohan and videl are t4t, which i also love, but it doesn't really fit into this). so how are saiyans and humans not only capable of reproducing together, but capable of having children that can also reproduce? my theory here is that saiyans are genetically modified (early) humans– tuffles arrived on earth sometime prior to homo erectus finishing the jump to homo sapiens, grabbed a handful of various lab rats, and got to work.
this would also explain why saiyan tails look the way they do. to elaborate, here's a spider monkey skeleton:
notice how the tail is made up of more vertebrae that continue along the same curve as the rest of the spine. meanwhile, goku's tail looks like this:
it juts straight out, almost perpendicular to his spinal cord. to me, that does not look like how tails work– it looks grafted on. in the video game kakarot, bulma even makes goku a fake tail for him to fish with that he can just... stick right on there. i know dragon ball science is already broken af (someone please explain to me how dr briefs isn't basically a deity for inventing capsules), but if the tail is a genetic trait that didn't evolve naturally, it makes some sense (in the way anything in dragon ball makes sense, that is)
so– saiyans are a highly adaptable species that seem to be able to eat basically whatever, can both endure and dish out catastrophic amounts of damage, are biologically driven to fight to the point where it's hard to imagine how a society full of them could function at all, get stronger whenever they recover from being seriously injured, can transform into giant apes, and yet have a glaringly obvious weakness that can pretty much completely incapacitate them if you know about it? they seem designed for war, and not in the natural evolution-is-just-funny-like-that-sometimes way.
what we know about the tuffles sort of differs from source to source, but the most negative opinions come from the saiyans– according to vegeta, the tuffles basically treated them as slaves. which... yeah, that adds up, given everything.
anyway, here's where i divorce from canon entirely bc according to gt, king vegeta iii is the one who led the saiyans in the war against the tuffles, which raises... honestly so many questions. so i'm ignoring that; it was vegeta i and he was never officially king, but more on that later. i also need to note that the whole "saiyans lived on planet sadala, fucked it up, and moved to planet plant which later became planet vegeta" to my knowledge is not manga canon but since i like the general idea, i sorta moved it a bit.
in my version, the saiyans and the tuffles both lived on planet sadala, but the war between the two species got a little out of hand and the planet was kaputski (to be fair, if you suddenly got to turn into a giant ape and wreak havoc on the people who were possibly enslaving you, you might go a bit overboard too), so the saiyans stole all the tuffles' ships and gtfo'd (this is why everyone was so sure the tuffles were gone. bc typically blowing up someone's planet is a good way to get rid of all of them. at least in theory– i'm sure frieza can tell you all about how well it works in practice)
back to vegeta i– he wasn't a king, technically, but he was the saiyan who started, led, and according to all saiyan sources (which are biased but w/e) finished the revolt, and chose to die on the planet in an act of heroic sacrifice and/or symbolism and/or his daughter twisted a fact or two bc propaganda is a game we all can play, and the new planet they landed on was named after him. said daughter took the same name, declared the planet and the king to be one and the same, and set about conquering the shit out of it. so vegeta ii was technically the first king but if you asked her she was the second and also disrespecting her father and probably also about to be killed via spear (oh btw king vegeta ii is famed for her giant war spear which was very cool and intimidating and probably didn't see much use outside of ritual combat bc it's honestly more efficient to just blast people but all the statues and art and whatnot have her with it)
i'm going to take a minute to gloat about vegeta ii bc honestly she's one of my alltime favorite ocs that i've made, despite the fact that i don't intend to ever have her show up in anything (yass gurl haunt that narrative!!!) but basically she's a deeply respected figure in saiyan culture, although she died way before any of the saiyans still alive in dbz were born (except nappa), bc she... basically built saiyan culture from scratch. pretty much all the core beliefs the saiyans as a people had were from her very deliberately and surprisingly sneakily forcing them to be developed bc she was fully aware that the saiyans needed more than a love of battle to actually survive as a society independent of the tuffles. she basically had the whole thing set up and ready to last and become a proper empire but unfortunately the one kid that lived long enough to succeed her (by killing her in combat, obviously, and yes the others all tried and died– she's an important figure, not a nice one) ran face first into frieza and we all know how that went down
anyhow, vegeta ii's reign (which lasted a crazy long time bc she lived way longer than she should've and almost certainly used some kind of not-so-great method of living that long, but in her defense she needed to make sure at least one of her kids was cool enough to be in charge, so what's a few war crimes between monarchs) pretty much cemented all the saiyan pride and identity that vegeta iv is so fond of, and not just bc she was his grandma either.
