Addendum regarding the bees: Honey bees are not in danger of extinction. Native bees are! (The article is about the US, but I'm sure it applies to many other countries too. Even if the honeybee is native somewhere, there are guaranteed to be other bees and insect pollinators which are struggling.)
If you really want to help bees, plant flowers native to your region and/or encourage your town/city to plant them in public areas.
Vegans of tumblr, listen up. Harvesting agave in the quantities required so you dont have to eat honey is killing mexican long-nosed bats. They feed off the nectar and pollinate the plants. They need the agave. You want to help the environment? Go back to honey. Your liver and thyroid will thank you, as well. Agave is 90% fructose, which can cause a host of issues. Bye.

As a fellow member of the sheephood spectrum, I can confirm.
Also for those of you wondering, sheep and goats ARE different animals, but in many languages (most of which are Chinese) the common house hold term for either creature is the same.
For example,
In mandarin, both goats and sheep are referred to as Yáng. (although in some cases goats are called Shānyáng which is just mountain sheep). This typically is fine, but can cause some transnational problems such as in Lunar New Year's. The year of the Yáng frequently gets mixed up in English because different people read it as either year of the goat, or year of the sheep, and in English speaking marketing there is a distinctive difference in the two even though they are the same thing in the source material.
Interestingly enough from my personal experience, it's almost always businesses who celebrate year of the goat while Asian immigrants celebrate year of the sheep. I personally was raised with Year of the Ram, which is the same thing as sheep but specifically male. I don't particularly care for gender specific celebrations so I choose to ignore this.

Ram Island Light, Boothbay Harbor, Maine. When raising sheep was more popular, islands were a great place to keep them and not have to build a fence. Rams were kept to their own islands most of the year to control the breeding population. Rams once resided on this island, located at the mouth of the Damariscotta River, but today it's just the lighthouse. If you're looking to visit, just make sure you've got the right one. There's also Ram Island Ledge Light in Casco Bay, and 28 other Ram Islands in the state.
