BNHA Chapter 425 - Thoughts
So I guess Hori did decide to just skip the end of the battle, my hospital academia and go straight to UA graduation?
It was teased back in Ch 360, so yeah it needed to happen and it seems like drawing Neijire is a special happy place for Hori (also the sketch he couldn't even wait until Sunday to drop, lol)
Tumblr media
Mic DJ-ing right after ShiraGiri's death is sort of odd, but on top of the gags, there are some more serious moments.
Tumblr media
What stood out to me was Mirio's comment about how the heroes' fight "is always for the sake of returning the negatives to zero on the whole." It reminded me of Ch 341 - The Story of how We All Became Heroes Minus ① which featured Touya, Toga, Spinner and of course Tomura suffering the transformation. So I can't help but feel it's related to the LoV's fate.
Tumblr media
The class is together 😭 crying like a proud parent (whose tumblr handle just became obsolete).... and Aizawa is staying. Yay. After 400+ chapters they made it to second year!!!
Tumblr media
Bakugou omg, out of the hospital in a tie which he somehow tied with one hand, being calm... (it's still odd to the others? - but I guess his apology happened like 3 weeks ago in-verse). It seems like he might end up with a scar, just like Izuku (and it's a bit like Kudou's, of course).
Tumblr media
Aoyama leaving - I talked about this in one of the asks, but for me it's ok that it's his choice being respected and that the class clearly would be happy to have him stay. Though I wonder if his parents are just suddenly given amnesty for being "AFO's victims" and what that may mean for other villains.
Tumblr media
Shinsou joins Class A long at last. Yay! Is he going to get Aoyama's room or join the 5th floor boys? I do wonder if the kids are still in the dorms even.
Tumblr media
The Fuwa-stans are getting fed. But Class 2-A (can't get used to this...) will take a year long field trip around Japan. Reminds me of the 100 million tour newpaper sketches.
I liked Shoto mentioning AFO - how he was born in an era of turmoil (which I read as him saying that preventing the rise of such villains is now). It also seems to contradict what All Might said last chapter about Deku already being the greatest hero to everyone.
Tumblr media
But also Shouto speaks. Normal speech bubbles. Has a normal voice! Yay! (still don't get it why he didn't speak in Ch 422 though)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku looks troubled. Either because of what Shouto said or because of Fuwa senpai's comments about needing to experience a sudden death to understand why you'd want to be a hero. He certainly is not ready to run celebratory circles.
Tumblr media
Watch them all walk together (TDBK covered by Iida's speech bubble, but I recognize them from Shouto's messenger bag and Katsuki's loose pants)
Tumblr media
OMG, these guys are a total disaster. I don't know what Deku wanted to say, but Ochako obviously shut him down (and thought it was about her "let him rest" speech which apparently the class keeps teasing her for). Also Hori is using her to explain Deku's haircut.
And here, she looks weirdly happy compared to last time, but it could be just a front...
Tumblr media
poor Deku though... he thinks she hates his haircut
Tumblr media
No idea who the new guy is, but looks like someone escaped / let loose from a medical facility. Could be regenerated Tenko I guess or someone similar to him who can be saved by Deku this time. I prefer it to be the real Tenko because I want to see Tenko Rising. I think he looks too young to be Deku's dad tbh.
Tumblr media
TDDK scene !!! Yay!!! (I wonder if Deku tries to talk both to Ochako and Shouto because of his feelings about Tenko... I really badly want a saviour squad scene)
Todoroki looks hopeful but not sure if it's genuine (it could be putting on a front to stop Izuku from worrying). But his foot is like when he went to see his mom the first time, so I tend to read that right now as a good sign.
Tumblr media
"っし" (?????) - there is definitely a shift of emotion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Endeavor is sitting in front of a giant tank / or secure room window. (?) (Probably the same window Shouto was looking in last chapter.
From the context and framing it's clear that it's Touya. For now alive. Endeavor is finally keeping his promise and is watching.
And the editorial blurb also suggests we may get Hellish Todoroki Family 3 after the two weeks break. I'm very worried, but also since we are strapping in for a longer epilogue it seems, I don't expect things to go smoothly for them just yet.

