Fooduary Day 4: Mixed Berry Tart

Tarts are an old, old, old kind of food. However it wasn’t until the invention of enriched dough (shortcrust) in the 1550s that the pastry outside (previously called coffin because it was effectively a box-plate for the edible center) was meant to be eaten with the filling. With this one it's more about the colors being a mixed berry palette than something more literal like some of the others but this is supposed to be a for fun challenge so I'm not sweating over it. Maybe the others are too cheesy?

Super Sons Comic Challenge!!!

1. So, Lizzie's teacher just called, care to guess what it was about?

2. Geeze teachers have no boundaries these days, it's like 6 o'clock, doesn't she have a life? What could she possibly even have to say at this hour? Did we forget to sign her reading chart or something? So annoying.

3. I don't know Jon, I feel like Ms. Hendricks probably does have better things to do. Too bad you forgot to pick Lizzie up from school... She's still there!!!

Once again, no one suggests something really catching for me. So once again I used the suggestions just as a brainstorm and took the opportunity to draw some that I have wanted to draw for a long time.

Well, since the game came out, the fandom has been very repulsive, and it was obviously a repellent fandom. Now it seems that the fandom is almost dead, so I took advantage of that to draw this ship. It's very cute, but I refused to contribute a single fanart for reasons already mentioned. So enjoy it cause I might not draw it again.

I love these two, although I never got motivated to draw them. Jack was one of my first childhood crushes, and he brought me a lot of nostalgia when drawing them :3

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert / Hugo Weaving as Anthony "Tick" Belrose (Mitzi Del Bra)

In a movie full of flamboyant costumes, this minidress adorned with pink and orange flip-flops definitely stands out for its original materials. It's got a definite 1960s vibe, between the length, the colors, and the "pop art" feel to it. Accessories include matching earrings, knee-high "gladiator" sandals, a cotton-candy-pink wig, and many large rings.

This was the first movie I ever saw Hugo Weaving in, so he wasn't cemented as "Agent Smith" in my mind, as he seems to have been for those who first encountered him in The Matrix. Consequently, I had no trouble shifting to viewing him as Elrond in the LOTR movies.
