So yeah, I finished the drawing of Asha's redesign from Wish :D, maybe I'll make some changes in the future, but I'm happy to have finished it, it should be noted that I haven't seen the movie. , so I can't give my opinion on it yet, but I found it very interesting that their fandom is mainly made up of people who rewrote or made their own version of the movie, they are all very creative and it got me out of an artistic block. that I had a few months ago, but above all I found the rewriting of @annymation which is the one I have been most hooked on, so I wanted to do some redesigns of the characters coming out of its rewriting, that's why everything that has to do with the story of this version of Asha, as well as her personality and her world on which I base my drawing are the ideas and work of this account: @annymation

I'm just making a drawing of her character and how I would design her as well as sharing part of the process I had to do to draw her because, why not?

BOARD:

The first thing I had to do was put together a table full of references that reminded me of the character and things that I would like to add to her design, so I used milanote to do it:

-Looked for some Asha's concept art and save the ones I liked the most, and add the main colors that I used in the design. -I also created notes to write down the personality of the character and some of his data to have a better guide, I did a little research and found publications that talked a lot about Asha's discarded designs and how Disney workers had put that she had tribe ancestry Amazigh on his mother's side and since his father was from the Iberian Peninsula, that's why the next thing I wanted to do is research more about their culture. -I am not an expert on this topic, nor do I belong to the cultures from which Asha has ancestry, so you can comment on any correction regarding this topic, I wanted to implement details of this culture to her design and I would really like to give a correct representation :)

HAIRSTYLE

Continuing with the theme, I saw that the hairstyles in the Amazigh culture mostly had this type of colorful decorations on their braids and dreadlocks, that's why I also posted these reference photos for Asha's hairstyle.

-Finally I decided that Asha would not have all her hair full of braids or dreadlocks, but only a few accompanied by these decorations with a great variation of colors, although it was fun to sketch the many hairstyle options that I had in mind based on these concept art and other photos that I had saved

TATTOOS:

-Another detail that I liked was giving Asha some tattoos with designs from the Amazigh culture, because I saw that it was quite common for women to get them, the tattoo on her forehead is a symbol of protection against bad influences, that's why the The middle symbol is responsible for deflecting it in the 4 directions, I also added a similar one in Asha's right hand.

ASTROLOGY AND THE SPACE:

-An important part of Asha's rewrite is her knowledge of astronomy inherited from her father, especially with the stars for obvious reasons xd, so in addition to adding constellations to her dresses, research the meaning (or something like that) of the planets. Only 3 really reminded me of the character, which were: -Mars: Symbolization of the internal conquering function of moving forward, independent, self-determined, enduring failures with new energy, courage and energy to fight for your desires. -Saturn: Maturity, effort to solidly build realistic criteria, frustrations are transformed into objectives to continue growing, critical and realistic, far from getting frustrated when an objective does not work, you strive to move forward and obtain even more resistant and solid achievements, perseverance , and tenacity (I feel like yhis it the most similar to Asha :D) -Moon: protective role, feeling very vulnerable outside your known areas, feeling of security with your ties, importance of family ties. The one that reminded me the most of Asha was Saturn, that's why I drew those Saturn-shaped earrings :).

SUITS:

I looked for references and placed some on milanote, I noticed that the concept art was mainly divided into whether the dresses have lilac colors or warm colors, I decided to draw 2 models based on the discarded designs, although at first I thought of using only one color palette lilac and bluish, I realized that the reddish colors of her dress reminded me of Mars which has certain meanings that in my opinion coincide with Asha's personality. In the end I didn't decide what wardrobe she would primarily have 😅, but I like to think that in this version of Wish, Asha would have wardrobe and hairstyle changes like in some older Disney movies.

I am satisfied with the result, it was fun to make all this, although what I researched mostly seems little, it actually cost me several hours and I did it at night, so as a funny fact the next day I was explaining all this information to my mother and I felt like I looked like that:

For a long time I never went back to the comic because the writing I did was awful. Everyone was acting out of character, it was SUPER dramatic. I wrote Peso's character all wrong. Uhg, awful awful awful.

And then I was kept away from going back because people would not stop asking me to finish it. "Why did you abandon this comic?" "Are you gonna finish it?" "Why did you stop drawing it" "Go back and finish the crab comic" Like, it was so frustrating.

...Buuuuutt,, rewriting it? Hmmm... I'm way too wrapped up with projects to start this anytime soon. But I wont lie this ask really got me thinking about it-

I dug into the series a bit and took a look around the fanbase. And I decided that it just wasn't really my thing.

Although I did love the character designs and I think they'd be really fun to draw, I didn't think I'd get along with the fandom. I can see myself huddled in my own little corner with all my headcannons and stuff, and I wouldn't really want to interact with anyone else. :/

Also my favorite character is probably Julie or Howdy XDD

I use an XPPen Artist 13.3 Pro. Its a tablet with a screen! :))

As for my drawing program I use FireAlpaca. Its free and really good for beginners and pros! Highly recommend if you're just getting into digital art. Also thank you!! :D

Wanna know a good place to start if you genuinely struggle with that? Make 1 character that is based off of you. And then make a second character that is based off of someone in your life that you have 0 romantic interest in what so ever. Like your Mom, or your Dad, siblings, Uncle, dog literally anyone. It should be impossible to twist those 2 characters together because they are modeled after you and ur mom. You should look at them and say "thats me and my mom" or "thats me and my brother" Those 2 should then be characters that are 100% protected from becoming a ship. :0

This actually reminded me of my transformer ocs. I modeled the characters after the drivers/owners. And people wanted to ship them together and I was like "for 1 they are my OCs so thats kind'a odd but 2 those two characters are based off of siblings. They absolutely should not- in ANY universe, be paired together"

Personally not a huge fan of the bright blue color he has. Seeing his Bonnie Bowl artwork everywhere I expected him to be his usual purple..

