Crossover discussion for who can or can't know about fairy godparents

So whenever I wanna do a crossover roleplay, drawing or fanfic with the nickelodeon classic "the fairly oddparents" I've thought about what characters in fiction can or cant be allowed to know about Timmy Turner's secret so this is what I believe what fictional characters can be allowed to see fairies.

Da Rules

non-humans like other magical beings

Any ghost characters from Danny phantom and the ghost and molly mcgee

Yes, they do count as fantasy beings whether they be a spirit of the dead or a natural born ghost.

Demons and angels from Hazbin Hotel and helluva boss can know about fairies without them being taken away, but I think Timmy would wanna keep them secret just in case he came across a demon during some random adventure.

The Bikini Bottom Residents can know about fairies but Spongebob, Patrick and Sandy are the only ones who know about Timmy's secret because Turner is close friends with them, if out in public Cosmo and Wanda would take the form of normal fish citizens, jellyfish, snails and so on.

Imaginary friends from Foster's home can know about fairies not only because they're not human but because they would mistake Cosmo and Wanda as Timmy's imaginary friends.

Alien characters from Kid Cosmic and Wander over Yonder can know about fairies since Mark Chang, who is an alien, has known about Timmy's fairies, and there were no consequences.

BeastMen from BNA I guess can know but if Timmy stumbled into Anima-City he would wish to be a beast man in order to blend in and his fairies would need to blend in also, if they met Michiru and gain a close connection then I believe Timmy would trust her with his secret and nothing bad would happen.

The residents of ChalkZone are living drawings so yeah they can know about Fairies, Cosmo and Wanda would wanna take the form of chalk drawings just for fun.

Residents of the land of Ooo from adventure time can totally know about Fairies, it's already a land full of whacky, magic nonsense and strange creatures so the odd trio would fit in.

The creatures of gravity falls consist of lots of odd creatures and monsters, including fairies, so this is another yes.

Cuphead and the people of Inkwell isle? Most definitely can know about fairies due to how magic is a normal thing there too but Timmy would only let the Cup Brothers know about them after becoming friends.

The monsters from the middle of nowhere from Courage the cowardly dog? Yes, they can see fairies, no problem, just don't let Katz know, or there's gonna be problems.

The residents of Elmore from Gumball?

Yea they can know, one of their residents is a witch but again don't think Timmy will just explain his faires to just anyone.

Mordecai and Rigby from the regular show? Yea they can know, they along with the park residents have seen crazier stuff than fairies.

Any normal animal characters?

Yea I don't think Jorgen would care if someone's pet dog or cat saw fairies, what are they gonna do tell someone? Scooby doo while not a completely normal animal could know about Cosmo and Wanda, depending on what version of scooby continuity S

The mystery solving canine has seen a few real supernatural stuff, zombie island, the ghoul school girls, the goblin king and the 13 ghosts.

The kid fights ghosts on a daily basis, do I need to explain? Plus if you consider the Nicktoons unite games cannon then Danny already knows about Timmy's fairies.

"Ryder from paw patrol"

Grey area, he's experienced merpups and dragon's with his pups in the past but don't think it would be wise for Timmy to tell him his secret so Cosmo and Wanda would just take the form of puppies when they end up in adventure bay.

"Finn the human"

Again, do I need to explain? Dude grew up in a land of monsters, wizards, candy people and spells and I'm sure fairies exist in Ooo so it's fine.

I think these two are allowed to see fairies since they visit a magic world of chalk that is also supposed to stay secret, they would have to learn about Cosmo and Wanda on their own.

No they cannot know about fairies, only fantastical creatures they've seen are a lake monster, a living old timey swimsuit and that unicorn, frog Turtle thing in the intro.

Nope can't know, universe is too normal

Mac, Frankie or Goo will just think Cosmo and Wanda are imaginary, they can not know their real fairies so Timmy would have to just have to roll with the imaginary friend thing when they're around.

I've covered Scooby so what about Freddy, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy? I put them in the grey area, again scooby continuity is pretty loose, if you take Zombie island, witches ghost, alien invaders and cyberchase into the account then I guess? But Timmy would wanna be safe and not tell them about Cosmo and Wanda.

"Muscle Man from regular show"

Like everyone else at the park crazier stuff has happened but Timmy wouldn't tell him the first time they meet.

They've only been through science fiction adventures so I'm gonna have to say no, Cosmo and Wanda would have to take alien-like forms or something.

They'd be to senile to notice but Timmy should have to keep Cosmo and Wanda secret from them to be safe.

Since they protect kids and the things they like I feel they would wanna keep kids fairy godparents safe. Not to mention that villains like Father, Grandfather, Count Spankulot are supernatural so they've dealt with magic before but I feel that if Timmy met Sector V he'd keep his fairies secret from them.

So, imagine that Rose is a character (inosuke) and Jack is the reader (their s/o) begins to die/or turn into a demon, they are both very hurt, the character understandably end up next to the reader at this moment in a hope to stop the process, but then both realize that nothing helps, and before going completely crazy/or die, the reader begins to calm down characters (just repeat lines from this scene lol) How would the characters react? I want some angsssss yeahh

Then he release inosuke when theres a bit tears coming out of his eyes

Then you were back going to attack him again, zenitsu drew he's sword and now was pointing at you

Stanley loves his family.

He was treated as an unwanted and bad, stupid child by people around him excluiding Carynn, constantly compared with his smarter brother. So he can understand the feeling of being less than your sibling given his talents.

