Hey guys it's your Girl Samantha here again I know that it's been a long time since I've done a story but I finally got one and I've been thinking some ideas for another story but here's one for you and I hope you like it.

**Title: "Rescue from the Abyss"**

### Beginning:

It was a quiet night at the park. The usual group of friends had all gone their separate ways for the evening, leaving Mordecai feeling alone. He sat in his bed, staring out of the window, his heart heavy with sadness. A few hours ago, he had tried to get the others to hang out, but nobody seemed interested. Rigby was off playing video games, Benson was busy with paperwork, and even Pops was engrossed in some old-timey documentary. Everyone ignored him, and now Mordecai lay in bed, tears streaming down his face.

**Mordecai:** "Why does it feel like no one cares about me anymore?"

He whispered to himself, as his sadness deepened.

Suddenly, the sky outside turned an ominous shade of red. The air felt thick, and an unnatural chill swept through the room. Mordecai sat up, heart racing, eyes wide with fear.

**Mordecai:** "What’s going on?!"

The ground trembled as a crack opened beneath the park. From the depths of the abyss, demons and spirits began to rise, their dark forms swirling like smoke. Before Mordecai could react, chains wrapped around his limbs, dragging him into the swirling darkness.

### Middle:

Meanwhile, Samantha stirred in her sleep. Something felt wrong. She opened her eyes and gasped as she saw the blood-red sky and heard the faint cry of Mordecai’s voice.

**Samantha:** "Mordecai?!"

Panicking, she raced to the window just in time to witness him being pulled into the abyss. Tears of fear welled up in her eyes. She didn’t know what was happening, but she had to act fast.

She rushed to get the others. Within minutes, Rigby, Benson, Pops, Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, Skips, and Thomas gathered at the park. They all looked horrified as Samantha explained what she saw.

**Samantha:** "They took him…into some kind of…hellish abyss! We have to save him!"

**Benson:** "We can't just let him go. Mordecai is our friend! But how are we supposed to get to… wherever that is?"

**Skips:** "I've heard of this before. There’s a way to the Abyss of Hell, but it’s dangerous. Once we go in, there might not be a way back."

Despite the fear, everyone agreed. Mordecai needed them.

They descended into the abyss. The landscape shifted around them—lava rivers flowed, skies burned, and the stench of sulfur filled the air. They walked carefully, knowing that one misstep would mean certain death. As they approached the Demon Realm, they could hear distant chanting and saw Mordecai being dragged by demons to a dark chamber.

### Then:

At the center of the chamber stood Satan, the Prince of all Demons. His dark form loomed over the scene, as other demons like Lucifer, Lilith, Barbatos, Stolas, and Shaitan gathered around.

**Satan:** "Tonight, we shall gain eternal youth and strength by sacrificing this mortal’s pure soul and heart! The ritual begins at midnight sharp!"

Mordecai, chained to a stone altar, looked around helplessly. His face was marked with strange symbols, and his heart raced as the clock ticked closer to midnight. He knew his time was running out.

Back in the shadows, Samantha and the gang had finally arrived. They watched in horror as the demons painted Mordecai’s body with sacred symbols and chained him tighter to the altar.

**Rigby:** "What are we going to do?!"

**Skips:** "We have to wait for the right moment. If we attack too soon, we might all get captured."

Midnight struck. The demons began chanting, and Satan, with a dagger in hand, approached Mordecai. He placed his hand on Mordecai’s chest, pushing it deep inside to take his heart.

**Satan:** "The time has come! With this heart, we will live forever!"

Samantha, trembling with fear, saw Satan pull Mordecai’s heart from his chest. Mordecai’s eyes grew wide with pain and fear as his life force began to drain.

**Samantha:** "Nooooooo!!!"

### End:

Samantha’s scream echoed through the chamber, but it was too late. Mordecai’s body went limp as Satan held his still-beating heart aloft.

**Satan:** "Now, the final blow!"

He raised the dagger high, preparing to end Mordecai’s life forever. But in that instant, Samantha and the others sprang into action. Muscle Man and Hi-Five Ghost tackled demons, while Rigby and Thomas distracted Satan. Pops, despite his gentle nature, threw objects to confuse the demons.

**Benson:** "We need to get that heart back!"

Samantha, fueled by her love for Mordecai, charged toward Satan. Skips began chanting a spell, an ancient incantation that could banish demons. The chamber rumbled as Skips' words gained power. One by one, the demons started to vanish.

