You know. I have Thoughts now about Olric.

I originally wanted him added as a romance option (as do many others) and I think I changed my mind! I love him and he's amazing and supportive and he likes rocks but what I think so far that I really super love for him? Is how friendly he is and so far (I'm not far) he has zero romance related lines. Like he's not a romance option, but looking at the other NPCs (the innkeeper/wife, the general store owner/wife, the retired socialite who talks about past flings) I think Olric stands out as possibly the only one I can hope for aroace representation.

Let this guy just exist with the most positive vibes ever because he's just a good guy with positive vibes for everyone.

Killer is the only one Nightmare can't track down easily, since he can feel the others by emotion but can't usually sense Killer's unless he's in stage 1.

This is a small part of why he and Color got off on the wrong foot, because the first time Color and Killer met was when he was helping Dream fight them and he managed to pull Killer away from the main fight to try and reason with him. While they were doing that, Nightmare decided to retreat but couldn't see Killer around and couldn't find him using emotions, so he had to leave without him. (He did return later to scour the place and found Killer waiting for him, since he'd refused Color's offer to go with them.)

This became a running theme, where sometimes after a battle Killer would be gone without a trace because he was off fighting/talking with Color and Nightmare would have to come back for him later. It's also what makes Nightmare a little uneasy in present day about Killer running off to hang out with Color sometimes, because if Color succeeds in convincing Killer not to return, Nightmare has no way of tracking him down anymore. He just has to trust that Killer will return at some point, and wait.

Phoenix Tatooine day trip Goes Wrong™️ (X)

This is a little idea where Luke needs something (don’t ask me what) that he can only get on tatooine, so dinluke adventure ensues. The plan is to get there and leave ASAP, but then nostalgia hits and he needs to hit every shop and place he used to as a kid. But you know, “college kids comes back to hometown” syndrome hits and he realizes he’s changed too much. Think of how the holiday season doesn’t feel the same anymore now that you’re an adult, same feeling. AND YES ITS ALSO DUNLUKE BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO KISS AND TALK ABOUT THEIR FEELINGS AND ALSO KISS.

Wrote a scene for PPAU in which Megatron convinces the DJD to accept a peace treaty with the Autobots (that doesn't constitute rebuilding and then stabbing them in the back). And when I was outlining/brainstorming I was like, "okay Megatron is probably going to have to make an example of some DJD member who lashes out and refuses to accept it. There's gonna be a little fucked up cult violence in here"

Except no, that smooth son of a bitch gave the DJD a speech that so effortlessly tied them up in his new peacetime plans that the most opposition he got was a muttered comment by one single member. My man used the brainwashing of nationalism and patriotism to counteract the cult brainwashing. He made a rhetorical appeal so sound that any member of the DJD who tried to argue against the peace treaty would sound like they were opposed to reclaiming Cybertron, their homeland, and ensuring the well-being of their own loyal soldiers. I was like "MEGATRON THERE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MORE CONFLICT IN THIS SCENE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO CHOKE-LIFT A BITCH OR AT LEAST RIP OFF TARN'S MASK AS A DRAMATIC GESTURE OR SOMETHING" and the Megatron in my brain went "hahaha no" and charmed the DJD so thoroughly that there wasn't even a single raised voice. Charismatic son of a bitch

this last post is funny because when i was 5/6 i made up an imaginary society trying to make it as good as possible (<- didnt know the word utopia on account of being 6) (i kept developing it until i was about 10 but never wrote anything) and the KEY part of it was that the community members' lifestyle was loosely organised around guild-equivalents (for all the important arts, aka parts of life, from farming to singing etc) which then became increasingly specific (e.g leatherworkers' guild -> shoemakers / other clothes-makers (collab with other guilds for mixed items) / bigger, housing/collective items / art etc). so while everyone was free (and encouraged) to mingle with others (lots of free community bonding times, festivals, meals, it was a democracy so LOTS of talking all the time to reach an accord, they had a sitting council with members from every guild), technically the closest bonds an individual formed was with their guildmates & mentors

more crucially: children were initially raised by their birth parents but with the involvement of everyone else and they *chose* where to go as they grew up. if your parents were bakers, you could become a potter, or anything else you wanted, because it was an individual choice to be nurtured and encouraged and then they'd be assigned another family in the corresponding guild unless they chose it for themselves first. and they could change and move to a different house any time

anyway part 1 the children dream of bureaucracy part 2 imagine being so abusive a parental unit that your 5 years old looks at you and goes hmmmm in an ideal world families don't exist and i could be allowed to live with someone else 👍
