Actually, shout out to all of us who are still on our c!techno and c!philza hater grind. I just read up on some old meta and my resolve to give them the most awful time (so they can get character development for the better) in my fanfic has been renewed

Why has Technoblade never tried to kill ctommy like, you could argue that he has with his whole 'if you want to be a hero than die like one' speech. But lets bfr if he actually wanted him dead or actually tried to kill him Tommy would haave been long gone so why didn't he? And with Tommy also being an orphan (depending on your au) wouldn't that also add onto reasons for Techno to kill him? I don't know I've just been thinking of them, but like Technos had so many chances to kill him but never did.

I love the scene in the middle Doomsday where c!Techno returns Do Not Read to c!Ranboo, because it so clearly demonstrate that c!Techno already likes c!Ranboo, and is just generally a great example of how c!Techno in general tends towards helping others so long as they haven't done anything to hurt him (and like. Sometimes even when they have. bc like. c!Ranboo was kinda involved in the Butcher Army)

It's the middle of an active battle field, like twenty people all trying to kill c!Techno, and yet the moment he sees c!Ranboo he stops and says "Ranboo! Ranboo! You're alright!" And immediately returns the book c!Ranboo is asking for, before following up with "get out of here, I don't have anything against you. Just flee in the battle, no one will no." And c!Philza also chimes in to assure c!Ranboo that no one will see them and that they'll be alright, and it's just so— adskdhafjstjsj

And- and also- and also, a few minutes later, you can hear c!Quackity in the background and he asks someone if they've seen his book, "Do Not Read" because he still has a grudge on c!Ranboo and he still wants to take them down, so he's trying to get the book back. (Because the whole reason c!Techno even has it was because he happened to pick it up when c!Quackity dropped it)

Also. When c!Techno sees c!Ranboo again later in the fight, he's kinda exasperated that they're still there but stops to ask them if they're alright again. (He also completely misses how utterly miserable c!Ranboo is when they say "same as yesterday", which I think is hilarious.)

If c!Techno was a woman his character would straight up not be as apologized for or popular. Also it's fun to see how many people see female oppression as a fun little quirky thing. Add the weird transmisogyny and you've got a shitload of nope!

(You and Techno used to be best friends until he developed a crush on you now suddenly 10 years have passed and all you want is a glimpse of him)

Traveling to Philza’s place for your monthly visit was a nice time to reflect, maybe to do something different, maybe don’t travel through the ocean with nothing but your backpack until you come across a shipwreck to make a boat. Yeah, reflecting. Visiting Philza gave you a sense of peace, hearing his stories, seeing he’s doing alright after everything, seeing it’s possible to move on from things you thought would be forever. He gives you hope that one day you might move on from your own problems, like being alone 24/7, traveling to pass the time, and having this stupid “crush” on Technoblade. When you were pre-teens he all of a sudden stopped paying attention to you and all you could do was accept it, you left him in the dust on your horse, sent away to live with your aunt that was hundreds of miles away. You only started visiting Phil when you heard about the town being blown up, you wanted to make sure he was ok. He was like family to you, so one year ago you decided to make the trip to see him and now you go once a month to catch up. When you first went the first thing you asked him was, “Is Techno ok?” He smiled and shook his head softly, “Y/n, you know him…” he walked to the table you were sitting at with two mugs of tea in his hands, “Technoblade never dies.” You smiled with him, “I don’t know him now but yes. He never dies.” He pressed his lips together at your comment, putting one of the mugs in front of you. You thanked him, and picked it up to warm your hands, “Where is he, if you don’t mind me asking?” Phil looked at you with pity written all over his face, “I don’t mind and remember that, but darling I’m going to be honest with you.” He sighed looking down at his mug, “I haven’t seen him in weeks, he rarely speaks to me anymore…” Your eyes widened, you felt a rush of coldness washed over you. You became cold to the touch even with the hot cup in your hands, “I take that back actually,” You looked up from the mug, ready to take anything he had of Techno, “He checks on me from time to time, sometimes even spends the night but he walks around like I’m not there.” Your eyes soften at his words, sorry for what’s happened between them. You looked at his free hand, taking it into yours and squeezing it, “I’m sure he has his reasons.” He nods, flashing a quick smile. You were worried but you “knew” Techno and he would never neglect someone or something unless he had a reason to but you still questioned it when it came between you and him.

