“Yes?” Seyka nods, as she stands up and walks over to Alva, the nurse who was gleefully looking on at her. She was a bag of nerves, as her heartbeat thumped faster than ever before.

Indeed it is a rough day for Seyka. To fight her way through a chaotic traffic while narrowly escaping a downpour without her umbrella. Shift work was never her thing, actually. Given the pressure to make it while moving towards her goal of becoming a medical doctor, Seyka is determined to make it work.

However, the more she thinks about it, the insurmountable pressure starts to catch up on her.

A fog starts to catch up in Seyka’s head. Dazed, confused, everything in her world seems to be running in circles. “Is everything okay?” Alva looks on with concern, as she senses a strange foreboding.

Seyka collects herself, as she calmly looks at Alva. “Yes. What is it again?”

“Your turn is here,” Alva replies. “This way please. Dr Sobeck has a tight schedule today.”

“Did she said Sobeck?” Seyka thinks to herself, walking swiftly to the office. She hesitantly opens the door, where she is greeted by a familar presence—Aloy Sobeck.

Megan's Blorbo Bracket

I got sick of my favorite characters getting knocked out of random tournaments and then me not caring about any of the possible winners. @perihelions suggested I make a bracket of just my favorite characters instead. So I present 32 blorbos: No matter who wins a poll, I will win because my blorbo wins, and no matter who loses, I lose because my blorblo loses. But the people who will lose most will undoubtedly be my followers, who have to sift through more junk posts from yours truly. Without further ado:

"You like so many things. How did you pick?" I limited myself to two blorbos per fandom and every pairing was randomized. I have other favorites that I left out for lack of blorbo energy, or I just wasn't feeling it, or I hit my "two per fandom" maximum. Maybe if I'm bored later I'll make a bracket of just the rejects.

5. Do you respond to comments?

I try to respond to all of them! Sometimes I get behind, but I usually get to them by the time I post a new chapter, at least.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Uhh probably i've looked at clouds from both sides now. Even though only one of the major characters dies, it somehow still feels angstier than the literal necrophilia fic where they both die.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I feel like most of my other fics have a happy ending? Both of the completed multi-chaps I linked above definitely do.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I occasionally get a rude comment, but I have no qualms about being a dick or just deleting/blocking. I have gotten a few tumblr anons that made me roll my eyes, but any hate I get has been firmly a THEM problem and not a ME problem. Haters stay pressed. 💅

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

It's a rare day when I do not write smut. I write all kinds. Since writing in the Daemyra fandom, my list of "hard no's" when it comes to writing has rapidly diminished; it seems like every other day I discover a new kink that makes my brain do a record-scratch. I started writing fic again in 2020, and published baby's first smut shortly thereafter, but it was fairly standard stuff. Now I'm like "well if you aren't literally digesting your lover, is it really romance??!"

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

The only crossover I've written is a House of the Dragon/Naked Attraction crackfic that infected my brain during the depths of binge of the latter show.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Only one that I know of - someone copy/pasted all of do you really feel alive without me into different chapters of their ""fic"".

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

for our blood is restless was translated into Russian here.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. My writing process is chaotic and inconsistent and I would not inflict that on another writer. I'm also very particular about what I do and do not want to write, as well as my prose, so I don't think co-writing is for me. If we don't like to break the rules of English grammar in the exact same way, I'm afraid we won't be able to get along.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

I mean, I think it's pretty obvious. 😅 Daemon Targaryen/Rhaenyra Targaryen (House of the Dragon) has only been my OTP for <2 years, but they are already my all time favorite. Prior to that, it was Dramione (Harry Potter), Cullen Rutherford/Female Inquisitor (Dragon Age: Inquisition), and Aloy/Avad (Horizon Zero Dawn).

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Not technically a single WIP, but I always meant to add more stories to my collection of Cullen/Inquisitor Dragon Age fics (most of which I posted during Swoon June 2022). It's possible I'll experience another burst of inspo for that fandom when Dragon Age: Dreadwolf finally comes out, but I'm pretty firmly entrenched in Daemyra for the foreseeable future.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue, characterization, ANGST. I think my smut is pretty hot. Idk I generally like everything about my writing. That's why I keep doing it.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Uhhh anything to do with plotting or planning. We thrive on vibes here. ✌️

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Beyond the occasional word or phrase in High Valyrian for my HOTD/ASOIAF fics, I cannot be bothered. Italics and a dialogue tag do me just fine.

Candace also doubles as the unofficial manager because no one clowns when Candace is in.

Your ass is getting thrown out if you try it and her reputation is absolutely terrifying, so things are kept in relative peace.

Is really the only thing keeping the place running and the staff there sometimes.

Works The Night Shift, Throws Hands:

All of the people in this category will absolutely be down to clown at some point because it is 2 AM in the morning and they are tired, so trying them while on the night shift is a death sentence.

