Sure, here's some headcanons.

Okay, you were definitely the reason why Rufus was late to some conferences. You tend to get sleepy on the drive or flights, and your sleepiness is CONTAGIOUS.

Your tendency to sleep in odd places led to him creating a game of where the hell you could be sleeping at when you're nowhere to be found. Even the Turks got in on it, since they're sometimes sent to retrieve you.

Don't ask how, but somehow you've managed to fall asleep while hiding in his trench coat during some important business meetings.

Despite that, he finds a way to keep them going even though you looked incredibly cute while snoozing away. Expect him to discreetly slide his hand under his trench coat to stroke your head occasionally.

And no one is gonna say a damn thing when he carries your petite body out of the room when the meetings are over. Kinda because they're already used to your weird sleeping antics.

He'd get a little antsy about you going into small spaces like cabinets because he couldn't go in there to cuddle with you.

He already pampers you, but expect for him to buy you luxurious blankets made from the finest silk to ensure your comfort while sleeping.

You almost missed his inauguration because your sleepiness struck you at the worst time, but thankfully, Tseng managed to bail you out.

Sometimes, yhe sudden silence in Rufus' office always makes Reno and Rude feel uneasy as they cautiously approach. They fear that they might interrupt a... "certain" moment between the two of you. Through, much to their relief, they often just find you and Rufus snuggling.

Rufus switches between being the big and little spoon, depending on how draining his busy day was. You're happy to adjust for him either way.

Sometimes, he will have to sneak into bed with you to sleep. Once he's in your embrace, he'll have a tough time getting out of bed in the morning.

Okay, I'm going to ramble to you about a theory I have, please excuse me.

So, a couple years ago when Letterboxd was reaching peak interest among people, Netflix made an Instagram post about each of the Stranger Things's characters top four movies.

Steve's top movie, I believe, was Animal House. Eddie's was Spinal Tap. Dustin's was The Neverending Story. Just so you know what I'm talking about.

Right. Anyway, they said Robin's number one favorite movie would be The Apartment (1960). This makes sense for her, as she likes black and white film, she's obviously big into film. So, kudos to Netflix for being on the dot, I suppose. Now, I just watched this movie tonight, I totally see the appeal. It's my favorite now, too.

But...I noticed something.

This is the main love interest in The Apartment, her name is Fran Kubelik:

She falls in love with the wrong guys, she's unhappy in the relationship she's in (I won't spoil the relationship she's in, so go watch this or look up spark notes or something), she's in love with the guy, but the guy doesn't love her. She tells the main character, C.C. Braxter, that she wishes she could love somebody like him because he's so nice. He rambles a lot, knows a lot of (almost pointless) information, feels hopeless in his romantic endeavors, is on his own—no family, no spouse, not a lot of friends—ultimately very unhappy with how his life is going.

Anyway. I, for one, think C.C. fits Robin's description quite a bit. Not in a lot of ways, but some key components of the character's personality and life match Robin's outlook on her own life. And, I got to thinking, well, who does Fran remind me of...

May I present Vickie, Robin's crush in season 4:

Now, Vickie is stuck in an unhappy relationship. At least from what I remember. She loves her boyfriend, her boyfriend isn't very into her...that kind of thing. She gets caught out by Robin in the military surplus store, which semi-resembles a major plot point in The Apartment (seriously, go watch it or look up what happens; I'm not spoiling it for you). But then, at the end of the season, she talks to Robin about being happy because she broke up with her boyfriend, and that makes Robin even more interested in talking to Vickie (which resembles another big plot point in The Apartment).

Another thing I noticed, though, is that Vickie and Fran resemble each other physically. The makeup, the fucking hair, even the facial structures are very similar. I mean...if The Apartment is Robin's favorite movie of all time...then, Fran has to be her lesbian awakening—yeah? Or maybe even first celebrity crush? Or maybe she just likes Fran because Fran reminds her of Vickie? Or what if she likes Vickie because Fran is her type?

My theory is that Robin loves The Apartment, yes absolutely, but also she likes Vickie because she has a fangirl crush on Fran.

Also, also, I will say trigger warning for The Apartment if you do decide to watch it, there is a suicide attempt (that isn't shown, but the aftermath of that is), and a discussed suicide attempt. That's the only plot I'm spoiling. Now go watch it.

Rats In Court Anyone?

I honestly had way to much fun with drawing these. I love my silly little rats so much, these were completely and unabashedly self indulgent drawings ♡

I did steal the backgrounds from Ace Attorney Apollo Justice, but can you really blame me? Anyways, these are basically practice drawings for a little game I'm making to play with some discord friends later. It's very obviously an Ace Attorney spin off, but we will be playing it almost like a DnD game since there is no way I can make this a video game myself.

