I like to imagine an MC with ~Trauma~ (because same) that is just completely oblivious to how much all the other characters will back-flip and change entire habits for them. Like, I'm envisioning:

MC is just casually hanging out like usual when some of the brothers break out fighting in the house...like usual, and the shouting and sounds of things breaking causes them to tear up and panic a bit. Although they don't really notice that for the next month, none of them get into fights and when they start to do so, they end up taking it outside.

Or maybe MC avoiding the angels for a good while and no one can figure out why till they mention that they're not used to people treating them like that and it's very unnatural. "At least being around demons feels more normal." And none of the characters take this well. Even Diavolo has to sit down and stare at a wall for a while and reevaluate his whole outlook on things. Simeon tries sounding a bit more "rough" for a while and it flops terribly.

Or even:

MC: Oh, there you guys are, I was wondering where some of you went.

*A few of the brothers lift their head as the human enters the living room.*

MC: Is there something going on? Why are you all here?

Mammon: Sittin' here watchin' the races.

How the oldest brothers react to getting scolded by MC

Lucifer-

After Diavolo gives him a large mountain of paper work, Lucifer tends to forget about his self-care. After what was almost a week of not sleeping, you bust down the door to his study, his look of concern and shock is not a look you soon wont be forgetting as you attempt to drag him to his room. As you're pulling him you're telling him about the importance of sleep and self-care telling him how bad it is for his skin to not sleep, for a second he thinks you've been spending to much time with Asmo, but is quickly pulled out of his thoughts by you shoving him to his bed. He trys to protest, but is quickly shut-up by you giving him a lecture that could possibly rival his own. His pride's a little hurt and he's confused about what just happened with the sudden shift of personality.

Mammon-

His gambling addiction has gotten out of hand, he started to take stuff from you to sell just for him to lose it at the casinos. He's going through you drawers to find anything of value when you come into your room, "what are you doing" you ask with an annoyed face. Mammon jumps when he hears your voice trying to quickly hide the hand full of jewelry he took out of touch wardrobe. You can tell the gears are turning in his head to make a good excuse, "are you the reson stuff has been going missing", now the guilty been building for a while with him and he comes clean about what he's been doing. You look him dead in the eyes and tell him that if has yet to win what makes him think his luck will change, he's shattered, he thought he would win back what he had took and shower you with even better surprises but yet here you are lecturing him about how he stole from you and how he's lost your trust. He goes back to his room not wanting to cause himself anymore embarrassment by trying to say he would pay you back.(we all know he sucks at paying people back)

Leviathan-

Yet another debacle between him and Mammon leads to him summoning Lotan, hate to be the barer of bad news but the essay you wrote about the history of Devildom due that day didn't make it, you were walking to the demon lords castle to turn it in when you where swept up by a wave summoned with Lotan. It's easy to say Levi's player 2 isn't very happy with him. You're looking down at the remains of your hard work, ready to cry any moment when Levi walks up trying to apologize but at that moment you snap yelling at him for always taking things to far and making his problems everyone else's, you didn't mean to be that harsh but the work you spent sleepless days on went down the drain (literally) and you were tiered. He runs off crying and won't leave his room for a while.

Here's something mildly heartbreaking :) (my speciality!)

Mammon definitely cried when MC died right?

• He (along with Asmo) is the character who cries the most in canon;

1.) He cries during sad parts of movies/shows/plays/books

2.) He cries while watch animal documentries

3.) Hell he cried because Beel ate the soup he was making MC

• MC died on a day where the rest of the brothers were (up until that point) having a relaxing, fun day - playing a game to get Lucifer & MC closer together. Their death was definitely unexpected/an extreme shock

• MC's injuries were bad according to Satan? (Levi?) Bad enough that a human wouldn't have been able to survive it. Bad enough that even Lucifer knew he couldn't do anything to save them when Asmo asked him to. That means the body Mammon was holding was........ I mean it would have been a gruesome sight

• Mammon's been spending every day since the beginning of the year with MC. At this point he's already obviously in love with them, they're his best friend, the two of them share a bedroom frequently. They were close

The point being: Mammon held a dying human in his arms and sobbed his fucking heart out while asking them not to die. In front of Belphie.

The point being: Mammon didn't cry when Lilith died. No listen, he absolutely broke down when she died but he didn't do it in front of his brothers. Mammon was the one keeping it together and looking after everyone when they Fell. He couldn't scream and cry and beg like he wanted to when Lilith died because he had to be the strong one, he had to soothe everyone's injuries and fears and guilt, he had to show them that things could be better, that they could move on to a brighter future (shoutout to Mammon's lines in his unit song with Lucifer).

But you know what Belphie would have seen?

He would have seen his older brother breaking down over a human he's known for months when he wouldn't even cry after his little sister, who he'd known for thousands of years, died

And we all already know what Belphie thought about humans at this time:

And we already know what he thought about his brothers at this time:

For a moment there, while MC was dying Belphie would have hated Mammon. Would have felt vindicated for causing Mammon that kind of pain, when he (as far as Belphie knew) couldn't even spare that for his sister.

Belphie would have felt angry and betrayed. Justified for what he said and did but so so painfully hurt.