You were still miles away from Philza’s house, and wondering if you might have taken a wrong turn somewhere. You slow your horse down and take a look at your map, glancing in all directions trying to see anything familiar, then you see a landmark that’s on the map. You exhale, the anxiety dissipating as you put the map back into your bag. You snap the reins to walk again when you see a shadow on the ground, a shadow that could only be made if it was in the air. You have your horse come to a complete stop, sliding off and looking at the shadow then up into the sky. A bird was flying high in the sky, making circles around you. You whistle, bringing it down to you. The bird lands and you notice it was a crow! All you could think were negative thoughts, hoping to God that Phil was okay. You pull some seeds out of your side bag, pouring some on the ground for the crow. The crow hops over and sets a scroll down before pecking at the pile of seeds. You pick the scroll up, standing to look at it better.

My dearest Y/n, you’re probably worried that something’s happened to me but I couldn’t be better, I just wanted to give you a heads up that I’ll be having company over while you're on your way. I don’t know how far you are but I hope you aren’t too far. I would like you to see them before they have to go, Love Phil.

You smile down at the lovely note, thinking that Tommy might have been there but you have talked to him before at Phil’s house so who could it be. You ponder on it for quite a moment before your eyes widen and your jaw drops.

It could be Techno, you thought.

You roll the scroll back up and put it in your bag, seeing the wonderful crow ate all the seeds up, you chuckle and decide to give him more just out of likeness of the note. You get up on your horse, snapping the reins one last time before setting off to Phil’s house, which wasn’t more than a few miles away.

You see Phil’s house appear in the distance, grinning and kicking at your horse to go faster for this last stretch. All you could think about was possibly seeing Techno, finally locking eyes with him after all these years. You slow your horse down as you approach his house, hopping off before he even comes to a complete stop. You shake dust out of your hair and pat yourself down before knocking on the door. You knock on the door and wait for someone to open it for you. You turn around to your horse that’s neighing at you from behind, you try your best to shush him but he decides to be stubborn after a long and hard ride. You wave him off as the door clicks, you whip your head around to meet Tommy, “Tommy!” You yell, “Ay!” Tommy yells back pointing finger guns at you. You smile at him, raising your arms up to hug him. Laughing as he picks you up and spins you around in the house. Closing the door as he sets you down, “Come on, I want you to see someone.” He says, too fast for you to understand but grabs your hand just as quickly as he spoke pulling you towards the kitchen. Light-headed from the laughing and spinning you stumble behind him, trying to not fall to the ground. He slows down, walking into the kitchen. You keep your hand in his, waiting to see the one and only Techno but when you round the corner you’re met with a transparent figure, almost shiny with the sun beaming through it. You narrow your eyes as it turns around, “Guess you weren’t expecting me?” It says, you’re left speechless, mostly trying not to cry. It was Wilbur. Phil told you about the war, when Wil told him to kill him. Holding back tears, you cover your mouth, “Wil?” You knew it was him but you had to make sure. He nods, making you whimper. You walk up to him knowing you would go right through but you wanted to be close. You breathe out as you look at his face, so dark and light. You raise your hands, roaming the air where his face would be but all you could feel was freezing air. He brings his hands to your wrists, marking them with cold rings. You chuckle softly as tears fall from your face, trying to smile but wince at the every-longing want of his hands in yours. He was such a big inspiration of yours but when you heard he had turned evil it was hard to think of him highly. But then, you heard of his death and it shattered you. When you were little, he was always there for you, especially when Techno started to grow distinct, he was there. You missed him so much but now seeing him, his presence, you finally had closure.

You take a deep breath in and let it out, keeping your eyes on him as you step away. Walking backwards to Tommy, you look at Wilbur one last time as he waves at you. You give him a small wave back before he dissipates into thin air. You turn around to bury your face into Tommy's chest, he hugs you back with watery eyes. You could hear him sniffling, you chuckle, “It’s ok Tommy, he’s in a better place now.” He rubs his eyes and scoffs, “What do you mean, I know that, why wouldn’t I know that. I mean look at me.” You remove your face from his chest, as you look up at him, “I know you needed that as much as I did.” He scoffs again, “No I didn’t, I was perfectly fine without him.” You laugh, making him laugh too, as he shakily breathes in and out, “Oh, how I missed him.” You wipe tears off your face, “Me too Tommy, me too.”