how i think mbav characters would react to you asking for their pronouns:
"I use she/her, thanks for asking." She's the only normal one here.
Tumblr media
~
"Well, I'm Jesse, and I go by-" bites your fucking neck
Tumblr media
~
"Uhhhh, she- they- he/him! he/him."
(it's not even that he's in the closet okay he might be but that's not why it's just that he's socially awkward enough to accidentally misgender himself. pronoun circles are hell for him bc his first instinct is to treat it like ice breakers and copy the person before him. one time he got called they/them for like a week because he made the mistake of replying on autopilot. eventually he corrected everyone but the entire time he was like "I sure hope this doesn't awaken anything in me.")
Tumblr media
~
"My pronouns? 519-341-7831. You'll probably have to write them down to remember them, eh?"
(he's deeper in the closet than those fucking kids in Narnia. gayass screencap courtesy of @bettyweir)

you'll never know. you don't even have the balls to approach her.

he responds with anyone of his self-appointed nicknames. if you ask again he'll go "OHHHH. you can call me ~" and then just names another one off the list. No one knows how to refer to Rory and that's the way he likes it ("vampire ninja will not be perceived"). It also gets people to start using his nicknames, which is a plus. gender euphoria unlocked via being a dumb blond menace.

"She/her. Why? Are you Ethan's friend? Are you gay? Is he gay?"

"How do I know you're not going to use this information to hex me?"

BONUS:
(does not know what pronouns are) "oh, it's pronounced stuh-KOW-skee. with a 'K' sound, not a 'Ch' sound. then it'd be stuh chow skee, and chow is for puppies, and i'm not a puppy, I'm a dog- well, i'm not actually a dog. But if I were, I'd be a dog. like an adult dog. well not like an adult person that's also a dog, but a dog that's grown up. but not like a super big one either that makes you say 'is that a dog fully a dog?' I'd just be like, a man dog. a dog man. wait, that's not what i-"

They didn’t speak of that night.
Not really.
Eva had tried. She had stood before them, her hands trembling, her voice thin and fragile like glass about to shatter. "I didn’t mean to—"
Logan had cut her off before she could finish.
“Everybody has nightmares, kid. No big deal.” His tone was casual, offhand, but there was something forced about the way he said it, like he was trying too hard to make it sound like the truth.
Charles had only given her a gentle, knowing look. He had nodded slightly, his expression calm, almost unreadable, but there was an understanding there—an acknowledgment of something neither of them wanted to put into words.
So she let it go.
Or at least, she told herself she did.
There were more pressing things to focus on.
Training had taken a shift. It was no longer about simply controlling her powers—it was about understanding them, understanding herself. Logan had pushed her toward a terrifying idea: feeling everything. Not hiding, not suppressing, but embracing.
It was the hardest thing Eva had ever done.
Healing had turned out to be the easiest to manage, surprisingly. When she had first started, every touch had felt like it was stripping her away, tearing parts of herself apart for the sake of someone else. But something had changed. The more she valued her own life, the less painful the process became. It was still exhausting, still drained her in a way that left her shaking, but the fear? The fear had started to fade.
Force repulsion, however, was a different beast entirely.
That power was raw, unhinged, and tied too deeply to memories she couldn’t control. Every time she tried to use it, her mind was flooded with the faces of those she had hurt—those she had failed to save.
The ghosts never left her alone.
And Logan saw it.
During one of their training sessions, she collapsed, right as he was charging toward her. Her knees buckled, and before he could stop himself, he caught her. She was shaking, her breath shallow, her eyes unfocused. It was then, as he held her against him, that he truly understood.
She was fighting something far bigger than her own abilities.
She was fighting her past.
And if she didn’t face it, she would never be able to move forward.
But saying it was one thing. Actually doing it? That was something else entirely.
Later that evening, they sat beneath their favorite tree. Eva was drained, physically and emotionally. Her body was curled into itself, her arms wrapped around her knees, and she looked so small. So fragile. It made something inside Logan twist in a way he wasn’t used to.
He exhaled, rubbing a hand across his jaw before breaking the silence.
“I lost my memories,” he admitted, his voice quieter than usual.
Eva didn’t react at first, but he knew she was listening.
