Love how the idea of Marvel's What If...? is infinite possibilities, but the MCU just keeps fucking focusing on Captain Carter in the show.

Now that I have slept and had time to process it all, I still can’t believe this happened last night. It feels so surreal and like a dream. I can officially say, SEBASTIAN STAN IS A GOLDEN GLOBE WINNER. Let’s fucking go. I was happy regardless just with him being nominated. But he did it. I was watching with my mom so I had to keep my cool but on the inside I was cheering. My smile was so big and almost had tears in my eyes when he was giving his speech. Anthony being there and making a heart while saying they’re still friends was icing on the cake. My TFATWS Captain America and the Winter Soldier heart is so full. The first thing I remember watching Sebastian on was Once Upon A Time when I was in high school. I had no idea who he was. I just knew Jefferson was my favorite. Years later, I watched Captain America: Civil War out of random on tv and I was wondering why the actor for Bucky looked so familiar. After googling the cast, I was like that’s the guy from OUAT. It was like a two for one, not only did I get hooked on Marvel, I also found my favorite actor and got to check out the rest of their filmography. He just keeps getting better and better. Although Sebastian is handsome, he’s more than that. He’s also versatile, wise, puts his all into his work, and down to Earth. I’ve never admired an actor so much til now. I can’t wait for ADM to be on MAX so I can watch it. I’m beyond proud of you, Sebastian 🥹❤️🏆🫶🏼

sometimes interpreting media through a shipping lens enhances it, on occasion even beyond the author’s original intent, but sometimes, you do have to accept that your ship was not in the heads of anyone making the source material and trying to force it to fit into evidence of your ship will severely hinder your ability to discuss the actual text.

As August draws to a close, let's take a trip down memory lane and witness...
.. a decade of Augusts with Kasper
#a lot of these aren't organised in a timeline manner just in the way they fit best with the frames#the first two are 2014 and last Sunday#the way he was 28 years old in that first photo.. only a year younger than me currently... and yet he was a wholeass MAN#*actually he hadn't turned 28 yet in that photo so he'd be 27 but still it's the year he turned 28 anyway#in 2014 i was 19 years old.. this whole concept is so funny to me.. by August of that year i was signing up for a course... wild concept#looking back on his years and pairing that with what i was doing in x year and time is always both funny and shattering to me#anyway the last 3 photos are 2021; 2022; 2023#which make them along with this year the only years of Kasper i've actually seen#it's so wild to think that now#i'm just glad that this August photo he's smilling and looks happy#Kasper Schmeichel#king thicccness#danish captain america