As for my Bonnie I think he'd get along pretty well with his Glamrock counterpart! But when it comes to the Bowling ally they'd be rivals. >:)

1: Yes! My Peach, Daisy, Wario and Waluigi are all the same species, which is not human. They are this incredibly tall elf like species that closely resembles humans and has many biological similarities.. but ultimately they are very different species.

2: Its hard to say.. I've been known to change my mind a lot so maybe? Honestly I hope that someday these feelings towards fanart will vanish and I will be able to engage with my fans more. But for now,, noooo fanworks :(

So... I kinda hated the way they did the childhood friends trope for Stoliz since you can't have a long-lasting friendship after just one day of a forced playdate between two, frankly, abusive adults and Stolas just expects Blitzø to remember him after a decade and a half;-; which is weird so I built up on that idea/refined it a little on their part in the rewrite (they won't be endgame! I PROMISE!) Honestly, the episode was horrible but I kept it and I'll later add a dramatic twist to it maybe...

So for BlitzFizz, I think the show handled it a bit better but could use a little more refining and actually show them as good/strongly-tied friends since if Fizz was really Blitzø's friend, wouldn't he try to be a bit defensive of him instead of being Cash Buckzo's lapdog/golden goose, idk maybe the whole circus was toxic except for Barbie and Tilla XD

In short, I love the childhood friends trope but if it's DONE RIGHT!

So I decided to create my own partner for him which was my OC, but don't worry, they won't have an exclusive closed-off conservative relationship.

Full backstory ft. Blitzø's POV under the cut ;) (Heavily based on the Anne and Marcy backstory with a few changes to fit the worldbuilding)

The story goes that I grew tired of performing on one of our shows at a pier in the Envy District in The Pentagram. So, I quietly left the tents, made my way to the beach, played in the water, and noticed a young girl. She had skin as pale as the Earth's moon, hair as dark as the night, and was sitting by herself constructing a large sandcastle…small wings folded behind her. Nearby, a tall man with red sunglasses, curly hair, and a top hat adorned with a big, eerie smile was watching over her.

I invited her over to splash in the waves, but she'd rather stay high and dry, working on her "masterpiece" in the sand. I laughed at first, then it caught in my throat as I saw what she'd built. A stick in her hand traced out a literal blueprint, not just any drawing - a detailed scale model of a castle from her favorite video game (the name escapes me again, you've been obsessed with it since you were, like, six years old? Still the first thing you mention to new people, well, since the last time I saw you…). Right, it was C&C, Vagabondia Chronicles, and some dark and spooky tabletop games on the side along with..."classic" fairytales. I may have been lost in translation, but the passion burning in your eyes for this game and the castle homage was crystal clear. Even as the waves rolled in closer, I knew I had to defend your masterpiece from the watery demise before it was complete. You were getting flustered, so I grabbed your hand, met your gaze, and declared with all the seriousness a kid (even me) could muster: WE WOULD DEFEND YOUR CASTLE TO THE BITTER END! That part, at least, I remember clearly. Your dads apparently saw us valiantly "attacking" the water with our little shovels. It was a doomed battle, for sure, but we went down swinging, tripping over each other in a fit of laughter and getting soaked to the bone. We lost the castle, yeah, that part sucked, but hey, we found each other. And damn, if that didn’t make all the chaos worth it.

Damn it, Darc, why did I have to push you away?! If only I hadn’t been so stupid to think our relationship could cause a war. I had a chance to escape from the shitty drama in my life earlier, from my shitty circus, from my shitty dad, from my shitty family. I would’ve planned for Mom to get cured, and maybe bring Fizz. I wish things were different, but they’re not. And, I’m sorry I had to make you go through this… but you’re strong, I’d think you’d be the only person who’d move on and not excessively hate me like the others did. One day, I’ll come back for you and I can finally sort out the shit we’ve done to each other.

Soooooo your Cheese Melt/Kindred Spirits AU 👀

Since Dani figures out what Vlad’s original plan for her was, (which is what I presume she found down in the lab in that first fake screenshot. Rip XD), how do they end up getting close again? Obviously Vlad saves her life, but like, after that lol. Is it just a matter of Vlad routinely proving that he actually cares over the course of a while that does it? Something more dramatic?? A bit of both???

Also feel free to drop the deets on those episode rewrites you’ve got knocking around your brain, especially Living Large, because I’d love to see how that episode plays out in this AU <3

Essentially, yeah! It's just Vlad continually being really extra as a parent and making decent choices in regards to Dani. (He's selfishly selfless: He values his own happiness the most, but it just so happens that he's thoroughly convinced that Dani's happiness is what makes HIM happy. Leave it to him to twist everything to his own benefit, right?)

Dani is giving him another chance because ultimately, he did save her life and is clearly trying to make up for what was a truly horrible plan (that he actually abandoned pretty much the day after she was born. He may have convinced himself that he was just delaying the plan, but in reality the moment he decided "not today" was the moment he unknowingly doomed himself lol. It just took him a while to actually ACKNOWLEDGE that his priorities changed. He had no intention of letting Danielle die by the time she discovered the truth). Ultimately Dani wants what every child wants: a good parent. And Vlad, well. He's Vlad. But when he wants something, he throws everything into getting it. So Dani no longer believes Vlad is good like she used to, but she does still believe that he loves her.

