Got any romantic world war (1 or 2) prompts? Like ones a medic and treats them when they're wounded and it's love at first sight?
Love you and your prompts btw– x
Medic x Soldier Prompts
-> feel free to edit and adjust pronouns as you see fit.
"How are you feeling, soldier?" the medic huffed, rummaging through their bag for the bandages. The soldier, laid in bed with their arms crossed behind their head, smirked. "Better now that you're here."
The medic rushed across the barren field, bag slamming against their back as they raced to the fallen soldier. It was a drill gone wrong, some poor sap's stray bullet striking another solider. The medic pushed through the crowd surrounding the soldier, collapsing to their knees next to him. His face was scrunched with pain, sweat coating his dirty face. His eyes fell upon the medic, relief immediately flooding his senses. "Thank god," he groaned. "I've never been so happy to see someone before." The medic's heart skipped a beat, quickly getting to work to treat his wounds.
"You're a life saver," the soldier sighed. The medic felt the corner of their lips tug upwards. "That's what I'm here for."
The medic ripped open his uniform, revealing his chest and the wound that was pouring blood. They pressed a hand against it to stop the blood flow as they quickly rummaged through their bag to get the materials they needed. "You're not going to die today, soldier," the medic told him. "You hear me? You're not going to die. Not on my watch." A single tear fell from the soldier's eye.
"You're too careless," the medic scolded, wrapping the soldier's leg after stitching up his wound. "Am I careless?" the soldier asked, "or do I just want an excuse to see you?" The medic fixed him with a look, jostling his leg just a little so he winced. "You don't need a reason to come see me."

Tired/sleepy prompts please!
Here we go :)
Tired/sleepy prompts
A and B huddling on the couch together under a fluffy blanket after a long day, just enjoying the shared warmth and closeness.
A loves to watch B sleep since that's the only time B's features aren't shadowed by worries.
B refusing to get up in the morning because the sheets are so soft and A is too warm to let go.
A and B have to share a bed for a reason. During the night, A realises B rolled over to them and is mumbling how much they like A.
B knows A has trouble sleeping lately and decides to tell them a story to hopefully lull them to sleep.
Lazy morning cuddles when neither of them has to get up yet.
B coming home after a hard day at work and curling on A's lap.
A and B falling asleep in the blanket fort they built.
I hope these helped :) Have a great day!

Whumpee and Caretaker have been friends for years, both secretly in love with and pining for the other. Whumpee gets taken by Whumper, then rescued and while in the hospital, loopy on painkillers and half-asleep. they tell Caretaker that they love them. Caretaker is surprised, but doesn't believe it because Whumpee
- is on *all* the Painkillers. - has been through massive trauma - Is half-asleep when they say it.
So when Whumpee wakes up properly and doesn't seem to remember the confession, Caretaker doesn't bring it up. Until like six months later, Whumpee says it again, wide awake, completely lucid and having been to a few therapy sessions. And Caretaker finally says it back

When whumpee was rescued, caretaker was the one who had nightmares and panic attacks.
Waking up in the middle of the night in a cold-sweat thinking whumpee's been taken again; running to their room to make sure they were still safe and asleep in their bed for the third time that night.

having soft thoughts of a sickie feeling guilty about puking up all the food caretaker made for them with so much love and care:
sickie having to maintain appearances, even as their poor stomach revolts agaisnt the heavy meal sitting inside it
sickie who can't help but grimace at the sight/smell/texture of the food, which makes caretaker think they might've messed it up
sickie clutching/hugging their middle as they try their hardest not to puke, thinking of the smile caretaker had on as they watched them eat, thinking they finally were starting to recover
sickie who has a hand clasped over their mouth, holding it tight to keep the food in no matter what, even to the protests of caretaker who's trying to tell them to just let it out, don't try to hold it
sickie who ends up losing the barely digested food over the blankets, sobbing apologies to a caretaker who's more worried about their well-being than anything else

Caretaker-turned-whumpers who are SO deep in denial
They're doing everything for Whumpee's good! It's in their best interest that they be tied up to the bed, otherwise they might break something during one of their episodes and hurt themselves. A little slap here or there for discipline's sake never killed anyone, Whumpee still needs to behave. Exposing them to triggers is only going to build up their mental resilience! And of course Whumpee is in no real mental state to make decisions for themselves so it's for the best that someone else handle it all for a while. Caretaker only wants them to get better!