You and Tommy were sitting at the kitchen table laughing when the both of you hear the side door open and loud boots fill the house as they stomp off whatever was on them. You look at Tommy with confusion but all he does is smile, making you even more confused. A loud nauseated voice booms through the hallway, “Hey Phil there’s a random horse eating snow in the front, it has a bunch of stuff on it too-” The giant stops in his tract, this time very real. When he sees you, he pulls his mask down from his face, “Y/n?” You stand up, your eyes not believing it, your mind not believing it, but your heart does. Your heart believes it’s really him, it’s really Technoblade. You clear your throat, not sure what to say, “Uh- hey-” You were always speechless around him, never knowing what to say, how to say it. He takes a step closer as he pulls his gloves off, “Uh…” He couldn’t speak either, his eyes were roaming your body, he wanted them to do all the talking. You and Techno stand there in place just looking at each other for a good moment.

Tommy stands up, making sure to make as much noise as possible, “Hey big guy, how was work-” Techno leans down to Tommy ear’s, “Get out.” Tommy mouths ok and walks off to the front door, saluting at you. You watched him as he walked and saluted back at him. You put your gaze back on Techno noticing he was a little closer than before. You don’t think you can hold it in anymore but with it being 10 years, you didn’t know if he felt the same way. You watch him as he stops just a couple feet away from you, your breathing becomes heavy, heat rushes to your cheeks. You open your mouth to speak but nothing except a chuckle comes out, he watches you look at the ground and to the side looking out the window. Every inch of you is on his mind, he takes his hand and brings it to your chin to draw your attention back to him. You look at him with doe eyes, thinking about all the times he looked at you with those same charming eyes. You pull away though not wanting to get too close, not wanting to feel the same urge you felt when you were just a kid. You look away towards the window for a second but he pulls you back, now arm around your waist and hand on your chin, keeping your eyes on him.

You find it hard to not look at him with your faces only inches apart, his long pink hair falling over his shoulder and into his face. You cave in finally, your eyes traveling his face for it has been too long since you’ve seen him, “Techno…” You breathe out, his breathing becoming just as heavy as yours. You find the back of his neck with one hand and the back of his shoulder with the other. Gripping at his shirt, he looks down at your lips, “Why did I wait so long?” Your heart flutters at his words as they roll off his lips and onto your own. You mouth I don’t know, giving him a weak smile. His lips part as he moves his hand from your chin to your cheek, running it along once before diving into a deep kiss. You took a breath before his lips crashed down on yours, interlocking your fingers in his hair. He pushes you against the table a little rough, “Sorry.” he says in between a kiss. You couldn’t care less about being rammed into a table but you loved that he cared for you, “It’s ok.” You whisper, keeping the kiss going and placing your hands on the table to brace yourself. He slowly snakes his tongue into your mouth as he finds your hands and intertwines them with his. You whimper at the feeling of his tongue roaming your mouth, you grip his hands tight, making him moan. He continues to kiss you like it was the last time you were ever going to see each other, touch each other. But he wasn’t going to let that happen, he wasn’t going to pull himself away from you ever again. He wanted you more than ever before, finally having you in his arms.

You slowly start to pull away but Techno wants one more long kiss before accepting your movement, resting his head on your shoulder. He needed that break as much as you did, his breath raspy and deep on your neck. You wrap your arms around him, as he does the same. You look up to the ceiling with tears in your eyes, happy tears. Happy that you finally get to express your loving feelings to this hunk of stoicness. He glides his touch from your waist to the back of your legs, picking you up and putting you on the table with no effort. You gasp when he picks you up, looking deep into his eyes to find love and affection. He pulls you as close as possible, making you wrap your arms and legs around him. You rest your forehead on his, smiling and giggling. He couldn’t help but do the same. Your smiles always gave him warmth, from his ear tips to his toes. He always liked that about you and it has never changed, even after all these years his memory of you has never faded. He leans back so he can see you better, scanning for any new details.

