It is a high toss that A list Hollywood actors will be chosen, but it's only fair to have voice actors as an option.

Predictions for the Sonic Cinematic Universe! 💙

❥ Hey everyone! So this post will be similar to my TMNT version, where I’ll just be guessing characters that could come in later movies or TV shows. Thank you & I hope you enjoy!

Silver the Hedgehog 🤍

Silver’s time to shine! Hopefully (lol) but I really hope he’s in the series soon! Since he’s one of the main members of the Hedgehog trio, as well as one of the protagonist in a major Sonic game, I feel he’ll fit in just fine! While I understand his debut didn’t go so well back in 2006, I think he has a big enough fan base to back him up too. Plus, Silver’s just so sweet & cool!

A time-traveling event would be such a great concept for a big film! Similar to the Rise of the TMNT movie, Silver could be an Older! Sonic’s apprentice from the future. Maybe something goes wrong and Silver has to travel back in time to fix it or warn Sonic.

As for portrayals, I like Silver the way he is but since he doesn’t show up too often, there could be ways to develop his personality a bit. While he’s very friendly, maybe making him shy or a little more hesitant than the other characters would fit. Since he might not have alot of heroic experience, Sonic might take on another mentor-ish/big brother role.

Rouge the Bat 💎

I know everyone wants Rouge in the Sonic movies and I do too! While she didn’t show up in the Knuckles series, she would make a great deuteragonist in the show later on! Or as a potential side character in the films! Although she would be a funny contrast to Knuckles with his stubborn, intimidating nature vs her laidback attitude.

Much similar to Shadow, posing as a former antagonist would do well for her, but Rogue feels more of a “mean girl” character than a big bad villain. Especially given her recent history in Sonic media. At the very least, she could be a jewel thief or treasure hunter who’s looking for the Master Emerald, but then decides to help everyone instead.

Continuing the “mean girl” perspective, a Movie version of Rouge would likely be interested in—well—her own interests. 😅 She knows what she wants & goes after it, but if it’s unavailable she might throw a fit… This could balance out Knuckles though if they interact, since he’s a lot more grounded but very loyal to everyone. Especially his allies!

Team Chaotix 🔎

These are characters I’m also very excited for! Ecstatic even! But since they come as a trio, there’s more to work with in adapting them for a film or TV show. Although they did have a cameo in the prequel comics! So hopefully that’s a sign!

Story-wise I think it would be a good opportunity to reunite the Chaotix with Knuckles! Plus they have some big in-game history with him in their first game, so it would be cool to have some sort of big mystery for them all to solve! Wade could tag along too & maybe the Chaotix become official detectives in Green Hills.

For personalities I think they would all be relatively the same, but I would LOVE to see Vector get into old noir films! Maybe try a few funny quips from the 1940s, only to say them wrong. 😅

Espio would be the type of character to just pop up out of no where all the time, like a true ninja! I also want to hear him with a Japanese voice actor, that I feel is just very fitting.

Since Charmy is already a hyperactive character, his energy could be a good contrast to Tails since they’re around the same age. Plus you got Colleen O'Shaughnessey doing two characters!

Tikal 🧡

Now I was a little unsure about Tikal appearing in the SCU considering she doesn’t appear very often & doesn’t reoccur either. But this could give her a chance to shine! Since she has big ties with Knuckles in the games, I think she could have at the very least a cameo or some kind of mention.

Her portrayal would be more fitting in the Knuckles TV show if they ever did a season 2 maybe. Since it mostly focuses on him, Tikal could be another ancestral spirit. Or if they really wanted to go big she could be another tribe member looking for Echidnas! That would be awesome!

Now all I really know about Tikal personality-wise is that she’s gentle & sweet! Her presence would be a nice addition to the cast; someone calming since the others can be very “upfront” with their abilities. Especially Sonic & Knuckles!

The Sonic AU I had in my head that I don't plan on writing, but I do have a couple of ideas on it and might write one shots for:

It takes place in Sonic X with the elements of the Sonic Cinematic Universe, like Tom, Maddie and Agent Stone

It adds characters from different Sonic Media such as Tangle, Whisper, Sticks, Gemerl etc.

The games that have happened before this were Sonic 1 to 3, Sonic Advance Trilogy (Mostly.)

Cubot and Orbot change places with Decoe and Bocoe.

Infinite is actually from a tribe that protects the Phantom Ruby alike The Echidnas and he was the only one to survive as the sole reason why he survived was that "he was too young, too weak." Around that time, he met up with Eggman as when he was a child, of which he grew to have a soft spot for.