As for this AU's version of Livin' Large, I'll drop a few details below the cut!

-The Fentons move next door to Vlad and Dani. Dani seems happy about this, Vlad is less so.

-In the original episode, Danny refuses to investigate what the Guys In White want with his family's portal, so this prompts Sam and Tucker to ask Dani for help instead.

-They get caught, as in canon, but Dani pings as critically ectocontaminated and is swiftly loaded up to be shipped off elsewhere. This coincides directly with Danny flying by after his little "maybe i should do something, actually" moment and he immediately swoops in to save her. Unfortunately, the GIW nab him too.

-hilarious hijinks ensue as Danny and Dani try various methods to escape confinement. None of them work.

-Ultimately, it's a deeply annoyed Vlad in a white suit and sunglasses who rolls up to the facility to collect his daughter. ("....What the heck are you wearing?" Danny asks with extreme derision. "It's called a disguise, Daniel, and it's the reason I haven't also been locked in a cage. Unlike you, I might add." Vlad fires back smugly. "You should see his other ones," Dani pipes up, prompting one to wonder just how many times Vlad has impersonated government agents before.)

-Vlad unceremoniously tazes an agent who asked for his ID on the way out.

-Dani turns her big Bambi eyes on Vlad to see if he'll help them save the Ghost Zone from certain destruction. Danny is like "No, that's okay, I think we're good." Vlad gives him a look and flippantly asks if they REALLY think the GIW are smart enough to destroy the Ghost Zone. Dani's like "they're idiots with a giant missile, they're gonna destroy SOMETHING, Dad."

-does this turn into reluctant halfa trio team up? yeah maybe, sue me.

Crucabena got an impressive design but serious lack of attention even though her character was pretty significant for Arlecchino and funny how some seem to think Clervie is her clone, but I can also accept that she fucks some guy and she's a certified Milf

Ok, let me share something about Crucabena and Arlecchino. This is my personal belief regarding what went behind Arlecchino's writing and role in Fontaine, I'm making it clear this is NOT FACTS this is entirely my headcanon based on sussy rumours and insider bits. So pls don't come at me saying I'm spreading false info or defaming anyone.

I personally think the writing of 'Arlecchino' character went through changes before and after the Lazzo trailer. When she was for the first time mentioned in the Inazuma WQ, she had 'Lord Arlecchino' title and male pronouns, I do not think this was mere translation error and rather at that time Mihoyo intended to have her as a male Harbinger. Idk what changed their mind but it could be they saw a huge imbalance in the Harbinger ratio especially after killing Signora and decided to genderbend both Arlecchino and Sandrone.

Next part is Childe and Scaramouche's voicelines on Arlecchino. I'm well aware both of them are unreliable narrators and have their own biases when talking about others; but I will emphasize on Childe's voiceline particularly. In Arlecchino's SQ, we are in fact told that Childe's initial impression on her was based on Pulcinella's info and that now he thinks of her differently. To me, this sounds like a very clear excuse for justifying Arlecchino's current characterization. It really screams to me that they changed her writing sometime later.

So, speaking of Lazzo now. For how much hype it generated, I believe Arlecchino's popularity really stood out. Even now in overall Harbinger popularity rankings she's easily top 3. I think Mihoyo did not expect this so initially they wrote her to be evil and likely unplayable, more in line with Childe and Scaramouche's voicelines. But they obviously saw the money she would bring and started working on rewriting her. I'm not entirely sure but I believe they later added a new dialogue to the Inazuma WQ NPC explaining Efim's operation was for the previous Knave and not current.

Now, around January last year aka before Fontaine release there were sussy leaks going around on Fontaine AQ having many drafts and that some of them detail Arlecchino will be killed. There were quite elaborate details on how she will be killed and this obviously sparked lot of unrest in the community. I'm not saying Mihoyo changed the plot after seeing the unrest, no not at all that's way too close to Fontaine release. But the fact they had multiple plots outlined having her death tells me a lot.

So, the overall point here is- Arlecchino was initially planned to be evil, irredeemable and unplayable but the popularity from Lazzo changed this. Then later on to shift the blame of all the crimes related to the 'Knave' title, they conjured up Crucabena and went all out in making her absolutely despicable and horrible since they didn't have to worry about selling her. Making pretty mommies is nothing new for them, they slapped the typical dead anime mother design on her and used her as scapegoat to make Arlecchino look better.

This is the basic gist of it, and explains the lack of attention to her. Sure, she's significant to Arlecchino but she's not important enough to have anything more and take the spotlight from Arlecchino (she already does in terms of looks imo so yeah). And to further keep this image, they made Arlecchino a good person overall who does nothing bad and cares for children, made her friends with Childe who is already liked enough in the fandom etc etc all that typical sympathy points. Yeah, that's what I think sorry this is so long xD

Mhn there was some interesting implications there. Low key I sometimes just went "Actually she's as old as them she's just short" XD But yeah usually went with younger, if still old given Celestia addresses her as Mare & Shining as Colt.

Usually born as a consequence of the battle with Nightmare Moon but sometimes other ways. & in one or two cases deliberately engineered.