**Skips:** "Now! Get the heart!"

With a swift movement, Samantha grabbed Mordecai’s heart from Satan’s grasp. The room shook violently, and the lava began to rise. The entire realm started collapsing as the gang made a frantic escape.

Back in the park, Samantha cradled Mordecai’s heart in her hands. She placed it back into his chest and began chanting softly, a long spell filled with emotion. Tears streamed down her face as she leaned down and kissed him.

**Samantha:** "Please come back. I love you so much."

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, Mordecai’s body twitched. Slowly, his eyes fluttered open.

**Mordecai:** "S-Samantha?"

Everyone sighed in relief, especially Samantha, who hugged him tightly.

**Samantha:** "You’re back…you’re okay."

### Conclusion:

The nightmare had ended, and Mordecai was saved. The friends gathered around him, exhausted but relieved.

**Rigby:** "Man, don't ever do that again."

**Benson:** "We barely made it out of there."

Mordecai smiled weakly, his hand in Samantha’s.

**Mordecai:** "Thanks, guys. I…I thought I was gone for good."

**Samantha:** "I’d never let that happen."

As the night returned to normal, the friends sat together, knowing that despite the darkness they faced, their bond was unbreakable.

There's also the tumblr post here but I recommend the link in the title because its the ao3 version, and that one is edited and has some stuff in it that's not in the tumblr post, and will be the version I'm using.

So for summary: this Danyal is also from a Demon Siblings Au where Danny is five years older than Damian. However, things turned out a bit differently, and Danny and Damian had a fantastic relationship with one another. Danny loved music and regularly came up with songs to sing to Damian with. Specifically the folk band Yaelokre's EP "Hayfields" (seriously go fucking listen to it its sooo good. Harpy Hare is the second song but its my favorite. Special shoutout to @gascansposts for introducing the band to me)

He falls off a train when he's twelve and Damian is seven while the two of them and Talia are on mission. He ends up with magically induced amnesia and wakes up in Arkansas while the Fentons are on their yearly Divorce-iversary visit to Aunt Alica, and since he can only remember his name, he ends up being taken into their care.

Yaelokre Danny has the same facial scar as Things in Threes Danyal, since he was initially another version of him where things turned out better. I'm debating on whether or not I should take it away however, and give him a different scar (maybe from when he fell off the train?), just because the scar is a pretty key identifier for Ti3 Danyal.

Danny frequently visits Aunt Alicia in Arkansas! Well, only after he gets settled in and stuff. He doesn't really like the city that much and prefers the countryside where Alicia lives. I know she lives in a cabin but I'm changing it to a farm, so she puts Danny to work and gets him to help her.

I don't want to confine his hobbies to only being star stuff, because people tend to have more than one hobby and I feel like it reduces him to one-dimensionality, so he likes to garden, and learns guitar. His room becomes filled with plants, and he turns their roof into a rooftop greenhouse right below to OPS Center.

He has a complex relationship with the weapons from his past, but he's not... like... appalled by it? When he finds his weapons in the Fenton attic all he thinks is that they're his weapons, and he starts carrying a knife on him afterwards. Essentially he becomes fascinated with weaponry because its one of the few physical ties he has to his past, and while he's not training like he is in the League, he allows his strong muscle memory to guide him through his katas.

Danny likes climbing things. This causes Problems For Everyone Else.

Danny was not the "kinder Al Ghul" in the League. His kindness extended to his brother and family, and that's it. To everyone else he had high expectations out of them, and the pride you'd expect from the grandson of Ra's Al Ghul and trained by its top members. While he wasn't like, unnecessarily cruel or anything, he wasn't merciful either.

This transfers post-train fall as him coming off as no-nonsense and unforgiving. He's not fond of the idea of giving people second chances, and is skeptical of the idea. He's disgusted by incompetency and views it as an unforgivable offense, especially if he thinks that the person should know better, although he's not sure why. Some egocentrism for the soul.

He doesn't like being touched by anyone who isn't family, and gets irritated when anyone grabs him or holds onto him for extended amounts of time. Dash has gotten hit so many times. With Jack Fenton's tendency for abrupt physical affection, it doesn't make it any better. I'd argue it'd make it worse because Danny doesn't want to be touched more often than not.