Four of the characters I have drawn here I've drawn before. They're the rat versions of some bfucu characters. The other two are ocs. From left to right, top to bottom, we have Niko "Night Night" Bergara, Henry "Long Legs" Madej, Kira Norris, Edward Pyrite, Ricky Goldsworth, and Charles C. Tinsley.

I have more characters made/planned to be made for the game, I just haven't gotten around to drawing them digitally yet. It's gonna be a whole thing. Anyways, who knows if I'll post more about this silly little thing more. But it was fun and brought me much joy, and I'm so excited to get this whole game put together!!!

Don't you just see a show and say "this story would make more sense and be way better if it was gay"?

Because that's how i feel about Code Geass, how can you write such a compliacted and deep relathionship and that they're so absolutely compatible with each other, that things were getting fixed the moment they reconcilied? Because they're able to change the world together? Because they know each other more than anyone else? Because even by the creator's words their relathionship can't be defined with just "friendship"? That they're the literal core of the show? They're foils and EACH OTHER SECOND HALF.

I am sorry but i prefer shipping whatever tf this two have going on than every girl that wants Lelouch so bad, specially considering how much the show/merch sexualizes them, if you want me to like an heterosexual relathionship, treat women like people and at least some chemistry from the man's part or i won't buy it

Something I find amusing about C.C. & Lelouch's relationship (spoiler: it's not amusing at all) As a premise, despite everything I'm going to say, CluClu is my otp and will ever be, so this is not intended as a hate shitpost, even if who doesn't like them as a couple is also absolutely welcome to give their take. Furthermore, the topic of my discourse is just their relationship regardless you see it as romantic or not.

Now, to get to the matter, let's take a look first at the other two girls. I've always felt that Lelouch relationship with Shirley and Kallen were somewhat unbalanced, since they clearly had deep, sincere feelings towards him, but as much as he reciprocated them (as friends or almost-lover it doesn't matter here), it's always been them to give the strongest evidence of these feelings. He obviously cared a lot about both, and if I'm being honest I think that Shirley could have been his first love, but he only shows how much important they are to him under dramatic circumstances or if solicited, in response to some showing of "affection" from their part.

In Shirley's case, when he kisses her back after her father's death, when he wipes off her memories, when he blushes because he was expecting her to kiss him and then, sadly, when she dies. As for Kallen, the strongest example that comes to mind to me is when he says "you have to live" after he lied so that she didn't sacrifice her life for him. (I won't take into consideration when he made a move on her, for the following reasons: because he was at his lowest point and was only looking for something to numb himself, sex was the same as drugs at that time, no less self-destructive, and definitely not an act of love; moreover, because he didn't show her any affection AT ALL—what he said to her was straight up insulting and degrading (I state this as a matter of fact, but I'm not judging him here, I could talk about this another time), not something I would proudly bring as a proof of his feelings for her. Lastly, because my point now it's not to demonstrate which girl he had ROMANTIC feelings for.)

Then we have C.C. The only one among the three whose feelings for him were ambiguous to say the least. For the most part of the story, she manipulated and used him for her purposes by encouraging him towards the path that was most convenient for her. She knew from the start the truth about his mother, she watched him struggle and never said a word because that could have made him falter in his determination. She was aware of Charles plans, which she had been complicit with in the past, and also that he had a geass, but never shared these informations with Lelouch, again because that could damage her aim. She was the person who more than anyone else saw how much he was suffering, and I believe she started to care about him even early on the story, but still this wasn't enough to stop her.

Obviously she was conflicted, she often looks torn between what she wants to gain from him and a genuine feeling that she can't allow herself to have. Also, we could argue that, had she really wanted to go all the way with her plan, she could have done so already by trying to kill him, in order to push him to accept the code as the nun did with her (we know from Charles and V.V. that's not necessary to wait for the geass to evolve in both eyes). But she never does this. Deep inside she's not as selfish as she pretends and would like to be, and at a closer look it's lecit to wonder if at some point her decision to stay at his side wasn't for her purposes anymore, even if that was what she kept telling herself—but this doesn't make her actions towards Lelouch any less wrong, any less selfish and manipulative.

As I stated before, among the three C.C. is the only one who, even if she truly had feelings for him, never prioritised them over herself. Even the scene where she comforts him after Euphemia's death is ambiguous, since those words and that gesture came from a person who was taking advantage of him all along.