He leaned back against the tree, staring at the darkening sky. “Didn’t know who I was. Where I came from. I woke up one day, and that was it. No past. Just instincts and nightmares.” He let out a humorless chuckle. “Ain’t exactly the best way to live.”
She shifted slightly, watching him now. He saw the curiosity in her eyes, the way she clung to every word.
He sighed. “For a long time, I was just... angry. At the world, at myself. Didn’t trust anyone. Didn’t think I deserved to.” He glanced at her then, holding her gaze. “I know what it’s like to be lost, Eva.”
She swallowed hard. “How... how did you stop being angry?”
Logan huffed out a short breath. “Didn’t. Not completely. But I found people who made me want to be better.” He looked away. “Took me longer than it should’ve, but I got there.”
She was quiet for a long time. Then, finally, in a voice barely above a whisper, she asked, “Do you think I can?”
Logan didn’t hesitate. “Yeah, kid. I do.”
She looked away, blinking rapidly, but he didn’t push. He just sat there, letting the silence stretch between them.
Months ago, if someone had told him he’d be sitting here, pouring his damn heart out, he would’ve laughed in their face.
Back then, he had been angry.
At her. At himself. At the way she reminded him of things he didn’t want to face.
Now?
Now he couldn’t imagine a day without their talks, their walks, their late-night training sessions. He had come to rely on the quiet moments, the way she tilted her head when she was trying to understand something, the way her lips curled ever so slightly when she was proud of herself but too shy to say it.
And God help him, but he actually enjoyed it when she read to him.
He had watched her grow in ways he never expected. She had gone from hesitating over basic words to reading full novels. Just last night, she had stumbled through the opening chapters of The Hobbit, her voice soft but determined. She still struggled with certain words, but damn if she didn’t try. And Logan?
Logan was proud.
He wouldn’t say it out loud, of course. But he figured she knew.
---
The lake was still, barely a ripple breaking the dark glass of its surface. A breeze rolled through the trees, stirring the air between them. The school was in the distance, warm light spilling from the windows, laughter echoing from somewhere. Life went on. But here, by the water, everything felt quiet.
Logan leaned back against their usual tree, boots stretched out in front of him, arms resting loosely on his knees. A cigar sat unlit between his fingers, turning absently as he stared at the lake.
“The past’s a helluva thing,” he muttered, voice rough with thought. “Mostly ‘cause you can’t do a damn thing to change it.”
He could feel Eva watching him, but he kept his eyes on the water.
“Every mistake, every screw-up… it sticks. Doesn’t matter how far ya run, how much ya try to bury it—comes back anyway.” He let out a slow breath through his nose. “It gets in your head. Makes ya think you don’t deserve a shot at something better.”
He wasn’t sure why he was saying all this. Maybe ‘cause he knew what was goin’ through her head. Maybe ‘cause he saw that same look in her eyes—the one he’d seen in his own reflection more times than he cared to count.
“There’s still nights I can’t sleep,” he admitted, rolling the cigar between his fingers. “Close my eyes, and I see ‘em. The ones I couldn’t save.”
He finally turned to look at her.
Her face was open, unguarded in a way he rarely saw. Eyes wide, mouth parted just a little—like she couldn’t believe he of all people had regrets like that.
“I still see the blood sometimes,” he continued. “Even when it ain’t there.”
His jaw tightened, fingers flexing against his knee. “But this—” he gestured vaguely between them “—what you’re feelin’? That ain’t you. That’s what they did to you. That’s them, tryin’ to turn you into something you ain’t.” He met her eyes. “And the fact that you’re sittin’ here, strugglin’ with it? Means they lost.”
Her lips parted, but no words came out.
She looked different like this. Not a fighter. Not a weapon. Just… her. Soft in a way she probably didn’t even realize.
“How do you forget it?” she asked. Her voice was quiet, uncertain.
Logan exhaled through his nose. “You don’t.”
She huffed, looking away. He smirked a little at that.
“You just learn to live with it,” he said. “Find a reason to keep goin’. Something—someone—that makes it worth it.”
She was quiet for a long time, picking at the sleeve of his jacket. He glanced down at her hands—small, fidgeting, always lookin’ for something to hold onto.
