Damn her. That was the only thing that Jaken could think of. The sun beat down on his broad shoulders and chest, browning his already tanned skin. This summer hadn’t been nice. In fact, if he had to describe it, he would say that it was as if Cirel fell into the inner circle of the Death Plane as it was so hot that he couldn’t think straight. It had been the type of summer where someone stepped outside and was drenched in their own sweat immediately.

Having his boss’s daughter around didn’t help. Jaken didn’t have any choice in the matter. Prime Minister Ambrogino Cesarin ordered him to see to Mia Cesarin’s protection after a deal Ambrogino made soured. They were out to harm him through his family, and there was only one man who stood in their way: Jaken. He received no magickal training in the army, but many said he was a natural. Those who wished to harm the Cesarin family didn’t understand the man that Ambrogino employed.

Interrupting his thoughts with her melodic voice, Mia raised her arm, rested her elbow on the towel. She rested her head upon her knuckles before she spoke. “Can you rub some sunscreen on me?”

“Absolutely not.” He didn’t want the temptation.

“Come on, Jaken.” She stretched out before him, her firm breasts crushed against the gold embroidered ebony beach towel. His gaze swept along her body, soaking in her soft curves. He was sure that she would feel warm to the touch as the sun warmed her exposed flesh.

Damn her, Jaken thought again. There seemed to be an attraction between Mia and himself. This was the first time that a client could distract him in such a way that he was unsure that he could do his job. What would Ambrogino say? The older man told him to make sure Mia had a wonderful time on the Glorendine coast.

As he picked up the bottle of sunscreen, he squeezed a good size portion into his right hand and tried not to notice how warm her sun-kissed skin felt beneath his fingertips. His hand brushed against the tiny string tying her black bikini top together. He longed to untie it and pull her against him.

The waves crashed upon the land, drowning out the noise of the other beach goers and leaving a white foam behind on the shoreline. He could hear every noise that Mia made as his hands continue to rub the lotion on her back and shoulders. Mia moaned.

For a moment, he imagined something a bit more carnal. Jaken wondered how it would feel to have Mia make those same noises beneath him. Their love affair would not be a simple summer romance. He wanted so much more than that.

Mia turned her head and moaned, “That feels so good.” What would she do if he had pressed his mouth against her own painted lips? They both had been sending out signals for a while now, signals that neither of them had any point in expressing. It wouldn’t work out between them. She was Ambrogino’s daughter; he, the hired help.

Damn her. Mia had to know just how much he desired her. He wondered though if she was aware of the signals she was sending him. Could she actually want him?

He shook his head. Dark locks brushed against the bridge of his nose, tickling his cheek. The hoary hair on the back of his neck stood on end as desire washed over every inch of him. His body called out to him to make a move, finally acting upon what he actively denied himself for over a year. Jaken didn’t move.

Summary: Lou & Reid have been best friends since forever and are secretly in love with each other but either of them isn't aware of each other's feelings.

Chapter 1: Lou's POV

The alarm went off and I fell on the floor with an "Ouch!" and realized I had snoozed the alarm 5 freaking times that morning.

With an audible groan, I stood and saw the time. 10:30 a.m. Great! Coach's going to kill me today. I scrambled into my bathroom and got fresh as fast as possible.

After that, I put a bread in the toaster and the first honk of his car came into my apartment.

"Shit! COMING!", I screamed even though I know he didn't hear.

After 2 minutes, I carried my bag on my shoulder, a toast in one hand and my apartment keys in another and sprang for the door.

"Chill! I said I was coming," I reached in time just when he was about to honk for the tenth time.

"How can I? We're already fifteen minutes late and all the credits go to you," he gave me a fake smile and began to drive.

"I can't help it Reid. I am a heavy sleeper and definitely not a morning person," I yawned at the end for emphasis.

He snorted and took a left turn with one hand on steering wheel and the other on the gear shift. God, he always looked adorable in this position. Not that he always looked adorable.

Reid has been my best friend since we were children. Our moms are practically like sisters but just born from different women. Reid and I have done everything together: went to the same play school, went to the same day care, did all the activities and projects with each other, we were now even in the same college.

On weekends, we attend dance classes too. I have always loved dance and Reid has always encouraged and helped me with it.

Oh and did I mention we have family dinners too? Every Sunday either at Reid's parents house or my parents house. Everything was perfect but there was just one problem:

I have been in love with Reid since we were ten. Yep, you read it right. He seemed so oblivious to my feelings that I started to think maybe he sees me no more than his best friend. Hence, I never got the courage to make a move but maybe one day....

"Lou?" Reid startled me and I realized I had been day dreaming, "Yeah, sorry what?"

"I said we've reached."

"Yeah, of course."

We both went inside the dance academy. As I expected, the class had already began and we were fifteen minutes late. This month was the dance championship and due to that we had a class almost everyday.

Reid and I sly-footed and thankfully no one noticed. We blended in with others and started warming up with them.

After the warm up, the coach announced, "Okay, before we start today's practice, I would like to introduce a new student," a new student?, "Celie Tremblay."

A pretty girl with porcelain skin and doll like features cam into view and greeted everyone with a small "Hey,"

The coach asked her to tell us something about her and she began, "My name is Celie as told by our coach Mr. Pan," she gestured towards him, "I recently moved here and got admission in St. Cesarine College," THAT'S MY COLLEGE!

