to anyone who's pronounfluid and whose pronouns change over time: if people can quite easily call a drag queen by she/her pronouns while she's in drag, and use he/him when he isn't in drag, they can definitely use different pronouns for you depending on what you want them to use at certain times. you are not a burden for your gender expression or identity. it isn't too difficult or too complicated (even if it was complicated you still deserve respect and acceptance btw). you're awesome.

can we have multiple pronouns? or can we be genderfluid?
Hello, this is a great question! ♥️
I personally consider myself to be genderfluid, so it's important for me to be able to choose my own pronouns and even switch whenever. At the moment, I've found some great templates by coders much more talented than I am who've provided code to set your own pronouns, as well as be able to change them anytime from the Settings.
I'm honestly unsure when the option appeared in the Settings to be able to do that, I must have absentmindedly implemented it somehow! I haven't properly tested it yet, but I dearly want it to be able to work so it's configurable at any point!
I might consider adding checkpoints instead so characters can organically react to these changes, but this is a little lower on my priority. For now, I just want a functional way for it to work!
For gender itself, at the moment, I don't plan for the option to outright say your gender, because I think there are far too many identities to encapsulate meaningfully. At best, you'll only get to pick your pronouns and "biology," so to speak.
In the first place, gods don't really have a gender. They don't reproduce sexually, and so it didn't naturally come forth; they merely adopted more conventional pronouns to be more in touch with humans (decreed by the goddess of the gods).
I hope this answers your question, and I'm so happy someone asked because I've been thinking exactly this! Thank you so much ♥️

really like these two excerpts from the article Gita Jackson just published. i find myself worrying about what’ll happen going forward both on the likely harassment of Somerton (dont do it, did you even watch the video? Hbomberguy literally said not to do it). They’re right, the social repercussions are and likely will be plenty enough punishment. getting mad at that dude forever wont be truly productive, much fun as it may be in this moment. the bigger issue is the environment that let him and others thrive.

its okay if you change your name when your gender changes
its okay if you change your pronouns when your gender changes
its okay if you change your pronouns multiple times a day to adapt to your gender changing
its okay if you do the same thing with your name
its okay to be fluid. its okay to be complicated. its okay to be yourself.
and because i know a lot of us feel this way: you are not a burden. ever.