Then, real soft, she whispered, “I was five.”
Logan stilled.
“At least, I think I was,” she went on. “I don’t remember much. Just flashes.”
Her voice was steady, but he could hear the weight in it. Like she was dragging the words up from a place she didn’t wanna go.
“My parents were drunk. Always.” She let out a shaky breath. “They weren’t kind.”
Logan said nothing, just let her talk.
“I learned how to hide. Closets, under the bed. Didn’t matter, as long as they didn’t find me.” She shook her head, her fingers tightening in his sleeve. “I don’t think I have a single good memory of them.”
She swallowed, gathering herself.
“I remember when my powers first showed up.” A humorless laugh slipped out. “Healing. Maybe that’s why it feels the most natural.”
She hesitated, then, softer, “My father cut himself. A broken bottle.” Her breath hitched. “I touched him. And it… fixed itself. Just like that.”
She was silent for a beat.
“First thing they did was punish me for it.”
Logan’s fingers curled into a fist, his knuckles cracking.
“I didn’t understand,” she said. “I thought I was helping.” Her voice was breaking now. “I promised myself I would never hurt anyone like they did.” Her breath wavered. “And yet—”
“You haven’t.”
Her head snapped up, startled.
Logan met her eyes, his voice low, steady. “You haven’t hurt anyone, Eva.”
Her throat bobbed as she swallowed hard.
His hand moved on instinct, rough fingers brushing against her cheek, wiping away the tear she hadn’t realized had fallen.
“You ain’t a weapon,” he said. “You ain’t a monster. You’re just you.” His voice softened. “And you? You’re one of the best damn people I know.”
Her lip trembled. And then—
She broke.
Tears came fast, silent at first, then shaking sobs that wracked through her. Logan barely had time to react before she was clinging to him, fingers clutching at his jacket like he was the only thing keeping her from falling apart.
So he let her.
Didn’t say anything, didn’t pull away. Just wrapped his arms around her and held on.
For the first time in years—maybe her whole damn life—she let herself cry. Truly cry.
---
“Shopping?”
Eva blinked at them, her tone betraying her confusion.
Jean and Storm stood in her doorway, looking at her like they were waiting for an answer she wasn’t sure she had. Shopping. The word felt foreign in her mouth. It wasn’t something she had ever done, let alone thought about.
Logan had left earlier that morning on a short mission, promising he’d be back in a couple of days. “I’ll bring ya somethin’,” he’d said offhandedly. She had tilted her head, considering it for a moment, then mumbled, “Something sweet?”
He had laughed—this deep, unguarded sound that startled her so much she had just stared at him. He had never laughed like that around her before. But that moment had stayed with her, warming her in ways she didn’t quite understand.
She’d spent the past two days keeping herself busy, absorbing everything she could. Charles and Hank had helped her understand more about her abilities, though controlling them still felt like trying to hold onto smoke. She’d also started learning simple things—history, biology. Things the others had grown up knowing, things she had been denied.
She wasn’t bored. But she missed Logan.
And now… shopping?
Storm raised a perfectly arched brow at her reaction. “Yes, shopping.”
Jean grinned, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. “You’ve been putting on some healthy weight lately, which is good. But some of us”—she gave a pointed look, making Eva frown in suspicion—“think you need clothes that actually fit.”
Eva glanced down at herself—an oversized shirt and sweatpants that she had never questioned. They were comfortable, soft, and far better than anything she had worn before. But now that she really looked at them, she realized they didn’t quite belong to her. Not really.
“I’ve never been shopping,” she admitted after a beat, lowering her gaze. “And I… I don’t have any money.”
Jean waved a hand dismissively. “That’s taken care of.”
Eva frowned, uncomfortable with the idea of taking something she hadn’t earned. But before she could say anything, Jean sat beside her, her voice softening.
“Shopping isn’t just about buying things—it’s about the experience. About spending time with your friends.”
That word.
Eva hesitated. “Friends?”
Storm leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, a knowing look in her sharp eyes. “I heard you’ve been talking with Rogue and Bobby more lately.”
Eva shifted, thinking about the handful of conversations she had shared with them. Rogue had been the first to approach her, easygoing and unafraid, talking about the simplest things—music, movies, classes. Bobby had followed suit, cracking jokes, his energy light and infectious. She had liked listening to them.