He sees himself in this sweet weird kid (And someone pointed out that Carynn looks like Mabel with her hair down so maybe he does also feel inclined towards her) but has enough self awareness not to project onto her like Ford does with Dipper, even if the similarities are there.

(I love Ford but again Fildbrick turned him into the egocentric man we see later on always looking for approval to the point of making Ford an easy target for manipulation and he played a part in the Stan twins relationship souring that Ford cant let go of a mistake of many years ago and without noticing he projects himself onto Dipper-not unlike Bill did with Ford but also having his nephew's best interests in mind- and tries to live through him by giving him the chance he never got in life; not taking into consideration his life in California, his studies nor his relationship with Mabel nor how she might feel about it too csuse he cant help but view another case of a twin holding the other one down even if unintentionally. Also lets be real Stanley's life is messy but Ford was alone and choosing his studies over his family led him to ruin his friends life and be haunted by a demon)

Both are artists (Lil Stanley and the Mystery Shack's attractions plus some artwors that depict him drawing), both like animals (Stan's relationship with Shanklin the Opossum is a parallel to Mabel's relationship with Waddles not to mention they inmediatly get attached to the mutated cow in the shorts) and often are seen as the dumb one even if they're street smart and more emotionally mature (Despite her selfishness at times, Mabel is very empathic, tries to help others out and do the right thing and apologizes for her mistakes and Stanley has a sense of family loyalty and recognizes when he messed up and tries to make up for it)

He makes sure this little girl doesn't feel like a dissapointment; he indulges her in some of her schemes (as long as they aint too crazy) and even after she loses in minigolf and comforts her with the fear of highschool looming over her future. Constantly using terms of endearment like Pumpkin and Sweetie, not unlike his mom did with him. He even has some of the things she gives him in his room.

Although he does struggle with Dipper, he loves him still and does give him advice when needed and he's not nearly as cruel as his dad was to him with his attempts to toughen him up so he can defend himself against the world which works as seen in his fight with Bill and Gideon Rises and other instances throughout season 2.

He even states he's reminded of him in Dipper in a couple of occasions which could explain why hes so proud of him when he stands up to others even himself included, cause he couldn't do it with his dad nor the bullies in their youth that tormented him and his brother in a definitive way.

He makes sure both him and his sister are loved and that they know.

Stan's not perfect of course, in trying to shield him and protect him form Gravity Falls's weirdness he ends up gaslighting Dipper into thinking hes crazy and that the weirdness and paranormal stuff isn't real which pushes him into doing something dumb and dangerous in his desperation like raising the dead and this is where Stan stops pretending and promises to stop hiding the truth about Gravity Falls but continues hiding the truth about Ford and the portal until the day where the portal is ready and he tries telling them but can't cause its a lot. And after everything hes not mad at Dipper for not trusting him after everything they went through that day.

But despite everything he never raises his hands nor his voice at them; the worst he did was intending to ground Dipper after possibly getting them into trouble with the goverment.

And after Ford comes back, he warns Dipper not to get too close to Ford in order for him to be safe as Ford's work is far too dangerous for him and just wants to keep them safe.

Also he's okay with them spending time with Ford as long as they're okay, since Stan sees Dipper clearly likes Ford. He's just mopey about being alone or the twins liking Ford more cause he's been alone for 40 years.

And in Weirdmageddon he goes against the plan to rescue Ford not cause he doesn't care about Ford (he does and had no idea what Bill was doing to him) but because of his niece and nephew's safety (alongside the surviving creatures and townsfolk) and when the plan goes sour (Ford didn't need to correct his grammar and Stan didn't have to fight him) he's more than willing to basically lay down his identity (his life) to make sure his entire family is safe, even if it meant the possiblity of not coming back to his old self ever again.

Heck he cares so much for them that he wrote "Come back soon" in the "See you next summer" note Dipper was given by Wendy

So yeah its nice to see that in spite of all the trauma Fildbrick made Stan go through (as well as Ford and Shermie), Stanley cant bring himself to have anything but love and affection for his niece and nephew, even if its hard for him to show it.

I love Stan's relationship with the kids so much.

GF emphasizes a lot of very real trauma in Stan's past. Everything from child abuse, homelessness, drug abuse, and survival sex work. And the way that meshes with Mabel being this truly genuine depiction of a weird little girl creates something that is very unique to the series.

It's really touching how Mabel just being Mabel heals Stan's inner child and the way he naturally clicks with her. The weird and creative little boy he used to be, before his father's abuse and toxic masculinity beat that joy and optimism out of him.

It's just damn good. It's a really beautiful depiction of an intergenerational relationship. And I haven’t really seen anything else quite like it. Because there’s also Dipper.

There’s this wall between Stan and Dipper that goes beyond his similarities with Ford and its gender.

Dipper is a boy and Stan clearly doesn’t really know how to handle that. He was taught that boys are raised in a very specific way. And like we see how Stan really struggles with his past, the way he talks about the boxing lessons in particular.

Masculinity is so deeply entwined with Stan's pain and it’s something he can’t easily unravel. How is he supposed to be able to criticize his father for 'toughing him up' when he feels like punching things is one of the only things he’s good at? It's fucking sad.

