Unfortunately I can't use my high poly Blender Characters with my Animation because it would take a week to Render 20 seconds. That's why I use my Noxis, Ryuga and Kd - Sims, I also rendered them in Blender but left them in the Lowploy,, I only used subdivision once for them. And since my Animations are always based on the three of them, I would also like to present the Animation with them.

So I finished the BG3 after doing every side mission I could find. And.... I have feelings

So I played with the poly mod, so I romanced everyone but Lae'zel and Shadowheart who I couldn't get the romance to start for. I also had the mod that lets me have all the companions with me, so I don't know how or if that changes the ending cut scenes.

But first off, the endings were way too short. I heavily dislike endings that have you fight the final battle, give you a cut scene, then end. Give us a little something after to come down from the high of the victory and see the happiness of the ending we fought so hard for.

Speaking of happiness; I can't say I'm happy with anyone's endings. I told Lae'zel she should go back to her people cause I know that's what she's wanted this whole time, so she left to free her people. This was in my opinion the happiest companion ending I got, even though it's still bitter sweet and doesn't feel like theirs closure cause she still has to fight to free her people with no time to rest.

Astarion just started to burn in the sun and ran off, then Shadowheart was like "poor guy, no more sun for him" then I never saw him again. Kinda shitty considering everything he fought for and the fact I was in a relationship with him. And it's not like the ending just picked one of my love interests to give the ending for, since all my other partners acknowledged me as their partner in their cut scenes (more on that in a moment).

Gale just stood at the edge of the doc and was like "the crown fell into the water. Guess I gotta find it" and then talked about his ex some more before saying we'll do it together. Didn't like that his arch was left open ended as well with him still afflicted with the orb AND wanting to return to Mystra who is terrible for so many reasons.

I got nothing for Shadowheart, and I don't know if Wyll can have his own scene, but his was lumped in with Karlach's for mine. Karlach is dying, her engine burning up, and she says she loves me and is glad we could be together. Wyll was really upset and yells "my love, we have to get her back to avernus! It's the only way to save her". Karlach didn't want to go back, but we convinced her and tell her we will be there with her and will protect her till we find a way to cure her. The three of us go to avernus and it ends with us about to fight imps and I guess I'm in a poly with the two of them, which I didn't know was an option, but them both referring to me as their love in that cut scene was a scripted thing so I don't think it was cause of the mod. Either way, I hated that at the end of the game, we haven't cured Karlach and now she's back in avernus. All her endings seem to suck as, spoiler, she either dies, returns to avernus, or becomes a mind flayer and has to live in hiding. So all of her endings suck.

I hated how none of the characters felt like they got a good resolution or much closure. There wasn't a sense of happiness or real victory. That kinda thing can work in DND cause the campaign can keep going, but in a video game, where there is no way to move forward, it seriously sucks. I put 300+ hours into this game, made so many choices to ensure my companions were safe and happy, tried to get them each the best ending I could without looking up too many spoilers, and in the end, they each get 3-5 minute cut scenes where their main character quest is unfinished and left in limbo? That just feels really crushing and disheartening as a gamer. In my next playthrough, why bother trying to help Karlach? She'll still be uncured by the end. Gale's just going to go back to his abusive god or maybe still blow up. Who knows. Astarion will still be hiding in the shadows, stuck as a spawn forever.

Over all, it just kinda sucked that not one of them felt like their arch got wrapped up/resolved.

Let me start this off by saying - she thinks this is adorable.

You get embarrassed/blushy easily and you hide yourself in your wings?

My goodness, this absolutely precious.

When she first noticed/found out about this, she just went s o f t. Her smile was very soft and loving.

"Awww, ___! That's - You're so cuuute~! Do it again! Blushblushblushblush~"

She would use this to her advantage. Not in a blackmail-y way, but in a way that she could continue to coo over

Sarv would drop a few (rather cheesy) pick-up lines or whisper sweet things in your ear to try and get a reaction out of you.

She would also give you little kisses on your forehead, cheeks, or nose.

Definitely would also nuzzle you or hug you randomly just to see you get all blushy and watch you hide in your wings.