Diluc and Kaeya would fight each other if they're riled up, but if anyone tries it on their shift, they are getting teamed on by them.

Rosaria doesn't do overtime and that includes the night shift. The last time someone got up to something on her shift, their collarbone was shattered.

Shenhe simply being present is enough for most people to not try anything, but just in case, she can not only deflect furniture but throw knives with terrifying accuracy and put someone on life support. If she wasn't working there, she'd be instigating.

Tartaglia is an instigator but on the side of chaotic neutral. Fights are all well and fun, but if anyone messes with his coworkers on the shift, he's catching fades.

Yelan is mostly there because it's the only time she's awake; her coworkers swear that she gets off on the thrill somehow. Will occasionally participate in a beatdown if there's a need for more numbers.

Works The Day Shift, Can Mostly Throw Hands:

These people aren't weak by any means, but most of the clownery happens at night. They will get to stepping if it comes to that though.

Amber is one of the nicest people there, to be honest. Customers love it when it's her shift. Firm enough to not really have to resort to hands.

Itto is a big guy so people don't usually do anything. He tries to keep the peace while not escalating to violence but if the occasion calls for it though, he has his coworker's back.

Diona is a little girl, but she is a fighter. Putting her in this category because she has the experience and can break the new hires in.

Kazuha is a peaceable guy, really laid back and stuff like that, but some customers are still telling the tale of how he laid a guy out twice his size after he tried to rob the establishment.

Shinobu takes no shit, but I feel as if she'd be too busy at night to take that shift. Will clown a man if they try it.

Jean is great, friendly, and sociable. Treats the customers well and people don't like starting stuff when she's around. She also doubles as a sort of manager for the day shift.

Noelle isn't crazy enough to do the night shift, but everyone has the mind to be respectful of the petite girl who can benchpress ten grown men and rip off the counter with ease.

Xiangling is the cook. Customers go there for her food specifically. Anyone who tries it with her will be tried by the customers on her behalf.

Bystander, Can Throw Hands If Needed:

These individuals are customers, but will absolutely join the fray if they have to or feel the need to do so.

Aloy goes there on occasion and treats the staff with the proper respect. Will call out anyone not doing the same and will come to blows.

I debated putting Eula in the instigator section, but she doesn't instigate, others feel instigated in her presence and that's their problem. She will not tolerate others clowning on staff that actually treat her well and as such will go to the bat for them.

Ganyu doesn't look like it, but if you read some of her voice lines, you will understand how she can get worked up enough to throw hands. She's also a war veteran, so you know she wouldn't hesitate.

Thoma ran the fade for the criminal offense of scamming. Think of what he'd do to someone acting a fool when he's trying to eat his meal in peace.

Tighnari doesn't take shit, and this includes at Waffle House. Might not be able to clown, but he can tank it to shield someone else.

Eats There Regularly, Unbothered:

Albedo does not give a fuck about anything that happens as long as he gets to eat and leave. He's so quiet that people don't even notice he's there until he gets up to leave.

No one is stupid enough to do anything when Beidou is eating her meal. No one dares. The last person who did was put in a full-body cast.

Sleep-Walking Layla would go during the night shift and revel in the atmosphere, which is either giving empty or giving WWE. Layla has no idea why she tastes shitty coffee on her breath the next day.

Before you say Ningguang is too classy for Waffle House, consider that she would pretty much loiter at the place back in the day. She's more than used to the fighting in the background as she eats her grits.

Qiqi wouldn't process the body getting thrown through the window or the people screaming about a heroin addict with a gun in the background as she sips at her cold chocolate milk.

Venti and Zhongli would eat at Waffle House to catch up on old times. The old men watch the fights as free entertainment as they have nothing to do.

Caught In The Crossfire, Innocent:

These people are the victims of this tier list. They asked for nothing but a good meal and they got pain instead. You can feel bad for them.

Bennett is a given. Not only does his food go flying, but he does as well. Occasionally used as a human shield as he weights as much as a sack of potatoes.

Fischl and Razor went to Waffle House with Bennett, but someone grabbed Razor's hashbrowns and used them as a projectile and Fischl got a mug to the face.

Mona would inadvertently get beaten up for being mistaken for someone else or talking some mad shit and getting in the middle of it.

Sayu was thrown as a projectile at someone while she was asleep.

Sucrose was sleep-deprived and as such, did not process the things thrown at her or the chair that landed next to her.

Xinyan and Yun Jin went to crash there after a concert and it was at the wrong time. Xinyan gets some licks in though!

Yoimiya is deft enough to dodge most of the stuff flying everywhere, but she doesn't enjoy the circumstance. So perhaps she's a victim emotionally.

Records the Fights for The Memes™:

The title speaks for itself, but this is for the people that are filming the entire thing for either the laughs or their own entertainment.

Dori is going to upload this to her YouTube channel as a part of a meme compilation or some commentary, all while plugging her sponsors.