Band was good today other than my cousin being exposed to covid and then coming down to yell questions across the room to my uncle??? But he wasn't near me at least otherwise I would've lost it. But we learned Galaxie by Blind Melon and Only a Fool Would Say That by Steely Dan

I have become a Last Blade stan the past 4 days and I have this weird feeling about it cuz I keep going where is Last Blade 3. And my friends both individually were like well if they made it now it would be 3D and it would suck. And i'm like yeah I dont mean now I mean where was Last blade 3 back when shit like Battle Arena Toushinden was getting its 5th sequel. We played the new Samsho tonight and that game is really good but like, its the same thing as with the Namco games. Why the fuck is Tekken the one that took off when Soul Calibur is so much better, and then over in SNK land we've got the King of Fumbles 15, and Shamshow, and theyre making a new Garou, where is fuckin Last Blade lol

But as a microcosm of how that would go nowadays I played Hibiki who is my main in LB2, but also got into Samurai Shodown somehow, and her Samsho version is just not as good or fun, and a lot of it is the 3D. Her moves dont feel as snappy and her Distance Slash has so wind effects on it you cant see the actual attack very well which makes it hard to space with. And it doesnt help its only half as long as it was before. AND they took away her 5B which is like her numero uno best button, the iconic Hibiki 5B, so I ended up playing Iroha the horny crane girl, and Genjuro the game ruining top tier. Even without knowing how to play Genjuro is a fuckin problem, that is a gormless ignorant ass character. I hope my audience of one is enjoying this fighting game rant

But yeah I love Last Blade, I bought the Arcade archives version on Switch because I just really love Hibiki's buttons. I havent actually wanted to play a fighting game since Soul Calibur 6 came out so this is big news for me. Ifk if I talked about Cybattler yesterday but I bought that too that game rules. for my lovely jean stans, here’s a lil artist!jean drabble <3 (i wrote this in like 10 min so sorry if there’s mistakes)

jean never took art seriously; he only does it as a hobby. that way, he can thoroughly enjoy it without worrying about when his next project is due. he doesn’t cash out on the most expensive, top quality supplies. if he finds something he likes, he’ll stick with it and make do. but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t splurge and treat himself every once in a while.

his most recent gift to himself was a leather-bound multi-media sketchbook. it’s just the right size that he can carry it around to wherever he’s going. sometimes he’ll call you up and take you out to the park so he cant paint the scenery. he’ll show you some of the pieces he’s worked on; many are landscapes of the places he’s taken you to, others are quick portrait sketches of his friends.

on one particular day, you try to flip through his sketchbook, but he hastily snatches it back from your grasp. he says that he’s working on something “top secret” and that he doesn’t want you to see it.

“is it a portrait of me?” you ask, trying to get an answer out of him. but it doesn’t work.

“nope,” he says with a firm voice. “but now that you mention it, i haven’t drawn you in a while.”

so you convince him to draw you. he takes a great deal of time on it, claiming that he has to get all the angles right to capture the essence of your beauty. he pays great attention to all the details like the crease in your brow and the light in your eyes, careful to not miss a single thing. when he’s done, he’ll flip his sketchbook over and show you the results and wow, it’s amazing. you almost want to ask if you can keep it, but you know he doesn’t like tearing pages out of his sketchbooks.

some time passes and you’re out with jean again. it’s sunset, and he’s beautifully blending orange and red watercolors to match the sky. you stand up just when the two of you are about to leave, but he pulls you back down.

“you remember that too secret thing i’ve been working on?” he asks with a smile. “well… this is it. i hope you like it.”

he cautiously flips to the first page of his sketchbook, revealing a scene that’s all too familiar to you. it’s the café that he took you to for your first date. everything in the painting is so perfect, from the lighting, to the use of space, to the little details such as steam rising from coffee mugs and the writing on the menu. and the thing that surprises you most is that he carefully begins to tear at the page’s perforated edge.

you stare at him in disbelief when he hands the sheet of paper to you. it’s so delicate, so fragile, you don’t even know if you can trust yourself with it. but as soon as he drops you off at home, you start thinking about what kind of frame you should put it in.

OH I don’t mind the question at all! Though let me be clear right now that this is going to be a completely subjective answer and also that it’s going to be heavy with spoilers. 

Okay, first things first, if I had to give jjk a general vote on a scale from 1 to 10 it’d be a 8, and that’s only because I read the prequel too! Right after catching up with the manga without any knowledge of the prequel’s existence it was a 7, barely (since Gege tends to treat the prequel in the main story as if you’re supposed to know about it, with all the mentions of Yuuta and Geto and stuff, but then never tells you anywhere in the manga that you were supposed to read it? Or that it exists at all? It even has a different name than the main story! I read the manga with the serious feeling that I was missing something, which I was and no one told me. Didn’t like that very much, ngl). 

I still enjoyed it greatly and binged it all in a day and a half, but, you know, I’ve never thought it a perfect story. Am I enjoying how it is and where it’s going? Yeah, yeah, immensely! I adore it, really, if my drawing it 24/7 for the past over half a year wasn’t proof enough 😂 but it tends to go too fast at times for my tastes, it isn’t especially good at exposition and has confused the everloving hell out of me more than just once. Also it’s chokefull with stuff you’d call foreshadowing that ends up meaning nothing at all in the end and that’s, like, something I wish Gege didn’t do since I tend to overthink these kind of things and then feel disappointed when nothing comes out of it 😂😂 that’s on me tho.