"That's great! Congratulations Celie! Okay one more thing: Everyone, as you know the dance championship is in two weeks, it's auditions are going to be next week and only four couples will be selected. And remember, everyone needs two partners one for the initial dance and the other for finale. Good luck! Start deciding your partners and begin practicing,"

I heard the coach but my gaze remained on the new girl. Her eyes lingered on everyone for a second then settled on someone.

Not someone but Reid. He was saying something but she approached us and directly introduced herself to him completely ignoring me, "Hi I am Celie,"

They shook hands and he said, "I am Reid."

"Uh I know this is too early and it may be weird but will you be my partner for the dance championship?"

1.  What is your comfort food? - Chocolate. Milk chocolate to be more specific. 2. What would you recommend from Netflix? - Castlevania, Nailed it!, Tip and Oh (cartoon version, not 3D animation!) 3. What is your one thing from your bucket list you want to do/achieve in this life time? Can be small or big! - I would like to become a master. I don’t know what master yet (perhaps some martial arts), but I know I would love to have students and teach them. Lead them. Guide them. Help them grow. 4. Congratulations, you have discovered a new star! What name you will give to it? - Aah, oh no! I don’t know :’D Um, maybe Dusty, ahaha. Since that name keeps rolling in my mind as a first name when I think of a new star.

5. What is the best fanfic you have read? Why you like it? - I have read few very good fanfics, but my mind always keep going back on @emerald-leaves “Losing Leo” -> LINK. It just has that... something. It’s perfect. So much emotions, action, tension, great plot, great character handling etc. I have re-read it many times and I still want to go read it again and again <3 But anyone, who don’t know this story, I say this; It is TCEST one which holds male pregnancy as well! If those two things won’t bother you, then I HIGHLY recommend it and other fics from emerald-leaves <3 6. If you took a tattoo, what picture you would take? - Oh my God, I have so many ideas what I would like to take, ahaha! Probably a wendigo or some other monster. Or then skulls, Japanese frog from Japanese art, Japanese or Chinese traditional dragon, Qilin... or / and something small and cute :D But here’s some pics as an examples what kind of style and look I am after / which pleases me the most. Because I am FUCKING PICKY when it comes on tattoos. “Just nice” will never be good enough for me when it comes on them. It needs to be PERFECT. And the tattoo artist HAS TO have amazing skills, not just “normal or okay level” skills.

7. You can summon a demon to help you out with anything you want or need. No limitations and you do not have to sell your soul, either. The demon is just happy to help you. What task you will give to the demon? - To find and get me my mansion further away from people, making sure there’s land for me to have animals. Demon also should make sure I will have money, muscles and health to take care of the animals and live in the mansion :D (as you can see, poor Demon wouldn’t get away from me with just one task, ahah)

8. Are you good with plants? - It depends. Some plants I am good with and some just hate me :’D And there’s also this funny thing; If I have a indoor plant which blooms, they ALWAYS die! But if I have a outdoor plant which blooms, it survives! I don’t know what’s going on etc. but yeah. I have experience this so many times that I don’t want blooming indoor plants anymore because I don’t want to kill them.

9. What is your favorite mythological (folklore) creature? - I always have loved Minotaur, but lately I also have started to like Wendigo with Hiiden Hirvi (Hiisi’s Moose).

10. What makes you inspired? - Usually my imagination combined with music (when it comes to art). Music triggers my imagination instantly. That’s why I prefer listening only instrumental musics or musics with language what I don’t understand (Japanese and Chinese mostly) so that the lyrics won’t ruin or interrupt my imagination / its flow (if lyrics are Finnish or English). With other things I find old historic sculptures and books inspiring, nature, other peoples works (fics and arts), super natural stuff (real, not fictional) etc.

11. I come to visit you; where would you take me in your town/city/country? - Juankoski’s bridge or town square after it’s renovated, ahaha :’D No, not really. Hard to say until I have, someday, managed to move somewhere else since this place currently don’t have anything worth to show.

Top Three Ships: It feels silly even mentioning Apritello at this point (like anybody here doesn't know?), but I also love Raph/Casey (Rasey), and I officially ship the living daylights out of Eleanor and Chidi. Another would have to be Fry and Leela.

Lipstick or Chapstick: I'm allergic to every form of Chapstick and even some cheaper brands of lipstick. I have to use high end, lipsticks that don't contain petrolatum. Sadly, I can no longer use my FAVORITE liquid lipstick, Beso, by Stila. I developed an allergy to that as well.

Last Song: Oh wow, I haven't listened to music in a couple of days(?!) I'm currently listening to ASMR though.

Last Movie: In theater? My husband really wanted to see Crimes of Grindelwald. It was awful. I'm hoping we can make up for it soon.

Currently Reading: I'm usually reading a few books at a time but I'm in the middle of Tana French's A Secret Place. I had to slow down reading her Dublin Murder Squad series so I won't have to wait an eternity for her next installment. Might be longer now since she published a stand alone novel, but I'm looking forward to reading that too. I've also been enjoying Voice-Over Voice Actor by Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal.

I think I missed some of them.  You tagged each au ?

I don’t tag the ones I consider just jokes, but all of the ones that are in italics have tags, save for Sisterly Love that’s simply honorary.

I also only told a few people about the Shredder one, but hilariously it’s the first AU I ever conceived.

I just never took it anywhere.