When she sees this, she will smile triumphantly, seemingly glad that she was able to make you blush like that.

This lovable demon would also tease you when you hide in your wings.

"Awww, c'mon, ____! I wanna see your pretty faaceee~!"

"Noooo."

"But you're so cute when you're all blushy and flustered and such~!"

When embarrassing you, most of the time, she doesn't really intend to do so. When she does, she will apologize, but also coo over you hiding in your wings.

If she does intend to try and embarrass you, Sarv tries not to go too far as she doesn't want you to get upset or make you uncomfortable. It would be best to tell her your boundaries before she does something like this. She will respect them!

Say someone you knew was making you uncomfortable while trying to embarrass you. Sarv would notice and would politely ask the person to stop.

"Pardon me, but I think you're making ___ rather uncomfortable. Could you please stop trying to embarrass them?"

If that person doesn't stop, she will raise her voice at them and either get Ruv to remove this person from the church, or remove them from the church

After that, Sarv will try to comfort you and/or would try to get your mind off of what had happened.

I'm gonna be honest - when you first hid yourself in your wings, he thought that he had said or did something that made you uncomfortable.

You see, Ruv here isn't very familiar with the emotions of others, save for himself and Sarvente. So, seeing how you hid in your wings when he complimented you made him think he did something to upset you.

You're going to have to explain to him that you got embarrassed and/or blushed easily, and you hide in your wings when you blush or are embarrassed.

Ruv nods as he adds this into his knowledge about you. He'd then give you a small smile.

"That's...cute, ___."

He really does think that it's adorable, and this guy's going to use this to his advantage.

He won't use it as much as Sarv does, but he will intentionally make you blush just to see you hide in your wings. Every time you do this, this man's heart just m e l t s. It's one of the most precious things he has ever seen you do.

Ruv would drop a few pick-up lines at the odd time, or would remind you that he loves you. He would try a few flirty lines to see how you would react.

This guy would also throw more compliments your way to both be a loving boyfriend and in hopes that he could see you blush and hide in your wings once more.

He would slightly tease you about your reaction, though, not too loudly. He doesn't want to bring unwanted attention to the two of you.

His teasing is all in light-hearted fun, really.

When it comes to embarrassing you, Ruv kind of feels bad for doing so. While your reaction is cute to him, he worries that he said something wrong.

"Sorry... Did I make you uncomfortable?"

If he did, he will apologize and internally cuss himself out for making you feel like that.

If he didn't, he will nod, and will still be wary of what he says to you.

This guy really cares about you, and he doesn't want to accidentally make you uncomfortable.

Polyam (Sarv x Reader x Ruv)

When these two find out that you blush/get embarrassed easily and that you tend to hide in your wings during these times, both of them would coo softly.

Expect double the teasing when you hide in your wings. Sarvente would tease you (lovingly) more than Ruv, but that doesn't mean big Russian boy won't tease you about it.

Sarvente's teases will be rather childish, while Ruv's would tend to be more straight-forward.

"Dawww~! Is someone all blushy-wushy~?"

"Look at you...~ Aren't you precious~ ... Wait. Sarv did you say 'blushy-wushy'-?"

Both of them are careful with their teases and remarks - they don't want to upset you or make you feel any sort of negative emotion.

Ruv would focus on your body language and tone while he, Sarv, or both of them are making you blush. If he sees that you're starting to look uncomfortable, he will let Sarv know.

"Sarv. ___ doesn't seem too comfortable with this anymore/right now."

"Oh? I'm so, so sorry, darling! I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable!"

They would definitely give you compliments in hopes to see you blush. They think that blushing plus compliments equal a good thing.

If someone was purposely embarrassing you publicly and making you uncomfortable, Ruv will glare the person down and either (bluntly) tell them to quit it, or will demand that they leave you alone.

Meanwhile, Sarv is asking if you're alright and shooting that person a glare of her own. How dare that person make her and Ruv's darling uncomfortable.

