Inky's TMNT-themed art blog, made so her main blog wouldn't be littered with the stuff. Will contain frequent discussion and vapid fangirling. Some reblogs. Might be NSFW sometimes.

So
It’s pretty obvious that I rarely post here anymore. I’ve honestly pretty much stopped using tumblr. I won’t lie, I miss the interaction and conversations I used to have with people here more than anything. I still don’t get that anywhere else.
I’m grateful to have had it, and grateful to have gotten input and appreciation from all of you.
I will still post art here, when I feel it’s appropriate to do so, but I also draw a lot less TMNT than I used to (still draw it quite a bit, just less frequently than before), so posting here seems to be ‘only when appropriate’. You can still follow this blog for tmnt art, but it seems the discussion has run dry.
If you still like my art and want to interact with me, here is a link to my twitter [SFW]. There’s a lot of original art mixed in there, but I do post turtle art there whenever I draw it.
Thank you all for a wonderful 3 1/2 years, and making my time in this fandom wonderful. Again I haven’t left the fandom, but I’m less active than I used to be.
#Thank you all again#This has been one of my best fandom experiences#Also I do have a NSFW twitter#but I refuse to give it out#so happy hunting!

Concept art for a turtle super hero AU.
The plot is similar to canon, but the turtles are college students who gain ninja powers from Splinter in order to stop Shredder from returning to Earth.

Im posting a few art dumps here of my own version of the turtles!
Consider this sort of a ‘last hurrah’ of sorts. I’ll explain more later. I’m not LEAVING, but I’ll likely post significantly less here; I’ve already started doing so.
For the moment, have some turtles!

Today was my birthday! And since I can do whatever I want, I drew myself a harem of AU Raphs.
So many Raphs.

The turtles grew up in an orphanage together, but were all adopted out to different families. They haven’t seen one another since.
This Leo aspired to be an officer of the law, but mutants aren't permitted to do so, but he still wanted to serve the people.
So he did so by being a court stenographer in mutant courts, seeing the discrimination against his people face to face.
Donnie is a genius, who decided to focus on criminology.
All of his findings and research are published under the name of his friend, April O'Neil, since no one would likely take the work of a mutant seriously.
Raph’s day job may be a trash man, but some nights he's in an illegal underground mutant fighting ring, and others he's a vigilante watching the streets of the mutant district.
I wonder if he has some sort of mask, or a suit?
Mikey is a radio DJ and aspiring comedian, running a pirate station as its face, or at least its voice.
His station is quite popular with the unregistered mutants living in the sewers.

Colored pictures of the crew.
Leo is based on a yellow-bellied slider, Donnie a spotted turtle, Raph a mississippi map turtle, and Mikey a reeve’s turtle.
While April and Casey have a large role, I’m not sure how big Karai’s will be just yet. I can guarantee she’ll be a constant presence, at least.

Zero Day
Guess who came up with a new AU? With quite a bit of help from friends, of course.
Humans discovered Utrom performing experiments on humans and animals, turning them into horrible mutants. The Utrom retreated, but left their technology and the mutants behind. Mankind used the technology to advance their civilization rapidly.
Generations later, mutants live among humans, but are frequently discriminated against, and in some locations even segregated from them.
Recently, unregistered mutants are showing up dead, and a group of ragtag friends are trying to figure out why on their own.

I asked for four ships offsite to do this meme, and these are the ones I got.
I aimed for fluffier depictions. I was in a fluffy mood.