Also gosh so true, I recall this one fic that had like multiple alternate ends to Canterlor Wedding but one of my favorites basically has the cast. In a very casual and jokey way, outline that Chrysalis by the standards of Bridezilla's was not even that bad. So none of them really keyed into her behavior being off.

tbh I assumed off-the-bat that Cadence was a lot younger than Tia and Luna due to the fact of like. She's known Twilights family for many years and it would make her relationship with Shining very :/ if she was an ancient goddess who had known him since he was a teenager.

within my AU I have a whole thing of there being other Immortal God-like beings. Tia, Luna, Discord and Chrysalis are the ones still known to be walking the mortal plane.

Others had children, and their lineage makes up the Royals we see like Cadence and Blueblood.

re: canterlot wedding in particular I did do a rewrite of it a while back. My main changes were just elaborating on the confusion re: Cadence v Mi Amore Cadenza.

Like the rest of the Mane 6 were under the impression that Twilight didn't know the bride because she made a big deal of 'how dare my brother get married to a stranger!' the whole train ride up there. So they think her ranting is just about how 'Cadence is the Worst™' out of protectiveness, and yeah her bridezilla antics aren't that bad they've dealt with worse.

But then they're given the context of 'Twilight has known Cadence for years, and she's acting totally out of character even accounting for high-stress'. So they believe that something's up. They encoruage trying to talk to Cadence before going 'ah yes she must've changed or been faking being nice all these years.'. Then Twi comes back with the 'oh shit she's brainwashing him holy SHIT' info and they believe her because they've seen enough weird shit.

Shining is unhelpful when confronted thanks to the aformetioned brainwashing, but Celestia is more willing to listen because. Ya know. She knows Twilight and Shining and Cadence and none of them are acting like they should right now. She agrees with Twilight that it's odd and that she'll investigate some. Unfortunately because it's Chrysalis and not a random Changeling, the fake slips through Celestia's tests. Plus between the discussion and the tests, Twilight's been yeeted into the catacombs and the fake Cadence is like 'oh she apologized and we agreed to do some bonding after the wedding!'.

So its about time I say this: I won't be making any content about this AU anymore, so that unfortunately puts it into the discontinued undertale comics category xd

I just really lost the spark I had 2 years ago when making it, so the "little hiatus" that I thought was only going to be a few months turned into more than a year.

I'm sorry to those who were waiting and wanted to see more, but there is another reason why I'm doing this-

It's not gonna be an AU anymore, it's going to be an original story.

I really thought about it for a while and I decided that making it into an original story would give me more creative freedom and I wouldn't have to always stick to one storyline, I wanted to expand the world more as well as the characters, but since its all based on a game with a pretty much solid story, it was hard for me to insert some things that would be out of place or wouldn't make sense.

So, I hope you understand, this AU was truly a learning experience for both my art and my writing since I made it when I was really young and not very experienced, but I'm glad I was able to improve along the way.

This is gonna be a bit long so if you really wanna read this whole thing be prepared xd

This whole thing doesn't mean I'm quitting Undertale altogether, I'm still continuing the Strays Au, and I want that AU to be my main Undertale AU now since I've always intended on making it Undertale related and I'm already satisfied with it right now, so I don't intend on making it original or anything.

When I started Chromatale I was still a kid-ish, and I was at the toilet with my phone and idk how it started but I decided to doodle a Sans on my phone and thought "I can make an Undertale AU!".

And so I did. Chromatale back then was reallyyy different, it was a post-genocide story with Sans and Frisk trying to bring everyone back -yeah real original younger me

There was a comic I did on my phone but now its lost in time unfortunately, it went though like 2 rewrites until I decided to make it a full AU with my own story. And so some brainstorming later and the comic you all know today was made!

Again, I was still new to the whole comic making thing and my writing was pretty sloppy, I'm still surprised it got a lot of attention- I was full of passion and really worked my butt off to make each pages, even with school going on (it was online so it wasn't much of a hassle tho) I was determined to finish it and already had a lot of the comic planned.

That is until I felt a bit worn out, my motivation was getting lower until I could barely produce a page, so that's when I decided to put the comic on hiatus, I initially planned for it to only be a few months but then time went on and I still didn't feel motivated to continue it.

During that time I was just doing my own thing, making some OC art and different stories, making another Undertale AU, going back to school and a shit ton of projects to do- I felt like a little weight was lifted from my back, the comic had turned into labor for me and constantly doing updates wasn't very healthy, since during some updates I had to force myself to finish it.

The story was also changing in the middle of it, I had to rewrite chapter 3 since the first version was literally full of "fanservice" that I only noticed when I re-read the chapter a few months later.

I just wasn't satisfied with it, the story that my younger self had in mind didn't fit what I wanted now since I had grown more mature as time went on, the whole AU really taught me what to do and what not to do.

Initially I actually wanted to reboot Chromatale again and focus more on the concepts and solidifying the plot before engaging in a comic, but after some thinking I thought it would be better to transition it into an original story. I really wanted to expand the story more and again gain more creative freedom than being limited to a pretty much complete-ish story.

I wanted to do what I wanted instead of forcing it to fit with the fandom's liking and preference.

Although its going to be an original story some things will sorta be the same but I won't go into too much detail about it.

I won't promise a comic though, mini comics sure but not anything official. Maybe in the far distant future, but I doubt, I still got a lot of other stories I wanna make into comics >>

Now some things I would like to clarify:

"Now that you're discontinuing Chromatale can it be mine?"

-Unfortunately as much as you want to claim it, no. Chromatale still belongs to me. Even if its going to be original now there's still a lot about it during its UTAU days. I still own it, but I don't want to be heavily associated with it. I'd rather have others focus on the new version than the AU version, and I don't want all my other works to be overshadowed by it. I hope you understand.