Hu Tao is recording this for advertising purposes: "It's better to get a coffin and arrange your funeral now because your life could be served up like this knuckle sandwich!"

Xingqiu is using this not only for the memes, but for inspiration for fight scenes and I say this because I have unironically done this more than once.

Instigator, Unintentional or Otherwise:

Instigators can either be considered people on absolute crack (literally or figuratively), general threats to the public, absolute dicks, or just being themselves.

Chongyun went with Xingqiu and got too fired up and then proceeded to pick a fight with someone, causing a litany of property damage. Xingqiu recorded the entire thing.

Klee casually pulled out a bomb that could level the entire block and started to play with it as a toy. Naturally, everyone in the restaurant and the general vicinity ran for their fucking lives.

Ei and Shenhe could not understand each other as they were talking, so instead of using their words, they used a spatula and a knife respectively. It got so insane that the video of it posted is one of the most regarded in the Waffle House fights genre.

Scaramouche would talk some mad shit and then get pissed when he got called out. So to save face, he swung at someone in the night shift crew. He has not come back since. If he wasn't instigating, he could work there.

Xiao would instigate with another customer in the establishment and it would carry over to the staff having to get involved. It could be argued that the customer was instigating him, but no one knows.

Yae Miko would start talking some mad shit and then somehow worm her way out of it and make herself look innocent. Mostly starts the fights.

Law Enforcement, Called After It's Done:

They are the people that are called as there are fights. Everyone usually scatters afterward, but on the occasion that there are stranglers, they catch them.

Cyno is a given. He will absolutely get involved and break it up if he sees it. He does not care what started it for whatever reason because that's not his job.

Gorou is a bit nicer in this regard and tries to get to the bottom of it, but make no mistake of him being soft because the bark has a bite.

He only comes in when there's some really suspicious activity around the fight at the Waffle House or in the surrounding area. Otherwise frequents Waffle House when Kazuha is on shift.

Keqing is getting really tired of being called up to that place. She's debating transferring somewhere else if only to avoid having to do this every time she's there.

When they say that Sara's there, everyone runs. They don't want to get on her record and they are afraid of her. She's the one that actually tries to get it to stop and the staff really appreciates it.

Yanfei isn't law enforcement per se, but is the legal assistance and mediator of a good chunk of conflicts. She is graciously paid with free food on the house.

Would Not Go At All:

The title says it all.

Aether and Lumine know better than to pick a fight with that place.

Barbara is too innocent, even for the crossfire.

Why would I wish that on Collei?

Faruzan would either Karen out or start getting a body count and I don't know if Waffle House would maintain the peace with her in the building.

The Kamisatos are better than that.

There's no question as to if she would have a body count or not, but Lisa is too tired for that shit.

Nahida prefers IHOP.

Nilou is peaceable and would actually be a good employee there, but she really likes what she has now and doesn't want to deal with that negativity.

Kokomi came up with a battle plan and five different strategies to fight off and take down the Waffle House staff for fun once. Unfortunately, the police were called and she is now under investigation for domestic terrorism. Understandably banned until further notice.

Maybe even in the time span of Alois and Ciel..? Or if you don't like it, then i have another idea. Like mama is very sick, and she didn't tell them about it. And the boys will have to, somehow, fulfill contracts and take care of her? OR! Or this. A man (a human, a demon, a reaper, no matter who) became romantically insistently interested in mama, and the boys do not like it very much.

Yep, requests are open! And thanks so much for the kind words and I like all of these ideas, so guess what? It's gonna get really chaotic with all three scenarios happening at once! (I did focus on the being sick part though)

Part one

Platonic yandere Sebastian with his mother

This contract was really taking up a lot of time. Not only had the brat named him after a dog, but he had been unable to visit his mother (how he insisted on calling her, as it was the proper thing to do, ignoring the mama that sometimes slipped past his lips and made your smile shine so wonderfully bright), their only correspondence happening through the many letters he had managed to send and receive. Sebastian couldn't help but wait for this contract to end, even though, admittedly, it was one of the most eventful he ever had and therefore quite entertaining. You know what, scratch the former thought, the pact could go on longer so his meal would be more delicious, but he at least wanted to visit home once.

The opportunity to leave for a bit presented itself and he did not waste even one second to rush of, making his way through the familiar forest and reaching the cottage in record time. Before he could even open the door he felt a strange presence, one not belonging to his dear mother and without further ado he basically ripped the door of its hinges, barging in in a rather unpleasant way that he was sure you would later on scold him for.

That did not matter however as he took in the picture before him. There was you, a thick shawl covering your shoulders and hunched position, a cup with steaming tea risen to your pale face. Your eyes, tired but wide open from surprise, stared at him. So was the guy standing next to you, long brown hair tied in a low ponytail and blue eyes portraying even more shock than yours did not looking away from his, though despite this he did not budge from his position of supporting your sitting position.