If I had to change anything about it.................no, nothing, I’m good with how it is. Like, it has a lot of problems, definitely, but it wouldn’t be the jjk I fell in love with if it was anything else. Do I think everyone will die by the end of it? Yeah. Am I sad some characters already have died? Very much so. I’m still good with how it is tho, it’s just how jjk is. What else...uhhhhhh right, the characters! I don’t have any I especially dislike or hate aside from Mahito, which I just can’t stand sorry Mahito stans he just isn’t my cup of tea at all 😂 I do have characters I don’t particularly care about, like... Ichiji? For example, or Kusakabe, or most of the Kyoto kids (even Kokichi and Mai only became characters I liked after they died tbh, aside from Miwa and Kamo I’m not particularly into any of them). I haveeeeeee mixed feelings about Yuki, but only cause I feel she outright used Geto’s kind heart and depression to reach her own goals in a way that felt a lot like just an experiment for a theory she had, and I live and die for Geto so you can see why I would resent her for this 😂 but other than that she’s pretty cool, so I’m on the fence with her (again, sorry Yuki stans, I don’t have anything against you all 🙏)

That’s it! Overall I love jjk and I’m fully on for the ride, but I wouldn’t lie to anyone and call it perfect 😂 it’s better tho, I like stories that can fail me and have in the past failed me more, I’m more relaxed while reading them

You could see it in her when she overheard Heather or Emmett making jokes that you were getting attention after your promposal.

You knew the idea of organised formal events gave her headaches unless she really wanted to go, so frankly you were pretty surprised when you found out she would be one of the teachers chaperoning the dance.

“You’re kidding me, right?” Emmett asked, smothing down a suit he was tryin on. Just a few more days to go until the prom. “I thought you said she broke it off.”

You unfolded your arms and straightened yourself up to read a few dress magazines which were sitting on a stool in the viewing room. “She did,” you replied, looking at different dresses on each page to try and get some sembelnce of what you wanted to wear. 

Emmett looked fantastic in his suit. “Be honest, Y/N. Is she bothering you?”

You shook your head and chuckled. “Gosh, no. Not at all,” you replied. That was true after all, you were keeping up with the prom thing because you knew that it trained Lana’s attention back on you.

“If you say so,” he said with a roll of his eyes. “Did you hear that her title got changed? She must have finally signed the divorce papers.”

You were frozen slightly for a moment. The news that Lana had actually signed for divorce after having put it off for years made the entire thing seem real.

And on God you loved the feeling.

“Are you ready to go dress shopping?”

You nodded, a wide grin showing on your face. The three of you strode out to the dress shop. Heather already had her heart set on a specific dress that she had seen months ago. You, on the other hand, had barely given it a second thought.

Manny was insistent on purple, claiming that it was your perfect colour.

It was also the colour of Lana’s bedsheets the first time you’d visited her home.

So, it was decided. A beautiful, vibrant purple dress with a slit that went up your thigh. Strapless. Just how Lana liked it.

The prom was taking place out of town in a hotel built around the ruins of an old castle. Your legs and jaw jittered out of every feeling swirling around your body and mind. The sea of your peers socialising, dancing, not-so discreetly drinking in the lit-up ruins was magical. It was like the essence of whatever parties must have taken place between the old walls of the ballroom came back to life every so often.

You noticed Lana through the corner of your eye wearing a red dress. Her eyes softened as she took you in, noticeably getting distracted from her conversation with another teacher as she raised her eyebrows at you.

You glanced away, making sure not to show her any emotion whatsoever.

When you had walked far enough through the lobby, Lana took your hand and walked slightly faster. There was an empty first-aid suite in the hall, lined with small beds incase guests ever got too drunk or took ill. Weird thing to have.

You danced and sang, drank, and laughed with your friends, swinging from Manny’s arms and pulling him in close. You certainly didn’t just look like friends tonight and it was driving Lana insane.

After what had been hours of stolen glances, longing stares and not so accidental brushes of contact, you finally worked up your nerve to go talk to her when she went behind one of the far-off stone pillars for a cigarette.

“I knew you weren’t going to be able to hold off those all night,” you said. Lana turned in surprise.

“I didn’t think you were going to speak to me tonight,” she replied, taking a deep inhale. “You seemed more than happy with your date.”

You smirked at her ill-attempt to sound irritated.

“Can I bum a cigarette?” You asked. You leant against the pillar on your back so that she couldn’t look away from you again.

Lana chuckled as she passed to you. “I thought you had no interest in smoking.”

You coughed heavily. “I don’t,” you wheezed. “But you look hot as shit when you do it and I wanted another way to keep your attention on me.”

The brunette shook her head. “Your wearing your necklace,” she admired, pulling at her own.

You nodded. “I had to have some symbol of the one I love on me.” Your words left your mouth before you even had time to process it. You muttered a profanity under your breath. “I’m sorry, Lana. I wasn’t thinking-”

Lana didn’t skip a beat in taking your hand and guiding you back into the main building of the hotel without explaining herself.

Your confusion almost continued until Lana opened the door and pulled you into the room. Before you had time to open your mouth and ask what on Earth was going on, she pressed you against the door and kissed you.

With that, it was like a magnet being held back was allowed to swing to its attraction. You clutched your arms over her neck, arching your back so that your bodies met. Lana's lips eloped yours as her hands stayed trained on your back and waist.

How on Earth did your French teacher manage to be the one who touched you and set your soul on fire.

Lana's tongue met with yours, her teeth biting down on your lips then going for your jawline. Tiny blotches appeared under her bites and nips as she guided you towards one of the beds and sat on it with you between your legs.

You tried to keep up with her pace, but in reality, you had never experienced something like this before with Lana. By now you felt like you had kissed her a hundred thousand times, but nothing came quite close to the feeling of having the room set on fire and watching from within the flames.

You felt one of Lana's hands trailing from your belly, over your breasts and resting on your throat in a light squeeze. You broke free from her kiss, your lips visibly swollen. Lana's mouth trailed your neck and jawline.

"I thought we were casual," you breathed, her actions driving into your abdomen.

