#kingdom hearts dream drop distance #khddd #sora #riku #nightmare's end #mirage split #my gif #i was going to write up a whole thing in the tags about my thoughts on this keyblade #but i just know it'll be an incoherent essay because i can't properly articulate my thoughts #the x-blade must be forged through a clash of light and darkness #but i find it so highly significant that sora and riku can create their own keyblade which is so unheard of #this keyblade isn't created with a clash but rather through harmony and balance #not with conflict but with understanding and connection and love #and i always felt as though that's how the x-blade SHOULD be forged. that master xehanort went about it all wrong #because balance and connections are such important themes in these games #it has two handles and looks so regal when combined. all of the shapes feel reminiscent of the x-blade too #it shines so brilliantly with both sora and riku's symbols. the heart and crown which is the iconic logo for the entire series #also the way stained glass is always used to represent hearts. it's so significant!#and yeah the paupu fruit keychain is its own thing to unpack #okay so i ended up writing something anyway but there's still so much more #i just really hope we get to see more of this in future games because it would be shocking if it was nothing more than a cool combo attack

whole is a human being who is a "god", but in the way that god is seen as above or "more" than humanity. like how an intact vase is more complete and less flawed than a broken shard of a vase. do you see my vision.

#loscar #logan sargeant #ls2 #oscar piastri #op81 #and now starts the rant #my fave detail is probably tge eye. there few beads like this and they were laying around until my friend said that they look loscar relate #so o started making making whole thing around that bc in my opinion it's genius (also sorry this is gonna have extremely long tags bc i had #run out of them once. maximum is 30 apparently)#I'll go by lains from here so first obviously eagle. i think it's hilarious and what's even funnier is that i bought those charms before #even knowing who Logan was. just for shit and giggles #also to coala i added a bead on top to somewhat match the height #also i love mixing up their colours bc I'm insane about that. how they ideal negatives of eachother and how orange fits logan while blue-os #so i also mixed it up with those animals charms and their attachments here #next stop - oscar lane. there not a lot of black which is bas but at least last heart is actually black. beads above it represents eyes #(you can see with doodles) and next one is for his hair but i couldn't find how to show it #and round see through bead i use for his helmet bc it shines with red yellow and blue #middle part - i talked about the eye but also beads above it. i tried to match tones so they won't clash #then fish and i love that it's in form of heart bc i associate both of them with water so much i needed something here #and bead underneath that is for Logan eyes ofc. for doodles there tried to use brown so oscar would have blond/logan brown but didn't work #AND READ HEART. “-WELL IT'S NOT YELLOW” “PREMA RED THEN?”#as you can see I'm totally normal about their prema times plus i love how it stands out with everything else and can be read as #usual meaning of red hearts. also made out of corals so it fits them too #and last but not least - Logan my beloved #first and foremost STARS #I added as much as humanly possible party bc of American meme party bc i fucking love stars and associate him with them #also added all williams shades of blue and even white so it covers all that #okay no I lied a bit bc i used a button for their dark blue #another thing i would like to mention is metal ring bc it has extremely small hearts on it that you need to look for to notice #I HIT LIMIT FUCK.last thing to say is how I tried to play with circles in middle of every lane. okay goodbye

some inspos are sky children of the light, over the garden wall, adventure time, and zelda . again , weird mix , i knowwww . but!!!

i would need an entire doc to list all the things i've written on him thus far but i'd love asks/questions (and perhaps suggestions!)

im gonna be real here... most of the changes have to be the fact he has a cape and, messy hair, with flowers/leaves caught in it (ever heard of a brush???)

God, Xi Ping and Zhi Xiu have such fantastic chemistry as characters. From the moment they meet, their every interaction is a delight.

Xi Ping drives Zhi Xiu fucking insane (like he does everyone), but Zhi Xiu also clearly gets a kick out of him from jump. He adds him to the selection list just for a laugh after seeing his list of "crimes," and he's openly entertained by his audacity when he talks to Pang Jian and Su Zhun. Zhi Xiu scolds Xi Ping not to be rude out of obligation, but he never actually stops him from back-talking Shed Skins and such later in the novel.

Xi Ping is a fucking menace, but he's his menace. Big, emotional, Way of the Heart-shifting impacts aside, Xi Ping is Zhi Xiu's pet funny little guy. He's the problem that he knows he should be scolding, yet can't help but enjoy. He's like a rascally cat.

And on a serious note, I can't help but think that there's a reason Zhi "do not be a god" Xiu immediately gets along so well with the mortal boy who dares to drink from an immortal's wine pot. Frustrating as Xi Ping is, Zhi Xiu doesn't want to be revered, so of course he gets a kick out of the guy audacious enough to treat him like just another man.

#can you tell I've gotten to fragrant jade miasma in my reread?#they're just so good together!!#every time they interact it puts a smile on my face #the intense familial love/protectiveness and bone deep understanding later in the novel is excellent #general zhi's choice to be xi ping's moral compass and use his need to be an example for him as his own compass in turn #it's fantastic #but there's also something so charming about these early sections when they're still getting to know each other #absolute clownshow of a master and disciple who can't help but have fun and get along even as they struggle #zhi xiu and duanrui are the first two ascended spirits we meet #and duanrui's way of the heart is the embodiment of the worst parts of the cultivation sects. cultivation as a sledgehammer to individualit #whereas zhi xiu represents the ultimate embodiment of how human a powerful cultivator can still be #I love him #tai sui #zhi xiu #xi ping #tai sui priest #english major hours #taisuiposting #zhi xiu my beloved
