How would the atompunk trio react if the protags of their games were switched around. Like idk, put Chell in Rapture and the Courier(however you designed them) in Aperture and Jack in the New Vegas Strip. You can decide how the protags are swapped around though

oh ho ho you have no idea how long ive been planning the larger universe this au in my head is set in. so let's tune into the madness together, shall we?

Mr. House meets Jack

Mr. House was not expecting a jumpy, uncoordinated young adult to stumble his way into the Lucky 38, but Victor has nothing but good things to say about the kid so he can't be bad. Jack follows order well, which is both a blessing and a curse Mr. House finds out, so he works out a way to get Victor to keep reminding Jack of what he needs to do and it's smooth sailing from there. Would consider working out a deal with the Followers of the Apocalypse to see what is up with Jack after the Hoover Dam battle.

Mr. House meets Chell

Mr. House gets along with Chell quite well. Chell is efficient and creative with completing missions. And she's willing to be paid in only information which cuts down on costs by a lot. He does find that gun of hers rather intriguing, which would turn into a whole cat and mouse of him trying to get the portal gun from her to examine and her not giving him the gun. Chaos ensues.

Cave Johnson meets the Courier

Cave Johnson wouldn't realize that the various people he keeps testing are all the same Courier. But hey, when you're dealing with an anomaly that keeps reincarnating lets you vivisect them, you tend not to ask too many questions (except for why do you keep coming back after you fall into the corrosive water). Certainly keeps the Courier around later on, hoping to figure what keeps them regenerating their body while keeping their memories intact (in his quest to live forever). Sadly, he doesn't figure it out in time. The Courier would then explore the Aperture labs until who knows when. Although thanks to the fact that they can sorta never die (sure their body dies but their memories dont think kinda like a timelord) then they would remember exactly who Caroline was when interacting with GLaDOS. Oh and the angst of finding all the old lab stuff and Cave Johnson's voice logs again at the Portal 2 timeline point of the game that would actually be heartbreaking.

Cave Johnson meets Jack

Cave Johnson loves Jack. Everyone loves Jack! Who wouldn't love Jack? Cave Johnson would be sure to let everyone know that no one gives Jack orders except for him and Caroline. Would treat Jack like the son he never had and also give him cocaine for his anxiety (for science). Would also want to vivisect Jack to figure out how he keeps lighting things like the mantis men on fire. Wasn't seriously considering making combustible lemons until he saw Jack could light things on fire and decided that the same principles could be applied to lemons too.

Andrew Ryan meets the Courier

Andrew Ryan actually gets to interact with only one Courier thanks to the Vita-Chambers. And as luck would have it, he gets to interact with Suzie Fromme (my favorite courier and the one I always think of when I think of couriers). And he would think Suzie is weird and unhinged and way too powerful but not in a cool way but in a way that scares him (you modded a Bethesda protag of course she breaks reality). But since she's an agent of chaos that only wants to help people he would strike a tentative deal with her to take Atlas down. She would agree for the low price of "a room in the prettiest building in Rapture" which according to her is in Fort Frolic(?) which with all the delirious denizens dropping like drones means that there probably is an open room. Did I mention Suzie has the Black Widow perk? Upon finding out how she got rid of Atlas, Andrew Ryan decides that she is not to be trifled with at all and can be Sander Cohen's problem until the city collapses.

Andrew Ryan meets Chell

Andrew Ryan would probably love and hate Chell. Love because she dispatches enemies with efficiency and doesn't listen to Atlas but also doesn't listen to him. Eventually determines that she just wants to go to the surface and leave forever and after doing a couple of missions for him, lets her. Doesn't like that she's playing all sides trying to find the fastest way to leave, but she just wants to always come put on top. Which she does. Would weaponize her bond with Tenenbaum in a last ditch attempt to get her to do what he wants.

The Lemon Legacy: Generation 1, Chapter 98 - Baby Daze Part 3

Xander wants to go for a jog and get some fresh air, and he figures Gemma could use some too. That, and it means Ophelia can work on grinding out lyrics, which takes way too damn long. And sometimes your progress just disappears? Maybe the Watcher will download a mod to fix that.