whump prompts I live for
When Whumpee still acts fearless and unaffected, even after being rescued/escaping from Whumper, so their friends think they’re fine. Then one day whumpee is reminded of their time with Whumper and all there suppressed emotions start coming out and their friends are freaked out because they have never seen them cry before.
when caretaker and whumpee have been friends for years and have always trusted each other with literally everything, but after whumper broke whumpee down to nothing and filled their head with lies, they don’t know who they can trust. They flinch away from any kind of contact with caretaker and won’t tell them about their trauma or let them clean up their wounds. They keep telling caretaker they can do everything themselves, until one day they can’t and caretaker has to save the day, helping to rebuild that trust.
when whumpee is distant and cold but after being given drugs to help with the pain of their wounds (Forcefully or not), they are all giggly and unable to control their own body, so caretaker has to treat them kinda like a baby as they clean up their wounds and get them to bed all while whumpee babbles incoherently. (Bonus points if whumpee ends up confessing something to caretaker while drugged, especially if it’s that they love them.)
When the Whumper is trying to break Whumpees spirit, but whumpee keeps on making jokes and messing with Whumper, even while being tortured. That is, until things get a little too…intense and everything goes really silent and oh! Is that a tear I see? Now whumpee is sobbing and begging for the whumper to stop, unable to keep up their witty appearance and absolutely hating themself for it.
Whumpee has a huge fear of vomit but has gotten super sick and needs to puke up all the stuff in their stomach. They keep telling caretaker that they are fine, even though they obviously aren’t. Their face is glossy with sweat as they swallow, hoping not to puke. Eventually caretaker has to drag them to the bathroom and force them to vomit, (ie; touching their gag reflex, pushing on their stomach, describing gross things as Whumpee leans over the toilet bowl.) much to the dismay of Whumpee who is hating every minute of this, even though they know it’s good for them. (Bonus points if Whumper is the reason they are sick, like they gave them the flu or force fed them or gave them poison, etc etc.)

I was petting my kitty and she was purring so hard and it made me think of caretaker gently scratching a non-human whumpee and they start purring in contentment.
Or maybe it's whumper who starts petting them. Wouldn't that be humiliating for poor whumpee.

Allow me to emphasise: cozy-sick vibes
A sick character sitting up in bed, a fuzzy blanket draped over their legs. They're dressed in a comfy sweater, or even a onesie, trying to keep themselves as warm as possible.
A sick character cradling a warm cup of soothing, herbal tea in their cold hands, sipping on it delicately in hopes of easing their stomach cramps.
Sickie's concerned friend dropping by to visit them and bringing along a stuffed animal as a present. Sickie cuddles up with the present, and is perhaps gifted a forehead kiss or two~
Sickie's s/o runs a warm bath for them in an attempt to soothe their lover's cold, stiff muscles.
Soup is a compulsory meal in a sickfic. I don't even need to point this out :)
A sly caretaker is always good. Perhaps sickie refuses to take their medicine, so caretaker offers to make them a warm drink and sneakily mixes the medicine with said drink.
May I mention... ✨️belly rubs✨️ There's something so adorable about a sick character being soothed in this way. Belly rubs don't even have to serve a medical purpose; the intention could just be to comfort the sickie physically.

Can I get some prompts of a single parent struggling to take care of a baby? Like to the point where they are starting to lose sleep or is just that stressed? The baby could be theirs or one they adopted/found abandoned. I really don't mind if it's either Angst or Fluff. Anyways I know this is a bit specific and I hope it's not too much. I really love all of your prompts! I hope you have a wonderful day/night! Keep up the fantastic prompts! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the kind words!
Single Parenting Prompts
-> feel free to edit and adjust pronouns as you see fit.
"I'm just so afraid of messing it up," she admitted, her voice small. "Everything I do matters, and one wrong move could alter their entire future." She spared a glance at the baby asleep in their crib, blissfully unaware of the uncertainty and fear she was feeling.
"When they get older, they're going to realize everything you've done for them. There will be bumps in the road, there always is. But at the end of the day, they're going to see how hard you tried to give them the perfect life. And that's what they're going to remember."
He felt like pulling his hair out. "I haven't slept in weeks," he admitted, voice strained and dark spots under his eyes prominent. "I didn't realize how hard it was to take care of a baby."
They blinked open their eyes at the sound of the baby crying. There goes any hope of getting a full night's rest. They drag themselves out of bed and lift the baby from the crib. She practically melts into their touch, tears easing up at just the notion of being held. "It's going to be a long night, huh?" They ask the baby, already rubbing soothing circles on her back.
Parenting was hard. A lot harder than he thought it was going to be. But it was moments like these-- when the baby looked up at him like he was their entire world with a smile on their face-- that made it worth it.
"Your grandmother used to sing this to me," she said softly to the baby in her arms, "every night before bed."
They needed a break. They needed to step back. They needed to... they didn't know what they needed to do. Never in a million years did they think they would be responsible for caring for a baby. They definitely hadn't planned on it, that was for sure. But, now they had one. And they hadn't the slightest clue of what to do with it.
"This baby needs me, right now," she said with force in her lungs. "I don't have a single idea of what I'm doing, but that doesn't change the fact that it is my responsibility. And I'm going to take care of it."