You were sick, that much he could tell and from the looks of it you had been for a while, never mentioning it to him. You also never thought to bring up this new guest of yours. Sebastian could feel his human form detoriating, black whisps angrily swishing around him as he glared at the man at your side, anger quick to overtake most of his senses.

Before he could do anything he watched as you quickly did your best to stand up, shawl and tea discarded to the table as you took an unsure step towards him, clearly having trouble with keeping you balance, and calling out to him in a hoarse voice. His aggravation was immediately replaced with worry as he was beside you in a moment's notice, wrapping his arms around you to steady you, eyebrows furrowed as he assessed your current state further.

His thoughts were interrupted by the stranger calling out to you, the distressed voice of the pest annoying him to no end as he glared at him, ready to fling one of his knives before you shook your head, once again catching his attention. You gently took the weapon from him, letting it fall to the ground and asked him, your plea disturbed by yourself as you took deep and raspy breathes, to not harm your old friend.

Deciding that you were more important right now, Sebastian glared at the stranger one last time, causing him to freeze up, before aiding you to your room, quietly asking you how long you had been sick and why you hadn’t told him. You only chuckled, telling him that you did not wish to worry him, he had seemed to have much fun with his new contract and even with the friends he made (even if he never called them such in his many letters). Besides, you were strong enough to help yourself and then an old friend visited and offered to take care of you, further diminishing the need to write him about your small troubles. 

Once you were finished your son couldn’t help but scold you gently, voice strict despite his warm eyes. You had always told him to rely on you, and he hoped that you would do the same. He might even start to guilt trip you until you promise to inform him the next time, immediately. 

As soon as you’ve fallen asleep in the freshly made bed, content under the warm covers as you can currently be, Sebastian checks over you once more before leaving the room, focusing on the next problem at hand. The man is still there, patiently waiting and your son can’t help but feel an ounce of what you had taught him was sympathy, seeing as he had not further disturbed you, although his sudden appearance must have come as a shock. There is a small... talk between the both of him, the attempted friendly atmosphere the stranger tried to create by mentioning how you had praised your son in front of him destroyed by Sebastian’s simple command to leave. 

There isn’t even time to exchange names before he is basically thrown out of your home, brought to leave by the dozens of shadows moving threatengly towards him. Afterwards, the demon was quick to repair the damages caused by himself before going on to take care of any work you might have neglected, occasionally checking in on you. As soon as he noticed the telling signs of you soon waking up, a quicker breathing pattern and heartbeat, he began to brew herbal tea and preparing an easy to digest meal. 

Upon you waking up you are presented with all this. You can’t help but praise and thank your son, admiring the way his cooking had improved, even though his behavior before was less than well-behaved and you even let go of the traces of his demonic presence that tell you of what had happened while you were unconscious. You fought back a tired sigh, it seems like that dear friend wouldn’t make an appearance again anytime soon. At least you knew you would be well taken care of for now, even if Sebastian would have to leave soon again. Seeing as there was once again not much time to be spent with him you really couldn’t stay angry as he looked at you, worry clearly swimming in that deep red that had always fascinated you (and was so incredibly adorable that you couldn’t help but pinch his cheek a bit).

You are grateful as you receive his care and once you feel better, which happens quite quickly, you say your goodbyes again, playfully ruffling up his hair as your son informs you of the tea that he has left for you as well as the meals that you will only need to heat up. You can’t help but feel bittersweet as you watch him dash of, the image of his small self still fresh in your mind and now he was old enough and independent, going out into the world and experiencing adventures that you would love to aid him with if ever needed. For now, all you could was give your thanks to those making your son’s life a little more entertaining and colorful.

Ciel adornes a confused look as Sebastian hands him home made cookies. That in itself wasn’t out of the ordinary, however, the following words of it being a gift from his butler’s mother out of all things was enough to shock him into silence. Now, after the demon had left, he currently found himself staring at the small package. It was something that Sebastian had handed him, so it wouldn’t harm him, right? Hesitantly taking a bite he couldn’t help but smile. Maybe if he could get the recipe and sell these sweets his business might boom even more?

Claude was in a hurry. He was moving at a pace he was sure would leave traces, bits and pieces of him being caught up along the way, unable to keep up with his speed which even he was surprised at achieving. But there was no time to think such silly and insignificant thoughts. One of the spiders he had placed in your garden to keep watch (never in your home, he still winced when he remembered your scolding upon doing so) had reported to him. Apparently, you had not left the house in some time now. 

Normally, you were outside on the regular. You took care of the garden, walked around the forest for one reason or another, sat outside to read a book or cleaned up anything you deemed untidy. Regularly you would put out the laundry to dry and he couldn’t help but remember the times he hid between them only to jump out and scare you. You always let out a small scream before laughing and catching him in your arms, your warmth and smell mixing with those of the strung up clothing and flowers and sunshine and even he smiled, even if it was only small and of short time. Now that he thought back on it, your shriek must have been nothing more than your attempt to amuse him, causing him some embarrassment, not that he would express such emotion in any way. But once again, that was nothing he should be thinking about now.

