Still going down the Surfer Boy number rabbit hole and it's getting fucking weird.

Basically I wanted to confirm that the number was visible on merchandise that is still dropping, specifically that Transformers collaboration because I heard about it vaguely, but didn't actually look at it myself to confirm.

And what I discovered is that the number changed...

Original number: 805-45-PIZZA

New number: 775-38-PIZZA

Now, when I saw this I was like SHIT this new number must mean that the original isn't important because apparently they had no problem changing it and leaving it unaccounted for.

But then I called the new number...

And low and behold it's the exact same voice. And mind you this voice is unrecognizable, like it doesn't sound like any automated voice I've ever heard before.

This is actually insane because tbh I did feel like I was reaching on that post yesterday where I talked about how the current message, which comes off like Netflix stopped paying the bill and the number is just unassigned now, could actually be a fake message with some sort of intention behind it.

And it appears that since these two numbers have the exact same voice and even use similar words... it is indeed intentional.

But what's even more crazy is the new message itself...

Current message for the original number:

The phone number you just dialed is available. 2499

Current message for the new number:

The phone number you just dialed has already been assigned to a customer and is parked at numbers dot m-e

Just for some clarity, if you want to check the message for the new number yourself please do. I am 97% certain that is what it says, but the very end I'm not as certain about. I would assume the word dot being used here signifies a period? But it sounds like after that is spells out the word me? So it's technically numbers.me?

I looked that up and it seemed like a dead end, just some telephone number solutions company.

Sort of leaving that part undetermined because I could be wrong about what it says.

What is noteworthy about this new message though is that it contrasts the original. The original number was referred to as 'available'. But the new number 'has already been assigned to a customer' and is 'parked'?

The message itself does sort of align with what people were probably expecting when they called the number after buying the transformer? Because they put it on there knowing people would call it and expect a message on the other end, and so it obviously had to match this idea of it being a pizza place answering. Which makes the customer and parking mentions make it seem like a pick up order or something?

But considering the original number's message has changed, and for some reason includes a mention of the number 2499 at the end, slightly off from the original 4992, I'm curious about what all these references to numbers being available vs. assigned and also changing could possibly mean?

We may know now that the original number is in fact a real (fake) message, and yet I still don't feel that much closer to cracking it.

What the hell is the original message hinting at? And what does this new message maybe add to it?

clover plushie planning???

don't get me wrong, i adore my clover plushie designed by gingerkingfisher, but i think it'd be fun to make my own! she is my favorite ii character, after all!! (the more the merrier haha)

say, does anyone have any tips for making the body nice and solid? i don't want her head to droop, and i imagine it'd be on the heavier side considering how large it'd be. i'd want to put wire in her arms anyway so they'd be posable, so maybe i could also put wire in her body?? not sure... and yeah she'd be more stable if she were smaller, but i want her to be cuddly :)

the head would be two pieces, front and back (the pattern would be made by tracing four of the leaf pattern). the body could either just be front and back like the head, or with a circular piece on the bottom too for shape (the arms and legs would be sewn into the side body seams). either way, i'd want to attach the body to the middle of the back of her head, as that's where the stem would reasonably attach to the leaves - but that might contribute to the drooping i was worrying about. her face details would all be sewn on, cuz i'm bad at embroidery :P

Cobalt Kobolds, Blue Kobolds or Koblues are various names of a rare species of Kobolds who for enigmatic reasons have leanings towards the energy of the Fae Realm or ties to Fairy Dragons. Their scales are a vibrant Blue color, not quite like the Chromatic Blue Dragon, they almost resemble the shiny iridescent color of Cobalt Quartz crystals in color. Their ears and tail are also distinct features that separate them from other Kobolds. They have large ears which greatly resemble Butterfly or Fairy Wings, featuring unique patterns that may be used to identify individuals and Eyespots which may serve a role in intimidating or deterring predators. Their tails give off a constant faint blue ghostly glow which trails magical wisps like fire making them stand out in their dark environment, some travelers have reported what were likely a large group of Cobalt Kobolds making a tree appear to be ablaze with ghostly blue flames without burning. Rather than trying to go for camouflage, they have taken more of an aposematic coloration approach using their coloration to warn aggressors and predators  that attacking or eating them is a bad idea. Like other Kobolds, they tend to dwell in tight knit horde communities with strong social order, and can be found mostly within dark and wild places of the world like dense forest floors and dark caves. While they are very capable climbers they seem to be most comfortable on the ground and digging burrows in the earth either within caves or under large trees. They are diligent workers, who tend to be content when left to their own devises, however they are also clever and industrious little inventors with an inclination towards mischief, which is perhaps enhance by their Fae Dragon connections. They love to build things for the main purpose of messing with travelers who pass through their territory. These traps are more meant to annoy and frustrate travelers rather than actually cause them physical harm like a chest that releases smelly gas when opened. They like to see travelers be surprised and laugh at their misfortune, but If the traveler is a good sport about being pranked, they may receive a boon and be welcomed next time they pass by the Kobold’s territory or led by the Cobalt Kobolds to an area of value. Cobalt Kobolds can also be appeased with offerings and gifts, returning the favor in kind, though sometimes this just means they are going to stealing from somebody else. However particularly poor sport and violent travelers deeply offend Cobalt Kobolds, and they have a long memory for people they hate. They tend to try not to directly confront targets, but will cause “accidents” to happen around them. They also have a special trick for people they particularly don’t like being able to poison metal objects with a touch. Sometimes if they are trying to escape a dangerous pursuer, they will drop a pouch that contains poisoned Golden coins to distract them, and then regroup to gang up on them while they are weak.
