Someone already suggested miraidon in the comments, so I'll have to suggest something else. Maybe sableye could be cool?

This one's less a specific character in my mind and more a wide concept. (though this one fits in with it!)

I imagine Sableyes as a race in this world are probably less common in cities, more common in rural towns and such, especially mountainous ones. They have keen senses to find gems and the like so I imagine they are very suited to work as like. prospectors and such telling people where to dig or digging for minerals themselves! I also do love the idea of a sableye showing you around a jewelry shop, telling you which pieces are the most valuable- and the most tasty- For that matter they could work as appraisers!

Their eyes are still gems/gem-like (I may draw that another time) but I wanted to draw a gremlin with its eyes covered that is almost certainly NOT allowed in jewelry shops lmao.

Here's a Miraidon anthro/pokemon-human hybrid/whatever Lolol who knows.

Named her Mila cause I like alliteration :] the company she's set to inherit is probably called like, Miraidon Corp, since that's the family name or whatever.

I feel like I should note that whenever Syd says Greg is giving them a look, Greg is just doing the blank slowpoke stare. Greg very rarely has any other expression on his face.

Things I'm trying to remember about characters around Syd, I'll be keeping this post updated so I don't forget my own lore and also add additional people as they come up!

Camylla

1. Former participant in Contests in Hoenn, has a noticeable Hoenni accent

Pink hair! Very outgoing and forceful when it comes to her feelings.

Has a Vulpix and a Nidoqueen (and a few other pokemon that she's been collecting in her travels. She's got a Pikachu and a Clefairy now as well :] she'll be picking up a water type when she heads for the seafoam islands(I'm thinking Horsea or Staryu), and an Eevee as well later, though maybe not!!)

She has not only the Celadon badge, but the Pewter and Viridian city badges as well (I'm running under the headcanon that gyms can be challenged in any order in a region so long as you collect all badges before challenging the elite 4)

Also has the Cerulean city badge. I forgot that one was technically in the path trajectory I've been thinking of for her romp across Kanto

It's really interesting how the Pokemaniac didn't appear in any games from ORAS to the Let's Go! Games. It makes the diversity of the list as you go down the line pretty interesting because you suddenly hit ScarVio and they're using a whole bunch of new pokemon... Not to mention the diversity in the stadium games but idk. I don't know much. I just think it's neat.