The first time Infinite met Sonic was when the first usage of Mecha Sonic, which was more or less an armour for him, was shown in Sonic 2, of which the helmet was that of the same one that he uses, permanently scarring his right side, swearing revenge on the Blue Blur.

After most of the events of Sonic Adventure 2 happens in Sonic X, Infinite shows up and basically brutally beats up Sonic, capturing him as by the request of Eggman which then the invasion begins.

Later down the line, Metal Sonic meets with Infinite and he was instructed to copy the Biomechanics of Infinite to have powers of the Phantom Ruby, albeit weaker than it.

This is actually the time where we meet Silver, who travelled back in time to stop the invasion and manages to help out everyone there. He saves Tails, Amy and Knuckles when they were tired from battling all of Eggman's robots, teleports most of the good guys away from Infinite and briefly fights Metal Sonic before he went to think of a safe plan to get the Chaos Emeralds and save Sonic.

Silver, Espio, Rouge and Whisper go in to save Sonic as they are the most stealthiest and manage to get most of the Chaos Emeralds.

Then, they all begin to strategize on how to beat Eggman, Metal Sonic and Infinite. Eggman has the last Chaos Emerald, Metal Sonic has biomechanics of both the Chaos Emerald and Phantom Ruby and Infinite has the full power of the Phantom Ruby, not to mention, Agent Stone is working with them due to his loyalty to Eggman.

Silver, Shadow and Sonic decide to stall Infinite for the time being while Knuckles, Tails, Amy and Sticks battle with Metal Sonic to counter him, while Rouge, Omega, Whisper, Tangle, Espio, Vector and Charmy battle Eggman and Stone. The last three are defeated as Espio throws the last Chaos Emerald towards the three Hedgehogs, allowing them to go Super against an Infinite breaking down with the Phantom Ruby going ballistic with the user.

At the end, Super Silver, Shadow and Sonic manage to beat Infinite, making the Phantom Ruby shatter into bits with a tiny fragment still in Infinite's hands as he falls to the ground.

While Stone and Eggman were arrested, Cubot and Orbot quietly take Infinite to a safe location, to rest up after the fight.

Fantastic Man Magazine turned an issue over to writer/director Luca Guadagnino

who assembled some of his past and future collaborators, as well as people he admires.

I am always surprised to remember Josh O'Connor hadn't worked with Luca before because O'Connor's GOD'S OWN COUNTRY came out the same time as CALL ME BY YOUR NAME and the comparisons were rife. The difference between the two films is O'Connor got starkers and it wasn't just bum shots; and there was certainly no panning away to the moon.

The lack of explicit sex in CALL ME BY YOUR NAME is (once again) defended by Luca.

Luca discusses his projects that did not get off the ground, including the Bob Dylan biopic BLOOD ON THE TRACKS (not to be confused with James Mangold's GOING ELECTRIC which was to star Timothee Chalamet). Also grounded is his adaptation of BRIDESHEAD REVISTED which was to star Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara and Joe Alwyn.

I'm just going to take a swing and guess that his other projects - a SCARFACE remake, an adaptation of Scotty Bowers' autobiography and FIND ME, the sequel to CALL ME BY MY NAME will also never see the light of day.

But his reunion with Timothee Chalamet is a done deal.

Something that I think would be cool for Knuckles in the Sonic Cinematic Universe is to make the Chaotix his supporting cast, like how it was back in Archie. It's a way to make his side of the Sonic universe more unique.

it would be hilarious if team chaotix showed up in a future sonic movie. vector is literally an inch taller than james marsden and i honestly think the visual of having a 5'11" anthropomorphic crocodile next to james marsden would be hilarious.

also can you imagine the antics they'd get up to? they would absolutely accidentally wreak havoc everywhere they go. they're in green hills? vector's harassing wade while espio is trying to keep charmy from making a mess of the police station. they're in san fransisco? it's the first movie's property damage all over again. they're in hawaii? vector's taking a nap on the beach while espio is trying to keep charmy from causing chaos at a local resort.

the potential yall. i hope the potential of these 3 dorks is not skipped out on in the sonic cinematic universe. and, since they're detectives, i don't think it'd be that hard to add them to the movie universe (even if it's just in a series or something). their cameo in the sonic 2 prequel comic implies they're still detectives, as they appeared to be investigating something.

i also just think it'd be fun to see what they do with vector and espio's skin textures since they have scales and how they'd do charmy's design. there are so many species of bee and not all of them are fuzzy (for example, honeybees have fuzzy thoraxes but a smooth abdomen, while bumblebees are super fuzzy), which makes me wonder if they'd give charmy fuzz or not.