He cups your cheeks and rubs his thumbs on your skin. He’s hot to the touch, making you want to melt in his arms. A single tear falls from your eye, he’s quick to gently wipe it away, kissing where the droplet was then kissing your forehead. He looks down at you, taking an impossible step towards you, “I’ve loved you for too long, to give up,” He pauses and glances at your lips, “I’ll make it my life’s mission to never let you go…again.” Your breath hitches, you couldn’t believe he was saying this to you, finally. You let out a breath with a big smile and your head vigorously nodding at his remark. He smiles back with a sigh of relief escaping from his lips. He picks you up and spins you around for a moment then plants you on your feet. Your arms still wrapped around his neck, you give him a couple of nice soft pecks on his chapped lips. You were forever happy to have him by your side now, even if he had to work. The both of you hear the side door open, “Techno! I need your help with the hay bales!” Philza’s voice rang through the house before you both heard the door close and footsteps went down the outside stairs. You look up at him and pout. His eyes narrow down the hall towards the side door, “He can wait.” Before you know it you're off up the stairs to the spare bedroom Techno sleeps in, making sure to lock the door behind him.

Here are some of my SBI hybrid(?) headcanons since I have a special love for these kinds of headcanons:

C! Technoblade: A Piglin hybrid with absolute control of his hybrid traits. Basically, he can control his human traits to piglin traits ratio. His original form basically looks like a full Piglin but his preferred form when he was young was a mostly human form with subtle piglin traits. This was because he grew up with Phil and Wilbur(then eventually Tommy) who looked mostly human besides a few hybrid traits. His preferred form when fighting as he earned the title The Blood God was either his full piglin form/his original form or mostly human with very prominent piglin features(like full tusks, piglin ears, bright red eyes, and pink-tinted skin). This is because he's stronger in this form, he has better senses, and his skin is tougher. His casual form is usually most human with pointed ears, tanned skin, smaller tusks than his fighting form, and red or very warm brown eyes.

C! Philza: He mostly just has wings and feathers behind his ears and scattered around his face(especially his cheeks) and body(mostly his hands). However, whenever he's angry or fighting, his hands turn black(with more feathers) and he has sharper nails/claws and his eyes glow gold with black scleras. It makes him look more intimidating and he can use his claws to tear through skin in fights. Also, his vision is naturally very sharp :]

C! Wilbur: I was kinda stuck between making him human, a sea hybrid of some kind, or an avian like Phil, but I decided that an avian would make the most sense since he's biologically Phil's son in canon. Also, just as a side note, only the hybrid type typically gets passed down to the children, meaning that although Phil(and also Kristin) have black/crow wings, Wilbur could have wings from a different species of bird. That being said, I feel like owl wings would fit Wilbur pretty well. I'm still figuring out exactly what species, but his wings are different shades of brown with dark speckles. He has feathers in similar places as Phil but they aren't as visible and he doesn't have claws/can't shift to have claws like Phil can. However, his eyes can change to glow gold with black scleras. It's whenever he's experiencing strong emotions in general like excitement or anger, not just strong negative emotions. I also kinda want to include the detail that little tufts of feathers grow in his hair :>

C! Tommy: For Tommy, I seriously debated with myself if he should be human, an avian, or a demon post-revival. However, after reading The Dreamwalker by Hydre, I have fell in love with the headcanon that Tommy is a shapeshifter :D That way, there's a little bit of all the headcanons I was trying to decide between. So Tommy was born a shapeshifter but his default form is an avian. His wings are red with white tips and speckles of gold throughout them. He has feathers behind his ears but nowhere else unlike Phil and Wilbur. The other forms he really likes are a full blond raccoon form, a raccoon hybrid form, a full bird form(probably a red cardinal or smth) and forms that take the hybrid traits of his friends(like Ranboo's tail, horns, and white/black freckles or Tubbo's goat ears and horns). He subconsciously adds the traits of people he loves to his form and it's his way of showing someone he trusts and cares about them. Although he's a shapeshifter, if he loses or injures a body part, he can not shapeshift to fix it. For example, Dream seriously injured his wings during exile but he can't shift them to fix them. Everytime he shifts away wings, they will come back in the state they were last in and injuries can only heal if they are physically out. He can't shift away scars in his human or avian forms because he got the scars in his human or avian forms and his base/original form is his avian one so scars stay in that form. Also, his other body parts get converted to fit the anatomy of other animals, meaning that his arms shift into wings when he turns into a bird since his arms align with the placement of bird wings better than the wings on his back. Injuries also shift between forms unless the body part is just shifted away(like his avian wings or a tail) instead of converted so if Tommy gets a wound on his arm, it will stay on the corresponding wing when he turns into a bird. He can add or remove clothes to his form but he can only take off clothes that are separate from his actual body and wasn't shifted on just so he can't make an infinite amount of clothes. If he shifts out of clothes from his human form when he turns into an animal, he'll automatically have those clothes back on no matter what and he won't be able to add clothes that he shifted on himself until he takes those off(and technically, clothes he shifts on are stuck on his body since they are an extension/a part of his body, don't think about it too much though). I'm still figuring out more of the logistics of shapeshifting but that's what I have so far and hopefully it makes sense. Also, again, credits to The Dreamwalker by Hydre for the idea and a good amount of the shapeshifter logic :)