These two are protective of you and they both love you so, so much.

gonta is the first to notice your behaviour, and he goes to kaito to see if he's noticed anything similar. he will say that he hasn't spotted anything, but he'll look closely to see if anythings different, and tell him when he does see something.

when kaito notices how sometimes you won't brush your teeth, and you have trouble doing basic tasks, he's worried. he'll ask gonta what they should do, because they really didn't want you to feel like you're on your own.

one day, they walk up to you, wanting to get an answer with your recent behaviour. of course, they will be respectful with confronting you, but they'll try to get a direct answer if you're comfortable with it.

if you do admit to them that you have been unmotivated lately, they'll look into the situation together. they contact the ultimate therapist, and they ask for advice from mikan if she's ever dealt with demotived patients.

when they finish researching, they'll use it all to their advantage when helping you. they will also research how to get motivation, so that they can also help you get back on your feet.

kaito helps you with chores, and gonta helps you with the more physically taxing tasks. they will both help you with school, though you should probably just ask for help from people who are smart in every subject.

they'll try to help you with projects and assignments, but they're both not the best with things that aren't involving their talents. both of them will try their best though, so cut them a little slack.

a way they help you get your motivation back, is by exercising together! they both work out pretty often, so they decide that all of you should make schedules for it, so you can all lift each other up during it.

they'll remind you to drink water, eat daily, brush your teeth and clean your body through your guys' group chat. they also send supportive, wholesome memes to you, both in dms and the group chat.

will hype you up when you start to get noticeably better. they will always be patient when it comes to you helping yourself, but when you do start taking care of yourself normally, they'll be so proud of you!

gonta will lovingly ramble about you and kaito to his favorite bugs, and kaito plans to put both of your names on any planet that he'll travel too. you all love each other, have a very healthy relationship and will always be there to help each other out. its really sweet, 10/10!

(note from mod emily: i tried to bold all of fritz’ comments, but i might have missed a few! be aware there are two of us analysing here :))

The Grisha Trilogy

The first book series we asked about was, of course, the first chronologically: the Grisha Trilogy. The most popular ship, with 83% voters for this series selecting this, was Genya/David (Fritz was glad to hear that; Yes I am). This is likely due to the lack of alternate romantic interests in the series, which seems to be a major issue for Alina’s ships. It also seems to be one genuinely enjoyed by most fans, in contrast to Darkling/Alina and Mal/Alina (each around 30%) and Nikolai/Alina (just under 20%), for which I have definitely seen plenty of debate. The second and third most popular ships for this series were Tamar/Nadia (55%) and Nikolai/Zoya (47%). Interestingly, Genya/Alina (43%) and Zoya/Alina (30%) ranked surprisingly high, especially considering how few of my friends and associates I hear talking about them. Good for them!

Alina/Sun (no doubt inspired by that crack fic I wrote a while back) (Still havent read that out of fear)

Six Of Crows Duology

This series was a little less divided, I would say. Predictably, Kaz/Inej came out on top with a whopping 96% of voters (:relieved:), with Wylan/Jesper next (90%) and Nina/Matthias just after (83%). None of the others really came close, despite Nina/Inej gathering 35% of the votes and Colm/Aditi at 25% (yeah, I’m not sure why that was so popular on AO3 either, but nobody really has objections so I assume that’s why it amassed so many votes). As Six of Crows is decidedly less divisive about ships and doesn’t have such controversial ships (more on that later), it seems the fandom agrees with canon pairings and the votes are... pretty unanimous.

Whoever didn’t read the instruction about this being for only the book series and put Jesper/Milo. I will never escape. 

The Nikolai Series

This one is a little harder for me because I actually haven’t read this... so over to Fritz for analysis! But first, the stats. At 85%, the most popular ship is Genya/David, followed by Zoya/Nikolai at 77%. Tamar/Nadia and Nina/Hanne draw at 61.5% and Nina/Matthias has 56% voters onboard. There’s no real honourable mentions for this one, sadly. Hello Fritz here! Read the books and very glad to see Genya/David as the top ship as it damn well should. Although still a bit surprising since its more of a side-arc of the two and only ties in with the importance of the story at a specific chapter that I feel like I don’t need to elaborate about, if you read Rule of Wolves. (I believe the popularity of the ship also sky-rocketed due to ROW) Following of course Zoya/Nikolai, the high ranking makes sense, it is the main ship and lets be honest they deserve it <3

I think the only really surprising thing about this is the high votes for Nina/Matthias since [SPOILERS CROOKED KINGDOM] he’s dead so I feel like people should move on from that. Nina/“Hanne” having not as high a ranking as I would’ve thought, but with Matthias still being in the frame I guess we shouldn’t be surprised either.