Lana chuckled breathily. "Oh, baby girl. There's nothing casual about you and I.”

Her answer was satisfied you enough to let her get back to the kissing. For now, at least. You were going to absolutely milk the life out of Lana for having ever suggested that you anything less, but right now you just wanted her to work off her damn jealousy.

“God, Lana,” you spoke between her fiery kisses. “If I knew this is how you were when you were jealous then I would’ve acted up weeks ago.”

Lana chuckled into your skin. “Jesus H. Christ, you have quite the mouth, Y/N.”

Her eyes, dark and glossed, collided with your stare. She had the most beautiful brown eyes you had ever seen, and you were almost willing to get lost in her warm gaze. Lana pulled your body onto the bed and lent over you.

Lana’s nails scratched lines up your thigh, navigating themselves under your dress to the point that your eyes snapped open and your breath hitched.

“You put a lot of thought into getting this dress, didn’t you?” she asked. “You told me that you hated slit dresses and that you wouldn’t wear one unless you absolutely had to.”

You smirked. “Clever girl,” you whispered, feeling her hand scratch further up your thigh. Her fingers had almost reached between your legs when Lana pulled back.

“You aren’t wearing underwear?” You nodded and got met with Lana’s melodic laugh. “Y/N, you really are something.”

You could hear the music pounding from outside. t.A.T.u’s “All The Things She Said” had always been a song that you had made a mental note about getting railed to, and right now that somewhat looked like your wish was about to come true.

You took Lana’s hand and pushed it closer to your centre, moaning when you felt her fingers cold against you.

Whispers of, “are you sure?” were followed by slow moves being made for the first time as your lover delicately slipped her fingers to where you were desperate for.

She was slow and gentle, drawing low moans from your like a confession. You would’ve been more than happy to lay under Lana and allow her to watch you be completely undone by the delicate touch of her fingers and mouth, and you knew for a fact that there was no way you would be joining you friends in the rented apartment tonight. Eventually, your own hand slid up Lana’s dress and between her thighs. Your joint moans sparked up a weird melody of romance.

“I love you too,” she whispered into your lips as your arm tightened around her when you had both finished. 

“You know, if that’s what’s going to happen every time I say something like that then I’m going to have to say it more often.”

Talented Ass Writers.

As the fan-fiction connoisseur that I am, I see it only fitting that my first official post be a shout out to all the great writers that I’ve discovered, befriended, and thoroughly enjoyed since my arrival on the holy ground that is tumblr.

Now. I’m 22 years old, and I’ve read a lot of fan-fiction in my days, guys, so I’d like to think I know good quality material when I read it.  I’ve even dabbled in the writing aspect of it, but we aren’t going to talk about that. I’m more of a reader than a writer, at least when creative writing is concerned. I have ideas, but I can never think them through to where I want them to end up, so alas, I read others works and immerse myself in worlds inside worlds. 

For the past year or so, I’ve been heavy into the BNHA fandom, hence the name on my blog. My favorite character is Bakugou Katsuki. As if that wasn’t obvious, but I’m a fan-girl at heart, so I read on multiple platforms including: wattpad, quotev, ffnet, AO3, obscure websites that exist, and of course tumblr, and in this post and the parts that will come later, I will mention lots of authors from different platforms that I think people should know about, in my humble opinion.

I mainly read reader inserts or fics with OC’s, but I’m not going to say that there won’t be some character x character action because in the past, I’ve read plenty of those for several fandoms.

5 Anti LO Asks

1. HEY HEY maybe the panel of aphrodite barely being smaller than hades means shes absolutely huge, ever thought about that? or maybe every man turns into a twink around her. obviously its either one of those two and not rachel and her team not knowing what a character sheet is. or maybe out eyeballs are simply wrong. cant hold her accountable for even her own art she draws now can we? (/sarcasm in case some stans try to start some shit)

2. What I also don’t get is this is basically confirming hers loves hades, right? So does Rachel realize that just makes hades and Persephone look worse? Are we as readers just supposed to doom Hera to a marriage she’s not happy with so hades can bang her niece? If anything that just sets up the endgame should be hades and Hera running away together to a different land, far from Zeus, to be in love and together like they’re seemingly set up to be, with idk maybe “dark” Persephone ends up ruling the underworld by herself? Because it makes no sense that what is currently going on to make it so everyone can live in harmony and end in their set mythology places. It just can’t. I get Rachel writes on a drama of the week type basis, but the that’s exactly why none of this story seems plausible for an even decent ending, if it ever happens. She’s going to end up writing a 100+ chapter “arc” of idk Poseidon having credit card debt buying too many yachts than actually making any of her plot threads make sense and end well at this point.

3. Every time she’s drawn a lady character who’s standing next to a man with her face at level with his dick, I want to take her fucking tablet away. WE GET IT, RACHEL. YOU HAVE A SIZE KINK. Quit making it everyone else’s problem.

4. I think the issue too with making Hera a cheater and the maidens have sex is that like, you can’t have it bad for some people, but good for others? You know what I mean? Like if she just made it that maidenhood is purely through not getting married, then the maidens having sex and being in relationships would be fine Bc they’re not breaking their own rules, but I guess rs couldn’t do that or else her gross attempt at a sexual assault plot line wouldn’t have “stakes”? More so, and it’s obvious in the cheating part, you can’t have it framed Zeus/Thetis/Minthe/Leto etc are evil for cheating, but Hera is justified in it? It just makes her anger over it just her being hypocritical, and as others have said it goes against her very own mythology nature. There’s a lot of thing in actual myth that makes Hera complex (hi, literally murdering babies and torturing women!) so it’s just rs thinking her soap opera drama is somehow better than actual myth? It’s insulting and maddeningly egotistical she thinks this highly of herself to think any of this is actually good writing and actually improved on the source texts.