Those are my headcanons for SBI's forms! That took longer than expected but it was fun :D

i am going to need to read the dream smp wiki + transcripts for this to work out the way i want to but, au i am working on rn in which in one hand i rewrite the dsmp story after c!tommy's resurrection (even if it focuses entirely on what happens 20 years later after dreamxd is defeated and everyone is free), and in the other i write a comedy/drama urban horror/fantasy like centuries after it set in modern times inspired by the other tommyinnit minecraft videos.

Anyway, the idea i have is that in the modern day is that c!techno and ghostbur are one of the few characters from the dsmp that are still alive. ghostbur is the angel of death after being released from limbo (a thing that does happen in the dsmp side of the story, yes the implications of him being the angel of death are true.) and c!techno is an immortal but in the "he cannot die from anything but being killed" sort of way and still largely same as he was, kind of miserable with how much the world has changed.

i have yet to figure out the actual story events but, I am just thinking of them, mostly c!techno, having to befriend these completely wild and off versions of his pseudo-family. c!wilbur just escaped from a cult he was in for 3 years. c!philza does not trust him and is focusing on c!wilbur. And c!tommy is confident in himself and does not take anyone's shit but is the only one that actually wants to be his friends, frankly he would have already escaped the whole situation if it wasn't for Ghostbur repeated attempts at convincing him to give this a shot at least. (<- i am going to put him into the most evil labyrinths and deranged situations ever seen)

Hi sorry this took so long I did literally all of the bingo stuff in one night and then I was exhausted and had to take a break that lasted longer than I intended.

^When I say cDream got done dirty by the fans I mean the inniters specifically. Look at him. Look at how interesting and terrible and wonderful he is. Look at all his maladaptive coping mechanisms. Why the fuck does he look like that? Idk but its cool as fuck and I'm keeping him forever. He gets the greatest honor I'll ever bestow- a place on my mental shelf where all my favorite characters rest.

^Quite frankly the fact that I've turned Sam into a woobie is entirely my fault and I take full responsibility. I acknowledge he's a terrible person your honor. I just also acknowledge that every time I see him I need to bite down and shake him like a chew toy. This will inevitably come back to haunt me I'm sure.

^Punz is fun in that unlike the other two, I feel no need to justify their crimes Ever. I feel no need to explain to anyone that they're Nuanced and that their actions come from a specific place. I think Punz can do anything they want actually, and in fact should murder those teenagers for fun and profit. Punz doesn't need the nuance to be enjoyable. If their response to someone pissing them off is Direct Brutal Murder, then I think its Their Right As A Punz To Do So.

Yes they do have all that nuance and interesting motives and have a long, storied narrative, but I've never felt so defensive about them as I have Dream and Sam. It makes them very refreshing in a way.

^I probably should have put "is a horrible person" for XD. Whoops. But listen, they're fun in that you can shake em around in a plastic bag and they make the best crinkly sounds. They have so much potential as a character and so many different things you can do with them, especially if you get super creative about it. By themselves though they tend to be a bit of a nothingburger? I honestly don't think XD is that fun or interesting if they aren't focused around at least one other person, at least in their canon state. Part of what makes XD good is how he affects other people, not his own personal thoughts and feelings on any matter.