But did that make them… friends?
“Does that mean they’re my friends?” she asked, brows furrowed in thought.
Jean and Storm exchanged a look—one of those silent conversations that she had yet to fully understand. Then, Jean smiled, wrapping an arm around Eva’s shoulders.
“Well, we’re your friends, aren’t we?”
Eva’s breath hitched slightly. She searched their faces for any hint of insincerity, but there was none. Only warmth.
“I am?”
Storm’s expression softened. “Of course you are.”
Eva’s fingers curled around the hem of her shirt, gripping it like she was trying to ground herself. The word settled somewhere deep in her chest, unfamiliar but… nice. Friends.
She nodded slowly. “Okay… I want to try shopping.”
Jean beamed, clearly pleased, while Storm’s lips curled into a proud smile.
“Good,” Jean said, standing. “But if it gets too overwhelming, just say the word, and we’ll stop. No pressure.”
“There will be a lot of people,” Storm added gently. “It’s normal to feel nervous.”
Eva nodded, a small but growing excitement flickering in her eyes. There was something new in the way she held herself—curiosity. A spark of something Storm had only ever seen when handing her a new book.
Maybe Logan was right.
This might actually be good for her.

You Only Feel it When It’s Lost (teaser)
Tumblr media
BKDK AU that takes place shortly after the events of Ch. 341. Check back here next week for a full post <3 Comments are welcome & encouraged.
The thunderous waves crashing onto the rocky shore nearly drown out the music blasting inside the cabin. The only sign that the party was still going strong came from the heavy thrum of the bass igniting a pleasant hum through the floorboards.
Katsuki closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in through his nose and holds it for a few beats before blowing out through his mouth steadily. He wracks his brain for any other tactic he can employ to steady the relentless drum beat emanating from deep within his chest.
As he opens his eyes slowly, he focused on the bright forms of white light dancing across the water as far as his eyes can see, reflecting the dazzling full moon overhead. He looks down at his shaking hands, only then realizing he forgot his gloves inside. Oh well, he thought, at least I got out of there.
Katsuki wasn’t prepared to see Izuku for the next few weeks, let alone only a few days after he inadvertently broke Katsuki’s heart. He instantly felt his nerves skyrocket when his childhood friend casually waltzed in through the front door looking as charming as ever in dark jeans and a deep brown winter sweater, cheeks flushed around a warm and infectious smile.
Red eyes quickly darted down as Katsuki realized the teacher’s gaze moving towards him; shamefully unable to meet those green eyes just yet. That’s when Katsuki noticed Uraraka tightly wrapped around Izuku’s left arm, a matching warm smile gracing her rosy cheeks.
The moment that information registered in Katsuki’s sober mind, he felt like he was out of his body, watching himself from above. So, in lieu of spilling the contents of his lunch on the charcuterie board perfectly displayed in front of him, Katsuki turned and opened the door to the balcony.
He desperately needed the space, and perhaps the fresh air would help clear his mind from all the pain that comes with anguish of the heart. At least he could place it now, after years of living on auto-pilot and ignoring all the obvious warning signs for the sake of their friendship, the emotion he feels is heartache.
Naturally, he would much rather converse with the stars than face the man who crushed his heart without even realizing it.

Looking back on MHA volumes of the 1st War, and caught more Advisor details! For one, Hose Face is shown in silhouette right behind Amplivolt during the latter's debut, BUT more importantly, during Edgeshot kicking Amplivolt's ass, you can see Hose Face up in the corner, just dodging out of the way XD IDK why but it's hilarious to see a bulky fack like him just leap outta the way. Also, on closer inspection, by Edgeshot's line, Bindi seems to skirt to a halt just before getting hit?
Re: the silhouette, oh, so he is!  I had never noticed him there!
Tumblr media
I feel like I had noticed him in the Edgeshot…shot and didn’t pay much attention because I was more concerned with eyeballing Big Sis Bindi—who indeed, as you say, seems to juuuuust escape impact.