5. Oh the LO fandom is definitely a cult outside of a strict organization sense, tbh. The only myth fandom comparable is PJO but even then they do constantly critique it without fear of being doxxed or harassed and Rick listens to it and fixes what he can. Rachel in comparison has built a cult of personality around her where they even know she’s “Persephone” and any critique on the character or the work itself is really you critiquing their “queen”, and they can’t have that. It’s a prime example of why parasocial relationships are bad, and it’s worse in this case because Rachel has purposely built it up around herself, she likes the attention, and doesn’t seem thrilled over others getting a chance of the spotlight. Case in point, two new originals just broke 1mil readers each recently and she didn’t say a word on it while every other featured creator was congratulating them, and she was tweeting at the time this was happening! It’s extremely telling. She can make sure to tweet chances to get her cronies to fawn over her, but can’t even attempt to support her colleagues and their achievements? What does that tell us?

I can get why she does this ($$$) but what happens once LO is over, if that ever happens? What happens if these fans aren’t interested in whatever other stories she makes, if she even tries? I get it’s thrilling to do it in the short term, but you can only get so high until gravity pulls you back down.

This is walter melon

Hes a hot-headed mess of a phsycopath boy, but we love him anyway. He loves a knife and likes even more to throw them at targets. Hes a little bit of a weirdo so he isnt good with people and is actively agressive to his brother stanlee in a tsundere fashion, loving him deep down, but despising him for existing. He has a very soft spot for his sweet baby honey dew though who he gives kisses on every occasion. He hasn't had the best past as his strange demeanour lead to him hanging around a lot of the wrong kind of people, ones who really encouraged his love of knives and didnt tend to stop him from doing dangerous daredevil things. After an unmentioned inccident, the only one left of that group there for him was Canary and its lead to him having a large distaste for people in general. However, hes an absolute loveable crazy one and we all love him.

This is stanlee melon

One of the kindest melon bois you will ever encounter, named after stan lee himself, stanlee is very sweet and prone to helping people and just being an in general Samaritan. Many who know him feel an overwhelming need to protect him from any dangers because hes just so darn sweet with his circle glasses. Hes very chilled and tolerable and gives away all his compassion, even to people that dont give him any back. An all round lovely one.

This is phara melon

She is the older sister who treats her two siblings like children, looking out for stanlee and forever scolding walter for his stupidity and dangerous nature. She looks out for the two of them and shes a lot more mature and gives them relationship help, although single herself. She also has a pink dog named lolly

This is devon cantelope

They are cool with a capital C. They have that certain charm that just makes people instantly want to be their best friend. Luckily for him, they have a certain eye for a sweet boy named stanlee! They love boba tea to an unhealthy obsession and they arent seen anywhere without their signature denim jacket an sunglasses. Theyre also the only one with they/them pronouns though he/him is also one he uses every bow and again(it usually depends on whether i remember that their pronouns were supposed to be they and just used he accidentally because i was tired, so it stuck)

This is honey dew

Perhaps even sweeter than stanlee, honey dew is fragile and insecure. Hes the kindest thing and when he falls in love he fallllllllllls. Hell do anything to be around the people he loves and he cant stand to see any of them upset. He is very affraid of a lot of things so jes very hspoy to have walter, a brave chaos boi, to protect him all the time.

Lastly, this is Canary

Shes the most recent addition. Shes a real emo kid and right dick to people. Shes very reserved and all she has plot wise is that she was the last and only person willing to come to the rescue for walter after an unnamed incident with his toxic old friends.

Story set up: its not super serious its just me having fun

Stanlee and walter are brothers and are human versions of watermelons i have created. They are my lovely melon sons so please treat them well.

Stanlee met Devon and instantly fell in love with their lovely hair, their heterochromia, their love of boba tea and denim, he was hooked. However, so was walter. Walter and stanlee began to both attempt to catch devons eye.

The battle begins. Its not really a battle in stanlees mind since he isnt competetkve, in fact he'd be happy for walter if he managed to score devon. Walter on the other hand is determined to beat stanlee and laugh in his face. He requires the assistance of someone he knows he can rely on, his friend honey dew, the sweetest little thing in the world. Although honey is holding onto a crush of his own, he wants to spend time with walter, so he does his best.

In the end devon just tells walter to give up. Devon wants stanlee and promptly asks that walter leave him alone and stop stalking him and trying to win him over. Heartbroken, walter goes into ice cream eating depression rejection hours.

Honey checks on him regularly and lets him rant on and on about devon until one day he just snaps and kisses walter, very pissed off by how ignorant walter is to his feelings

There we have two happy couples now theyre all lovely. Canary and phara are kinda just there they dont have much plot relevance