He merely sensed that he was getting closer, his eyes long since not perceiving his surroundings as they simply changed too fast. He came to a screeching halt before your door to your, to his, home. There was an eery silence, one that he was sure he himself was responsible for, no animal daring to make a sound close to his troubled presence. He took a moment longer to listen, noticing the smaller sounds, fur brushing against trees and little tipping sounds as all small life forms were running away, careful and desperate to not catch his attention when he had appeared out of the blue. On the other side of the door he could hear your breathing and the rustling of clothing as you stood up, making your way to him despite him not even having had the chance to knock yet. The pattern was entirely wrong though, you seemed to fight for each puff of air and your movements were slow, sluggish, missing any of the elegance you carried with normally.

Before you could open the door he had already done so, refusing to let you walk any further when you did not feel well. One look only confirmed his suspicions, glassy eyes peering at him, struggling to stay open as some sort of surprise flashed through them at his sudden entrance. Before you could even utter a greeting he had swept you off your feet, quickly carrying you to bed before covering you with one of his many self made blankets before adding some more as he noticed how could this place was. It was clear that you had not made any fire in the chimney, that you had not prepared any of the bitter tea you would usual down at any signs of sickness or taken care off the home. 

Claude simply muttered that he would be taking care of you now as he kept you from pushing off the blankets, a sigh escaping as he gently scolded you for not calling him. He was quick to prepare anything you needed, pressed wet cloths against your heated forehead, forced you to drink the medicine and the potion he had to search for. It had been surprisingly hard to find, maybe you misplaced it or had simply forgotten about it in your fever but now you should finally recover, if only slowly.

Your son was quick to take care of everything in the house before sitting beside your sleeping form, crotcheting something that he was unsure of what it would end up as. It kept his mind from wandering though, the guilt of not noticing your state sooner, of not being there for you, laying heavily on his mind. His latest master, an annoying brat that was more cruel and greedy than the foulest, well, maybe not demon, but close. Claude was lucky he had managed to get some other demons to do the most work though, ignoring the way you tried to push him to befriend them. He did not need friends, he had you and your little, ironic as it may be, paradise.

The more regrettable it was that he had not managed to visit you sooner and he promised to himself to check up on you more often. He could already hear your nagging that he should concentrate more on the contract, especially if he also has his eyes on a second soul but could at the same time feel your hands guiding him to sit down all the same before you would sit across from him, asking him about his time away.

It was then that a knock shocked him out of his thoughts, irritating him. Who would dare to come here? Especially now, that his mother laid weak and defenseless. He could feel anger forming in the pit of his stomach as he smelt some measly human standing were he did only hours before, quietly moving so that this person wouldn’t wake you with another knock.

Claude opened the door just in time, a man with dark hair standing just slightly shorter before him, clearly surprised to see him in the the door frame. So he knew who he was expecting, meaning he knew his mother. What made the situation even more painfully obvious and unfortunate for the daring human was the bouquet of wild flowers he was carrying. It was wrapped up beautifully, truly, and the flowers spread a decently sweet smell, not too much to be sickening but just enough to be noticeable.

It was a shame that you wouldn’t be able to receive them. Claude stood in silence as the guy introduced himself before asking for your whereabouts. The silent glare he sent made the guy take a step back, fumbling with his free hand which looked out of place on the grown adult. He then proceeded to give a try at explaining himself, telling him how you had come to the village some time ago to buy some ingredients and how the two of you had a nice chat and he just wanted to check up on how you were doing.

The lie was so obvious that Claude couldn’t help the sinister chuckle, glowering at the scum that tried so pathetically to court you. The thought that this man might have met you, sick and frail, instead of him made him sick. With how desperate this guy appeared (what else would he be, searching for your home in a big forest after one small chat), he might have even offered to take care of you. Your son might have only been reported that too late and he wouldn’t have been able to prevent it. He didn’t even notice how his appearance began to shift, shadows darkening, stretching and twitching around him as the human stumbles back before taking of running, never getting too far and not even managing to make a simple sound as Claude practiced his effectiveness.

Before you awake your son will leave the house for a while, returning shortly after. You will wake up to a bright arrangement of flowers, the blossoms in full bloom and carefully and delicately arranged, bringing the smell of the forest with them. As you send your son a questioning look, voice still too hoarse to speak, he simply smiles, telling you it’s a small gift he got for you. After you drank something to calm your burning throat you can’t help but praise him, gratefully squeezing his hand and returning his grin with your own.

It doesn’t take long for you to recover from then on and soon you send your son back, knowing how hard he has been working to receive his next meal and not wanting him to lose it. You gently place a kiss to his forehead as goodbye, telling him to take care as he promises to come back again soon. 

