Hi guys,

We all know I shop and adore Charlotte Tilbury makeup but now we have a brand new fragrance collection! If you didn't know years ago Charlotte released a fragrance we all loved but unfortunately it was discontinued! But now we have a brand new collection to shop.

The new collection is called Collection of Emotions, each fragrance scent is inspired by emotion and moods whether it is joy, magic, desire, love, calm or cosmic! Since this was a new collection I decided to go to the counter first and actually spray each scent instead of guessing what I might like. Ironically the two scents I thought I'd like where the 2 out of the 6 I really liked. In this collection you can buy travel sized fragrances for £20 10ml or a full size 100ml for £130. As you can imagine I'm not spending £130 on a perfume so I decided to get 2 travel sized ones. So let's chat about the scents I picked up.

The first scent I picked up is the Charlotte Tilbury Calm Bliss Eau de Parfum. Now this was the scent when I first saw the collection I knew I would like because I adore fresh, lightweight scents. This fragrance is described as "Calm Bliss gently manifests tranquillity and serenity, illuminated by the sparkling precious Neroli Oil that provides a fresh and floral facet to the fragrance. The peacefulness is embodied by the scent of natural Lavandin which gives it a distinctive and floral aromatic character. It evokes a beautiful, tranquil aroma which perfectly combines with the weightlessness of the watery accord.Calm Bliss is the perfect relaxing scent that bathes you in a tranquil oasis of serenity and peace.". This fragrance is by far my favourite and most used out of the two, and admittedly I do feel calm and relaxed when I spray the fragrance.

The second scent I picked up is the Charlotte Tilbury Love Frequency Eau de Parfum. This particular scent wasn't something I thought I would actually like but after the first spray at the counter I knew I wasn't going without it. This fragrance is described as "A flash of addictive pink pepper, rose ultimate and spicy, sultry saffron feel like a warm embrace that attracts the purest love to you and everyone around you! Blended with sensual musks, alluring ambery woods and intoxicating patchouli heart, it elicits feelings of love to make your heart dance, leaving a love scent trail in its path that lasts up to 18 hours!" . This scent kinda confused me because I was expecting something more floral but the hints of musk surprised me.

I love this collection and it's nice to see Charlotte release something new and different. If you're looking to try the collection yourself I would recommend purchasing a travel size fragrance before the full size just in case! As always all products mentioned are linked above.

She feels like she's been transported into an alternate universe, it's that different. Maybe she has been teleported. Pizza City already had enough supernatural stuff for that to happen.

______________ Harper, who criticizes Saffron's pizza making daily. Every detail, from how Saffron rolls out dough to the taste of the sauce.

Now Harper comes in daily, asking Saffron for pizza making advice. Pizza making advice! Saffron had thought it was a joke, though she didn't show it out loud.

Charlotte, who usually argued with Saffron over everything, even 'the sky is blue.' Now accepting Saffron's words without question. Charlotte dressed like Saffron, said everything Saffron said, and followed Saffron's advice (Saffron had stopped joking about burning pizzas being the key to her success after Charlotte took it literally). Saffron finds it creepy.

Whenever Dr. Keh saw Saffron now he glared at her. _______________ Pansy. Saffron missed Pansy. Ever since her win Pansy just wouldn't talk to her. Always busy. Pansy said it was because of Pizza Palooza. Saffron wasn't sure she believed her. Saffron had seen Pansy at the movies, at the park, etc.

Saffron used to help Pansy in the kitchen. Now whenever she suggested it Pansy said that Saffron just wanted to steal her recipes.

Personality: Saffron has Acute Temper Fever (ATF). She has poor impulse control and unstable emotions, leading her to have violent outbursts and prolonged time of crying. Her parents are unable to get her to calm down and it’s very hard to get ATF treatment in Totto Land. She’s often a target of Pina’s bullying, who often pulls her brittle hair out. Her inability to control her impulse causes to self-harm and destroy many things. This causes her parents to install tough doors with locks. Recently, Fragrans, who has treated ATF, is able to calm her down and helped her with her treatment. As a result, Saffron has become more calm than before. She is able to express her true friendly self.