Shadow and Bone: TV Series

This one is really interesting, with the exclusive show watchers now taking part! We have 89% voting for Kaz/Inej, 76% for David/Genya, 71% for Matthias/Nina, 67% for Ivan/Fedyor (that’s a thing???-->Yeah they had a few somewhat sweet interactions in the background-->nvm i watched it you’re right fritz) and 62% for Mal/Alina. What’s really surprising is how high Malina is compared to Darklina, with Darkling/Alina at 36%. Who knows, maybe Fritz’ analysis can shed some light on this?

Yes yes Fritz to the rescue: First of all we have to see their interactions a little different from what we already knew of them by the end of episode 8. I still think it is a surprising number, since the Darkling in the show isn’t as nasty as he was in the books BUT over all his actions are now seen on TV. We all thought the deer antlers were a necklace amirite? Well no apparently not, the darkling used the worst kind of small science to fit Alinas collarbone to the bone and out comes a gruesome sight: a reason why many people might have started thinking: Wow what a disgusting person he is. And on the Malina “ship”: Mal finally has personality!! jkjk :eyes: Mals and Alinas friendship has been portrayed way better in the show and I believe that the people noticed more chemistry between them especially by the end of season 1. So I’m still a little surprised Darklina has such a low ranking (what with him being all sweet and cuddly in the middle of the show) but it makes sense and the Malina ship as well. Their vibes are just *chefs kiss* and thats coming from someone who didnt even like any of these “ships” <3

Most Enjoyed Ships

The most enjoyed ship was Kaz/Inej. This had unparalleled support, being at 35%. Jesper/Wylan, which was next on the list (23.5%) and Nina/Matthias (18%) were also pretty popular. Most of the others were quite low, though interestingly Mal/Alina only had 1 vote (plus one for the show version). Overall, the SoC ships were a lot more popular in this section, which makes sense - this part is really about your favourite ship, and those were more unanimous in the last sections.

Least Enjoyed Ships

Most people said Darkling/Alina, which got 47% of the NOTP votes. A lot more people disliked Darkling/Alina than liked Kaz/Inej. Make of that what you will, but I take it as a somewhat general agreement among many of you guys. Mal/Alina was also strongly disliked at 22%, but around a half or more of these were clarified to be about the book version of the ship specifically. They really must’ve upgraded in the show! Jesper/Kuwei and any other Darkling ships were also voted by a few, but all of these pale in comparison to the anti-Darklina votes. Shoutout to the person who said Apparat/Anyone. I agree, though it’s not something I thought of before seeing this response. Also one person said they didn’t like the poly ships, which I hope meant just the ones mentioned earlier and not all poly relationships in general... Another shoutout to whoever said Kaz/Heleen, because why did I have to read that. A fun question, all in all!

Crack Ships and Shipping Discourse

I love talking about crack ships, so let’s start with that! This time, I really don’t want to have to count and list because... well, let me show you:

I think that sums up the sheer variety, to be honest. Then again, it would be rude not to mention that the most popular were Jesper/Milo, Darkling/Nikolai and Alina/Sun. (If you’re still confused about that last one, I take full responsibility.)

Now for the discourse. Yep, the part you probably came for. 

Actually... maybe you didn’t? Looking at all of these responses, I see a lot of people genuinely don’t care about ship wars and so on, and often enjoyed the books regardless of the romances involved. Quite a few disapproved of the ongoing (though small) wars between Darklina and Malina, and others had a similar line of thinking, saying we should maybe stop focusing so much on it. You guys are right. I know this is a ship survey, and the conclusions should not include that shipping isn’t as important as we make it (Yes it should), but... that’s where it’s at.

