I just discovered that Beethoven wrote a piece called Wellington's Victory for the Battle of Vitoria(this is part one, there's also a second part)! This particular recording uses actual weapons!

There's 188 cannon shots and 25 musket volleys, recorded so that you get one side of the conflict in each ear. They literally recorded the cannons and muskets at West Point and had an English cannon, a French cannon and a howitzer used by both sides.

I need some people to understand that I will absolutely ship two characters who would absolutely never get together in canon simply because I want to. No I don’t think they’re canon nor will I look for subtext that they like each other. In fact, I don’t even want them to be canon. I just like the art and fanfiction man. Basic info

Cannon is half mermaid, half human. She’s Riskys second in command (and her girlfriend!)

Cannon uses her knowledge from her time with the mermaids to make sea remedies and potions. It also swims through the water to do whatever it can to give Risky the advantage or to hunt.

Personal stuff

Cannons cocky, yet a klutz, with little to no common sense.

She is constantly hungry. They mostly eat kelp, but they love meat a bit too much.

Cannon can’t talk, but communicates through clicks and whistles, as well as body language. Cannon had ADHD, and anxiety induced tics. They stim, hyperfixate on random tasks, procrastinate, and hit themselves and the things around them. (Ect)

Brief History

They lived with the mermaids for most of her life. They felt like a burden because they couldn’t live underwater, as well as their disorders. They weren’t outcasted from the group, but their anxiety made it hard to feel like they were one of the others.

Eventually they ran away, and lived by themselves for years. Soon to be found by Risky. The pirate queen had no interest in her at first, but after a few days of their curious following, she decided to put them to good use. Giving them a name, and a place on the tinker slug.

The two slowly got closer and closer as time passed. Becoming partners, with dreams of becoming powerful and wealthy together.