And then (in s1 of the anime) when the brothers were tiptoeing around Belphie, were trying to reach out to him and act normal after what he did, but were so obviously failing, when there was a distance between them and Belphie that had previously never existed, that even Beel couldn't find away to breach, Mammon was the first to take that step forward and close the distance which prompted everyone else to do the same, to bring Belphie back to them, to show that he was accepted and loved and always a part of them

And I am very emotional about them.

Disclaimer: this is absolutely not a post bashing Belphie or his thoughts/actions/feelings. They're both complex characters and I always love trying to breakdown and figure out what certain characters were feeling at a time by bringing up other moments in canon. In addition, me stating things from canon or talking about negative emotions or things characters have done and comparing those things to another charcter's actions/emotions/responses is not me putting down one character to raise up another. Sometimes when analysing characters you have to compare and contrast them with others present in that or similar situations -> doing so doesn't mean I'm shit talking one character. A character can do, say, think, believe bad or complex things -> there's nothing wrong with talking about/analysing those things or still loving that character.

Usually when I make an analysis post I take evidence from canon and then add it all together to get ✨️The Main Point✨️ of the post.

In this post I had to infer all of mammon's "canon evidence" (via other actual canon evidence) because we're never explicitly told he cried when MC died and we never see his instant reaction to Lilith's death.

Belphie's side of it was however all explicitly stated in canon so I just added the screenshots. Which is why I wrote much more about mammon on this post than Belphie.

But ✨️The Main Point✨️ that I was always getting to and what made me write this post is actually about how absolutely fucking pissed off Belphie would have been because of Mammon. How hurt and angry and betrayed he would have felt that his older brother who's meant to protect him and his family apparently valued the life of some random human over their sister's.

I added the S1 bit because it nicely rounded up Belphie & Mammon's story. Because it proved Belphie wrong. It proved exactly how much Mammon (and the others) valued him and each other. Because he got to see how heartbroken Mammon was when MC died, he knew exactly what it was like to be that heartbroken, he knew exactly what it was like to NEVER forgive that which caused the pain, and yet he was forgiven. And THAT I think more than anything would have proved Belphie's initial thoughts wrong. It would have eased any lingering feelings of betrayal and hurt he had. Would have proved how much he was loved by his older brother.

So yeah, this was absolutely made to be Belphie's post and I don't think I explained that well enough in the original post💀 in my defense i was half an hour late in feeding the kids & getting yelled at🥲

I for one feel like it's nice getting know "young" Satan and seeing this new sprite of his.

I waited for compile the first four days together because making a post for each damn day was becoming tedious lol. Sure it's good for spreading out screenshots but my adhd is k i l l i n g me.

Like good fucking lord Gehenna is always being attacked. I've said this once and I'll say it again like the angels really have fucking beef with Satan it seems. They barely touch the other parts of Hell.

So anyways Gehenna is under fire for a different reason today, it is none other than Sitri that's burning up the entire place and even his sprite is just nothing but blue fire.

In science class ya'll, we remember that blue flames are actually hotter than the orange ones. So I can imagine it's a good thing that Solomon or MC weren't here cause yeah they would of been instantly vaporized.

But all the devils are trying to put the fire out, can't cause water ofc won't help here.

I imagine Sitri's fire is more of a energy/essence sourced fire though so ofc it can't be extinguished by "normal" methods.

AND THEN HERE COMES THE BOO BEAR.

Young Satan is peak I swear. He's spunky, full of life, catty, I feel he's easily annoyed more, and just got that "it" factor. Not to say the older him is drained and used up, but definitely more mature.

So he goes to his demonic monster form, which as far as we've seen he's the only one that has a form like that. I'd like to assume the others do too but don't have to use it as often or at all.

So....why did Sitri burn up Gehenna??

Well it turns out that Sitri wasn't necessarily doing this on purpose.

Normally, our blue haired mr perfect shoes has everything together. Here he doesn't. Phew....Sitri I know something ain't right when your room is as messy as Paimon's (canon stuff that Paimon doesn't keep his room clean lmao)

Like? even Sitri's appearance is all kinds of fucked. Dry cracked lips, fucked up hair, like our baby is not doing well ya'll.

Andddd Belialllllll the bae <3 comes to visit. Jjyu and his loud mouthed self..

What kills me is that Sitri literally was like "I didn't hear you."

WHAT?

And then we find out through Belial writing it down because he didn't want Jjyu making shit worse (good call) that it wasn't Sitri's fault that the recent battle went all wrong and a lot of devils were killed in the process.

Sitri feels responsible for their deaths and is spiraling right now overthinking the past and thinking how it could have been better.

I feel sorry for him, because there was a time in my life where I would do the same and basically be so deep in my regret and guilt I neglected my health, my surroundings, my friendships...pretty much everything. It wasn't a good time so I know what Sitri is going through.

We even hear him mention that Zagan was badly injured (Astaroth too)

Jjyu shut the hell up omg lmaooooo

(him in response to Sitri explaining that Zagan could barely speak he was hurt so badly) Belial glares at him for that btw lmao

Satan also got injured it seems so it sounds like this battle went really bad.

