Unova x DSMP : The spectral league member Callahan

Accompanied by his trusty and sweet Jellicent, Callahan is a total mystery. His white eyes glowing under his mask and his mute demeanour unsettle the trainers going against him

It is rumored Callahan met his Jellycent as he was fishing near the sea shore. To the fishers confusion that saw the scene from afar, Callahan never seemed to fear the pokemon and the pink Frillish didn't try to attack the young man, simply watching him.

Many tried to rationalize the strange behavior by theorizing the boy was simply giving it his preys of the day and buying its friendship : most old fishers disagreed, whispering between themselves that maybe the boy wasn't suited for consumption.

When Callahan and the pink Frillish suddenly disappeared one morning, a strange calm fell on the neighborhood. Though terrible, the tragedy had brought back the comfort of reality and the danger of the sea.

Callahan was the first League member, present even before the Unova Champion took his title. He takes care of the castle with swift devotion and is actually quite charming and mischevious for the trainers that manage to see through his chilling appearance.

What are the Polterpups' favorite toys?

Hockey pucks, cardboard, and Callahan!

Cardboard is really less of a 'toy' and more a tool they use to bait stadium staff and athletes into chasing them around for a bit of fun (and also it tears up very nicely and helps calm the gnawing hunger in some of them), and hockey pucks are an easy item they can boredom-chew without getting in trouble for damaging anything (since the pups only have teeth when they're truly angry) that can also be thrown/hit/rolled for them to fetch.

The Polterpups as a whole are easily excitable and prone to excitement displacement tactics, as well, and some of them self-soothe by chomping on their boss. Callahan's natural icy-ness and relatively steady emotions (y'know...when he's not causing a blizzard or two >.>) helps ground them before they can get too worked up and bite something/someone they're not supposed to.

it was "fandom lore" that he was irish, but apparently we didn't have much evidence for that beyond him having an Irish flag in a bio of his (which could also mean he's irish-american, as a lot of people take that as a matter of pride)
