random therian memory!!

when I was young, i really liked scary stories. i LOVED the "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" books. one of them has a story about a girl who was lost by her family and raised by wolves, i think in forest? i remember her being found by others in some brush after rumors of a "wolf girl" had circulated town. i read that book and thought "wow, i really wish that was me!" even though it was displayed in a scary, negative light. ive always felt that I should have been raised by animals, especially wolves.

sometimes I feel like if I actually look head on at prompto and everything he means to me I’m going to have to hyperventilate into a paper bag for like an hour. genuinely and truly he makes the game for me - he just. makes everything feel so much more real and tangible and human. I literally can’t talk about it without crying I think but he’s so fucking important!!!

Living out my younger childhood (sense I'm still a minor) by watching things I did when I was younger.such as Hello neighbor and baldis basic.i watched them so fucking much,I'm not even joking.i also watched mlp and I kin pinky pie!I had alot of sparkel dog ocs that got lost in time.i loved sparkels!which is why I named my fursona spark!I was really feminine,still kinda am.wearing a Hello kitty shirt but trust me I love(d) glitter.it was the only thing I wear!!I don't watch mlp as much but I've been watching glitterforce everday!everyday..everyday......

My sister who's not a hq fan saw the movie with her bf who is and both said he reminds them of me. Dont think i've ever seen a character that makes me go "oh shit that's just me." more than Kenma

I’ve noticed this just in my own life so idk if it’s universal, but it seems like people only accept touch aversion as valid if there’s some sort of “reason” behind it. And people especially only really validate FICTIONAL touch aversion as opposed to the touch aversion of real people.

But real people who just ARE touch averse and maybe always have been, seemingly for no “reason,” aren’t treated as valid. Like, personally, I have always been disgusted by touch, and it gives me panic attacks sometimes. Even just the possibility of touch can give me a panic attack, or a crowd of people around me. But it’s not valid because I don’t have a “reason.”

My touch aversion is a huge reason why I relate so much to the character of Kaz Brekker, and Six of Crows felt special to me because my touch aversion looks almost EXACTLY like his. But I realized on a reread that HIS touch aversion will always be viewed as more valid than mine because there is a concrete childhood trauma at the center of it, whereas I couldn’t stand to be touched from the moment I was born. There is no universally-understood-as-bad traumatic event that I can use to explain my touch aversion.

Idrk where I’m going with this. It just makes me kinda sad. People should be more understanding of touch aversion, no matter how or why it has manifested.