And then again, a lot of you guys expressed disapproval for Darkling/Alina, discussing how it is often one-sided and manipulative and overall unhealthy, so I could be completely off with that last one. Some people mentioned that they ship this but as a slightly different version that the one given to us, recognising the flaws of the canon ship.

Someone said they headcanon Tolya as aroace (OMG YES!!). We need more aroace characters, so thank you for that headcanon :) We also have a few gay ships mentioned here, and one person telling us they love Malina. Yes, you’re right - it’s pretty unpopular, it turns out. Someone else said Alina should’ve been single, and I agree, actually!

Notes from the Survey

Statistics Stuff:

The top ships were taken from AO3, so some ships may be more focused on in other books and may not provide accurate statistics for an earlier series.

The main circles this was sent around may have had bias as most people are from the same discord server, which has debated these topics in the past. Hence certain ships may have lower-than-average results. In future, this could be improved upon by sending this to other servers and areas of the fandom.

Personal bias may be present in the analysis, though I have tried to minimise this in the more formal sections.

“EVERYONE TO THE KITCHEN!” Randy called, waiting patiently before hearing thundering footsteps from every corner of the house migrating towards him.

Eventually, the other inhabitants of the house all arrived to the kitchen (Error had walked normally unlike the others). Bobby and Nightmare were already raiding the fridge and began passing out the several paper bags stored within.

“Be careful out there.” Randy said, tossing a walkie talkie to Error, “Don’t want you guys getting caught.”

Bobby rolled her eyes, “Yeah whatever mom.”

Hacker chuckled, giving Randy a small kiss on the cheek before pushing Bobby lightly, “Calm down shorty, he’s just trying to keep us alive.”

Cross had to grab Bobby before she tried to attack Hacker. After managing to calm her down and grab his bag, he tore open a portal with his knife and gestured for the others to go through.

“If we’re not back in half an hour, assume we’ve been captured.” Nightmare said, giving Randy a hug before dashing through the portal.

Everyone took a chance to hug their tall boyfriend before also going through the portal to go screw Dream over.

As the portal closed Randy chuckled and turned back to the book he was reading, “Those idiots are too good for this world.”

“Everyone got their sandwiches?” Error asked.

A chorus of “Yup”s came from the others and he nodded before opening up his own portal that lead straight into JR.

“Now remember,” Nightmare said before any of them went through, “see any sign of Dream or a guard or something, tell everyone else so we can get out of there.”

“Got it, Mr. Leader.” Hacker said, hopping through the glitching portal.

Nightmare scoffed, “How rude. And here I thought you loved me.” and stepped through after the other.

After everyone was through, Error closed the portal. He pulled out the walkie talkie Randy had given him and clicked one of the buttons on it.

“Heya big guy,” He said, “we made it to the castle.”

After a moment, the walkie crackled and a distorted version of Randy’s voice came through, “Alright, I’ll set the timer. You guys be careful.”

“Will do!” Bobby shouted.

Randy chuckled, “Love you guys.” he said and the static stopped along with his voice.

“We got the materials?” Nightmare asked.

Cross set down the pack he was carrying and opened it, revealing multiple rolls of toilet paper, cans of spray paint, silly string, and other similar items.

He grinned, “Did you expect me to forget?”

“Now what kind of boyfriend do you think I am?” Nightmare shouted indignantly, “Of course I didn’t think you forgot all of it. But if you didn’t notice, you don’t have the speakers.”

Cross frowned and dug through the bag before cursing softly, “Well, guess you were right on that one.” he sighed and slung the pack back over his shoulder, “Whatever, I think we have enough stuff to get the job done anyways.”

“Well I know I can easily work with this if you guys can’t.” Bobby said with a shrug.

“Show off.” Hacker muttered, ruffling the others hair.

“Whatever computer boy.” Bobby responded, flicking Hacker lightly.

“Alright you idiots,” Error said, getting everyone’s attention, “time to go piss off the golden bucket of KFC.”

--A few hours later--

“INK! GET IN HERE!”

Ink groaned dramatically, standing up a stretching out his sore limbs. 