"Can I still make fanart?"

-Feel free to still make fanart, I won't restrict anyone from still making any. But I'd still like to see fanart of the new version 👀

"Can I still dub the comic?"

-Sure, make sure to still credit me but please specify to viewers that the comic is now discontinued and its become an original story, I don't wanna give the viewers false hope. If your dubbing for fun then go ahead!

Any dub of the comic that has been published has my permission to still be up in public, I won't force anyone to take it down. But please don't use it for any profiting or income.

Now that's been settled, I'm planning on posting some concepts from the AU that I still have since I don't think I'll use some anymore and now that its ok to show now that I discontinued the comic xd

heya spottie! just a few questions i had fizzing around my brain, sorry for hanging around like a bad smell, i just want to get things accurate D:

So, am i right in thinking that you consider re-writes to be the same story, but if one or two things were different? (eg, writing a story but adding an oc to the mix) Would the same events and characters but in different situations (cough, swap au, cough) be different or would you still consider that a re-write? (essentially, what im asking is 'can i put swapped aus in a same scene as their normal counterparts?')

..sorry if any of this was already covered, but would any of the gang chase a toy around like a little kitten? But yes rewrites are when you take something of mine and then add something to it but completely take my plot (aka a what if scenario like what if Gabriel found Sadao earlier in the game but still had all the events happening that I came up with)

But a role swap is a bit more tricky. I’d say you could have the same plot happen but because of all the characters being switched around I’d think it would be fine? As long as it’s not word for word my own dialogue and stuff I have. Like if you just kept Gabriel saying what Sebastian says and does (since it’s a role swap). If that makes sense? So think it would be fine, as long as you acknowledge that this is still my creation just tweaked a little bit? Idk I just don’t want people to take my characters and run with them I had it happen before when I first started writing stuff (back in the bendy fandom) and I am just weary of it now.

As for playing with toys, I think yeah Sadao probably would be the one? His instincts are the ones that hold his mind the most, they send him in a trance a sort of hunter’s dream and it’s hard for him to control. But he gets very embarrassed about it afterwards.

yes!:) its title is robin vol 2: future nostalgia and it’s a series that i have been planning for a long time, i’m just enormously slow and get distracted by other projects… i suppose semantics did come out more than a year ago now.

it roughly follows the events of canon post-jay’s death (probably not including knightfall though, because there’s so much to fit in in such a short amount of time. but i’ve been questioning it) with the obvious change being jay’s presence… i’m writing it a bit out of order but they’re all supposed to work as stand-alones… right now i’m working on an instalment adapting bruce wayne: murderer.

as the title of the series suggests, jay does keep the title of robin post-aditf. though that becomes complicated later on and a source of grief, and a crisis of faith, and also comes with lots of coming of age angst… but nevertheless, he keeps robin (in one form or… another) which also means tim has absolutely no reason to be there. i’m thinking of working in some mention to indicate what he’s up to, but that’s about that. and i suppose a version of tim from the canon-esque earth (or prime earth) appears in the epilogue/the multiverse instalment. but that’s about it.

and to answer the question about gordon — yeah, jay’s not fond of him! in fact, if i were to write robin vol 1 (a rewrite of jay’s actual tenure as robin up until aditf) i would also make him wary and uncomfortable around cops… but as it is, in robin vol 2, one of the main themes is jay’s… slight political radicalisation, that happens for the most part through his reconnection with his roots and leslie, and he ends up being rather awkward about batman-cops connections in general. (and vigilantism in itself for a moment, even.) dick actually presents his idea as “undercover” work (which he also insists on calling it as in canon, at times) but that does not make the impact any lesser.

A fresh drop of water on her lips – she could breathe again, his words clearing her mind like a cool breeze, a balsam for her fever. She squeezed his hands in reassurance, then let go slowly, whipped the wand out of her pocket and pointed it at her face. Her eyes shut tight, her face scrunched up to battle the pain of Transfiguration – it hurt more if you did it in a hurry, but there was not a second to waste – and Lily was back, bright red lipstick clashing with her hair, uninteresting brows and thin lips that James now didn’t pull back from.

I especially loved the "fresh drop of water on her lips" - because previously you say how her mouth was dry - because of the anticipation and the gravity of that moment! Love it!

Oh, this is a snippet with SO much backstory xD

I've talked before about how this chapter, and namely this scene, gave me a world of trouble! The second part - from Her eyes shut tight till the end - was written for the first draft of this scene, which was later put aside and rewritten. Eventually the second draft didn't work either, though, so I rewrote that scene again, and found the opportunity to use this discarded snippet which I'd loved since the beginning!

I remember rewriting that scene frantically at work, because I'd been stuck on it for too long and I really wanted to post the chapter for @joyseuphoria's birthday 😅 Some of the franticness translated in the text, apparently xD And on one hand, I think it works! There is a part of me that finds the fresh drop of water line unnecessarily purple and cringey 😅 but yeah it came about exactly because her mouth was previously dry, I like working with the words like that! So I'm glad I kept it and you like it 😊❤️❤️

Blog update: “About” and “Characters” pages rewrite 

First of, happy new year everyone! Hoping this one doesn’t end me for good haha. 

As stated above, “About” and “Characters” pages have been updated with new info, character description, sheets and art (which you see in this post). You’ll need to open the blog in browser in order to view these pages. Keep in mind that it’s all subject to change given that the story is still in early development (I wrote down 1/4 of the script plan so far) and I might get rid of things I feel I can’t utilize properly. 