Once back Claude tells Alois some lie for his absence, as if he would ever tell him about his mother. With his luck, the kid might start clinging to you and even though you probably wouldn’t mind and would also go as far as to befriend him, you were his mother and Alois was his meal, no need for the both of you to get aquainted. He couldn’t wait for this contract to end and finally return to you for a longer period of time.

Everything with spoilers will go below the cut. Really curious to see what happens here. I more or less either like the whole cast or find them interesting with a few exceptions.

FYI, I've literally never played a Warriors game before. I'm probably picking easy mode.

Ok, but it says that Normal is for beginners. I think I'll just go with Normal. There's a Classic Mode!!! I didn't know they'd include that. Do other Warriors games? I think I may go with Casual, though, because I really have no idea what I'm doing. Going with Slow and Steady too, obviously.

Ok, so SB I'll do Byleth and Shez as males, for GW I'll do both of them as women, and for AG I'll do F!Shez and M!Byleth, and I know in the future I'll do them the opposites to get cut scenes. And I'm just sticking with Shez and Byleth for the names too.

The mercenary captain's a woman! I love it when a character's a woman even though she doesn't have to be in a story instead of everything defaulting to male.

So Jeralt was originally from the Kingdom, right? And Shez's co is from Leicester. So next remake we need the next group to come from the Empire lamo.

I like how this dialogue works. You pick a sentiment, makes me feel like I have more characterization control.

OMG, this screen is chaotic. I have no idea how on earth I'm going to remember all this stuff about criticals and combos and locking onto enemies.

I like how Shez acts like a mercenary, not too broken up by the deaths. It'll be sweet if he gets attached to the Fodlan co, or interesting if he doesn't.

I love how Edelgard wants a chit-chat, but the two with real battle experience (Shez and Dimitri) are like - uh, not right now.

OMG there's too much going on. Now there's unique abilities and I don't even know how to lock onto an enemy yet 😭 low-key glad I'm doing this easy chapters 3 times.

I love how the tradition of Dimitri praising all of the Blue Lions is still in-tact. It's one of the first things I honestly noticed about him, so I'm soooo happy that stayed the same.

LAMO, Sylvain has different dialogue for F!Shez. I'd be disappointed if he didn't.

God, I love how Shez says specifically that Dimitri will be a good king. Dimitri didn't get nearly enough positive stuff said about him from others, especially compared to the other lords.

Third time is a charm doing this. I actually remembered to use combat arts this time!

If I was Shez for real, I'd be torn between Golden Deer or Blue Lions. GD would seem chill and more relaxed, but Dimitri's the one who was always worried about me and trying to help. Edelgard's blatant attempts at recruiting and being like "well, you be getting forced into this, but you'll get to talk to me at least' would've been a major turn off.

I’d really like that (platonic! Ciel x reader x platonic! Alois)

So this is going to be similar and different from the last two I posted because yes it’s platonic, but it’s also aged up. Ciel and Alois are both 24 years old and will act more mature in this fic. Also credit to @idriyato for the picture below of aged up Ciel and Alois!

You had known Alois for a couple of years after attending a banquet with him and you met Ciel not too long after at a separate gathering. You became fast friends with the two Earls despite how different they were. They appreciated the respect that you gave them and also appreciated that you were different from most people they came across, otherwise known as a normal person. You had no ties with demons, angels, witches, reapers, nothing! You were literally an average person that just happened to have money and connections to the right people. They both appreciated this because it added some normalcy into their very chaotic lives, but there’s one thing you don’t know that they wish you did know. That they like you…

Ciel was very confident he could win your heart, but Alois was just as confident, they both believed they could both easily win you over it was just a matter of who you chose first

Ciel would invite you over for tea and compliment your physical and mental attributes

Alois would invite you over for a business meeting and compliment how financially wise and how wonderfully useful you always were no matter the situation

Every now and again Ciel would invite you and Alois to his mansion for dinner and vice versa they like to compete and do it in each others face to see who’s better than who

They compliment your eyes, your face, everything about you so they can see who’s better

Alois had invited you and Ciel one day, Ciel arrived and when you arrived they were surprised to see two kids with you one who looked about 7 and one who looked about 4.

“Hi Alois, hi Ciel, I’m sorry but my s/o couldn’t watch the kids today is it okay if we all eat lunch together?” “Uh, oh sure.”

Lunch was painfully quiet and Alois and Ciel kept exchanging looks until Ciel finally spoke up, “So, Y/N you’re married?”

“Oh yes, but I don’t keep my wedding ring on my left ring finger, but on my middle finger cause it’s an heirloom wedding ring and it’s the only finger it fits on. Did you guys not know I was married.” “No, we didn’t know you had two delightful children either,” Alois said.

“Oh, well you were always talking about work Alois and you were always talking about mind games and new toys for the company Ciel. It just never really came up.”

They both realized they never really asked much about you and mainly talked about themselves or just complimented you.

