sanji hits different cz he is so warm, thoughtful and loving and because he did NOT have to do that for law. Their ship was already close to Dressrosa and Law probably could just get himself something to eat when they landed (robin usopp law and Caesar did go to a cafe near green bit to hide in dressrosa), but sanji still made the rice cakes for law so he would not have to starve for the extra few hours

Punk Hazard children & sanji

People like to say sanji was ooc/rude/selfish in the scene of biscuit room but I'd say that sanji wasn't any of those at all and he was right on point as usual

Now onto the scene, they were all asking around as to what that place was, a nursery? A daycare? A hospital? (See? speculation because the children were healthy and happy playing in a safe environment). Now Let's analyze the situation :

Context for the children : Sanji explicitly says that they didn't know if the kids're there for treatment or not... sanji's logic seemed reasonable to me because a hospital/treatment facility would be a boring place for a child and they'd naturally be homesick and wanna go outside (even if it's dangerous). They didnt know what was going on with the children. They didn’t even know about the existence of Caesar. Hell, they didnt know Caesar was a bad person until Chopper discovered drugs in the candy much much later. Also sanji's reasoning was explicitly stated, and even Nami agreed with him on the very next panel

context for the enemy : They had ZERO context at the time. Even if punk hazard was Sketchy and something WAS going on for sure, they didnt know what type of enemies they'll be facing. They didnt know about Caesar or doflamingo or who is there. Moreover sanji was the main combatant in that group and he had the responsibility of keeping them safe. And with sanji's tendency and foresight to take every possible bad outcome into consideration (that has saved the strawhats' butts several times that i wont elaborate here), it was obvious that he wouldn't take these children with them. Sanji is kind, not dumb.

Risk for the children : Again, when they realized it was a hospital, from their pov, it was a specialized facility for children with a rare disease. And taking 'patients' out of their safe sterilized environment could even kill those patients (they could get infected and/or spread the disease to others), esp in an island like punk hazard where it's like a warzone outside, half of the island is tundra while the other half is covered in LAVA. I'd say NAMI was the irrational one in that situation, because she decided to just barge outside in the snow with a bunch of supposedly sick kids not appropriately dressed or prepared for the weather. If kinemon did not have his dressup ability, the kids would've died from hypothermia. Secondly, The kids were very easy targets (given some of them are LARGE sized and they are literal CHILDREN) and if you consider vergo Monet etc showing up attacking the kids, all of the children would be dead INCLUDING THE STRAWHATS.

The children's condition : the group did break the children out and what happens? When the kids start going through withdrawals, they start attacking them. If Law wasnt present to form alliance and take chopper inside to find the antidotes... the children, nami usopp all would be dead because of nami's rash decision. They didn't even know how to restrain those children and almost died like 20 minutes into rescuing them.

The pirate stigma : even nami says it as she hands over the kids to tashigi (navy). A pirate crew carrying a bunch of children would just bring more risk and problems for both parties involved. (Again, she was impulsive in the biscuit room). They would be kidnappers if shit actually was different.

At the same time sanji is the one who risked his life to save the men and tashigi from the gas. He fought vergo, he saved kinemon, he protected his friends, he was perfect.

Favourite Punk Hazard sanji moments

(1) Sanji staying firm on his PROTECC WOMEN business by saying he'd just die instead of attacking a woman in a battle

(2) Kindness : Sanji taking kinemon with him when he said that he had come to rescue his son. Sanji's face says it all when he hears kinemon's reason, softhearted beau.

Later, he saves the people of G5 at the risk of his own life. He fights and holds back vergo while the gate closes down. People say he only cared for tashigi, but he held vergo back from following the entire G5 unit even when tashigi was already safely escorted, knowing full well if he couldn't find his way back, he'd be dead in the gas. No wonder the G5 navy falls in love with him just like me and mutuals fr

(3) Thoughtful : This is silly but when sanji was in nami's body, he was conscious of not hurting her body or getting bruises. And even excusing himself everytime he reached for a cigarette lol he's so elegant and well-mannered.