I’m also opening the ask box again, so if the text inspires you or makes you wonder certain things, you can drop your message there :) I can’t promise I’ll be quick to answer and I probably won’t be able to answer all of your asks but I’ll do my best to read through them all.

Edd’s style is still considered “weird” but in a more obnoxious and bold way. It’s screaming “Look at me! Look at me! I’ll have you look my way like it or not!”. I like the silly thought of him coming to embrace larger suits thanks to his sire. It is comfortable! And one of the kind - if you were wondering for what purpose Edd needs sewing skills, that’s the answer :)  

Tord lost his iconic sweater and scarf. I gotta say I wasn’t sure if bare chest idea would work out but I’m glad I tried it cuz heck yeah it did. Love it or hate it Tord doesn’t give a damn 😎   His fake horns are now slicked back which makes him look like a disgruntled kitten lol And I added a belt buckle, it’s a skull being crushed by a hammer (roughly designed after thor’s hammer as a nod to his origin); it carries a certain personal significance too 

Matt style is still inspired by vintage suits and illustrations but customized for personal taste. Like the vest being asymmetrical, or the suit being more “flappy” and with a big cutout on the back. It’s sort of a way of saying “I might be playing by the rules but I do it my own way”. He is ultimate bishounen now and his power is mesmerizing enemies with that iconic anime stare and sound effects (this is a joke, but a joke I love) 

Tom had it worst XD but also I had the most fun with him. The pale yellow parts on his body are supposed to be bone and um...shell...thing...you know when something spends a lot of time in the water in the open sea and you get it out and it’s covered in those THINGS yeah I can’t find the word but hopefully you got my point hahaha. It was hard to keep him as monstrous as possible but also recognizable but I think giving him the monster tom color palette did the job. Also yes he got scales. And the texture I did on his skin is supposed to be semi-transparent...like jello maybe? he’s hideous and a pain to color and i love him lol

A little detail i notice from both the movie and show

That ryder, in show call mayor humdinger in full title. Mean while in movie , ryder just call him humdinger

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's a personality change. Honestly, during the events in the movies, I wouldn't call him Mayor either, like wtf. Those are so NOT things a Mayor would/should be doing to their city or citizens at all.

Also, they're in Adventure City. If we take the movies as same verse from the series (which we can't at all but let's play pretend here for a second), Humdinger has been the Mayor of FOGGY BOTTOM for quite some time now. Why the heck did he go to Adventure City? Did he want bigger fish? Did he lose re-elections in Foggy Bottom? Did he leave Foggy Bottom with someone else to rule there? What are the rules for someone to run for Mayor in Adventure City, they probably need to be RESIDENTS of the city for that, or at least own property there for some time?

The movies are a different take on the franchise anyway. They're not the same verse as the show, since there was a rewrite for the Mighty Meteor arc stuff. It branches off of the show, but is to be taken as a different verse. Think of it as a tree. The main show is the trunk, with several branches coming out of it: Every subseries, every special, every movie, that thing with the Live At Home or whatever it was called, I didn't check that one yet. Rubble & Crew. And so on XD Liberty made it into the show, sure, but I can't say anything for sure about that because the episodes where she shows up post-second movie aren't available for me to watch anywhere.

We got a PawMultiver pretty much like the Spiderverse, or if you wanna go farther back in time, the Ninja Turtles Multiverse which is also acknowledged in canon several times, be it in movies, shows or comics, with the characters meeting each others even:

We can easily take the movies as a different verse just for the whole Meteor lore thing, if you'd like to go for something more subtle, notice the pups HAVE GROWN UP A BIT since the first movie to the second! They even mention it, mostly about Chase, but if you put Zuma pics from first and second movie side by side, you'll notice he's grown a bit too.

Anyway yeah, not really a personality change, it's most probably just a whole different verse and I would automatically refuse to call him Mayor too XD

Of Portals, Travels and Blossoming Romance

Synopsis:

As Rey's newest apprentice, you managed to stumble across the Jedi temple in Ahch-to when she leaves you to meditate and to guide the other younglings.

Apparently touching murals in a temple is not the brightest idea, seeing how you're now faced with an unknown.

Note: this is honestly just the third rewrite of this one XD after this I'm going on star wars break to write more jjk, but I'll write Ezra stuffs, if ya'll have requests. Gimme a week or two to write some of my jjk ideas and then it's back to Ezra <3

You were stuck in a temple in Ahch-to, not because your master left you there, but because you decided that you wanted to explore this planet that had the remnants of the very first Jedi temple. Your master told you to meditate, feel the force as she said. But being left all alone in your room, hearing all the new younglings that were brought here by Poe Dameron and parents who believed that their children needed guidance, training basic saber skills using bo staffs, made you feel antsy.

There weren't many padawans your age, nor were there many Masters, in fact your master was still the only known master. Though you've heard that Ezra Bridger lives, his location is unknown and with what he went through, your master decided to not involve him in her plans. Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren are also unknown. Whether Ahsoka is still alive is quite debatable. Togruta's who were force sensitive were rumored to live til two hundred years old but you digress.