“Wonder what happened this time.” He mumbled, tossing on his jacket before wandering towards the source of Dream’s very angry voice.

It didn’t take long for him to notice that something was wrong though. After a few moments of walking down the unnecessarily long halls, he heard a faint buzzing noise. He couldn’t tell if he was confused or distressed by the noise, which was also getting louder, but continued on anyways while slowly grabbing his brush.

“The heck-?” He muttered, spotting Dream standing in the hallway in front of him.

It was difficult to suppress a laugh upon seeing the other though. Dream looked very distressed to say the least. His wings were puffed up and he was somehow more stiff than usual. He was pacing around the area, obviously bothered by something when he spotted Ink.

He walked briskly over to the artist, “WHAT is that noise?!” he hissed.

Ink barely avoided bursting into laughter and managed to keep a somewhat straight face, “I’m... Not really sure. It seems to be coming from this area specifically.”

“I KNOW!” Dream shouted, causing Ink to jump in surprise, “It’s ESPECIALLY prominent in my office!” he ran his fingers through his hair, seeming to grow more distressed by the minute, “I just can’t figure out how!”

Ink slowly opened the door to Dream’s office and, sure enough, was suddenly overwhelmed by the intensity of the buzzing noise. He started poking around, trying to find the source of the sound before noticing something. He reached into a file on Dream’s desk and pulled out a small metal object. It was vibrating fast enough to make a buzzing sound and Ink could feel his hand start shaking when he picked it up. After examining the small object for a moment, he tossed it onto the floor and stomped on it, making sure to step on it a few more times and grind his heel into the shattered metal pieces for good measure.

“Found our culprit.” He said, pointing to the now unidentifiable device, “Pretty sure there’s still a bunch more though.”

Dream walked in quickly, still bristling from the sound, “Where did you find this... thing?” 

Ink gestured at the file he had found it in and Dream frowned before picking it up and opening it. Ink watched as Dream’s face went from frustrated to confused and eventually, completely enraged. He practically screamed in annoyance, throwing the file at the ground.

He grabbed Ink by his scarf, “I want this castle turned upside down to find every. Last. One. Of these damned things or so help me I’m firing all of you.”

With that, the once calm and collected CEO stormed out of his office with a look that screamed murderous intent. Still recovering from the shock of being manhandled by his boss, Ink blinked a few times before picking up the file himself. He read through it and couldn’t help but burst out laughing when he finished.

poly!legends headcanons

alright y'all so,,, i was doing the sara/charlie/zari ask the other day and then poly!legends (smth both me and mod choco Love yet clearly don't think abt/write enough lmao) popped into my head and wouldn't leave so,, headcanon time woo!! there's not really any Set relationships it's just,,, poly!legends, so ig they're all just basically dating each other, or at least,, within the parameters of their sexualities lol so like,,, i.e. ava being a lesbian wouldn't be dating any of the guys. do with that what you will. onto the headcanons!

they have giant sleepover movie nights every single week, non-negotiable, and they gather a bunch of pillows and blankets and beebos and throw them on the floor in the rec room. they get into comfy pjs (sometimes they have onesie nights where all of them have to wear a onesie for pjs- yes even you too mick- but most times its just,,, whatever they wanna wear for pjs). they're all in a massive cuddle pile and it's practically the only time they can all have a collective date night bc there's Too Many of them to do much else lmfao

after any really hard crossover missions they forgo the cleanup and instead just have giant cuddle puddles in the middle of wherever they are, because they're all like,,, terrified about the potential of losing each other. everyone else has to clean up around them bc they refuse to move. kara always ends up in the cuddle puddle eventually, bc she pouts and looks longingly until someone tells her to go cuddle

gideon would be such a little shit lmao she would tease all of them about Everything,,, without mercy. everything is fair game. also she has,,, no idea how like half of these relationships even work out but at the same time,,, she doesn't really need to know?? she's just happy that they all found each other and that she was able to witness all of these friendships/relationships/connections form so,,, (the legends all 100% band together to get the science nerds to figure out how to let human!gideon come out every so often bc let's be honest they're all shook by her and they definitely all think she's hot lmao. gideon doesn't know how she somehow ended up in the midst of poly!legends but she doesn't really think she'd change a thing)