What about Lelouch though? To me it's always been even shocking how open his feelings for her were (whether you intend them as romantic or not, again, it doesn't matter!). We know him as a person who always acts quite cold (even if he's not), but then we have "I don't know why snow is white, but I think it's beautiful", "If you're a witch then I shall become a warlock", "I promise you the smile you never had", even that snarky "I cannot be friends with a goddess, I've made a contract with the devil". He worries that she could get hurt or die even if he knows she's immortal. To not speak about how he allows himself to be vulnerable in front of her and just her.

So, to refer to the title, what I find "amusing" is how the girl he shows most openly his feelings for is exactly the one who apparently reciprocate less and, for a fact, the one whose reasons for being at his side have always been not totally genuine.

That could open another matter of analisys which I find interesting about Lelouch, namely how his relationship with Suzaku is an ulteriore example of how he clings the most to the people who somewhat reject him and don't give him any assurance that they won't leave him. From a psychological point of view, it seems in line with a young man who in his childhood has suffered from severe trauma bounded to loss and abandonment. It's common in these cases to have the strongest reactions to real or imaginary threats of abandonment, while unconsciously re-enacting the trauma by being emotionally driven towards those who show they could leave at any moment unless you make efforts to hold them back. But this could be the subject of another topic one day, a topic that I would probably call "why I think that Lelouch shows many symptoms of borderline personality disorder, despite the more popular fan-diagnosis that I feel are sometimes dued to a general misunderstanding of personality disorders". Well, that's it! I'm curious to read your opinions, if you like to share :)

I have got to learn to maybe just not look at The Nanny reddit and just stay in my happy bubble here on tumblr. You can't say anything remotely nice about C.C. on there without a bunch of asshats crawling out the woodwork practically singing The Mob Song and insisting she's evil incarnate. I do not have the energy to argue with these nitwits even though I'd very much love to crawl through my laptop screen and whack them over the head with my dvd boxset. They have no intention of listening anyway.

Writing more notes for my comic about Ashley and also jotting down some notes for some candyland themed animals and characters I can design for C.C’s universe when I get the time. I know I definitely want there to be like an “Evil Licorice Wizard” or something in her world, lol.

inside knightmare frames, the world narrows. they're stuffy, annoying things, as far as she's concerned —— uncomfortable to say the least, but effective. until they fall from the sky and crash to the ground and other inconvenient things, only good for breaking a fall, at that rate. she's gotten used to falling / gotten used to a lot of things, really / death and dying and drowning and burning and exploding, imploding, everything in between. none of it has any effect on her, really, other than the fleeting idea that oh, if only, but the thought is there and gone again, as ineffectual as a butterfly caught in a spiderweb.

still : climbing out of wreckage is time consuming and annoying. and also necessary. immortality does not come with an easy and convenient way of getting the body out of situations that could destroy it, if given time and patience, so she always has to do it the hard and arduous way, shoving aside bits of wreckage and filth, palms splitting on sharp metal, sighing to herself all the while —— but, look at that, amusement has arrived in the form of a KNIGHTLY MAN / well, not quite a man, but not quite a boy, either. always carrying himself with straight shoulders and a halfway stern expression, ready to rescue at any time, and there's that look on his face : that expectant one, that furrow to his brow, an outstretched hand.

it threatens at being funny and she smiles humorlessly, ignoring his offer as she picks across the wreckage. something in her body hurts, maybe it's that her leg is in a strange position, but oh well. it's nothing that won't be fixed in, hmm, a few minutes or so. ❝ i can take care of myself, you know, ❞ she says lightly, glancing down at her leg with intense disinterest for the blood and weird positioning and lack of ability to bear weight on it and whatnot. ❝ go on, now, shoo, ❞ she waves him off, bored but not that bored.

a sigh, as if pulled from @spirestar's soul, a shake of his head. ❝ just take my arm, at the least, ❞ so persistent !! she supposes that knights in fairy tales are always quite persistent / how else would they ever get the girl, after all?

she glances at him, head tilting, hair falling around her / his arm is still outstretched because he's deeply predictable, almost laughably so. he's such a bleeding heart, always willing and ready to throw anything and everything aside to play at being the hero, even if he doesn't see it that way. conviction and determination have little effect on her unless it has anything at all to do with her own goal, passion and drive lost on her entirely if it doesn't suit her needs. not a one of kururugi suzaku's traits moves her, stirs her, brings her long dead heart to motion ; but that's hardly something she can expect of him.