Sitri even asks to be alone, and well Belial gets it and leaves promptly. I really like seeing Belial be more interactive this go around because we barely get that from the Gehenna devils in the main story and the last event in Gehenna was mostly just Minhyeok and Ppyong.

This gives me an insight as to how Belial is in personality, and really aside from Jjyu, he's really just chill and seems very pleasant to be around in general. I wish we could see what his eyes look like. It would change me forever.

So we're at the meeting that happens a few days later and well Sitri is still in a sullen mood. Since Zagan and Astaroth are out of commission, Amy was invited to come.

Oh so it seems Amy is going to be popping up since we got introduced. That's pretty nifty.

And Leraye is definitely worried about Sitri, wondering if he's sleeping, eating, and his condition has gotten worse. I imagine Sitri hasn't sleep in days since the event.

Paimon tries to lighten the mood but bless his heart it doesn't work when...

Amy starts going off about Sitri ordering him and his men to go east, and well that was the wrong call this time. I see it as a simple miscalculation but in the heat of war...perhaps things like this can't just be mistakes. lives are at stake, and devils aren't being re-produced anymore. Their extinction is literally inevitable during these battles.

Even if it weren't, lives were still lost and Amy takes this personally because it was HIS men who were affected the most.

I guess this seemed like the "best" time to bring up why Amy hates Sitri so much but it's like???? "because he looks like a girl?"

I'm just going to take this as Amy just not liking how elegant Sitri is with everything and how it compares to his rough and rash behavior. I don't think he truly would care if anyone looks more feminine.

And well because Amy started some shit, Sitri took a piece of paper, spat in it and threw it at Amy. So naturally...here we are.

Now a couple things about this scene...Zagan is present...and then there's a random devil there which this a private meeting for the nobles so why????

idk....let's just keep going lol

So Amy goes on to further berate Sitri and saying that he's aware that him and his subordinates have to follow orders once they get them from the center, so if the orders were better thought out his men wouldn't of died.

Sitri tells him why doesn't he kill him then since it was as if he did it himself and Amy is all like ????

And here we see more of their banter dynamic and it's almost as if Amy literally just holds back and only fights with words. Sitri physically maims and does things to him just as we saw in the previous event.

He even broke his wrist here like damn. And came in like-

Like good lord Sitri chill

And then Sitri starts to smack the shit out of him and cuss him out some more and Paimon stops the fight because Amy is literally about to give him a concussion at this point. Paimon invited Amy because he felt it would be good to go over the battle with him there but he realizes all it did was make things worse.

Leraye goes to even try and talk with Sitri to see if he's taking care of himself and well, obviously he's not. He's still focused on the battle and his mistakes.

A few days later happens and Sitri is front and center because Amy pretty much said he isn't listening to him anymore and doing what he thinks is best.

And Sitri isn't doing so hot in battle either. He's shooting without a plan or strategy, other devils are just standing around. Yes angel's are dying but he's just...doing whatever and hasn't had proper sleep or anything.

He's such a mess Satan had to come in and kick his ass in the middle of battle and set him straight.

So it's safe to say that Satan doesn't like tasteless and useless anger. There has to be a purpose for your anger and for him to thrive on it and he just ain't diggin' it from Sitri at the moment.

Oh boy...I don't have a good feeling about that.

So we go back to the time when Gehenna was up in flames. We have Leraye snippin' and doin' his thing and Ppyong helping with bringing over bullets. They then notice Sitri on the battlefield and he seems to be killing every single angel accurately but....our boy Leraye knows best.

He tells Ppyong to STOP Sitri because this isn't a planned attack, he is literally killing everyone that gets in his range. Doesn't matter if it's angel or devil.

Sitri is literally so damn tired he can't even notice or care anymore and is just going at it.

And that's when everyone notices the flames at the same time. They are erupting from Sitri's body.

Belial even uses his hoarse voice to call out to Sitri and we know that's serious.

And sorry like I know that Sitri is in a bad place and bad spot rn but he looks so pretty here. The blue and pink contrasts are definitely a Sitri signature look.

But yeah that fire is way too hot for anyone to do anything. Even Leraye is told that he can't help. So Ppyong runs off to find Amy to help.

Leraye does attempt though, but it's no use, and Paimon had to come and save him. (they're so cute I love them)

And ya'll it was THREE damn days that fires were going and THREE days that Sitri was like that just in the middle of the square. Also...damn why did it take three days for Ppyong to go find Amy? (he explains later that the teleportation talisman just couldn't keep up with Amy)

But the Gehenna bois are all going over how they don't blame Sitri, they blame themselves for letting him hold that weight of being responsible for everything that happens. It's that weight that led to his current state and now things were worse off for everyone but they feared most for Sitri's life and well-being.

But Amy finally shows up and well his attempts to help the situation were hopeful at first...but sadly...

Amy gets stabbed in the stomach with one of the iron maiden spikes...which at this point are surrounding Sitri like vines to protect him. This raw power is actually quite impressive if it weren't ya know killing everyone around him in a blind haze.

I wonder if he was able to tap into that while training in Hades?