Danyal had a red scarf in the League that he wore on his last mission, it came off before he fell off and caught itself on the roof. Damian still has it and took it with him to Wayne Manor. He's got it locked in his room and takes it out when he's alone and missing Danny the most. One time he forgot to put it away before leaving his room, and Dick was visiting the manor for something and found it. Damian found him holding it and freaked out.

Dick could only say "I've never seen you wear this, Damian, this is really pretty--" before Damian shoved him to the floor and stole it out of his hands, before screaming at him; "Don't touch this! You don't ever touch this! This is mine! You hear me!?"

It caused such a commotion that the rest of the family present came to see what the fuss was about, and Damian kicked them all out of his room. Dick is the one brother Damian's the closest with, so the fact he reacted so strongly shocked them all.

This is likely what leads to the "Danyal" conversation.

Rivalries (at least ones that aren’t in the pre-existing lore, Ala Viggo and riders, Alpheus and Ant, so on and so forth…)

I genuinely don’t really see Snotlout and Alpheus getting along. Their personalities clash too much, and Snotlout just gets beef with anyone new in this story, due to trying to protect the other riders. Alpheus being a little pompous and cocky and ‘so this is the brainless muscle-head?’ Upon first meeting didn’t really help either. Lots of petty pranks and fights between these two, with poor Ant playing mediator, albeit reluctantly due to not knowing Alpheus too well himself, he just knows Snotlout. Honestly I’m not sure about Alpheus and Dagur either, i don’t know if Alpheus would play nice with someone named Deranged, though I do see Dagur enjoying messing with him, but that’s neither here nor there-

Kaiko and Viggo have had beef for longer than Fontaine has been alive, so Viggo starts sweating when he realizes that Ant is Kaikos kid. She also scares him a little bit…or a lot a bit. Assassination attempts have been had, on both sides. As well as petty smack downs with whatever they can get their hands on. Like the drawing above, where little-sibling-extraordinaire Viggo (not to be confused to these two being siblings, just that their fights can resemble sibling fights sometimes) is utterly losing.

Camicazi and Mad Madeline are a case of thief meets thief, but Madeline is better at it than Camicazi, with the additional bonus of being a sea-faring pirate, and also being nearly five to six years younger than Camicazi. And Camicazi HATES someone being better at something than she is, especially something she insists on being so good at. So naturally they clash. Maddie spends most of it just messing with Camicazi, much to the older girls infuriation.

I would like to clarify that Astrid and Fontaine’s rivalry has nothing to do with race, though Astrid has never really interacted with a person of color due to the overall whiteness of the Archipelago, Ant being the only person with darker skin she’s ever met till she leaves the Archipelago. No, it’s because they’re both stubborn, Astrid hates being called out on her not-so-great actions, and being held responsible for those actions, and Fontaine loves pointing this out and poking the metaphorical sleeping bear that is an easy-to-piss-off Astrid Hofferson. There may be a bit of petty grudge-holding due to what Fontaine has heard about stuff that happened between Astrid and Ant too, which also pisses Astrid off. Fontaine has the same flaw of being incapable of acknowledging her own mistakes though, so Astrid makes plenty of jabs in her direction too with the same effectiveness.

Heather is obsessed with Kari’s dragon Ardyn, and Kari is mad about the time she straight up tried to run off with Ardyn. This is probably the pettiest of rivalries here, next to Camicazi and Madeline anyways. Heather pretty much just pulled an Alpheus and started having beef with a thirteen year old for no real reason beyond spite and petty rage. Granted, little Kari is a menace who is not above biting, and has bitten Heather, so there’s some of a reasonable grudge there. (Especially not helped by Heathers older brother teaching the little brat how to shoot a crossbow-) It’s hard to feel justified venting to someone about it though when you’re reminded you’re getting into squabbles with a tweenager a head and a half shorter than you who hasn’t even started puberty yet. Heather’s younger than Alpheus is in the show, so it’s a little less embarrassing when she loses, especially when it’s over something wildly different

These are the ones I can think of, and I’ve got doodles i want to draw to further elaborate on these dynamics, that might not come to light in the actual story itself. I dunno yet, we’ll see. I’m juggling a couple of things irl at the moment, so new stuff might be a bit scarce, but i’m hoping to send chapter three to my beta in a few days! So hopefully chapter three comes out sometime in the next few weeks
