unclear. last night i stayed up and finished a report worth 25% of my grade at about 5am, arrived on time for my 9am lecture, and spent about half of it zoned out while thinking about seventeen year old emilie agreste. and i was one of the most active participants in the class discussion

#in some ways it IS the move to go to grad school right out of undergrad #because your body can still sort of operate like a college kid #i’m on about 3ish hours of sleep rn and this morning it felt SO over but now i’ve eaten something and we’re so back #i also don’t really do caffeine. except sometimes i’ll go get one of those panera death lemonades #i might be able to snag a short nap before work #but anyway about seventeen year old emilie. i was thinking abt how she was in that movie solitude and adrien said she was seventeen #WAIT. NO. HE SAID SHE WAS SEVENTEEN IN THAT PHOTO ON HIS DESKTOP NOT IN THE MOVIE #well. okay whatever i’m gonna tell you what i was thinking about anyway #OKAY i’m back i just checked the wikipedia page and then i watched the end of gorizilla. to make sure i’m not lying. because i’m normal.#anyway i was thinking about the solitude film and how it’s super rare and old and obscure and whatever. and how apparently #emilie wrote it herself and andre produced it #and i’m thinking about how gabe was discovered by audrey and that’s how he got his start in the fashion industry #so now i’m like?? did gabe and emilie first meet on the set of solitude? because gabe was designing costumes or whatever?#and that’s how audrey found him? have people already thought about this??#also i just checked and it doesn’t say emilie’s last name in the credits and also it’s ‘graham films’ with the twin rings logo m #so i’m assuming she’s still emilie graham de vanily at that point #anyway it comes back to seventeen year old emilie because i started imagining seventeen year old runaway emilie having her new life in pari #after escaping her british nobility life #and the first thing she does is write and star in an original movie. of course.#and she meets this repressed bisexual punk upstart costume designer who is so the opposite of everyone she’s ever known #and he’s immediately so unhealthily obsessed with her. which she appreciates.#and then they proceed to have the most toxic doomed evil relationship of all time #also she gets cheated because once gabe gets money he represses himself SO hard that he is now exactly like all the people emilie grew up w #but at least he’s still obsessed with her #this is what i was thinking about during class today. i don’t know how i get anything done either.#ml #anna rambles #asks

what blows my mind is not people telling me “scammers and con artists exist” (no shit, i’ve done that myself when i was a drug addict) but how fast they went from “there may be a few scammers that got on here and you should be cautious” (the vetters acknowledged one got by + have acknowledged for months they couldn’t be perfect) to “actually these are all scambots and the vetters are in on this nefarious foreign crime ring. also people in gaza aren’t going to be on social media. hope that helps! i’m the only rational one here who’s smart enough to understand crime.”

I beat the Elden Ring dlc! ╰(*°▽°*)╯

(With Sir Ansbach and Mimic Tear tbf, but we did it and we all lived till the end of the fight.) I mean I've got no delusions when it comes to my skills, I can't even solo Malenia in her second phase and that even feels more fair to this bullshit endgame boss fight of SotE.

Ugh but my hands still itch for more. I think I still have a post Elden Beast save of my Faith/Int character with the Perfect Order ending. I might go for it.

#elden ring dlc #there are so many cool new incantations and spells to try out and Harv was purely a Dex/Arc boy focused on bleed damage #since I got Morgott's Cursed Sword for him I've never looked back #the only weapon from the DLC I took to was the light greatsword Milady #i mean such a beautiful dance-like moveset #it's actually the weapon that slayed the final boss :3 #i went completely blind into the DLC and I managed to finish a few NPC questlines correctly (those I cared for the most) but not all #so there's still things to uncover #now I won't have any regrets checking the guides

I could wear her tiny baby press on nails #when I talk about how small my hands and arms are I don’t exaggerate lmao I’m just small in some areas #I can stick my entire arm into a Pringle’s can. the really tall ones especially #my dad puts out 1 finger and I can wrap my hand around it baby style #if I go somewhere and they have those bands that you aren’t supposed to be able to take off. I can take it off #it’s one of my special talents 😎 I just wrapped a bendy ruler around my wrist. it was about 5 inches LMAO #yea. very small. very small. I think my ring size is a four 🤔 or a 3 1/2 I can’t remember I don’t really wear rings #I’m scarred I won’t be able to take them off again lmao #y’all remember those brass paper fasteners? the ones you’d use in school to make a pinwheel or smth?#yea I splayed one once and wore it as a ring. it was a perfect fit. like. exactly my size lol it’s funny #I wonder if that would still work 🤔 idk it’s been a few years #the only rings I’d wear are those like. elastic beast ones. they’re the only ones that’ll always fit havagahahahaha

i gotta rant about how much i hate the mega z-ring sidequest from a game design standpoint hold on

#bwark #first of all why the fuck would you lock something so important behind a sidequest #secondly why are all of the npcs in this sidequest such neglectful pieces of shit. i don't wanna return their missing pokemon to them #and finally (and this is the real stinger) why would you put something so important behind a sidequest THAT YOU CAN LOCK YOURSELF OUT OF #context for those who don't know earlier in the game you can buy a bunch of stolen pokemon from the game's black market #and this sidequest involves returning them to their original trainers #the problem is that if anything happens to those pokemon then you're completely fucked out of getting the mega/z-ring #the game checks for the pokemon's ot so if you released these specific pokemon or traded them then you're fucked #i think it also checks for if the pokemon evolved? not sure on that one but i wouldn't put it past rebron to be that stupid #also the amount of time between buying these pokemon and this sidequest is huge #so if you didn't know about the sidequest ahead of time the chances of you getting locked out of it by some mistake go up #if it didn't infuriate me so much it would almost be interesting how someone could fuck up game design so badly #anyway. im mad because while i didnt get locked out of this quest i got locked out of different quest because i sold one of the required #items that you only get once. so im hacking it in when i unlock sandbox mode lol #reborn lb

Recently there has been a fall in engagement with Palestinian content on tumblr, and for those of us who are helping Palestinians fundraise it is very obvious that this has happened directly after the very public smear campaigns, carried out by some racist users with significant followings.

It seems half the site somehow found it easier to believe in the horseshit about “belgian scam rings” and “russian botnets” in an effort to justify their apathy towards genocide victims, and the other half seems to think that everything is over and that the evil was defeated just because some racist bloggers got run off the site after giving half-hearted apologies that did nothing to mitigate the damage they had done.

THERE ARE PEOPLE STILL IN DIRE NEED OF HELP !! There are people who are still getting death threats from zionists every day and have to stay on this godforsaken website because their gofundmes haven't reached their endgoals yet...

I'm going to keep this brief:

Siraj's ( @siraj2024 ) family including his parents, and his five siblings and their families were displaced during the recent attacks by IOF on deir al balah

This means there are now 23 family members that Siraj is the sole provider for at the moment.

10 of those members are young children.

Siraj's wife, Halima, is having a terrible flareup of eczema and his children are suffering from skin infections and badly need medical attention.

This whole family has been living in unhygienic conditions in 2 tents, packed like sardines during this heatwave, leading to spread of infections between them as well– all during a time where hygiene products have become unaffordable due to the israeli blockade, and when water has become scarce, and kids cant even receive life saving vaccinations during polio epidemic.

All this while everyday siraj risks his life trying to reach out to us from an internet point amidst violence and shelling from the IOF in what once was a “humanitarian safe zone”, even more desperately than before because–