But...yeah I was rooting for Amy to bring him back here because you know frenemies and stuff like that (or for those who ship them only Amy can bring him back)

BUT Satan comes to the rescue!

Poor Amy, I swear he's always gettin' tossed around and shit lol

Also as many times Amy has been slashed and punctured in the stomach you would assume he'd never recover from that.

But we have something important here that I'd like to talk about for a minute that Satan reveals...

He mentions that Sitri is dealing with depression and that he must have gotten it from him. If we remember from his info card he is the embodiment of depression in Hell. He is depression. So his right hand devil that's always around him? Yeah eventually he's gonna get bit by the bug.

And I like that Satan isn't the typical representation of depression either. He always seems upbeat, active, and doing everything and anything. But as we have seen in the main story he has emotional wounds that haven't healed and he wonders if they will. He was speaking of the loss of Solomon, but I'm sure there's more to it than that which existed way before he even met him.

Now we see that Sitri is literally not taking care of himself, wallowing, self destructing, that's what most folks usually see and demonize when folks are going through IRL depression. They never seem to pay attention to the person who has it all together because why would they have depression? they're doing fine right?

So here we are...knowing the source. And why Satan has decided to be the one to save Sitri. And well since he can't do that as himself he has to transform to his monster form to do it.

I'd just like to bring up that he's so damn cute here. The jokester.

But it seems that Satan doesn't take his monster form often. We've seen it first when he met Solomon to test him, we see it when he fights Mammon that one time in one of the comics iirc, and we see it now.

I wonder when was the first time he ever had to use his monster form?

But either way, he carries Sitri out of the flames, and even though Sitri is still on fucking fire burning on his back Satan can handle it. Even Astaroth is concerned and comes to see if Satan is okay.

Satan starts traveling somewhere..."where memories flicker" to go put out the fire though, and everyone is following him.

Satan keeps mentioning that Sitri kept a promise to him that he wouldn't die. And I think we will get to the root of that soon.

And that's when we go to a F L A S H B A C K

ALRIGHT TIMELINE SHIT TAHNK

So...with this bit of info this is what I've gathered-

-Satan, Belphie, Mammon, and Leviathan all were already here before Lucifer was

-Gehenna was not in existence yet, but Tartaros and Hades were

-This possibly happened around the same time that Mammon was trapped (or after)

S T O P fueling my damn SHIP (and by stop I mean keep doing it.)

So apparently in a land assuming early Gehenna there were rumors of a beautiful beast, and Satan was like "oh levi??? :D" but clearly not him lol

I just think it's funny that his first thought was Leviathan. (he'd be like yeah think of me first you idiot)

They must have been before Ppyong because I don't see him here. So hopefully we get to see when Ppyong arrived!!

So what Satan is doing right now is traveling with these three going to find what this beast is and if he can find his right hand devil in order to help him build his kingdom.

But overall so far I think I'm learning a lot about Sitri in a way I'd like to know more about Bael or Foras tbh since they are the right hand devils. I know we had a Niflheim event that showed Beleth, but I want to know what it is he did to fall to Hell and what that scar around his neck is about. And for those who didn't get Beel's bathcard we do get some of Bael's lore in there but only a crumb.

But alas...possibly may or may not get this but we'll see...

🍄 coming in for laughs So imagine lucifer and mc switching bodies for a day. Satan needs to learn how to store the cursed tomes. Mc makes lucifer swear to behave like nothing happened. At RAD Dia obv figures out mc is lucifer for today, and so mc is excused from work. Meanwhile, lucifer needs to handle all his brothers touching, flirting, suggestions, secrets, not being able to be as intimidating, body is too small, where the fuck are my wings, why is your skin like that. At some point mammon even picks mc up on his shoulder and runs away. Attempted kisses. Total chaos. But he is too prideful to go back on his promise. At evening in the common room, they are back in their bodies, mc sitting on the couch, stifling a laugh, lucifer standing there embarrassed to his core, the rest come in, and find out the truth. A week later, Satan still hasn't come out of his room, Mammon can't look lucifer in the eye, Asmo gets flustered just thinking how close he was to lucifer having him on the table (in his imagination at least), Solomon wishes he asked mc for a pact while he could've, maybe it would work like that What do you think about the rest pf the characters? Ps. I love torturing lucifer, it's a hobby at this point

MC being kinda mean by making him promise not to tell! They had to know he'd suffer at the hands of everyone believing he was them.

Then again, maybe it's good for him to experience a day being MC. He can finally know what it's like for MC to deal with this nonsense every day lol.

I love the idea that Diavolo figures it out almost immediately. Like MC shows up in Lucifer's body, ready to pretend to be him and get work done. At first Dia's like hmm okay.

But then MC does something too un-Lucifer like and Dia's like okay what gives. Who are you and what have you done with Lucifer. And MC just caves.

I can kinda see Levi just being unaffected. Like maybe he didn't even go to RAD that day and he's been holed up in his room playing some video game and missed the whole thing. 'Cause if he thought he was having some kinda sweet moment with MC and then found out later it was Lucifer, I promise the HoL will be flooded shortly thereafter.