You wanted to see the temple that crumbled down due to what Kylo-no, what Ben Solo did. Now here you were, foot stuck in a crack on the ground. You held onto the wall for stability, in the picture of a woman with an owl beside her. You felt dizzy, then nothing. You opened your eyes to a fascinating sight. It was like a path filled with endless gateways, with the stars as its background. You had no clue where you were, so you decided to walk around. This place was strange to say the least. You could feel your lightsaber with you still and the small pack you carried but you nearly dropped both when you heard the sound of birds' squawk. The owl's white feathers tinged with green with light green eyes, stared at you. As if sensing your fear it flies away. It turns around and beckons for you to follow. You ran after it and saw that as it landed on one of the gateways, it opened up. The sight before you was a blur but you decided to fall through, perhaps the owl had an idea. You wished to learn about the force or what the history was but, there were barely any salvageable items in any of the temples thanks to the empire. So without any hesitation you leaped in.

"Move kid!" A voice shouted.

"Sorry!" I said as I moved out of the way.

You were confused. This was a rebel base, but you don't know where this was. Try as you might but you got nothing.

"You lost?" A voice asked.

"Yeah I am. Excuse me but where are we..." You trailed off as you came face to face with a tall, young man.

"Wow...hi." you said shyly.

"Hi. Who are you? I'm sure I've never seen you around before." He said quite sternly.

You got nervous, how can you tell them that you basically are from a different time and that you're basically here because a bird led you here.

"Um it's a long story." You said.

He looked at you and noticed you small pack and the lightsaber clipped onto it and he looked back at you curiously.

"Come with me for a bit. I need you to talk to Hera." He spoke.

"Hera? As in General Hera Syndulla?" You said excitedly.

"General? Okay...sure whatever you say." He said shrugging.

As you two walked in silence, you kept looking at him. Something about him felt awfully familiar, it's like you had the answer at the tip of your tongue and you just couldn't figure it out.

"If you stare any harder I might turn to goo." He said teasingly.

"Sorry! It's just that, I don't know your name. I mean you don't know mine either which makes sense, but I'm (Y/N). Not that you were asking but you know, formalities." You said as you felt your face heat up.

"I'm Ezra. You're a jedi." Ezra said with a small smile.

You looked at him starstruck as you just now realized who he was. Ezra Frickin Bridger. Savior of Lothal, king of fake names, hoarder of helmets. The only other Jedi who's alive but his location is a complete mystery. You shook your head and acted normal. You spoke once more trying to hide your sudden excitement.

"A padawan. A very bad one, since I managed to not only ignore my master's order but also managed to lose my way." You muttered to yourself.

"Oh so that's what that little rat tail is for." Ezra said.

"Hey! This rat tail shows I'm an official padawan. My master was just following what the stupid temple said." You defended.

"It looks cute on you though." He added as he opened the door that showed Hera Syndulla herself, sitting down while surrounded by a few others.

"Ezra, I'm in a meeting, what's this about?" Hera said as suddenly all eyes were on you both, all except Hera herself.

"I found a wandering girl in the base and she's a jedi, sorry, she's a padawan." Ezra said.

"A padawan?" Hera said confusedly. She finally turns around and looks at the two of you and out of sheer awkwardness, you raise your arm to wave at everyone. Hera looked at the rest of the people in the room to signal them to exit.

When everyone has left, all except Ezra and Hera, she calls for Zeb and Sabine to join her. You were led to sit in one of the many empty chairs. You looked around fascinated with what you could see. This was the now destroyed Chopper Base or home base of the ghost. Grand Admiral Thrawn follows one of the ships that dock here, then rains fire on this base. This is what intertwines the fates of both Thrawn and Ezra Bridger.

"What did you call us here for Hera?" Sabine's voice rang out.

You have only seen holograms of her in the Lothal museum before the empire ransacked them and destroyed everything. Only bits and pieces of the mural were left behind but she looks exactly like the holograms, perhaps years younger, behind her was Zeb and Chopper, and to say I was fascinated and in awe was an understatement.

"Ezra found a wandering girl in our base who just so happens to be a padawan." Hera said.

"A padawan? Where's your master?" Zeb asked.

"It's a long story." You said quietly.

"We've got time." Sabine said crossing her arms.

I took a deep breath and hoped to the force that they find it in themselves to believe you. You understand it's gonna be a lot to process but it's better to do it sooner rather than later.

"Well, I'm truly a padawan, my master's name is Rey Skywalker. I'm also not from this time. I'm from the far future. Well not that far into the future seeing how in my time Ezra's still alive, around his early fifties and Sabine is still probably alive...I think." You said.

"Okay, you could be making it up though." Ezra said.

"I know that you're in need of more pilots, and Ezra's joining them because he has a bigger role now in the rebellion. I know he's way stronger than he was six months ago, and that there's trouble brewing in Mandalore and Sabine needs to return there." You said confidently.

"That could have been heard by you." Hera rationalized.

"The problem with Mandalore, is nothing new. It was bound to happen." Sabine answered.

"I can't just say something about the future! There are rules to time travel that one mustn't break. There are time paradoxes that could be born just because I exist here." You said.

"So, you could also just say that to avoid us questioning you further." Zeb said, arms crossed.

"There is a spy within the empire, planted by the resistance. The unexpected ally would be an important part of your lives. This base is also bound to be found by a bigger threat." You said.

You walked towards Ezra, keeping eye contact. You whispered your next words to him.

"You're learning to be stronger from the Sith Holocron that you've gotten from Malachor." You looked at him pleadingly.

"She isn't lying. She just told me something that only I knew." Ezra said.

Hera looked at Ezra before she nodded her head. Sabine looked confused but couldn't care less and Zeb felt confused but let it slide.

"Well, the kid's lost. She should probably get some time to get used to this time period." Zeb spoke.

"Ezra, you should train with her. She said she's a padawan, so she's probably used to training the same way Kanan was training you." Sabine added.