Tumblr media
For the readers at home, note how Edgeshot is clearly penetrating through everyone else in this shot, while Hose Face just manages to jump clear and Big Sis Bindi has an impact effect drawn to her right side, as if she's either come to a sharp stop or used a quirk of some sort to protect herself.
I wrote aaaaages ago in Nimble's section of The Headcanon Post on the PLF Advisors[1] that she and Big Sis Bindi were trying to shepherd a group of villa escapees without getting caught by Heroes or Big Sis overexerting herself on a punctured lung. At the time, it was a gamble I was taking based on seeing her here but not in the shot of captured advisors, and I was very vindicated to see her turn up in a later shot of escaped advisors in one of those "Heroes talk about the dangers they're facing" scenes. Feels like somewhere in that time span I maybe took the closer look at this panel and noted that impact skid, but I've forgotten whether I ever talked about it here or just in chat with friends.
...Vindicating to see her turn up, I said, but then of course she went on to show up in zero places I've ever managed to spot in the endgame, much like how Brand is just...ridiculously all over the place, only to, like Bindi, never be shown in a proper fight or getting captured at all.
Eight different chapter appearances over the course of the manga! Eight! And still six if you count only individual different scenes![2] Scarecrow's the clear winner in terms of chapter appearances, but Brand's otherwise right up there with Hose Face, and has rather more than Big Sis Bindi or Nimble. And yet - nothing, give or take the hilarity of the anime showing Wrong Palette Brand getting captured.
[Insert your desired length of rant complaining about the PLF getting shafted here.]
That aside, it is funny that Hose Face can be kind of a twinkle-toes despite how bulky he is. Or maybe he just rolled super well on that Dexterity check.
Thanks for the ask as always, @shockersalvage!
----
1: Here for the curious, though note this was written almost four years ago, so there are some bits that have been nixed by canon at this point. Not as many as you'd think, though, which I suppose is the thin silver lining of the author resolutely ignoring virtually all of these people.
2: The initial advisor spread (Chapter 258), in the big group charge out of the villa (Ch. 263), a shot of PLF folks presumably following Gigantomachia (first shown in Ch. 283), that same panel being referenced later as Villa escapees (Ch. 296), a shot of threats to be faced in the upcoming second war (Ch. 335), converging on Gigantomachia's prison in the ruins of Jakku - a weird choice, since he won't be allowed to stay there (Ch. 341), and finally twice across two different chapters as part of the army All For One warps in, with the latter being his only scene with speaking lines (Ch. 343 and 345).

Is Shuichi the mastermind of V3?
I've had a few thoughts about four chapters and Shuichi's involvement in them.
FIRST CHAPTER So, the first case had an unreliable narrator as Kaede. While playing the game for the first time, Shuichi felt like a really good and reliable guy to me but after analyzing the game again and looking at other people's theories, I think Shuichi might be strongly connected to the mastermind to the point of being one. A detail that strucks out about Shuichi is his parents being an actor and a screenwriter. This is important considering the game's ending. I believe it means there's a possibility of him having good acting skills and feeling comfortable being a character in a "fictional" world. In the first chapter, Shuichi had quite a few opportunities to notice what Kaede has been up to.
He leaves her around shotput balls, soon-to-become murder weapons.
He had an opportunity to see that the books were put in a very strange fashion.
Clearly, he withheld information about the cameras from everyone including Kaede for no obvious reason.
It is very possible he messed the cameras up in some way (https://www.tumblr.com/fit-artichoke8738/649993708004130816/problems-with-the-library-cameras-drv3-ch-1).
SECOND CHAPTER The most suspicious thing about the second chapter was the way Ryoma died. I suppose there's no arguments against Kirumi being the killer but did she kill Ryoma the way Shuichi said she did? https://youtu.be/HXuq50Bt6PE?t=341 - Monosuke here even touches on the topic of the cause of death although in the usual wacky way. Monosuke has a "slip-up" in which he says it was practically impossible to put the body in the piranha tank - you had to lean through the window and that would count as breaking the rules. All that when other characters emphasize that the trick would work only if someone carefully put the body in the piranha tank. Ryoma had a crack on his skull. Could Kirumi have killed him with one blow and leave his body without any other manipulations, and then someone decided to make things more interesting? Perhaps, to give Shuichi another chance to shine as a detective?
