how do i tell my roommate that her cat repeatedly pissing on and destroying my things is something that people usually offer to clean or replace or apologize for instead of shrugging off

God I fucking CALLED IT the other day I woke up and realized âoh I think I dreamed about M last night, her parents must be thinking of having a date night and asking me to babysitâ and then this evening I got the text asking if I could watch her Saturday evening
#this is a consistent series of events I have never dreamed of her and not heard from her parents soon after#but then this is also the child who had just learned how to speak and asked me if I remembered when I used to be her mommy so thereâs that#again Iâm not saying Iâm psychic#but sometimes I be knowin stuff#and my dreams have a tendency to be slightly prophetic though in uninteresting ways#which is why Iâm so earnestly trying to figure out what that stray kitten dream might portend because I donât usually dream about animals#except for the time I dreamt about two dogs that looked like the two dogs we ended up adopting#so if I had a dream about a stray kitten showing up and our cat loving it and taking care of itâŚ.#Iâm kind of expecting to see a teeny tiny fluffy grey kitten in the near future#I figured out the car trouble dream where I was worried about a sewing machine from a couple weeks agoâŚ#I drove across state lines to buy an antique sewing machine and then that night my thermo control valve shit the bed#you see what I mean by vaguely prophetic in uninteresting ways#and useless at that#except in the case of clearing my schedule for babysitting#theyâre good for that#psychic stuff

#zippy is so frightened. poor guy#we have been playing the tv to try and cover the sound but he is still pacing and trying to climb into the fridge when it opens#<-not possible he's a big dog but he will still try#most of the cats/dogs are fine w fireworks but some still get spooked#zippy is the most scared. he's scared of a lot of things tbh. and he likes to try and get into small places when he's scared (fridge/#bathtub/under beds/in cabinets/shoved btwn wherever u are and the closest wall) which doesnt work bc again. large dog. but he#tries his best#anyway i am the number one hater of ppl being allowed to blow things up for weeks leading up to the fourth of july i think there should#be regulations or smth especially when you live near forests/wheat fields and farm animals and especially when nobody knows#how to clean up their mess from it there's trash everywhere rn and there will be more tomorrow it's ridiculous#and im not a fan of loud noises in the middle of the night and im sure that most ppl arent and some ppl cant handle loud noises#like that and a lot of animals get v spooked by loud noises and in general i have no idea why ppl can buy their own fireworks and set#them off whenever they'd like that just seems dangerous and unnecessary#anyway im in hater mode im a hater i think fireworks are fun i dont think ppl should be setting them off in the middle of the night#for weeks and leaving trash everywhere