There's a lot of potential to change that of course, I've read some interesting fanfics and AU's where XD has been fleshed out and written some myself, but I think its really telling that one of the biggest mysteries of XD is why he has Dream's Face and not his own.

^Technoblade is one of those Very Good No Notes sort of person. I really should have said I don't have much to say about him, but that felt so negative when I think nothing but positive things about him? Its just, anything I could possibly think to say has likely already been said for me. He's a good, genuine character. His flaws are comprehensible (the man's anxiety and impulsive wrath tends to get him into trouble) but at the same time his sincerity and acts of kindness and humanity makes him so likeable that you're delighted to root for him even when he's doing things you may not agree with. He's the Dream who had a friend who was allowed to be openly loyal to him, the Dream that managed to find a group of people that have his back. Its kind of bittersweet for me almost.

Honestly I almost kind of wish he was more problematic just so I could be more mentally ill about him? Like once a character stops being overtly flawed and suffering from their flaws it gets hard for me to be invested. Maybe I just need to read a fic about him fucking up? Actually yeah I'm going to go do that, where's a fic about post-prison where he regrets leaving Dream out in the cold and its rivals hurt/comfort all the way.

^ccDream makes me smile. Thats it thats the post. If it had been anyone else piloting cDream I probably wouldn't have been in this fandom. I am Delighted. I am Thriving. I am In My Lane.

listen, its pure vibes, i dont really have an explanation for it. i liked him just generally for a while, but i watched a video where he talked about american gun control and it just came off super uck to me. like, a lot of british lefties have this weird thing where they will assume americans are all stupid just for kicks when we've actually been indoctrinated to think the way we do. i guess i just dont like seeing brits have political takes that are just pure "america needs to get its shit together" cause yeah bro we know, focus on whatever the fuck is up with ur government please. I feel like if i talked politics with wilbur soot he would be condescending as shit and basically explain to me what socialism is or whatever when its like, dude,, please. british lefties think they know more than the average young american, which is most of the time not true, or not something to insult someone over. and its more than that, i never get idolization of people, like, online people. the closest ive come to it was technoblade maybe? gtws is pretty awesome too, bbh is low level idolization maybe. so it weirds me out when people are just in awe over him, makes my instincts go wild. im really not accusing him of anything, i know this is just the silly brain reacting silly. it just weirds me out. his fans do not know him, nobody's fans know the person, and yet they act like they do, and like he's gods gift to leftism and queerness when he is,, a cishet maybe-aro upperclass man from britain. nothing against him really.

oh, and his fans tick me off because theyre ALWAYS inserting him into things and just. listen, i dont like having to scroll through tons of wilbur fics in the qsmp tag when im just trying to get to some badboyhalo or etoiles centric fics. the man has been on the qsmp for like less than a week of playtime and he's the fourth most tagged character on the qsmp ao3 tag.

not to mention he gets dragged into other plots like "what if this actually happened to wilbur!" or "yeah but what if wilbur was there!" or my most hated "cant wait till this character meets wilbur because i cannot enjoy this media (which is about finding and enjoying a bunch of ccs) if it doesnt have my guy in it!" like i get it, you have a hyperfix or a special interest, ive been there, but maybe then go watch stuff he's actually in, instead of forcing him into a plot he really isnt that big a part of anymore.

people also praised his dsmp writing when it was,, average at best. honestly i think bbh's and the eggpire's writing did way more for the dsmp because they actually tried to include other people in the plot as much as possible, instead of just writing for you and a few of your friends. imo, c!wilbur was an ok character, like, nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary for me. utah is death, ok buddy got it, wow, insane. yeah yeah we've all been to the soul sucking pit of utah, haha i get it. << this is just pure salt ignore that lmao

oh and lovejoy didnt fuckin invent political indie rock, people need to get over themselves on that one.

so yeah, its just a thing of, i cant really bring myself to like him. the brain goes wonky when he's around. kinda wish i didnt like, get angry when he's on screen but idk i cant really stop myself. nothing againstt you if you like him, ill usually tag anyy wilbur neg with #wilbur crit so if you wanna mute that tag. i dont post it too often tho.