THIRD CHAPTER Korekiyo's behavior during the third trial was a bit suspicious. Korekiyo acted as if he didn't remember killing Angie or perhaps didn't do it at all. He was ready to prove his innocence till his dead sister persona told him to "admit defeat", otherwise he would probably try to defend himself further - and that's already after the Closing Argument! But he wasn't really nervous nor did he put much of a fight when the students suspected him in killing Tenko. You can say he simply realized he isn't going to be executed for this but obviously killing Tenko would make him the prime suspect in Angie's murder, especially if he knew he used the same floorboard to kill both of the girls. I think another thing a lot of people already noticed is that Korekiyo only asks about what would happen if there are two blackened after the second murder already happened. and he does it in front of everyone. And he doesn't even get the answer at that moment because Monokubs (seemingly) didn't expect this to happen at all - this to me outrules the possibility Kiyo asked about this before. Korekiyo also is the first one to say "We should investigate Tenko's death as well, just in case" after it's revealed only the Angie's killer is the blackened, basically asking to be outed as her murderer and possibly appreciated as one, with his genius seesaw trick and all. Before the Closing Argument, Shuichi says, "Kiyo..I want you to confess! No…I will force you to confess!". Sounds strange if we consider the possibility Kiyo might not have anything else to confess for.
FOURTH CHAPTER The 4th chapter… something tells me Shuichi had a hand in Miu's murder. One of the most suspicious things is how Kaito was the last to appear when everyone's logged out. He said, "What's this all about!? What was that body discovery announce-" when there was no body discovery announcement. It is EXTREMELY suspicious that he knew someone was dead beforehand. He even goes on to repeat that obvious lie, saying "when that body discovery announcement woke me up, I rushed over here". For some reason, Shuichi doesn't question this one. After Shuichi said he was going to reveal the culprit, Kokichi says, "Even if the culprit is Kaito?". Is Kaito the culprit?
@fit-artichoke8738 theorized about the possibility of Body Swapping (https://www.tumblr.com/fit-artichoke8738/648228491354144768/body-swapping-in-the-virtual-world-drv3-ch4). As far as I recall, Miu didn't specify at the beginning that you can log out as anyone, so that makes not mentioning that you can log in as anyone less improbable. https://youtu.be/LVrHupB88y4?t=2880 - In this sequence (Gonta bringing the bridge), we see events not only through Shuichi's perspective, something that the game didn't do very often. What was the reason for that? During the trial, Kokichi was quite angry at Gonta, pressuring him to make solid arguments to defend himself. Some people say Kokichi just wanted to kill everyone after he had the card key and saw what the "real world" was like. But he also said (in yellow, mind you) that he wants to live with his super angry sprite. If this line was genuine, then why would he pressure Gonta to defend himself so much? Perhaps because Kokichi thought that Gonta might not actually be the culprit?
This first line came after Miu explained everything. Isn't Gonta smart enough to at least listen to what Miu just told everyone? Maybe I'm wrong but this bit feels like someone putting on an act. The second line - and then again, Gonta questioned something that was explained a few seconds ago.

So these chapters have these questionable moments that make me think Shuichi has something to do with the game's mastermind if he isn't one to begin with.

Chapter 6 of my slow burn, domestic, fluffy post-341 fic is up!
In this chapter: cakes, heart to hearts... and maybe some admissions?
Summary:
UA is closing the dorms for a last minute refurbishment over Winter Break - including the teacher's apartments, where Izuku lives. Katsuki just so happens to have an empty guest room and a cute cat ready to welcome Izuku. This is a fic about falling in love, but its also about friendship, and learning to appreciate those who love us. If in the process these adorable idiots manage to get together, all the better. Every one of these characters is precious to me and I've done my very best to treat them all with love and care. Fully written - posting twice weekly. Preview: It was a sudden decision on UA’s part, but Izuku understood. The first set of dorms had been built in a bit of a rush and, while UA may have spared no expense, they had mainly designed them to meet the needs of… well, of Izuku and his classmates, frankly. But that had been over a decade ago now, and life went on. It was only fair that they should have updated dorms suited to their needs.   [Text from: Kacchan] need a place to stay? guest room’s empty