Beel takes it in stride. He just goes over to Lucifer and says "Sorry for what I did when I thought you were MC." And Lucifer sighs and looks aggrieved, but he's like it's fine. 'Cause who could stay mad at sweet precious Beel?

Belphie is devastated, but like hell he's gonna let anyone know. Says he doesn't care and goes to sleep. Later finds MC and is like, here's what I did when I thought Lucifer was you. It was terrible. How could you make me suffer like this.

Barbatos would know, I don't think he'd be fooled at all. He keeps the secret, but he's just laughing about the whole situation on the inside.

Simeon is confused. Wait. MC was actually Lucifer? Oh. Oh no. He's gonna be apologizing to Lucifer for anything he did when he thought Lucifer was MC, even if he didn't do anything lol. Lucifer's just like please let us not speak of it.

I love that Solomon is disappointed he lost his chance to try for a pact. Lucifer is just like it's never gonna happen.

Hello i'm the person who gave you the idea of satan being an angel and i wanted to say thank you very much!.

I really liked how you did the reactions and the ending with MC is adorable. If i'm honest it was my first time asking for a request (manly because of my english) but when i saw that you liked my idea i was excited ♡.

So here's another idea in case you need any what do you think if MC holds a grudge for all the brothers threats?. For example all those times when Mc's life was put in danger, the insults and threats make MC start to hold a grudge against the brothers. Of course when it happened with Belphie *cough Mc's death cough* Mc snap at the brothers. It would be great if the brothers have to earn Mc's forgiveness.

at first, he didn't think what he was doing was the big of a deal since you were just a way to get what he wanted

Orphan from Hades, outcast from Gehenna

I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I finally got around to it. Here I collect all the details that this sweet lamb has in common with Hades. ...aaand some rambling about him and his Solomon thing, because why not.

Yes, I miss him very much. Yes, I did it just to look at his beautiful face. Get ready for a collection of screenshots.

We all know that Sitri is a little... ok, very delulu about Solomon. As strange as it may sound, this is the most superficial of problems. This is eye-catching. But underneath the irritation he causes there is much, much more, and it is not good for him.

In the first part we will go through the facts and his connection with Hades, the second part is my long rant. You will have marked what is where.

PS. Sitri lovers, don't worry. I belong to this nation myself, it's not a hate rant.

Jealousy and distrust

Do I even need to mention it? He's regulary call out for this. And this is the jealousy he feels especially towards the Solo MC. During the Halloween event, he was even called out that, paraphrasing, "at this rate, maybe you really should leave Gehenna and go back to Hades". Unfortunately, I don't have this one screenshot, so you'll have to take my word for it.

Not only MC is a person which makes him jealous, but also his king. Offtop, Satan knows this and really enjoys irritating him. Apart from Sitri, MC and Leviathan (so probably all others kings too), I don't remember Satan trying to annoy anyone so purposefully, but it may be me just not remembering.

Additionally, constant doubts. Sitri has always distrusted Leamas, and if it weren't for Satan, he would have killed him on the spot. The first thing he does when Marbas appears and threatens us is pulls out a gun and puts it to his head (he is justified here because the kings did the same). In the Christmas story, whenever he sees Gabriel, he immediately throws knives at him.

Who else kills everyone who has even a 1% chance of threatening Hell?

Let alone the thing that they know and remember each other.

It doesn't mean that they knew each other very well or that they were friends. But, for example, Sitri and Bimet did not know each other. Since both Sitri and Leviathan remember each other even after some time, Sitri must have spent a lot of time in Hades. No wonder he took over their vibe.

Also, a little spoiler of ch5, just as Sitri only called us by our name when we drifted off into the land of sleep, Leviathan in his H-scene only softened when we were so unconscious that we could no longer remember it.

Weapon of choice

I have already addressed this topic here. There's no point in me dwelling on this too much. His weapon is straight from Hades. We mark this point off as obvious.

Mark & clothes

Here's a slightly more interesting thing, I admit that I noticed it only later. The tattoo on Sitri's neck. We see that it is a pentagram assigned to Satan and Gehenna, but I want to point a little curiosity.

At one point, the Sitri's symbol on his neck and Leviathan's symbol in his eye were the same. Also, very distinctive - Levi's symbol on someone's neck.

The second non-obvious thing is his clothes. Sitri is the only noble of Gehenna wearing all black. Nobles from Hades also wear black. Does this refer to this? Not necessarily, because we know that Satan's closest commandos wear dark uniforms the same as him. Sitri as a noble and Satan's right-hand devil may combine these two features.

Some headcanons and rambling

The part where I tried to be objective and draw facts ends here. Now let me happily chatter on how I interpret his behavior

bUT FIRST, I still have some unused screenshots, and how can I miss such an opportunity? PB why did you create something so beautiful?

My aesthetic sense is satisfied~

So. Let's go to my ramble. This sweet creature has huge abandonment issues. He is intelligent, and even Ppyong is confused and explains that Sitri is usually really smart, but with us he goes crazy. Besides, you can see that he behaves quite normally around others (the only exception, he can sometimes become detached around Satan).