(4) Responsible : sanji rescued kinemon from the prison and kept watching out for his safety, going as far as diving into a shark-infested frozen poison river to retrieve kinemon's torso (and fighting a shark underwater in the process)

(5) I've already said it but I love how dedicated and knowledgeable sanji is about cooking and how the digestive system works. Momonosuke had been starving for 10 days so he gave him soup first

(6) sweet perfect sanji being severely injured when he gets his body back but being thankful that his body got hurt instead of nami's

(7) This is one for the history books, Sanji showing up to kick vergo's ass for hurting tashigi

(8) Intelligent : This is a small moment but still I love how Sanji always catches on what's going on with the enemy. His quick thinking helped again when caeser's smiley was attacking their little group (zoro, kinemon, sanji in nami's body)

I love sabo cz he is so bougie and elegant in his outfits but he also understands the importance of carrying around the sickass stick he found in a junkyard when he was 10

you're talking about lifetimes but sasunaru have done all of these in the same life before even hitting 20

Soulmates Au, but in the weird and fucked up sort of way. In one universe they try to kill each other forever, in another they're childhood best friends, in another they're married with three children and a dog. If one dies the other loses their purpose, they hurt each other and everyone around them, they hurt each other now because they also hurt each other in the past, sometimes they look at each other and only see a version of themselves that died long ago. They'll always be together, always chase each other in one way or another, they'll always crash and burn beautifully again and again.

They're inevitable.

Favourite pre-timeskip Sanji moments

These are a few of my favourite pre ts sanji moments

(1) Baratie arc when sanji served fresh food for don krieg despite everyone telling him that krieg was notorious for betraying people. Sanji still served the food because of his value of "feeding the hungry no matter what"

(2) Sweet sanji preparing bentos for Luffy vivi and a special drink for Vivi's duck karoo so they can go explore the little garden island. Also packing and tying the lunches for the kids (luffy and karoo) by himself

(3) water 7 Sanji following his principle of "never waste food" while fighting CP7's ramen guy wanze (who had a full ramen armour and sanji cut his armour up and served the ramens all in different plates around the kitchen)

(4) thriller bark Sanji holding an unconscious nami up so she won't get injured while he takes all the hits from Absalom He's not just a simp, he genuinely cares for nami

(5) water 7 Sanji smoking a cigarette while spying and finding out sensitive government information

(6) Post enies lobby filler sanji crying throwing up stressing over finding out the right spices of a fried rice. He is a true chef at heart and has so much love for his craft

(7) post skypiea filler G-8 arc sanji when someone says he is better than all of the navy chefs and sanji cutely offers to give his recipes to them. He is so cute kind and humble

(8) sabaody sanji kicking the Celestial dragon knowing what'll happen and not giving a fuck anyway

(9) skypiea sanji being all big smiles and happy while showing conis the bento he has arranged for her and telling them how arranging food is an art (look at the little winged angel he put there as a representation for conis who has wings)

(10) Sanji leaving a message for nami in water 7, even in the dire situation they were in (usopp left, robin was abducted, they were all accused of murder) sanji being his usual cute loser self

no matter how cold it gets his chest is always out cz a hoe never gets cold

so going without food for long periods of time completely resets (fucks up) your digestion and metabolism and you have to reintroduce food to your system slowly with lighter foods like smoothie juice soup etc and while sanji usually is very knowledgeable about nutrition and diet, do you realize that this particular piece of knowledge came from his own experience with starvation my beautiful precious sanji has suffered so much :(

Punk Hazard Thoughts

Starting Dressrosa soon so here are my punk hazard thoughts so far. Tbh Punk Hazard felt like more of an introduction arc to some other bigger issues that'll be explored later.

Wano : the mention of wano kingdom will be significant in the future im guessing since isnt there like a whole arc with that name? So, 📝 The swordsmen of wano kingdom are called samurai and wano is closed off to the rest of the world, and not even the world government has any connection with wano.

Luffy's new ability: omg Luffy is now immune to poison? He is hearty even after Caesar gave him the poison gas Thanks to fuckass Magellan from impel down LMAO

Luffy & Momonosuke : it's just way too cute also Luffy calling him "momo" and momo is also so cutely wrapping around Luffy's neck like an accessory i love them your honor

Luffy & Law : I was wondering why there was so many lawlu shippers everywhere. Now i know LMAO Law is cunty as hell and his power looks intimidating as wel.l Can't wait to see more of lawlu as the story progresses

clown thought : will Wano arc have a lot of development for zoro? Hope so, I'd love to see his personality get explored more, he's lovely and deserves more depth and like how whole cake would be a sanji fest i hope wano would be a zoro fest!

Characters : i felt bad for Monet, she's charming and pretty. Mocha is GOAT, such a kind child. Caesar Clown is funny as fuck, i enjoy his dumbassery so much, hope I'll keep seeing him! He has the potential to become a comedic relief like buggy lol