Maybe Xander's recent health kick has been inspired by the kiddo strapped to his back. He knows his parents were older when they had him, but he wants to make sure he's around for a long time for his little girl. Gemma's happy to tag along, though she eventually konks out.

Ophelia's had more coffee in the past week than she's had in her entire life combined. She's exhausted, but she keeps pushing, just like she always does. She wants to provide the best possible future for her daughter, and royalties from her own original music will help a lot.

When Xander comes back and takes Gemma out of her carrier and sits her on the ground, she's not exactly subtle in her dissatisfaction. Do I sense a high-maintenance trait in her future?

Have you guys heard of the Mariko Aoki phenomenon? I swear, Xander has the same effect on babies that Barnes and Noble does on people. I feel like he always gets the dirty diapers!

Xander: Don't give me that innocent look. That smell's not coming from me so it has to be you.

After changing her diaper, Xander leaves her alone to play for a moment to take care of his own bladder need and misses her next milestone. Gemma can babble now!

Splish splash, Gemma's first bath!

Gemma says rise and grind 💪 No days off! She's flexible enough to stick her toe in her mouth.

Xander's on wakeup duty today.

Xander: Good morning, princess. Mommy's out in the backyard. Why don't we go keep her company?

Xander: Lemon Cake, you've barely taken a break the past few days. Why don't I take care of the gardening today?

Ophelia: Thanks, babe. Sorry, I'm meeting up with Drew later to go over the new song and I want it to be perfect.

Xander: I get it. Just don't burn yourself out.

As much as Ophelia loves her career as a musician, she adores being a mom. Watching Gemma learn something new every day with a smile on her face is so heartwarming. She loves spending time with her girl. No song she ever writes is going to be as wonderful as she is.

During lunch, Xander gives peek-a-boo another try.

Xander: gasp Where's Daddy?

Ophelia: Stop, she always cries when we try peek-a-boo!

Xander ignores her and reveals himself with a 'boo!' to Gemma, who surprisingly likes it this time. She almost falls over from giggling!

Ophelia: Okay, I stand corrected.

Xander: I knew I could make her laugh!

Ophelia: Watcher, are you still upset you missed the first laugh?

Xander: No, I just want Gemma to know who the funny one in this relationship is.

Ophelia: Daddy's silly, isn't he, Gem?

Gemma: :)

Xander: Y'know, now that she can sit up, we can finally put her in the high chair and try giving her some actual food.

Ophelia: Ooooh, let me feed her something before I leave.

Xander: …I don't like that look on your face. What are you up to?

Ophelia: Nothing… 😇

Look at Gemma, so trusting of her momma.

Ophelia: My gran fed this to me when I was your age. I can't resist…

Ophelia spoons up some of the smashed lemon and feeds it to Gemma.

Ophelia: What do you think, nooboo?

Ophelia tries to feed her more but at this point we've established Gemma doesn't exactly hide her feelings. She pushes the spoon away before it reaches her mouth. That stuff was yucky!

Ophelia: Yeah, I don't know what I was expecting. Sorry, Gem. Okay, Mommy has to go meet Pibs. I'm sorry I played a mean joke on you, sweetie. Are you mad at Mommy?

Gemma: Buh.

Ophelia: Guess I can't blame you.

Xander: That wasn't very nice of Mommy, now was it? Don't worry, I've got something I know you'll like.

Xander spoons up some ice cream and waves the spoon around, making airplane noises as he does so.

Xander: Open wide! Here comes the airplane!

Gemma complies.

Xander: Was that yummy?

Gemma: :D

Xander: You deserved a treat for being a good sport for Mommy's little lemon prank. That's enough food for now. Want to be Daddy's gym buddy?

Xander's workout session is a little… painful, but they say pain is gain! I don't think falling on your face is the kind of pain they were talking about, dude. Gemma works on some solo Tummy Time and practicing her right hook.

Ophelia comes home just in time for Gemma's bedtime routine. She takes over so Xander can take a shower.

Xander: Good night, muffin. Daddy loves you.