As for our name, he knows it, and he is aware that we are not Solomon. The famous words at the end of his H-scene. So why does he call us Solomon? Because he is unable to come to terms with his departure? The easiest excuse is that he misses him and projects him onto us. That Solomon never left them and those years never existed. That Sitri doesn't care about us, that he only really wants Solomon.

But I like to think of a slightly different version.

To Hades belong the orphans, to Gehenna the outcasts. And Sitri belongs to both. We don't know what he went through, we don't know what's going through his mind, but we see his behavior towards others. He is calm and perfectly controls his emotions even during his H-scene. He is smart and morbidly suspicious, what we see a lot. Finally, he must have everything under control, to such an extent that in some matters even Satan does not try to fight him (the most striking example is that he is the only one who gives Satan blood).

When he saw us, of course, he felt the familiar spirit of Solomon. But what he really liked was us. His emotions were out of control and it scared him. So he dealt with it the only way he knew how. He can't afford to trust again and be let down again, so he forced his true emotions that he felt towards us into the "it's just love for Solomon" box. Because he has already experienced mourning for Solomon and he can cope with it somehow, maybe not well, but enough to function on a daily basis. If he was rejected again, he wouldn't be able to cope. And he can't afford it.

He is Satan's henchman, prince of Hell and The Guardian of Gehenna. He can't show weakness. He can't break down. So the defending remnants of his sanity did what they could to maintain the fragile status quo.

Does he know what he is doing is wrong? Of course. Does he realize that he is hurting us? Of course. But he is one of the highest generals in a country at war, he has to deal with all the nobles, he has to support the king, he has to be ready to fight at any moment. And his Hades mentality makes him willing to sacrifice his happiness (and last crumbs of sanity) and our liking for him to protect his king and country.

Emotions cannot be controlled. But he tries nevertheless. If he didn't feel such strong emotions towards us, he wouldn't try to deny them. If someone is traumatized, they do not always know how to properly cope with it, and his mechanism is not healthy, it harms himself and us. But what else is he supposed to do? We know the approach in Gehenna. Only strength counts. Besides, he is the "responsible one" who would listen to him and help him? We? The moment we deny him, his psyche will collapse like a house of cards.

Maybe I'm exaggerating, overinterpreting, or it's just a running joke. But after how well-developed the characters are so far, I don't want to believe that his brain just turns off with the snap of his fingers.

After all this, I only have one question.

That makes me wonder how the kings (+ any characters you like) would react to MC asks them for a trip to Earth with them so they can go to her/his favorite K-Pop idols' concerts together. I think some of them would love to share the fun and even enjoy the chaotic atmosphere 😄

Hi anon! I know it's been a while since I've been over here on this blog, but it's bittersweet to be over here. And oo there was an ATEEZ tour just recently I think? A couple moots of mine went and they had a lot of fun so this should be cute to talk about with the bois.

Kings

Satan's always wanted to go to a concert, there are a couple on Gehenna but they don't always last so long before everyone gets too drunk/rowdy to continue. When MC invites him to the local K-pop concert that's in town he accepts. Thankfully, everyone is dressed up so he doesn't have to really change how he looks and everyone thinks the horns are just cosplay. MC picked good seats, and the concert starts and the crowd starts going wild. Satan watches, intrigued by the band's uniformed movements and outfits and a how the girls in the crowd scream every time there's a bit of fan service. There was a point....where he has an idea to go up on stage and join in, but yeah not happening when MC grabs him by the collar and forces him to stay put.

Well....going to a K-pop concert with Mammon is truly the VIP experience. He has his own boy group in Tartaros so he's familiar. He claims that's where humans got the idea from anyway. He buys out an entire section of the venue for him and MC and any friends they want to bring. it's a good thing he did buy out the section and it's balcony seating because no one would be able to see over him otherwise. Drinks, snacks, MC has it all. Mammon doesn't react much but he's happy to see that his Master is having so much he doesn't really care if he feels the music is a bit of a "copy" to his group.

If there's a local tour happening, Beelzebub is the devil to ask to travel to every single one with MC. He has no issues booking hotels, no flights because he can just "poof" them there, and it doesn't matter what seats they get at the venue because he's not going to stay in the section anyway. It's odd how no one seems to challenge him when he pulls MC through the crowd to get to the front, or somehow the two end up backstage and no one questions it. Perhaps that's just Beel's magic. But also he finds it intriguing to just travel, listen to good human music and have fun with his favorite human.

At first, asking Leviathan was like pulling teeth. Why would he want to go watch a bunch of humans that MC possibly finds attractive dance and sing across a stage and listen to a bunch of screaming from others who also found these humans attractive. They possibly can't be that entertaining. He ends up going anyway, but it doesn't go quite as what MC thought. Not only did they have to leave the venue due to the chaos that was caused by Levi arriving, but the K-pop group performing literally tried to recruit him and the manager was chasing them down for a few blocks. Let's just say, that Levi's jealous energy leaked onto everyone, and the fans literally began to fight each other and some tried to claw towards Levi thinking he was part of the group. He was amused, MC...was not lol

Lucifer isn't the one for crowds. If he does go to a concert with MC, he requests that they get the seats furthest away from people. Also because he can't exactly hide his bloodied wings that well, sitting in front of someone would a bit grisly. MC picks the best seats where they won't be disturbed even if they have to pay more to get them. But once the concert starts he seems a bit uncomfortable, so MC tries their best to get him to enjoy it with them the best they can. Eventually he does smile and says he enjoyed spending time with them, but it's best that he does it at home next go around.

