Do NOT go into Sonic 3 and expect it to be and exact copy of Sonic Adventure 2. This is not an adaptation of the game, it’s Sonic 3: the movie. Do not expect specific characters, levels, references, plot points, or whatever. This movie is its own story.

maybe it's just awkward timing of the screenshot and my desire to eat crumbs but it doesn't exactly look like tails is enjoying himself here? look at those furrowed eyebrows. that's a "what the heck is happening rn" face. he looks like the on-site photographer just reached their table and asked for a smile right in the middle of robotnik talking about how much he enjoys death and destruction.

mutual mentioned tails dressing up as rudolph the red nosed reindeer and honestly. i think that would be his favorite holiday movie. i mean come on. the guy gets ostracized by his peers because he looks different, finds someone who accepts him despite his differences, and discovers the thing that sets him apart from others isnt really that bad after all. is that not almost exactly what happens to tails?
