Thought ab Southern William and Petnames again

Specifically about this poor man getting thrown into the city life, not quite being able to pick out what’s ‘too southern’ to act on - getting glared at because he keeps calling random people sweetheart and honey and he has no idea why he’s getting that response

It takes him months to realize no one ever really does it back to him there and that it’s been he’s like accidentally hitting on people instead of it being taken as just a sort of kindness like back at Deadwood

what nature sceneary do u think matches the party's vibe the most? (ex. the beach, forests, rocky mountains, ect)

Oooo, that's a good question

I think I just really associate the party with Hawkins in general, so when I think of them related to nature scenery I kinda think of, like, an early autumn trip to a local river. There's still reminents of summer but its a bit chilly, it's the type of place where friends can have picnics and hangout but its not very out in the open so you can act as weird as you want. I feel like its the type of place the party might hang out in after its all over, you get what I mean?

I used to have a lot of respect for this professor but now i watched his talk about propaganda and he is playing it SO safe when talking about palestine 😭 this guy is smashing politicians left and right for buying into and furthering disinformation and propaganda but when it's about palestine it's all "both sides" like he talks about how a huge number of journalists were killed in the conflict and that's why the flow of information has been so muddled but he never mentions that they were palestinian. He also in his wording makes it seem like this conflict is too complicated for us outsiders to possibly understand like hello?? He never calls it a genocide either and cites a zionist in a positive way