Belphegor didn't even show up. He rolled the dice, it came up as an odd number so he laid back down in bed and said "better luck next time." Beleth didn't see a smoking section at the venue so he declined respectfully. Gusion isn't really the one for it, and Bathin is missing. Oddly, it's Agares that agrees to accompany MC. He finds the K-pop idols interesting, while he's peeling an orange and enjoying some fine liquor from the bar. It's a very different experience going with this devil, but hey it beats having paid for two tickets and going alone! Plus, a lot of compliments were thrown MC's way saying that Agares looks like a sexy sugar daddy. He also seems to appreciate the compliments, although MC had to explain to him exactly what the phrase means.

Nobles

Paimon and Eligos bother MC to go as a group. These two are already planning outfits, Eligos has eaten and packed snacks to sneak inside. Paimon is best sassing any rude fans that push MC or say something weird about their outfit. Eligos brought cash so he's of course paying for most of the merch, drinks, everything. Best seats, meet and greet, tons of photos. MC pretty much had a blast from the beginning of planning the trip all the way until coming back to Hell again.

Belial is another devil to accompany MC to a concert. I mean it's his entire thing to do this stuff. He leaves Jjyu with Ppyong so there isn't someone yelling out insults the entire time, and he wears his best outfit and brings glow sticks to cheer since he can't use his voice to show appreciation. The music has Belial in a trance, and he's even dancing and smiling. MC is having just as much fun and it's nothing but good vibes with Belial even if he can't vocally express his excitement.

Did I mention? That Amon would be a perfect devil to ask to go with to a concert? He already dresses the part, he's got the cool laid back energy, and he's totally boyfriend coded when he links arms/holds hands with MC if he feels someone is trying to hit on him while they're standing in line or defends them if someone is trying to skip the line. Now, when it comes to music, Amon may be a bit picky, but he's spending time with MC. To him this is the most fun he's had while not dealing with the day to day mess of Avisos. He gets to unwind and be himself for once. Plus he found a cute keychain he bought for Beel as a gift.

I've certainly got nightbringer brainrot as well. Here's my piece.

Satan is very clearly less in control of his anger and emotions in general, and even most of his brothers fear him at this point. Maybe he goes on a rampage, but this time the reader gets caught up in it somehow. Mc is hurt in the process after trying to help, and Satan comes to the harrowing realization that he was the cause.

Hm hm maybe some reverse comfort from reader? Satan that acts like a kicked puppy or perhaps he doubles down and makes things worse for himself.

Anyways I love nightbringer Satan! He doesn't seem the least bit threatening to me, it's very cute how angry he gets lol.

He didn’t realize what he’d done until it was already over. 

No, it wasn’t terrible at first glance, but he was worried. Incredibly worried. Worried to the point that he even called for Asmodeus’s help, despite not getting along with any of his brothers. 

There he sat, in your room, watching over you as you slept. There were long, white bandages wrapped delicately along your arm and a small potion on your bedside table that would help you heal faster. 

He’d lashed out—he was overstimulated and frustrated, experiencing feelings he didn’t like and they overwhelmed him. You’d only come in to ask to borrow a book, but between the new sound of your voice and the footsteps he could hear from the hallway, then the music he could hear because his door was open, no doubt from Mammon’s room, he couldn’t focus on anything other than the noise. It was all bad noise. 

And you ended up hurt. 

Your eyes fluttered open slowly and he sat up a bit straighter. He wanted to make sure you were okay. As gently as possible, he held your face and ran his thumb over your cheek. “Are you awake?” he asked, prepared to dart out of the room to get anything you requested of him. 

The next thing he knew, you were smiling at him. Smiling. He didn’t deserve for you to look at him like that—he’d hurt you, and you were smiling at him like he’d just handed you roses. 

“Don’t-don’t do that,” he muttered, pulling his hand away from you and hanging his head. He stared at his lap, trying not to sound angry at you. He wasn’t angry at you, he was angry with himself. But that’s what got you here in the first place—his anger. Wrath. The stupid powers he’d gotten stuck with because of his brothers decisions-

“You look upset,” you said softly, placing your hand over his. “I’m not mad at you, Satan. Don’t beat yourself up. I know you can’t always…control your magic as well as you’d like to.”

“Not–not beat myself up? Are you–” he was about to start yelling, he could feel the tension and heat rising in his body. Instead, though, he tried to take a deep breath and relax. “I’m sorry. I’m trying–”

“I know you are. That’s why I’m not upset. I don’t think you get enough credit for how hard you try, actually.” You slowly shifted, sitting up a little farther and sliding closer to the wall. With that, you patted the bed next to you, signaling him to sit with you, so he did. 

He tensed immediately when you laid your head against his shoulder, but slowly relaxed into the soft touch. He didn’t deserve all this, but you were willing to show how much you cared about him. 

