Can we talk about how normal and incredibly human Luffy was in this scene?
His earth shattering grief didnt awaken any supernatural haki or abilities within him, instead it overwhelmed him, it was destroying him. The bleeding from his throat while his eyes lose focus and his body goes into shock - grief is ugly, loud, destructive and it tears you apart and leaves you vulnerable out in the open- thats what happening to him.
This was Luffy's, a 17 year old kid's moment of overwhelming realization that humans are powerless and weak on the face of death as his brother bled out in his arms while he (and world's most powerful pirate whitebeard) watched it helplessly. This was the biggest loss of his life as he understood that sometimes no matter how hard you try, things don't work out for you. This was when Luffy witnessed the consequence of the path he (and ace) had chosen, that a pirate life was actually much harder than just adventure and freedom and that there was a heavy price to pay, that death could take anyone anytime.
This wasnt just sadness, this was the end of the world for Luffy and he wasn't the same person after this moment.

How to explain to ppl that jokes are the foundations to a lot of bigotry... Like you let ppl you don't know start laughing at jokes poking fun at groups they aren't in and that's where they start to get comfortable with being bigoted and then using "it was just a joke" as a defense

i love that out of every moment ford is on screen, the saddest we see him is directly after erasing stan's mind. not only has he just lost his brother, but he's also just killed bill- the being who his life used to be completely devoted to. for all the arguments he and stan have had and all the unresolved elements of their past, ford feels just as awful about losing stan as stan felt after ford was sucked into the portal. and despite the literal torture he's just endured from bill, ford still can't forget all of the good times they had together; the karaoke nights and the moments of vulnerability, the chess games and the feeling of having a partner. because bill may be the most toxic ex imaginable, but that doesn't mean ford won't miss him. he hesitates pulling the trigger, and he's miserable when he does.
ford is so guarded so much of the time. he works alone, he trusts no-one, and he builds walls that are next to impossible to break down. and yet, in this scene, there are so many silent tells on just how distraught he is. ford saves the world. but in doing so, he erases the centers of his.

yesterday i hooked my phone up to a radio w/this new aux able i bought to play music for the kids at work, and i was kind of surprised how i could basically just play everything i had downloaded on my phone for the kids (bc i've been too lazy to build playlists on it) until later, i was sitting at the front desk, typing stuff up, and then i heard a green day song start playing, and i fucking sprinted back inside bc even tho i think punk would be good for the kids, most of them are single-digit ages, and i am NOT gonna be the adult who lets them hear the word "fuck"
#i don't think the kids would have even noticed tbh; and the song was 'basket case' so it's like. there's not much objectionable in there#like i was like. thirteen when i first heard that song n granted i grew up sheltered. but i was like 'what's a hoar'#(bc i didn't know that it was spelled 'whore' until i was like. sixteen or something lol)#and just moved on with my day lmao#the worm speaks#at one point i popped back into the room (bc due to Shenanigans i was checking on this one girl in another room) n cazzo by ?te was playing#and i was like 'ohhhh my god' n skipped it bc even tho those kids most certainly do not get what the song is about. it did not sit right#and then i skipped this one song bc it said 'bitch' in it exactly once <3 but that's about all actually#the utena op played at one point n i was like 'should i-- NAHHHH they've never seen utena and it's in jp it'll be Fine'#also i was granted a whistle yesterday n the first time i used it i used it the way i would outside (as like a drum major)#(we were indoors) and HOOOOOO BOY THE SILENCE THAT FELL OVER THE ROOM.#i said 'as you can see i have been granted a whistle now and i have a lot of lung to use it so i'd appreciate it if we could listen'#at one point yesterday i put the whistle in my mouth n looked over the kids n they just H U S H E D#i will have to learn how to reign in a whistle sound but i think in general whistles shouldn't be used indoors. like as a rule.#the reason i received a whistle is bc we were playing this new game i made up called 'court of law'#it was inspired by the fact that during winter camp some kids had an argument over a pokemon card that was given away#and so i gathered all the relevant children around and wrote down everyone's testimonies n stuff to sort it out like it was a courtroom#but what ended up happening yesterday is that the kids n i just larped courtroom dramas or something idk but it was fun <3#ALSO YESTERDAY this one kid (the clever one) came up to me when i let kids play with the whiteboard n he was like#'mys. [hua] they're not listening to me with the whiteboard :('#n i looked him straight in the eye n said 'damn [caleb] that sucks wonder how that must feel.'#(he's a good kid; probably my favorite; and he does listen!! he knows how to put on good behavior and ham it up)#(and he has Child Charisma that obviously works on the other kids very well. he has Leaderly Qualities that i have no idea how to nurture.)#(but also he has problems with interrupting staff and trying to worm his way out of Situations(tm).)#we were so short-staffed yesterday. oh my god. i was like the only one watching like 25 kids for like an hour#which would've probably gone better had i known i'd be the only one for that long n was able to plan ahead a bit more

So just earlier i saw the “raising a pet together” game on tiktok, and i was on a freenzy, IT’S JUST TOO CUTE 🥹 and i’m too single to have anybody to do it with me lol.
What would be their reaction when the MC got them to downloaded the app and raise the virtual pet together?
COMMENTS: Well, I didn't know about this game, so I asked Gemini (Bard) about it to find out a little more about this type of game. Long story short: I told some of my friends about this game and now we are taking care of a virtual kitten together 😊 Thank you so much for the request 😉
What I wrote is based on my little experience playing the game called Pokipet. I hope you and all enjoy 🐶🐱

It's so wonderful to have another person he can rely on and share responsibilities with. You're so good at taking the weight off his shoulders and making him feel at ease.
He will definitely try to use this game to convince you to take care of the real Cerebrus with him instead of a virtual pet.

In terms of the pet's needs, he will probably just play with it. And give it treats. He will try to do the minigames to earn more money, but regardless of whether he is good at these minigames or not, he will continue to spend more money than he can earn.
But despite everything, he will try to be as helpful as possible and genuinely try to take care of Goldie so you don't have to do all the work. Sometimes he will even surprise you by taking really ood care of it.