❝ you should learn when to take no for an answer, ❞ delivered with a sigh, a sway of her head, her leg moving slightly and hurting. hurt is always so far off, distant, remote. still : her hand settles in the crook of his elbow ; a curiosity moreso than anything else / she reaches up to gather heavy hair in her free hand, lifting it from the back of her neck, twisting it / strands falling heavy. ❝ some people don't want to be helped. ❞ like you, she doesn't say aloud / the implication heavy in her tone / in the way her gaze settles only to move away once more.

Inside Out AU

Inside Out has been on my mind lately, and I thought to myself, why not do an Inside Out AU featuring Fluffy Sephiroth from my Domestic AU? I think this makes sense as within the Domestic AU, Sephiroth is not only exploring fatherhood as a major faucet of his life but also exploring new parts of himself that he never had the chance to do when he was Shinra's ultimate weapon. So for this, it's a great thing that his emotions are prepared to navigate him in this new life!

So, here's an introduction to Sephiroth's emotions!

Joy: Sephiroth's joy represents the happiness he feels, particularly from his family and the happiness he gets from doing what he loves. Joy is incredibly protective of Sephiroth's happiness since he didn't get very much (honestly, hardly anything) during his time in SOLDIER, which can lead to her making rather questionable decisions and go out of line against the other emotions. Joy always tries to make the best out of anything, even during Sephiroth's darkest moments.

Anger: Sephiroth's anger manages his sense of justice (which is carefully watched by other emotions so it doesn't become vengeance). He also shares the disciplinary father role with Pride and his protective instincts with Fear. You can always expect anger to step up to the console whenever Sephiroth's family is threatened in some way, old enemies making themselves known to him, or the triplets being wild and overbearing. Sometimes Anger goes overboard, but thankfully, he's usually tempered by Sephiroth's Joy and/or Love.

Sadness: Sephiroth's sadness helps him empathize/sympathize with others and also reflects on his past. This is incredibly important for Sephiroth as he had little opportunities to be vulnerable before his time with Domestic Darling. Sadness also ensures that Sephiroth stays grounded and true to himself. Once he was a weapon, but now, he's a free man and a loving father. Also, she is necessary to remind Sephiroth to make the most of the good moments by reminding him of what he didn't have before.

Fear: Sephiroth's fear is responsible for his survival instincts and vigilance. He makes sure that Sephiroth is always aware of the ways to protect himself, his family and their peace. If Sephiroth overhears a conversation between villagers about Shinra sending a survey team to the nearby reactor, fear is immediately hitting a button on the control panel to make Sephiroth look around and order the children to get going on their way home. Fear is usually right in knowing what's best for Sephiroth's safety: because you could never know when Shinra will raid the village looking for two of their First Class SOLDIERS or one of the kids opening a door to see the turks before them.

He keeps Sephiroth's anger in check (which may or may not fail) whenever his territorial or protective tendencies get provoked, often reminding him of what could happen if he goes too far.

Disgust: Sephiroth's disgust is responsible for filtering anything that could threaten Sephiroth's collected exterior and also, along with Pride, helps Sephiroth maintain his gracefulness. If his triplet boys are causing total messes in their rooms or the kitchen, you can always expect Disgust to know what exactly needs to be cleaned and how, all while making Sephiroth express disdain for it. She also tries to prevent from Sephiroth from engaging in antics that are far beneath him.

Pride: The purpose of Sephiroth's pride is that he is proud of his accomplishments and achievements, whether they are past and present. He keeps sadness in check to ensure that Sephiroth doesn't dwell too much on the past and doesn't have low self-esteem.

A good way to describe his outfit is to imagine Sephiroth's military ball outfit. He also makes sure Sephiroth is a stern but fair teacher to his children and also shares the protector of the family role with anger. He often guides Sephiroth's actions during sparring times or helps anger when Sephiroth is fighting a threat (with some guidance from fear.)

Love: The last but not least. Sephiroth's Love was once his weakest emotion, starting off as a fragile and sickly girl who was mostly in Joy's shadow, but as Sephiroth bonded more and more with Domestic Darling, she became stronger. Now, as a tall and powerful woman, perhaps one can argue in that she is the lead emotion in Sephiroth's mind. After all, he only ran away with Darling in the first place out of love for her.

Love handles Sephiroth's connection to darling and his children, nurturing those connections at any opportunity. She guides every move of Sephiroth during intimate moments with darling as well, though other emotions certainly try to get in on it as well at times! 😂

An important difference from Joy is that Love is more tender and reserved, but still every bit of confident and strong.

I have the entire thing in pdf form now. The whole fic series, and of course I added one of your drawings of Joan at the front. The whole thing ended up being a total of 368 pages and I'm printing out the first signature right now. I'm so excited!!!! (This is so surreal honestly. I'm surprised how fast I was able to get it all in there.)