CALL OF THE RAVEN

PART 6

The day i got released form hospital finaly came. I was happy about it, taking a breath of fresh air will be a welcoming change after over three weeks in here. Some bruises wer still visable, and my head hurted from time to time, but other then that the doctor gave me a green light. And having too much free time makes your toughts wonder in wrong direction too much. Thinking about Jake was my daily routine, and i hoped once i get out other things will get me occupied. Jessy wanted me to stay with her, but i managed to persuade her that i'd be better of at the motel. She reluclantly agreed, but I argued that i would still be resting most of the time, and promised her we will see eachother every day, wich made her respect my decision a bit more. She called me that moring, telling Dan will come and drive me to the motel, because she was bussy planing a surprise for me. „Oh, Jessy, pleas dont go overboard, it is my first day out, i wont be up for much.“ I protested, but she quickly reasured me its nothing big. Knowing Jessy, i was sceptical about it, but she sounded so happy that i just agreed to whatever she had in plan. I was about done packing, when Doris came bringing me my dischrage papers. She gave them to me, embracing me in a tight hug „You be good now, hun. And remember what i told you before.“ She said, giving me one more of her winks. „Thank you, Doris.“ I replied, handig her a chocholate bombonier i asked Jessy to get me. „For everything.“ I hugged her once more. „No need to thank me, hun.“  „Ahh, Doris, im jelaous, i didnt get a hug from you when i was leaving the hospital.“ It was Dan, being dramatic again. I laughed, as Doris went for the door „Schmacks dont deserve hugs!“ she grinned at him, and left. „She likes me...she just wont admit it.“ Dan said, grining. „So,you ready to leave this shithole?“ „Definatly!“ i said, taking my discharge papers and putting them in my pack. Dan took it from me, and we left the room, taking the elevator down. Stepping outside was so refreshing, i stopped at the exit for a brief moment, wich made Dan turn „You allrigh there?“ „Im good, just appriciate being outside again.“ I smiled. We continued to the car. Dan opened the door for me, putted my stuff on the back seat, and we drove towards motel. I rolled the window down letting the cool morning air blow to my face and through my hair. The drive wouldnt last that long, and Dan informed me that Jessy booked the room for me already and took the rest of my stuff there, and my car also waiting for me at the motels parking. „Dan, whats Jessy planing for me today?“ i asked. „Oh, no,no, im keeping my mouth shut!“ he replied, but i groaned at him pleading „Please, Dan, at least give me a hint. I just got out of hospital, and to be honest, im not up for big fanfaras, but i dont want to dissapoint Jessy either. And lets be honest, its Jessy wer talking about here, nothing is small or meaningless with her.“ He laughed at that „Your right about that! Alright, ill tell you, but if she realize you knew something..“ „Dont worry, i can act being genuinely surprised with no problem.“ I asured him. „Well, its nothing much, rellay. We're taking you for dinner.“ he said. Ok, thats not so bad, i tought, i do have to eat. „And she invited the gang to Aurora this evening, to celebrate your release from hospital.“ Ugh, i hoped that wouldnt happen so soon, that i would at least have a day or so for me before seeing everyone. „Ah, crap, i guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.“ I said, adding „Later would be better, tho.“ „Dont worry, Maya, ill be there to rescue you, AGAIN.“ He grinned at me, and i grinned back „Good, because i just might need some rescuing, again.“

Dan left me at the motel, and i entered the small checkin office. The woman behind the counter was eldery, and she smiled at me „Good morning, miss, what can i do for you?“. „Morning'“ i replied, smiling back „I had a room booked for me by a friend, i guess you know her, Jessica Hawkins?“. She smiled more now „Ah, ofcourse, miss Cole i presume?“ i nooded in agreement. „Yes, Jessica brought all your belongings already. I would just ask for you to fill this, please.“ She handed me that check in paper you get at every motel. I filled it, and she gave me the key.“You're at room 11, its on your right once you leave the office. And i'm Ms. Walter, fell free to ask if you need anything.“ „Thanks, i will.“ I replied, taking the key.

The room looked cozy enough. It had a big bed, with a little nightstand next to it with a lamp on it. There was a midium size table in front of a big window, wich i immidiatly felt greatefull for, since some natural light is what i prefere for my drawing work, and a closet next to it. Across from the bed was a  TV, and a little refrigeratore under it. The bathroom was small, wich is more then enough. I left my stuff on the bed, when i noticed a note on the nightstand. 'The car key is in the nightstand drawer. Get some rest, and see you later! Xoxo' It was from Jessy, and that made me smile. I took the key and went to the car to get the rest of my stuff. The day was nice and sunny, and i tought i souldnt spend the whole day in the motel. I went back to the room, unpacked, grabed some clean clothes and went for a shower. When i got dressed i sat at te table and turned my laptop on. I checked my mails, and some job offers. Its good when you're a freelancer, you can work from anywhere, and I actually felt some work might keep me occupied and not let my mind wonder to Jake.  The tought of him leaving my hospital room  two weeks ago still pained me, but i cant sit here and despair all the time, so i decided to grab my drawing stuff and head exploring. I hoped Jessy wouldt mind me going to town alone, she did promise me a grand tour of it once im out of the hospital. I took my phone and texted her „Hey hey, setteled at the motel. Going for a walk arround, but dont worry, im still looking forward for my tour arround Duskwood with you! xoxo“. She replied soon „Oh, nice, have fun! Just stay out of woods! xD See you for dinner J „. Great, now i could leave without feeling any guilt. I grabbed my backpack and left the motel.