About: Charlotte Saffron is the daughter of Newsan, the thirty-eighth son, and his wife, Medved Nadette, who is a retired soldier from Roshwan (Russia). Her paternal grandfather is Fragrans, the 34th husband and the father of the Charlotte Decuplets. He is also Pavlov’s gunman. Since treatment for ATF is unavailable in Totto Land, her parents tried every way to help her and protect everything from her, including herself. They often seen as bad parents from some from the Charlotte family, many of whom are not good parents themselves. This includes Foret-Noire, Brownie, Poire, Effilee, and Anana. Newsan And Nadette tried to get her to be social but other parents, including his own siblings, refused to let her near their children. This further isolated Saffron, causing her to become more violent. It gotten worse when the teachers in her tutor lessons uses corporal punishment to “correct” her behavior. When Fragrans comes to Totto Land, he was able to help his third son and treats Saffron since he has the same condition. This helps Saffron greatly as she was able to calm down without incident and able to enjoy herself. Recently, she made friends with Risotto, the fifth prince of the Alps Kingdom and also has ATF. She’s currently attending the Sweet Dairy.

Acute Temper Fever:

What is it?: It’s a genetic disorder that affects emotional and impulse control. People with ATF usually have a parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent from the North Blue. There are even a few cases that ATF could be hereditary. It’s very uncommon as a small percentage of people worldwide have it.

Symptoms: It can cause unstable emotions, such as uncontrollable crying and extreme rage, and violent outbursts. It also causes the hair and nails to be brittle due to the abnormal release of hormones from the thyroid. Strangely, nails have grown to a faster rate. They are more likely to commit self-harm but doesn’t have any sort of suicidal tendencies.

Treatments: Behavioral therapy can help the individual to help their impulse control. Hormonal treatment to decrease the stress hormones and adrenaline. It’s very important for the person with ATF received this every two weeks. Therapy pets are sometimes recommended.

What NOT to do: Physical punishment is the WORST thing someone can do to a child with ATF. This can lead the child to become even MORE violent and can make them scream for hours, or even DAYS, at a time. It can lead to the child attacking the person and self-harm at the same time. Bringing up an unwanted memory to the individual can also lead them to be violent.

Whisky King Prawn Tails in Saffron and Pea Cream

These beautiful Whisky King Prawn Tails in Saffron and Pea Cream were our flavourful and colourful main course on Christmas Eve! I reckon they’d make an excellent date night dinner, too! 

Ingredients (serves 2):

2 tablespoons olive oil

a dozen fresh King Prawn Tails

a generous pinch (about a heaped 1/4 teaspoon) saffron threads

1 large Green Onions, rinsed

1/4 cup good quality Whisky (like Bruichladdich’s Port Charlotte)

a pinch of fleur de sel and freshly cracked black pepper

3/4 cup double cream

2 teaspoons demerara sugar

1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1 cup frozen garden peas

In a large, deep skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. Add King Prawn tails, and cook until they become bright pink, and just start browning. Reduce heat to medium-high, and stir in saffron threads. Cook, a couple of minutes more.

Finely chop white part of the Green Onion, reserving green part, and stir into the skillet. Once softened, pour Whisky all over the prawn tails, and carefully ignite with a match. Flambé, until flames completely die down. Then, season with fleur de sel and black pepper. 

Stir in double cream, and bring to a slow boil. Then, reduce heat to low, and simmer, ten minutes. Stir in demerara sugar until dissolved.

Meanwhile, bring a medium saucepan of water to the boil. Stir in coarse sea salt and bicarbonate of soda until dissolved. Then, add frozen garden peas, and cook, about 5 minutes until tender. Drain thoroughly, and stir the peas into the skillet, coating in saffron cream. Cook, a couple of minutes.

Finely chop green part of the Green Onion.

Serve Whisky King Prawn Tails in Saffron and Pea Cream hot, sprinkled with chopped Green Onion.