Still wearing pajamas and warmed only by a cardigan, socks, and a blanket around his thighs, Whumpee sat in an armchair on the terrace and was propped up by pillows on either side. Beside him, Caretaker sat with him, accompanying him in a sweater and long skirt. The air still felt cold, even though it was already 9 a.m. Maybe the influence of early autumn.
Besides the two, there was a round table with two bowls of potato soup with thin slices of crispy beef and two glasses of water. Whumpee's favorite soup he started eating today after being able to only eat watery soup for a while.
Whumpee sat facing directly towards the lake, with the forest several tens of meters from the cabin where they were. His gaze was calm and peaceful, as if he no longer had any burdens to carry. Occasionally, Whumpee receives a bite of his soup from Caretaker who patiently helps him eat.
"Want to go there?" Caretaker offered after wiping Whumpee's mouth. "We can go to the lake this afternoon when it's warmer, if you want."
Caretaker returned to feeding Whumpee, saying, "It's not good to stay inside all the time. You need a new atmosphere and a breath of fresh air other than on this terrace."
"I like it in here," Whumpee answered after swallowing his soup. "But I guess it wouldn't be bad to go to the lake there. What's there?"
"Not much, but I thought you'd like it," Caretaker stroked the back of Whumpee's hand. "We can see beautiful views. Now and then, some people come to fish or boat. Freshly caught fish from the lake tastes delicious. There are lots of rabbits there. There are very beautiful flower fields when spring comes. If you're lucky, you can see a deer or a fox peeking shyly from the opposite forest."
"That sounds interesting. I think I'll want to go there later," said Whumpee. "I'm surprised; I never knew you had a cabin here."
"This belonged to my late parents. When I was little, we often came here to vacation and relax from the hustle and bustle of the city," explained Caretaker with a smile, and she returned to feeding soup to Whumpee. "A suitable place for your recovery, right? Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and you don't have to worry about anything here."
Whumpee smiled and held Caretaker's hand. "Yes, it feels very comfortable. Thank you."
Caretaker smiled and grabbed Whumpee's hand back. "Come on, let's finish your breakfast, take medicine, clean up, then let's get ready to go to the lake!" said Caretaker cheerfully.
"You say that, but you haven't touched your food at all. You just keep feeding me," protested Whumpee. "Your soup is getting cold."
Caretaker laughed, "How about it, huh? I'm full just watching you eat like this."
"What answer is that?" Whumpee protested again but didn't refuse when a spoonful of soup was brought to his mouth. "Eat too, Caretaker."
Caretaker laughed and started feeding herself soup, making Whumpee smile widely. Caretaker feels very grateful for simple moments like this. Seeing Whumpee get healthier and hearing about the good progress of the problems they were having with Whumper. Indeed, it's not every day that they feel calm because now and then the Team Leader or other members come and give them lots of news, or they provide updates on the tasks that the Team Leader has given them. Hey, even though Caretaker and Whumpee are far from the Team, they still carry out their duties well. Except for Whumpee, who still needs a lot of rest.

Prompt List!
Hi :) Here is a fancy new updated version of my prompt list! I switched out most of them, but you're sure to find a few repeats. The old ones are linked here and you can choose off of that list as well if you wish!

