Castlevania AU where everything is the same except Hector's little zombie pug Cezar survives the attack on the castle in season one. Alucard finds him in Hector's forge all alone and proceeds to look after him, and the two of them bond, and Alucard isn't all alone in his big childhood home. Cezar's favourite chew toy is the Trevor doll. He keeps carrying it around in his mouth by the crotch. Alucard finds it hilarious.

Rook stopping to pet every single dog and cat they see in the street and when questioned why they say it’s because they miss their dog they had to leave back at the Necropolis when they left with Varric. When they finally get a chance to return Rook decides to bring back some of the stuff they couldn’t bring with them the first time including their pet. Everyone’s so excited to see Rook’s puppy only for it to turn out to be this fuckin thing

Rook treats their puppy like the most precious thing in the world. Everyone else but Emmrich is a little too afraid to comment about the scary dead dog as Rook is busy baby talking the thing and giving it a million, billion kisses.

Castlevania Men When Their S/O Has a Nightmare

Trevor Belmont

Is the type to casually wrap an arm around you and pull you back into bed with him. He’s still half asleep, but he will cuddle you and let you relax, asking you if a beer would help. When you smack him, he knows you’re okay and not having a full on break down

If it’s serious though, the kind that leads to a panic attack, he will be alert and wide awake immediately, ready to help you. He will take your hands in his, his thumbs rubbing the back of your hands, and he makes you look him in the eyes. He will tell you you need to breathe, and to copy him; breathe in through your nose, and out of your mouth. Once you’ve calmed down to at least semi normal breathing, he’ll tug you into his chest and hug you tightly, playing with your hair as he lets you bury his face into his chest

He may be a little awkward about getting real and talking about his feelings, but if you want to tell him about your nightmare, he’s all ears. He’ll stare at the ceiling and rub your back or play with your hair mindlessly as you talk, and he lets you rant if it gets to that. Will joke and say he’ll slay all your demons for you, earning a small laugh from you before you’re all “No but seriously-“

Immediately wakes up, thinking something is endangering you. Once he scans the room and realizes there’s nothing threatening you, he’ll turn to you to figure out what is happening. Once he realizes you had a nightmare, he’ll go from protective mode to soft mode in the blink of an eye. Asks if he can hold you, and you answer him by clinging onto him, burying your face in the crook of his neck. He hugs you, rubbing your back and even singing you a lullaby his mother used to sing to him as a boy

Would be honored if you opened up to him about your nightmare. He wants to know your every fear so that he can protect you from them, no matter how great or small you may think they are. If you ever try to write it off and tell him he’s been through worse, he’ll shut that down immediately. Your fears are valid too, he doesn’t care if you think little of them. To him, anything that frightens you even the littlest bit is a threat, and he wants to keep you safe from them, be it spiders or a traumatic experience

Will take you out for a walk if you can’t go back to sleep. He wasn’t really sleeping either, so it’s of no disturbance to him. Will hold your hand as you walk through the woods, to the stream where he fishes. He’ll have you sit next to him on the river bank, and you let the cool night air flow through your hair, and the rippling of the water ground you and relax you further. If you get chilly, Adrian will lend you his coat, draping it over your shoulders and smiling when you bring it to your face to breathe in his scent

Hector

He knows all too well that feeling of waking up in sheer terror in the middle of the night. You’ve helped him with plenty of nightmares after escaping the vampire sisters, so he is up and ready to help you. He remembers you holding him and playing with his hair when he wakes up from one, so he offers to do that for you. When your shaking body presses against his, he wants nothing more than to take that pain and fear from you. He hates seeing you in such distress, especially over something he can’t physically see and protect you from

One of his undead pets will hop up onto the bed and plop down in your lap. Whether it’s his puppy, Cezar, who licks at your face and whines for you, or his cat who simply curls up in your lap and purrs. Either one, their love is pure and you pet them to ground yourself as you begin to relax. Hector smiles down at the pet, being all “Are you protecting Y/N as well? Such a caring thing you are.” and you smile as he rubs your arms to soothe your shaking body and your nerves

He wants to know what scared you, he wants to help you and protect you from this fear. He knows he’s not exactly the strongest person, but he’s still there for you and wants you to feel safe in his arms. If you don’t feel ready to share, he understands, since it took him time to open up about his as well. So for the meantime, holding you while you held one of his undead pets was enough

Since you gave new names to netflixvania Hector n Isaac out of being completely different characters from the og, what name would you give to nfcv as a whole? We all know it's somewhat generic vampire show w some castlevania designs and references so

My contributions are: "Generic Vampire Show", "Fuck! Vampires!", "Those damm catholics did it again" and "The Isaac show ft. Everyone else". And for something more serious uhhh, "Blight of the land" or "The Fangs of the Ruler"

Man I wish I could call N!Hector "Caesar" and N!Isaac "Abraham" on main without having to put disclaimers 😔

(I can't take credit for Caesar. @woodchipp named him that way. Apparently he found that the name means "head full of thick hair" lmaooooo. And no we didn't know about Cezar the zombie pug but it made it even funnier 😂)

also fun fact, we also called Dracula "Vladmir", Trevor "Ralphie", and IIRC Richter "Victor", in honor of his trailer :P

The best name for the show is, of course, Tiddies. Or "r/im14andthisisdeep". But uhhh on a more serious note, maybe The Fangs of the Ruler would work. Rulers, perhaps? Since the villain is not Dracula, but vampires as a whole, who want to conquer the world and subjugate humankind. Vampires are treated much better than humans, to the point where I would say they're the villain protagonists, but if I had to find a theme for NFCV, yeah it revolves around them.

♡ He asks you if you'll be his Valentine and should you agree he'll be ecstatic! (Though he's trying to keep his cool too). There's a cushioned bench in there and a pile of books for the two of you to read together as well as various plates on a table nearby with all the sweets and pastries.

♡ He'll get you to talk about whatever you're reading and he won't be able to shut up if you ask him the same and show interest in what he's talking about, he's sorry but he just can't help himself. If you want, he'll read aloud to you? During this time, he'll cuddle up with one arm around you as you're laid together and he'll go on little anecdotes about how he's carried out certain experiments detailed in the books before and he doesn't realise when he makes these long pauses just so that he can look at you in his arms like this. He hopes that things will get better between you in the future.

Hades AU with Castlevania characters with Alucard as Zagreus, Dracula as Hades, and Lisa as Persephone with some twists. Cezar is Cerberus; a giant three headed zombie pug whom Hector gave as a gift to Dracula and baby Alucard. Miranda—the old woman Isaac meets in the animated series—helped her students Hector and Isaac bring a baby Alucard back to life after he died during his birth. Carmilla, Morana, and Lenore are the Furies. Striga is the champion of the arena, and she and Morana are/were lovers. They were sperated by Dracula when he was in his angry phase, and have since been forbidden from meeting each other. Edouard is the court singer who lost his will and love to sing when not only was his male lover forbbiden from seeing him, but also lost his best friend Annette when she was banished deeper in the Underworld after she tried to speak out against Dracula's treatment of his court. Godbrand is Skelly. Trevor and Sypha were Alucard's childhood friends. They grew-up with the Prince of the Underworld, never far from each other. When they tried to speak up to Dracula about his treatment of Alucard—only for Dracula to banish them from the court, making them the guardians (dungeon bosses) of Ashpodel and Elysium respectively. Alucard was too scared of his father back than to speak-up for them. it is his biggest regret and greatest shame. Maybe Richter and/or Julia could be the mini-boss of Trevor's level, while Maria and/or Tera could be Sypha's. Not sure about other characters. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