they have so many smaller sleepovers too like,,, in between the giant movie night sleepovers. like they all kinda more or less have their main relationship(s) or w/e but they're all still generally dating each other so it's definitely not uncommon at all for there to be smaller sleepovers in any of the rooms on any given night, because they all like spending time together but they have to limit the giant movie nights to no more than once a week bc they can't just,,, permanently set up shop in the rec room and also there are no beds that will fit All of them but they definitely cannot just sleep on the floor with pillows and blankets every night so,,, they make do lmao

all the other superteams are lowkey scared of/intimidated by the legends (and also probably just,,, a little bit scarred for life lmao) bc they've portaled onto the waverider w/o calling ahead before and they've,,, seen and heard some shit,,, and although the other superteams don't necessarily understand like,,, how,,, the legends exist and operate like they do they also like,,, respect them for it too bc like,,, they're all dating each other and they're all also Living together and they,,, have not killed each other yet (at least not Intentionally,,, and i mean,,, they get on each other's nerves and prob Threaten death but that's just How They Are,,, esp with, for the most part, emotionally constipated pyromaniac/thief and former assassin and just,,, everyone else,,, it's just How the legends Are lmao)

also there are,,, so many different levels of affection with them lmao cause like,,, you've got a few who are very openly physically affectionate with everyone (also dependent upon the other person's comfort level w/ affection though), like say ray and nate and mona, and then there's like,,, sara, who's love language Is physical touch but she's much more guarded about it and reserved with it and then there's like,,, mick who is like,,, absolutely Not with physical affection unless it's with snart or like,,, mona (and like,, lita too obvi but that's obvi parental and not some type of poly relationship lmao). but he shows his affection for everyone else in other ways lmao so,,, outside people probably find it very amusing and confusing to watch

speaking of lita, her visits to the waverider are super fun lmao it's always a surprise, she never knows quite what's gonna happen lmao. it's always an adventure n she's got so many aunts and uncles now

also?? there are,,,, So Many "meet the parents" and each time is just,,, utter chaos and confusion. quentin (and dinah) were def the most chill with it, after all they've seen (esp quentin) they're both just like "yeah alright this is just a normal tuesday". everyone else's parents' reactions range from "a little confused but supportive" to "it didn't go very well" and uh,,, anyway quentin and dinah are like,,, "fuck it we have So Many kids now" lmao

sometimes they all try to go on like,,, big proper collective dates that aren't just,,,, movie nights on the waverider, but it almost always ends in disaster lmao. they've tried lasertag and paintball, they've tried escape rooms, they've tried amusement parks,,, it just Always ends in absolute chaos and disaster

There are only two love interest but it's NOT a love triangle story, (there is a poly route tho). Love triangles make me super uncomfy and anxious but I'm scared to death of the possible backlash because I know people really, reaaaally love that trope.

I've lived with bullying most of my life but I'm still not very good at handling it, do you have any advice on how to deal with hate? ;w;

Oh bro same, I hate love triangles with a passion. Like, I’d rather have to drink rhino piss than ever have to play a love triangle path, UGH. (Honestly, you can put in your game’s forum page -if you go thru CS- that you do not want talk about love triangles nor complaints about it not having one in your comments, and you can 100% flag comments and have em removed for going off-topic/disregarding what you’ve requested people not do! Ask ms rose-court if you need help with that!!!)

Oh, I also was a survivor of SEVERE bullying in school, and I am also still not good at dealing with it, to this day. The first time I got some negative comments on the forums, I was CRUSHED. I had rarely had any negativity on my fanfics, my creative writing stuff in college/school, and what have you. But the first negative comments I got there? They hurt. The first few gross anons we got here? Those hurt a little, too. But eventually, I figured a few things out:

1. Anon hate? Those are a bunch of lil bitches. If someone can’t even stand by their words and put their name to it? Clearly that’s someone who has knowingly said something that will get them backlash, something that is cruel and mean-spirited, or both, and is too afraid of being called out on their nastiness. Basically, anon hate? Block and delete; I know I’m one to talk, but also I like making them look like idiots, lol.