"Could you pass me a tissue, please?"
"I think I might have a fever."
"I can't believe I caught this cold at the worst possible time."
"I'm trying to stay strong, but it's getting harder."
"My head is pounding."
"I wish this illness would just go away already."
"I'm so tired, even just talking feels like an effort."
"I don't want to be a bother, but I need help.”
"I can't taste anything. This is the worst."
"I'll be fine; it's just a minor bug."
"I'm sorry if I seem distant. It's just the fever taking a toll on me."
"I feel like I've been hit by a truck."
"I'm not sure how much longer I can tough it out."
"My throat is so sore; I can barely swallow."
"I keep shivering. Can you pass me a blanket?"
"I'm coughing so much, it's starting to hurt."
"I hate feeling so weak and helpless."
"I wish I could join everyone, but I don't want to get them sick."
"I don't want anyone to worry about me."
"I know I need to rest, but there's so much to do."
"It feels like I've been like this forever."
"I can't believe how much my body aches."
"I'm really grateful for your company. It helps distract me from feeling awful."
"I'm just going to close my eyes for a bit..."
"I think I need to lie down for a while."
"This headache is killing me..."
"I can't believe I let myself get this sick."
"I'm feeling really dizzy.”
"I don't have the energy to do anything right now."
"I'm trying to stay positive, but it's tough."
"I just want to feel better already."
"Could you hand me the thermometer? I want to check my temperature."
"I've never felt this awful before."
"I feel like I'm burning up."
"I can't stop sneezing."
"I should have taken better care of myself."
"I'm worried it might be more than just a simple cold."
"I wish I had someone to take care of me.
"I'm feeling really weak and achy."
"I hate that I'm missing out on all the fun because of this."
"I can't even focus on anything with this headache."
"I never appreciated being healthy until now."
"I'm trying to drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated."
"I just want to sleep and forget about everything for a while."
"I'm scared it might be something serious."
"I'm tired of coughing."
"I'm fine, really. It's just a little cold."
"I think I caught something. My head is pounding."
"I don't want to be a burden..."
"I'm so cold..."
"I can still go on the mission."
"I don't want anyone to see me like this."
"Sorry, I can't stop sneezing."
"Thanks for taking care of me."
"I don't want to spread this to anyone else."
"I hate feeling so helpless."
"I don't need your pity."
"I don't remember the last time I felt this awful."
"I wish I could be out there, helping everyone."
"Why does it have to be so cold?"
“Can you just…hug me?”
“Don’t leave, please.”
“I swear I wasn’t this sick this morning.”
“Yes, I took medicine.”
“You’re sure I’m sick? ‘Cause I feel fine.”
“I really cannot be sick right now.”
“Everyone gets colds. I’ll live.”
“I really hope this is just my allergies.”
“Stop thinking so loud; my head hurts.”
"I'm scared."
"I can't even talk properly."
"I feel like I'm letting everyone down."
"You're making a big deal out of nothing."
"I'm so tired..."
"I'm sorry for getting you involved in this mess."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you..."
"I hate being sick. It's so frustrating."
"I can't seem to get warm..."
"I feel terrible for canceling our plans."
"I just want this to be over..."
"Thanks for taking care of me."
"I don't want to burden anyone.”
"I feel useless like this."
"I sound terrible, don't I?"
"I'm sorry if I'm being difficult..."
〘Types of Sickie〙
99.9% Immunity - they never get sick, right? Wrong.
Elephant in the Room - they’re sick, but for some reason, perhaps rank or personality, no one is talking about it. Until it gets bad.
Heroes Don’t Take Sick Days - there’s no time to rest when you have to save the world, so sickie has to push themselves even when miserable.
Insult to Injury - as if being injured wasn’t enough, now they’re getting sick too.
Ill Timed - it is the worst possible time for them to be sick, but their body didn’t get the memo.
Irreplaceable - they are the leader or the boss and aren’t able to take personal time off, even when they’re sick.
It’s Nothing - they insist they’re fine, right up until they collapse.
Medic Down - How do the other characters handle it when their usual caretaker is sick?
Milking It - if they’re sick, they’re at least going to get as much pampering out of it as they can.
Not a Word - sickie said they don’t get sick and isn’t in the mood for anyone to remind them while they recover.
Stepping Up - boss/leader is clearly miserable, so the others go out of their way to take as much of their workload as possible.
Suffer in Silence - for whatever reason, they don’t want anyone to know they’re sick and do everything they can to hide it.
Team Mom/Dad - the typical team Mom/Dad gets sick, leaving the others to scramble to take care of them.
〘Sickie Scenarios〙
🥀Feeling so out of it, they need constant attention.
🌹Barefoot sleeping wanderings.
🪷Being let back to bed with patient whispers.
🌷Collapsing into someone’s waiting arms.

"I made some soup for you. It's supposed to be good for healing."
"You should stay in bed and let me handle everything else."
"I'll handle all the chores; you just focus on getting better."

"I'll keep you company so you won't feel alone."
"I'll make sure the room is quiet so you can rest."
"I'm here to take care of you, no matter what."