“I think I can speak for me and Alois when I say, I’m sorry.” “As painful as it is, Ciel is correct. I’m really sorry. We weren’t attentive to you or your life outside of when we saw each other. That wasn’t right of us. I believe that I can speak for me and Ciel when I say that you’re a dear friend to us and we’d like to get know you and your family better, if you’ll allow us to.”

“I’d really like that.”

Even though you were married and had two kids, you’d always have a special place in Alois and in Ciel’s heart. Even if that meant as just a friend, cause as Alois said, you are a dear friend to them (cause your their only normal friend, but you don’t need to know that).

ok so i’m not sure what you character limit is but can you do alois, ciel, sebastian, claude and the reapers fighting over a a modern s/o but they can travel back and fourth anytime they want. Like the s/o can go back to their original world andy time and can come back to the black butler world anytime. Like they can just go in between Thank you and have a nice day! 💕

My character limit is 10. The amount of emojis I had to use here was quite a lot. Alois and Ciel are aged up in here. Since I already did posts about all of them with a modern s/o I would recommend to read that for a better understanding.

And that would be absolute chaos because we have a lot of candidates who simply can’t stand each other. Alois and Ciel, Sebastian and Claude, William and Sebastian, Undertaker and the other grim reapers and even though we never saw Claude and Alois interacting much with the grim reapers there would be a certain tension too.

☕️🐈‍⬛👅🕷🟥😃📒⚰️But on the other hand we have a lot of potential poly relationships as well, different kind of team ups. Ciel and Sebastian, Alois and Claude, William, Grell and Ronald. There’s also the chance that Ciel and Alois will temporarily work together as well as their demon butlers. But these will most likely not last long, main goals from everyone being it to wipe the competition out whilst also making sure that you stay with them.

☕️🐈‍⬛👅🕷🟥😃📒⚰️But what happens if you can travel back and forth by will? That would be a huge problem for them because you can just disappear anytime you want, meaning kidnapping will be not very useful since you could literally every moment vanish into thin air. Not only that, but there’s no guarantee when exactly you will come back, you might not come back at all.

☕️🐈‍⬛👅🕷🟥😃📒⚰️I guess there would be a few candidates who would find this pretty cool. I think about Alois, Grell, Undertaker an Ronald as well, even though the last two see why this can also be a huge problem. They would be the types who would often ask you if you can bring them for a short trip into your world over. Don’t misunderstand, everyone would want to see your world for their own, but these four here are the most eager.

☕️🐈‍⬛👅🕷🟥😃📒⚰️But all will eventually realize how big of a threat this can be if you can control by will when you’re getting transported back or not. Knocking you out or drugging you constantly isn’t an option and bad for your health so that isn’t the way. So everyone will search on their own, or in teams, for a way to rob you from this ability. Sebastian and Ciel might work together with Alois and Claude, the grim reapers Grell, Ronald and William most likely worked from a very early point on “together” and Undertaker has enough trust in himself that he can find a solution on his own.

☕️🐈‍⬛👅🕷🟥😃📒⚰️I can see the chance that if someone finds out how to erase your power they would keep it for themself and convince you into traveling with them to your world only to make sure you won’t be able to travel back again and are stuck with them. Especially for the demons or the grim reapers this would be an advantage because they won’t have to deal with any other creatures like them in your world. There would only be a few exceptions who would prefer it to have you stay in the world where they know how things work. That would be William and possibly Ciel since both of them need to be in control.

☕️🐈‍⬛👅🕷🟥😃📒⚰️If your powers get blocked whilst being in your world, which will most likely be William’s work then be prepared that there will be blood spilled whilst everyone, except William and maybe Ciel, will try to find a way to unlock your powers temporarily to go with the original plan.

not to go off on my niche content bullshit but

tinies in the horizon: zero dawn universe

could have been included in some of the genetic seed material to be released out in the world, either by accident or intentionally but secretly

they’re shoved out into the world with all of the other fauna & flora. they survive. they create their own tribes and civilizations long before the humans ever get out

then the humans come along & it’s a bit chaotic, but the tiny ones ultimately decide to lie low & stay hidden from them, just like they’ve done with all other large organisms

there are rare sightings & encounters, as is pretty much inevitable, which leads to stories among the various human tribes of tiny people. still, their existence is more regarded as myth & tales from fools & dreamers

humans, as their civilizations grow & they adapt to life with machines, provide excellent scavenging opportunities for the tinies. before, tinies had to wait until big machines machines broke down, since they themselves couldn’t kill them. but with humans regularly hunting machines, there are plenty of carcasses for tinies to scavenge! plus all the other resources tinies normally wouldn’t have as easy access to

now, fast forward to aloy’s era

she hasn’t heard any tales about tiny people because she grew up as an outcast & rost just never mentioned the stories

with her focus, though, she can see a lot more than anyone else. she can see little creatures running around in the grass. she sees one little... human sneaking their way towards a watcher carcass