Usually, when he felt hot, it was anger. But he couldn’t stop the heat from rising in his cheeks when you took his hand as well. Such a small action had a whirlwind of feelings going through his mind. However, he didn’t want to ruin the moment. Instead, he sat there in silence, allowing you to slowly fall in and out of sleep on his arm. It was the first moment of peace he’d felt since arriving in the Devildom.

Don't take things for granted

The halls of the palaces of Hades was silences, as if there wasn't a single soul living in this well kept palace. However, tonight rare sound of foot steps echoes eerily through these halls as Leviathan, the king of Hades and the sin of envy walks down the halls of his palaces.

Oh these rare nights, Leviathan instead of taking the quicker route from his office to his bedroom, he took the longer path to his bedroom. Cause in this path, is where he can pass by the human's room.

His nobles notice this sudden habit that their majesty has been doing, however they dare not mention this. Cause it was clear that their majesty was doing this to check on the human staying with them here in Hades.

Often Leviathan will order some of them to take the human from Gehenna so they can test the human's power that they "inherited" from long past friend of the devils... Well some at least.

Leviathan feels conflicted at times whenever he takes the long path to his bedroom. On one hand, he doesn't need to check on you, because he doesn't care... however in the back of his mind, he knows that you are a fragile human in hell. If weren't for the tests and training you've been doing with Solomon's power, you will still be a helpless human and a world of devils and angels... beings that can kill you and-

Leviathan clicked his tongue at annoyance of that thought. Why does he care? He's only keeping you alive cause you agreed to help them protect hell. Nothing more.

He won't hesitant to kill you, if he sees even just 1% chance that you are a threat. Nothing would have been lost if he kills you.

Is not like he hasn't seen Satan's Wrath or Mammon's fury-

Suddenly, Leviathan stopped dead on his track... He can senses a presences in his palace. A strong presences that can rival his power.

Fury filled his eyes as he start walking, but he quicken his pace as if he is practically running.

He can feel that he is getting closer to the unknown presences, but it didn't calm his nerve. Cause he knew where the intruder is.

Made it to his destination, your room.

He scowled for a second before opening the door to your room with all his force, slamming the doors open.

"Shh~ You're going to wake them" Leviathan was not please seeing who is siting on the edge of your bed, gently caressing your neck, and brushed some of your hair off your sleeping face.

"What are you doing here Beelzebub" Leviathan said with a tone of annoyances

The other king was leaning close to you, almost as if he was ready to give you a kiss on your kiss when Leviathan asked. Only Beelzebub just glance at him before looking back at you.

"Just checking on MC" He casually said it as he caress your cheek.

Leviathan walk closer, angry in his eyes. Is bad enough that Beelzebub is in his region, but he is inside his palaces, in the room of his guest.

But deep down, he hates how Beelzebub refers to you by your name. That got to him more, than Beelzebub being here uninvited.

"How many times you'll hurt them" That made Leviathan stop dead on his track.

"How the hell did he just say?" Leviathan though. And quickly his face turned dark. "Rich coming from you." Leviathan spat those with a lace of venom.

That made Beelzebub pause before turning his head towards at Leviathan. The other king eyes widen slightly for a sec when he sees Beelzebub with a serious look on his face, before fade back to a darken look on his face.

"They're human Levi-"

"That doesn't concern you! You can barely run your region, so why are you concern about this human-"

"They are my concern Leviathan, if they die. We. Lose" Beelzebub looks at Beelzebub stood up, which made Leviathan involuntary took half a step back. Leviathan stare into Beelzebub's eyes. There he saw something that he saw only once, when Beelzebub killed a Seraph.

Often, the others forget that Beelzebub was the first of the kings who killed a Seraph, a accomplishment that Leviathan dreams of doing.

No one was sure what made Beelzebub killed a seraph, And only Beelzebub himself knows.

"If your concerned then stay by their side-"

"I wished that I could..." Beelzebub murmurers those words quietly, that surprise Leviathan.

There was silences for a good while, the two kings stood there looking at each other.

Suddenly shook his head to the side before flashing Leviathan a smirk before beginning to walk over to Leviathan, he stop when he was close enough to the other king and place a hand on his shoulder. He leans close to the other ear and whispered "I remember Solomon saying this... "don't take things for granted" or Something like that"

Before Leviathan could say anything, Beelzebub shattered into thousands and thousands of flies and flew around the room for a second before leaving through the window that open itself once the flies got near and closed itself.

A little baffled with what just happened. Leviathan face turn stoic once again before looking back at the bed where you were still sleeping.

He walked closer and saw that there was a dark bruise in shape of a rope around your neck. He stared of a second, reach out and gently grace his finger tips on your neck.

He then quietly leans down. slide his arms under your back and behind your knees and lift you up in his arms, bring you close. He looks down to see if he stirred you up, but you did the opposite you lean in close to his chest, and instinctually he brought you closer to him, he then proceed to walk out of the room with you in his arms.

He is planning to monitor you in his room. Nothing more.

Leviathan however, didn't realize that he was being watched by a fly on the wall, satisfied it flew out of the room when Leviathan left, and closed the door behind him.
