OLD SONIC DRAWINGS! + BONUS DRAWING (Part 1)

So, I ended up finding more old art of Skyler The Hedgehog (My SonAmy fanchild) and some of other oc's I created at the time involving a bit of her "lore". (And also, have a little bit of Sonic's Characters too!)

I'm going to share with you these little doodles from 2017/2018.

This first one Boom!Sonic is one of my favorites. It's cute, as is Amy's expression test, which wasn't complete......

These two are silly. Mommy!Amy and Daddy!Sonic being the good parents they are taking care of their little hedgehog.

The first image is about the Lore story I originally had for Skyler. She would end up traveling through alternate universes, and on this journey she would end up meeting her alternate "version"... Shadow and Amy's daughter.

It's not a bad idea, however, I prefer to keep this What If separate from Sky's original canon for now!

And the first version of a "concept" I had for her. It's no secret that @e-vay was always a big inspiration for me when I was little to create my own AU! So... You can notice a lot of similarities between Sky from this time and Aurora.

The changes to Sky's current design + the Lore Change is something I felt I had to do, because I've always really appreciated and respected E-Vay's way of creating her AU (I LOVE him with all my heart!!) and I don't feel very good about the idea that the inspiration is going too far (to the point of being a copy).

So the changes have been made and I'm looking forward to exploring every detail of what I have planned!

Last but not least: Chance. She's my Silvaze fankid, who although I couldn't find the rest of my drawings of her, was originally going to be Skyler's partner.

I plan on redesigning her, as well as showing her new siblings and all the lore behind them. 👀

Pine Lake Farewell: Hart, Verse, & DeBateau

Ethan ultimately decided he had had enough of local crime boss Armand DeBateau dictating his life, and he went against him by building up his own underground criminal empire. Armand easily disposed of him by tipping off the local authorities, and Ethan went straight to prison for life. Discovering her fiancé had been leading a secret life of lies all this time, DJ had a major breakdown and cut all ties to him. She took their son, Everett, their two cats, and moved in with her best friend, Zoe Zimmerman.

Everett never saw his father again and had a difficult childhood. But an anonymous donor granted him a full scholarship to university where he found he liked learning and built up a much better life for himself.

As for Ethan, he had a few visits from Kiera in prison. She also attempted to meet Everett, but DJ never allowed it. Ethan claimed to accept his sister’s apology, but could never let go of the bitterness that had shaped his life, and eventually she stopped coming. Ferdy never visited.

Armand DeBateau prospered and was untouchable until his death at a ripe old age, surrounded by wealth untold. His daughter Tara was his sole heir and she lived in quiet privacy, donating most of the fortune through scholarship programs. His criminal organization became a power vacuum and crumbled from the inside, though Jessica Peterson did reasonably well for herself by remaining independent.

alright…….not to be the constant announcer of bad news………but a second FIP cat may have hit the towers.

it’s not contagious, but the virus that causes it is. the feline coronavirus has to independently mutate in every cat in enters in order to become FIP, and there’s a low chance of that happening. but low chances are my speciality this year! they’re shaving Grim’s belly and tapping it now to see if it’s straw-coloured fluid making it so round and tight, or whether shes just a gassy granny again. if they can’t find fluid, the next step is a blood test to see if her globulin values indicate FIP. if that’s negative then……we all just chill and take a deep breath, and no cats ever get sick again!

So on the weekend I went to an art fair thing. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular when something caught my eye.

I stopped.

I stared.

“Huh. That looks a lot like Dave.”

It is not uncommon for cat art to look like Dave. In fact, most cat art looks like Dave. This painting was Different though.

“Can I see Dave?” The artist asks.

Not one to pass up an opportunity to share a Dave photo, I show her this:

“Oh wow.” she says.

“Yep.”

I got the painting.

i don't have coherent thoughts about it much less words but god just. kristen applebees realizes she's being attacked from within by kalina, and what does she do? her girlfriend just disappeared, she and riz are on their own, they haven't found the last ingredient they need to make the tincture to heal the shadow cat plague, and said plague is now manifesting enough to kill kristen from the inside, and kristen...doesn't save herself. she casts her one greater restoration on riz. she trusts her friend. kristen "crisis of faith" applebees, who spends the entire first half of high school with no idea what she believes in, finds herself dying from an unseen assailant and chooses, without a second's hesitation, to put her faith - and her life - in the hands of her friends. because sure, kristen may be a devout young woman, but she knows better than most that gods are just people with tremendous power. and you know what? her friends are people with tremendous power, too. and they care about her without exception, without doubt. so when the chips are down, kristen believes in her friends. not knowing how they'll come through, but always knowing that they will.