2. Okay, so, take things people say on the forums with a very big grain of salt. Yes, there CAN be good feedback there, but also? A lot of people complain/be nasty without giving any actual feedback (which you can also flag as it’s against the rules to do that!). And a lot, and I do mean a lot, of people there are just in general very unpleasant to deal with. You are also absolutely 100% not obligated to respond. If someone makes you uncomfortable/says something nasty that isn’t quite against the rules, you are 100% allowed to ignore them. Never forget this.

3. You don’t have to incorporate the feedback that is given to you, no matter how forcible someone is that it is needed. In fact, if you feel someone is trying to force you to do something? Tell them to please stop or contact a mod.

4. Always have someone to vent to. Always. (Feel free to vent to us!) If you have to compile all the nonsense on just yourself, it gets super taxing, and can even cause you to burn out/lose interest in writing/become unable to write due to anxiety. Support groups help!!!

Overall, we ignore the hate or we make jokes about it! That’s our main way of dealing with it. If you need anything, be it coding help or venting, please let us know!!!

Poly Farmer with Sebastian and Sam!

Sam and Sebastian have crushed on each other for years. It’s painfully obvious to anyone that interacts with them.

When the Farmer shows up, they’re both very confused. They like each other, but they like you, too. Sebastian’s more angry than anything because he doesn’t understand it. He knew polyamory was a thing, he just never saw himself as someone like that.

Sam, on the other hand, hasn’t ever been too educated on different relationships. He didn’t even know you could date multiple people at the same time. But holy shit, now he really wanted to.

There’s two glaring issues that neither want to address: one, they don’t even know if you like either of them, and two, they don’t know that they like each other. So things are very dysfunctional and awkward for a while.

The Farmer starts to date Seb first. At first, they’re a little worried, because he always makes such longing faces whenever he sees Sam. He says it’s nothing, and he’ll tell you some other time.

Well, it’s officially Some Other Time. The Farmer has to ask what’s up with him. It’s a very long and painful discussion for Sebastian, but he eventually admits that he likes both of you. He’s liked Sam for years now, too.

The Farmer recalls a time before they were dating where Sam had mentioned something about having a crush on someone in the valley. A guy, specifically. The Farmer can’t see him dating Alex, and Shane and Harvey seem a bit older than him, so by process of elimination, it had to be Sebastian!

They decide that they’re going to try to subtly drop hints to Sam that they want to date him. Problem is, Sam is about as dense as they come. Every advance they make is always met with a laugh and a joke, or is ignored completely.

What they don’t know is that Sam is also confused. He doesn’t feel right crushing on his two best friends, who also happen to be dating. It’s wrong.

One night, when they’re all at the saloon together without Abigail (she had gotten sick) Seb works up the courage to shyly ask him if he’d ever thought about dating anyone here. Sam is in a corner, trying his best to give a nonchalant answer about it.

It doesn’t work and his cover completely fails. He says everything on the spot, even spouting some things that made the Farmer and Sebastian’s face flush a dark red.

Once he’s done, he’s getting ready to leave, having thouroughly embarrassed himself. Seb stops him, nearly shouting that they both wanted to date him. Luckily, the music was blasting in the saloon, so nobody heard (except maybe Shane, who didn’t care enough to listen in).

Sam is shocked, obviously. Not only does one of his crushes want to date him, two of them do? He asks someone to pinch him or maybe punch him in the face. He’s definitely dreaming.

Sebastian says that he and the Farmer have been talking about this a lot, and they wanted to date Sam too, if he’d have them. He says yes, or course, scooping both of them in his arms.

After that, their relationship is like before, only they kiss and cuddle a lot more. Robin doesn’t ask anything about it, but even a fool could tell that she’s just excited to see Seb so happy.

I feel like Sam is the first one to propose after they’ve all been dating for a while. They all move in to the farmhouse together, living happily ever after.

Listen I could go on about this for hours. Poly Sam/Seb/Farmer is the cutest thing ever and I love it. Somebody needs to write me a fic rn. 😡😡
