Spider-Man snitches on the X-Men and fights them all

Spider-Snitch is creeping around Battleworld during Secret Wars (1985) and overhears the X-Men discussing how they don't feel welcome among the other heroes (justified.) He 'doesn't like what they were saying' and plans to rat on them.

Embarrassingly, he beats up all the X-Men, who look like absolute chumps not for the last time in this event. The little shit bounces to tattle to Cap and Reed.

Ha, chump! You forgot that no matter what Xavier says, he loves tampering with people's minds. Spider-Man forgets what he overheard. Cyke is open about missing his wife and picks up on Chuck's change in attitude. Unfortunately he's correct on both counts - Chuck does plan to demote Storm in favour of himself and it will be a disaster. .
