Its so so fucked that the tablet was literally made for Ahkmenrah, to bring him back to life, and he spent over 50 years listening to everything around him live while being stuck in his sarcophagus and getting more and more desperate every night while Cecil yelled at him to stop trying to get out because it "wasn't happening any time soon"

I LOVE STEVE ROGERS!!!

no one requested this but here are some of my favorites details about steve and also some of the many reasons i love him:

1. his baby shoes and baby picture in the museum exhibit from tfatws. i know EVERYONE was a baby, but having evidence steve in fact was one too makes my heart melt and so does the comparison of his tiny shoes and big ones being side by side.

2. him writing his lines for the USO show on the back of his shield to help him memorize them. ‘girls’ ‘cap’ … he’s so cute.

3. him cupping bucky’s face when he finds him at azzano. it is public knowledge i am a stevebucky enthusiast but even if i wasn’t … the tenderness and easiness of touch is so sweet ☹️.

4. him clearing the howlies’ glasses away from them in the bar scene when he goes to tell the bartender they want another round. he wasn’t even asked to … he’s just that helpful and polite with his friends.

5. i know this is a tumblr post that has been floating around forever but the fact steve wears converse … again: a common trait, but somehow even cuter when it comes from him.

6. his little ‘rogers’ nametag on his uniform 😭 as if people don’t know EXACTLY who wears that suit.

7. him wearing CKs with his stuffy khakis and too tight t-shirts <3.

8. the arm scar he has that the serum canonically left untouched. proof that steve rogers can indeed scar, just like bucky barnes. the serum didn’t make him imperfect or invincible after all.

9. him being the one to provide first-aid to clint on the jet in aou … using the nursing skills his mama probably taught him to take care of his teammate like the kindhearted man he is.

10. his blue waterbottle with the sippy straw he brings to meetings and carries around the compound :).

THIS MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME

au in which the lis characters are all alive and friends because fuck you that’s why

-if the couch has people sitting on it already, victoria will drape herself across their laps as dramatically as possible. if her head is near warren, she complains about his fashion sense

-victoria, warren, max, and kate are all routinely “kidnapped” by rachel, chloe, and/or nathan whenever their home issues become too much to deal with

-if anyone ever says anything mean to kate, the other six literally show up out of nowhere #katemarshprotectionsquad

-warren and victoria once forced nathan to go as aquaman for halloween. he chased them with an inflatable pool whale all night long

-nathan and max have to be constantly reminded that there are times when taking photos is inappropriate

-chloe and nathan were the last to start getting along, but chloe eventually bridged the gap on nathan’s birthday by dressing up in black, hiding her face, and punching sean prescott in the face on live t.v. before running away. in return, nathan covered her tracks and supported her alibi

-taylor, courtney, hayden, brooke, and the others are all on/off members of the gang (the core seven)

-the vortex club technically still exists but like. the elitism is gone

-max, nathan, victoria, warren, chloe, and rachel took a blood oath to keep kate’s rabbit safe at all costs (note: kate is unaware of this and probably wouldn’t have approved, which is why they didn’t tell her)

-kristine becomes arcadia bay’s cryptid, but no one tells her, so she’s extremely confused why everyone freaks out whenever she visits

-they can’t all fit into a single booth at the two whales diner, but that doesn’t stop them from trying (at least, not until joyce threatens to not feed them)

-literally everyone in arcadia bay knows who rachel is, even people who have no reason to know. no one, not even rachel, is clear on why and/or how

-nathan and chloe are generally not left alone together because when they are it’s basically a coin toss between “someone will die” and “accidentally saved the day somehow”

-they all have to learn to not use offensive words, but they eventually manage to talk without being horrible to each other. kate and max get their language under control the fastest, while nathan and chloe take the longest (occasionally, they still slip up, but they’re surprisingly good at calling each other out on it)

-max is autistic, chloe has borderline personality disorder, victoria has histrionic personality disorder, and they’ve all got depression/anxiety issues. nathan also has problems, but has yet to bring it up due to past experiences with his family, specifically his dad

-kate keeps a bag of marshmallows with her at all times to encourage/bribe her friends to behave

I feel like the biggest mischaracterization I see of Steve Rogers is that he is this rule following conservative guy. Like no, did we watch the same movies? This man breaks every rule he can. He hates the government. He also is not a bigot at all. He has his own moral code and does everything based on it.