I decidet to walk towards the marketplace, i had plenty of time since it wasnt even noon yet, and Jessy and Dan wont pick me up before 19. I passed a small bakery on my way there, and bought me some food and a bottle of water. The streets leading towards marketplace wer small and narrow, mostly with older buildings and pretty quiet. After some 30-40 minutes of slow walk,  i emerged to the marketplace, and it was comepletly different. The crowd thickened, and the place hummed with life. In the center was a nice funtain, with benches in circle arround it. Few wer occupied with people: one had an eldery couple, just sitting there on the sun and talking, on the other wer two mothers, drinking coffee while kids wer running arround, giggling and enjoying a nice day. I sat on one of the free benches, and took my drawing pad out. The warmth of the sun felt nice, and i began drawing. I can get quite zoomed out of my surroundings when drawing, so when i finaly noticed someone was standing in front of me, i jumped, and my penciles flew all over the floor. I started to stan up from the bench, at the same time that someone started to bend down to help pick them up,our heads coliding. That sent me sitting back on the banch, as both of us groaned from the impact. „Auch.“ I flinched, looking at the person stnding there. It was Jake. „Sorry, i didnt mean to sneak up on you.“ he said, still rubbing his forehead. „No, no, its fine, i was really focused, i didnt see you there.“ I barely managed to say, my voice shakey, clumsely picking my penciles from the floor.He was the last person i expected to run into. I really wasnt ready for this, the knot in my stomach starting to form, as i finaly collected all the penciles and sat back on the bench. I knew we wer gonna run at each other eventualy, but not so soon. He sat next to me, and i could notice by his body language he was a bit nervouse, too. „You look better.“ he said after a moment of silence, giving me a small smile, wich made my heart skip from joy. „Thanks, i feel much better,too.“ I replied, smiling back. He was looking at me so tenderly, and the heat from the sun made me so hot, i had a feeling my cheeks wer red as a lobster. He run his hand through his hair, and all i could think is how much i wanna do that. His look became more serious now, his eyes becoming darker, but that tenderness was still present. „Maya..“ he started „That day at the hospital.. I didnt..I'm sorry..“ but i interupted him. „No need to appologise, Jake, really.“ And he really didnt have to. I continued, before he could say anything else. „Look, its like this: you had every right to act like you did, and even tho it wasnt easy for me to hear you say those stuff, you wer right, in a way.“ He looked me a bit confused. „You wer probably right, I didnt think quite hard about every possible thing that could go wrong, and God knows i had more luck then im willing to admit. But thats just who i am: i act, i go with the flow, i make mistakes. And i appologise when I realize I was wrong, wich I would do to you if you just stayed for a while more. And i mean appologise for not telling you, or anyone about my plan, not for what i did at the end, hence me saying that you wer right in a way.“ I looked at him, he was still calm, not a trace of that anger i saw at the hospital anywhere on his face. That made me relax a bit. „Maya, just let me...“ he started again, but i interputed him once more „Please, Jake, just let me finish, then you can say whatever you wnat.“ He nodded in agreement. „ I know saying 'sorry' at that time seemed so pointless, but you have to know that i really am sorry, Jake, a thousand times sorry. Yet, i still stand by what i said, i would do it all over again, no matter the qonsequences.“ I paused for a moment, before i continued „I really hope you can forgive me. I got so used at having you in my life, and for it to end here and now...“ He looked at me, but i couldnt bring myself to look back at him. I just stared at my hands, not realizing this whole time i was clasping them so tightly. „I hope you wont shut me out of your life comepletly.“ We sat there in silence for what seemed like eternity. I got my courage and looked at him. He was staring in the distance now. „I felt helpless.“ he said, looking back at me now. „It got me...scared.“ he confessed, and i ached to just hug him. I could see this was being hard for him, saying it. „I've had that happen once before in my life, and it didnt end well.“ His eyes became so sad. „I'm not sure im ready to go through it again.“ That knot at my stomach tightened as he said it, but i took a deep breath „I understand. I'v let you down, i know. But i hope with time, you will be able to trust me again..let me be your friend, at least.“ Friend...that word felt so wrong to me. I didnt want to be just his 'friend', i wanted to be more, so much more. But, i guess at the moment i would be happy with anything. He stared at me for a moment, and before he said it, a smile formed at the corner of his lips „One step at the time.“ „Thats all im asking.“ I said, smiling shyly. He sat there in silence for a brief moment before slowely getting up. „You're good, by the way.“ He said, and i looked at him puzzeled, wich made him smile. He had such a sincere and wonderfull smile. „Your drawing, its good.“ He continued, pointing at my drawing pad. „Oh, that, thanks!“ i replied. „I better be good, i doubt i'll get paid otherwise .“ i grinned. He shook his head at me smiling, walking slowely away from the bench „See you arround, Maya.“ „See you, Jake.“ Watching him walk away this time didnt leave me in pain and agony. I felt hope again. Maybe Doris and Jessy weren't talking nonsence, afterall, I tought, not realising i was grinning like crazy.

After Jake left, i just sat there, letting my heart stop beating insanely. I was really happy for how our unexpected meeting went, i tought there really was some hope for us again. Oh man, Jessy will go crazy when i tell her all about it, she will so rub me her ' i told you so's' in the face! That got me laughing out loud, a few passerbys looking at me like i was crazy. And they wer right, i was crazy! Crazy for Jake. Everything about him drow me crazy: his gorgeous eyes, that ruffeled hair, and that beautifull smile. He shoud definatly smile more, i tought, his whole face smiles when he does it. The churchbell chimmed five , and i cursed under my breath. I better head back to the motel, i need another shower for sure. I quickly grabbed my stuff from the bench, deciding to grab coffee before headiding back. My toughts wer still running wild about Jake as i was walking back towards motel, i colided with a man. I almost dropped my coffe, quickly appologizing. „Be carefull there, miss, you never know who you might bump into.“  He said, a bit grim, like he was makeing a threath. I looked at him a bit astonished „Uhm, i will mister, thanks for your advice. And, sorry again!“ I slowly turned and continued my way. Strange guy i tought, but didnt pay any more toughts about it continuing back to the motel.
