2: What scene did you first put down? Funny enough, it was probably the scene where a just-showered April (wrapped in only a towel), runs into a “naked” Donnie. I had written that scene much earlier intending it to originally go into another little fic, but then it ended up working so well to sneak into this part. 6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?A) it’s crazy long and B) I actually finished it! ;)11: What do you like best about this fic? I was super happy with the slow-build romance between April and Donnie, because let’s face it - I wanted them to smooch and kiss and be happily in love right away. So it’s extra difficult to keep them apart for any extra length of time. 15: What did you learn from writing this fic? I learned so much! I learned:  - tons about grammar and even some new words!- how to write a fight scene (though i still need lots of work on that)- brainstorming with a friend is SO much better than brainstorming on your own. (I’m looking at you @suthnmeh)- no matter how decent your writing may be, it always helps to have a Beta reader; they’ll keep you honest- that I have an insatiable appetite for mushy scenes between Donnie and April.

Hello my pretties!! Yes I'm still on here, sorta. Not many turtles but there's going to be more animation stuff like this coming since I can finally start posting my stuff from The Polar Bear Prince! I moved to Belgium for 8 months for this, working at Studio Dreamwall in the city of Charleroi, the Detroit of Europe. I had a BLAST there, lemme tell ya. This here is Liv, and she likes animules and I kinda love her. Also look up the songs, they were my favorite thing from the movie!

the problem with mass effect is that no other games in the universe are going to be able to give me everything that those video games gave me. you can follow the story and missions or you can run around and explore planets until the end of time. you can build a crew of humans and aliens, and they love you but you aren’t just a blank self-insert character; you can shape shepard to be the class and personality that you want them to be. and you can love your crew back. you can explore the sci-fi world and fall into the lore and genuinely experience emotions at the decisions you have to make, and learn about the worlds and try to help them as best you can. and there’s politics, and love, and fighting, and friendship, and did i mention love??? Did I Mention the love between you and your crew, and how by the end of the trilogy no matter which romance you decide to pursue you can rest easy knowing that you’ve done your part to broker peace in the galaxy? or not, if you chose a different path? and the decisions feel organic and they’re reflected on your face (the scars) and by the end you’ve formed friendships with robots and all sorts of alien species and you feel so connected to the main character and all the adventures you’ve shared together that it feels more like a beautiful story than a trilogy of sci-fi single-player action games? what other video game has garrus vakarian? where am i supposed to go now and what do i do with the rest of my life. it’s been more than a decade and i’m still searching for the virtual paradise that those games provided and nothing else measures up

I have made everyone I know so far suffer my love for this film, so I must ask- are you aware of any possible DVD releases? I would LOVE a physical copy so bad, its such a masterpiece!

Side note - Love that Dog is a Smiths fan ! That little visual nod to the culture and era made me giggle, really set the vibe for his relationship with Duck to 😭💔

I have only HEARD about Robot Dreams apparently coming to DVD (Bluray?) last time I hung out with Robot Dreams people, but I can't confirm nor deny yet XD But I have high hopes!

Pablo Berger lived in New York during the 80s and 90s, where he met Yuko Harami, his now wife AND also member of the team. So they really wanted to make everything as accurate as possible. There was quite a lot of research behind the scenes and you can tell^^

Hi! I just wanted to say that Robot Dreams not only made me and my boyfriend cry our eyes out, it also made my boyfriend fall back in love with cinema as it was really hard for me to get him to watch anything. He gave it a solid 10 and it's the only movie he holds with such high regards.

This wonderful movie helped me personally to finally heal after a major depressive episode, as I'm someone who really struggles with letting people from my past go, now, thanks to Robot Dreams, I can finally let those people go and be happy remembering the good times I spent with them.

You and the team did such a great job, thank you for blessing us with this beautiful movie!