Ophelia didn't think she could love Xander more but seeing him become a dad proved her wrong.

Ophelia sits down and rocks Gemma, telling her all about her time working with Pibs Drew on the song. She's taking Marcie's words to heart and cherishing her time with her baby while she's little.

Judging by those faint green fumes, she's not going to cherish this diaper change.

Ophelia comes into the bedroom as Xander is exiting the en suite.

Ophelia: Whoa. Hello, Daddy.

Xander: You don't have to call me that when Gemma's not around… unless you want to.

Ophelia: Yeah, I'll pass. Since when do you have abs?

Xander: Since like 3 hours ago.

Ophelia: You said in your vows you wanted to be my trophy husband, but you didn't have to lose weight. I liked your little tummy.

Xander: I appreciate it, babe, but I wasn't really trying to lose weight. I just want to make sure I live a long time for you and Gemma.

Ophelia: I want you to stick around for a while too, but just know I think you're handsome no matter what, okay? You're a total DILF.

Xander: Don't you mean DILW?

Ophelia: That doesn't sound as good.

They've been so busy, they haven't be intimate in a while…

It's been a while, but they get right back into the swing of things!

I’m a slow role player because I like to give well thought out replies so if it takes me a while to get your reply out to you that will be the biggest reason I have

I have more than one Rp blog so that also slows down my replies and I have a life outside of Rping which I like to lead on occasion.

If I have not answered you thread with me in over a week then you are welcome to remind me of it but if you do this to many times or start to guilt trip me then I will drop the thread and possibly unfollow you.

If I follow you then I have an interest in your blog and would like to Rp with you.

I love it when people turn memes that I’ve answered into threads but please for the love of all that’s holy put your reply into a new text post and then @ me in it so that I will see it.

I will write smut but I am very awkward with it so if you don’t feel comfortable with it then there will be no pressure. I will only smut with people +18 because I’m not going to jail for your underage ass.

I will Rp all sorts of NSFW besides just sex like, gore, dark themes, torture, blood, horror and things of that nature.

Don’t god mod me. I write the shit my character does and you write your shit for yours plain and simple.

Ever. but we did the best weve ever done !!)#and then this time. six days before competition. they said wed have to pay 50 bucks an hour to compete there again. its a 9 hour competition #so we had to find somewhere else. which i was tasked with #i called: hospital‚ pud‚ civic center‚ city hall‚ local lumber company‚ library‚ tax place‚ senior center‚ fire department‚ and six churches #oh local bus company also #anyway finally person from tax place recommended a coffee shop downtown thatd charge 75 bucks a day for a decent size room #so me n gf went down to check it out. unfortunately theyre only open five hours a day. for a six hour competition. so they couldnt do it #our last options were... visit more churches. the cops ? and... that was all. so we went to get coffee #coffee shop that gave me my cute lemon bracelet :DD! so anyway was complaining to the store owner abt not having a place. and she went #oh would here work? and i went uh. yeah? is it okay if we bring computers? and how long are you open?#she said yeah the computers are fine and we can be open as long as you want ! and i went oh okay. so how much do we have to pay #because wed be occupying the whole place all day. and she said oh no worries :)) free !. and . holy shit. so she called her daughter #who stayed like three hours late today. unpaid. for us to compete #fucking insane this coffee shop has done more for us than the school district has ever. and it was great!!#a lil cramped but cozy and also Coffee. we spent probably 200 bucks on coffee altogether?? hope it was profitable for them they were so nice #gave some of us free stuff fucking insane honestly #also shoutout to the dairy queen for not killing us for walking in with 67 dollars and going give us all the chicken strips this will buy #it was 44 btw. and they gave us a free burger some guy named alex made. i dont know why they did but they wouldnt take no for an answer #anyway im not in a good mood but fuck dude i love local business. i also got a tiny palm reading book to carry around :>

Hello! I’m looking for recommendations for a particular trope/genre: Feudal Era AU as @superpixie42 would say. Fics that are Canon-era (Inuyasha-world without Inuyasha plot) but are not quite canon-divergent or fix-it?