naturally, this is completely wack & has her curious, so she follows from a distance. she can’t see the little one’s features so much as their outline through the undergrowth, but, once they reach the carcass & step into the open, she’s shocked. that really is a whole-ass person, just mini. she can’t help but watch on in fascination as the little one easily & expertly combs the carcass for resources. they can get to things that she can’t reach to due to their size

of course, her curiosity is going to get the better of her, so she’s eventually going to approach & try to greet them. which goes about how you’d expect it to. “ um. hello...? ” gasp! hides. “ um, i can still see you. i know you’re there. ” & all the other nonsense that comes when humans & borrowers meet

it takes a while & some convincing & aloy’s stubbornness ( ie, she’s willing to wait here all night if she has to ) to eventually coax the tiny out. they’re not happy about this at all. they also don’t know how the hell she saw them. their clothing provides incredible camouflage, and they’re an expert scavenger. to be spotted is not only terrifying, but embarrassing

they’re probably gonna run when they see an opportunity, & aloy lets them go, even though she can still see through their hiding spot. it’s fine. she’ll find them again some other time, now that the focus knows their life signature

it definitely takes a few encounters for the tiny to warm up to her, but, once they do, the two make quite the team! they might even travel with her, staying hidden on her person when she’s around others ( the hair is an excellent hiding spot ). they’re uniquely perceptive & knowledgeable of the world & of survival, & they’re immensely helpful when it comes to stripping machines of hard-to-reach resources. plus, no one can stitch a wound quite as well as them

they’re like a miniature older sibling! & they become fiercely protective of aloy & worry over her more than she does them. it’s a weird dynamic but it works

BIO. 

Second born to the throne, Astra lived in her brother’s shadow and wanted for nothing else. The rare days she was not locked with father training, she dragged him to playdates and dress up just happy to spend the day with him. Then mother was ripped out of their lives and their father’s rage only grew. 

Everything came to a crashing end when, during a rare playday, her uncle interrupted their time together dismissing the guards saying he wished to speak to the children alone. Alois had seemed uncertain and agitated, telling Astra to run and hide but not before the blade finished his last words to her. When she awoke with a half ruined throat, she felt the fire of the Ancestral Guardian that was never meant to be hers thirst for vengeance. 

Instead, she pulled in, focused in on lessons, and bought her time before slipping away in the night. Now she journeys around the Sword Coast trying to find a way to take the throne from her father whose anger and cruelty only grows. As for Uncle...

Lionel Heights:  Astra’s father, before the rage overtook him he was a kind man if strict. Now he lusts for nothing but war and agony. 

General Hughes. Her father’s greatest confidant and Astra’s tutor growing up, she loves him like a father.

Hey, hey! I'm going through your tags, and I was just wondering if I could get summaries for Worlds Unseen, Stand Strong, and Clouds and Moonlit Skies verses? I've seen OCs(?) from them referenced a few times and have been confused but would very much like to finish going through a tag before pouncing on the others. Only if you'd like to, of course! Also, who's uhh Sola? She pops up in Nox verse a few times? I think older sister of Noctis but which verse?

Hey! Sure I can summarize:

Worlds Unseen: A FFXV/Horizon Zero Dawn crossover where I take a minor canon character of HZD and yeet them into FFXV pre-plot as a child. Bast (the character) grows up and then lives through the FFXV plot before winding up back in HZD once again de-aged to a child status, this time growing up with Aloy as an outcast. Then HZD’s main plot starts to kick in and Bast sees a lot of similarities and is internally going NOT THIS NONSENSE AGAIN and sets about trying to wreck plot and keep his redhead sister-of-heart alive. It’s up on AO3 and ngl I love it when people read and comment on this thing because I work so hard on it and it gets ... a lot less attention than my straight FFXV aus.

Stand Strong: A FFXV a/b/o au with unconventional dynamics (I think that’s the term). Basically a/b/o without the smut. A world-hopping OC Amissa winds up being raised in Galahd and unintentionally yeeting plot left and right and also dating Cor. There’s a lot of feral dynamics in here and culture clashes between the extremely feral but well-meaning Galahdians and the Regular Society of Lucis. Also Titus is a Galahdian and Amissa’s big brother so no traitor shenanigans here. Not posted on Ao3 yet but I do have a few chaps I’ve been meaning to write more of.

Clouds and Moonlit Skies: Eos is Gaia just a long long time into the future, the Prophecy sucks and it sucks so bad that Minerva agrees to subvert it by throwing her once-champions back into the land of the living. Zack is Noctis, Aerith is Luna, and Cloud is Prompto and EXTREMELY UNHAPPY about being reborn in a lab. There’s also an increasing number of reincarnated ff7 characters who saw Minerva throwing their friends out of the afterlife and went WAIT FOR US and escaped before she could stop them. Very chaotic, not posted on Ao3 yet but I intend to someday.

And finally Sola is an OC belonging to @a-world-in-grey, we just occasionally play in each other’s sandboxes and cross over our aus, which is why you sometimes see Sola cropping up in Nox verse and other AUs.