the reason i have to get through all of that to explain my clone!vegeta theory is bc i need to explain why king vegeta iii became king in the first place– under vegeta ii's system, anyone could challenge for the throne at any time, regardless of who they were. her own children were expected - but not required - to do so, and if she died before an heir could kill her in glorious combat, the princes would become stewards and have the duty of finding the next king (who couldn't be one of them. fight and die for that shit like a real saiyan or no throne for you). however, there was actively incentive not to do that bc A) whoever's in charge has to actually be in charge and therefore gets to fight way less, and B) in order to become king you had to be ritually stripped of your identity as a person with the understanding that if you died during your challenge your name would be stricken from all records, none of your family or friends would ever acknowledge that you had ever existed, and you would simply cease to be (the afterlife doesn't follow these rules but most of the saiyans who are there still do, including the ones who by saiyan law no longer exist. say what you will about saiyans; they're a dedicated lot)
so anyway vegeta iii (before becoming vegeta iii – he had a different name bc names are super important in my version of saiyan culture but if i get into that here we will literally be here for the rest of the week - but i'll call him that for the sake of my sanity) is somewhat reluctant to challenge for the throne bc none of his siblings have managed it (not that they exist anymore whoops), but one of his colleagues/presumed ruling partner (not gonna get into saiyan relationships here either sorry) has been pushing him to do so for a while now
i think i've gone through a few names for vegeta's not-mom, but the most recent one is touga (from tougarashi, or capsicum annuum, and yes i was thinking of neon orange glimmer song by the mountain goats when i named her), so i'll call her that. touga is a pretty saiyan-y saiyan– she's violent, temperamental, proud, strong, and so forth, but another thing she is is deeply, deeply loyal to her people. she's also very aware of vegeta iii's weaknesses (such as "will probably care a little too much about kids if he has any" and "may make decisions based off of feelings instead of cold hard practical logic" and "seems likely to develop emotional attachments to family members"; you know, normal kingly failings) and has the lady macbeth-esque stainless steel go-fuck-yourself coldness to make up for her future husband's pathetic little morals or whatever
anyway, touga pushes vegeta iii to go for the throne bc holy shit his mom has been alive for way too long but also she has faith in hi or something and duty and whatever and dude do it if you ever want this saiyan tail, and eventually he caves and goes for it. he fights his mom, wins, gets a shiny new king name and is all set to run his kingdom. and then king cold shows up.
now in between killing his mom and our favorite chilly boys coming to town, vegeta iii and touga have had a kid, prince escallion (who is a girl ftr but i can't get into saiyan thoughts on sex/gender or the language or even escallion herself in this post bc we will never ever leave). escallion is pretty neat, just the strongest baby in history or whatever, but then post-cold arriving and politely yoinking the saiyans into his empire, rumors start spreading that frieza miiiiight be wanting a saiyan under his personal command. no prizes for guessing whose palace he's looking at for pickings. obviously the only prince they've got is not someone they can afford to lose, but they need a sure bet on super-infants and can't afford hoping for a genetic bingo, so vegeta iii assembles the universe's swole-est scientists and has them get started on making the Coolest Baby Ever (by cloning him, the king, bc he's the strongest but also bc frieza is an asshole and likes playing mind games with people so let's be real he's taking one of the king's kids no matter how tough they are)
so vegeta iv gets made (and named inappropriately but that's frieza's fault and a story for another time so ignore it for now) and eventually tarble is born and almost immediately sent off just in case frieza decides to be a bigger dick than usual (spoilers: frieza is going to decide to be an even bigger dick than that), and vegeta gets to spend the first few years of his life with his dad, big sis, and not-mom until he gets shipped off to go be a child soldier/slave/distraction, at which point frieza goes ahead and blows up the planet. there's more to it than just that, but i may actually want to write it out some day, so i'll keep the rest to myself for now.

i just rewatched the 2017 duck tales series and while i do absolutely adore it and will watch it again… they really flubbed that ending, man.
sure it’s cool that webby’s a clone, i guess… but doesn’t that loop us right back around to the “family is blood” idea that webby’s character has been actively set against this entire series?
and, excuse me, but if you are a clone of someone that someone is NOT YOUR DAD. if anything he’s your weird old twin. webby calling scrooge “dad” is sooooo awkward…
and yeah, bradford is a bad dude with a terrible fascist plan to weed all chaos out of the world - but he’s NOT WRONG when it comes to mcduck’s adventuring shenanigans causing trouble that could be avoided if he would just let the damn treasures be. if we weed out the rest of bradford’s stupid plan, this one eccentric billionaire being forced to stop running around the world messing with ancient artifacts is, like, fine.
i recognize that the concept of “exploration is penetrative and a lot of what we call discovery is just rape and murder” is a *smidge* heavy for a children’s show, but the writers really had the opportunity to explore some nuance with the finale storyline and they did not…
anyway. love the show.