"It'll also help you not be a little shit anymore to others." Sabine added jokingly.

"You're also much closer in age it seems so you have the honor of leading her around these places. If you don't mind as well, would you be willing to help out our cause while you're here?" Hera asked kindly.

"Oh sure. I'm fine with that." You said.

"Great, well welcome to the rebellion, um. What's your name again?" Hera inquired.

"My name's (Y/N) (Y/L/N), nice to meet all of you." You answered.

"Well for formalities sake, I'm Hera, That's Zeb and Sabine." She said as she gestured to them who were standing by the door.

"And of course you've met Ezra. Kanan is busy as of right now, but you might bump into him from time to time." She added.

You nodded your head as she gestured for all of you to leave. Zeb and Sabine parted ways, Sabine going off to do her own thing, while Zeb went to train new recruits. Ezra gestured for you to follow him and so you did.

"So you know about the holocron." He said.

"I do. Don't worry I won't tell anyone, not because I agree with you using it but because you have to learn your lesson first hand." You reasoned.

"Oh and what lesson would I learn?" Ezra asked teasingly.

"To not mess with forces unknown to you." You whispered.

"You seem to know what it's like to use a sith Holocron though." Ezra pointed out.

"It's a long story. A painful one as well." You said stiffly.

Ezra grabbed your hand and brought you to a secluded area and patted the spot beside him as he sat down.

"I've got time. It's not like Kanan is training me anytime soon again." He said with his eyes closed.

You took a deep breath, clearing your mind. It's not like the memory was a distant one. After all, the fall of the empire, of Palpatine, was only a year ago. Your escape from the empire was only seven months ago.

"When I was a child living in Naboo, my parents were part of the few remaining empire loyalists. I never shared their views as a child. Often getting into fights with them. When my force sensitivity manifested, I didn't know it then that they called for General Hux. They told him about my abilities in the force and when he arrived, he took me with him. I begged and cried for my parents to save me but all they said was that the knights of Ren would be a suitable place for me. To show me the beauty of the dark side of the force. I was only ten years old." You retold your painful memories. You felt your nails dig into your palm to ground you as you continued.

"By the time I was fifteen, I was one of the strongest among the other force sensitive children they took. Kylo Ren would watch as we train, he would pick and choose who would fight him for the day, to test our limits. When we weren't training they'd make us touch the sith Holocron, a lot of the others succumbed to their desires to be stronger, to know everything and they were given the title Knight of Ren. I didn't so, I got a bunch of the others like me to run away when my now master arrived to escape the starkiller base. I was the only one who successfully escaped as the others were killed by the loyalists. I only escaped because I had to kill them too." You said, voice filled with regret.

"I'm sorry." Ezra said as he reached for your tightly closed fist.

"I surrendered to the resistance, I expected to be imprisoned but Poe took a different path. He told me that I was just a child, that it wasn't my fault. I followed Rey, my master when she found the person Kylo Ren was searching for. The rest was history. I can't fully tell you the details as it would cause problems...probably." you finished.

"Yeah that's alright. I hope you know that even with that, I still need to use the Holocron. I need answers and-" Ezra spoke but you cut him off.

"As I said. I'm not here to change what happened. But if you really want to continue, test out your skills on me. I still have years of training from the sith on me. I'm still learning how to do defense more than offense, so maybe you could teach me that." You offered.

"Plus, this is part of your journey. Taking it away from you might fully change who you are." You added.

"That makes sense. So, you ended up here because you were clumsy enough to get your feet stuck in a hole?" Ezra said trying to light up the mood.

"Really, that's your ice breaker? I'm quite sad with that. You could do better." You said smiling softly.

"Hey it's better than, your rat tail looks so long, can I pull it? Would you rather I say that then?" He joked.

"This rat tail is a staple for padawans. Wait, if you're a padawan, why don't you have one?" You asked

"Because I don't need it." Ezra answered smugly.

Weeks passed with you stuck in this time. Hera and the rest of the ghost crew tried fitting, finding the location of ahch-to to perhaps lead you home but have come up with nothing. Ezra has trained with you, though you see that the Holocron affects him, somehow you can also see that he is not one to be easily swayed to the dark side.

"You're distracted." Ezra said as he pushed you back using the force.

"Sorry, I just, miss home." You said as you dodged another of his attacks, dropping yourself lower and using your saber to attack him from below, to which he dodges gracefully.

"Focus on your surroundings and use it to your advantage Ezra." You critiqued

As you two trained, your sabers clashing against each other. Yellow and green clash, sending sparks to fly. Ezra proved to be stronger as he managed to disarm you, his saber pointing close to your face.

"I win. We still need to work on how you defend yourself. You have way too many openings, your stance when defending yourself is weak. Here grab your saber." He said handing it to you.

He stood behind you, kicking your leg to tell you to widen them. He then checked your stance before kicking your right leg again to tell you to widen it a bit more.

"You have to widen your stance, to have balance, it makes sending you falling when you deflect another saber difficult. And raise your arms a bit higher to protect your face more." Ezra said guiding you from behind.

He was kind to you, though he had moments where the dark side seemed to call out to him, he never lashed out on you. His kindness and willingness to protect his friends, his family, was something that you wished someone had for you. It was no wonder why you easily fell for his charms. He was also funny. Though your master told you that she believed that love wasn't the problem in being a Jedi, but the selfish kind of love. You learned not to shy away from your feelings. You knew that you were meant to return to your time sooner or later, so you chose to keep your feelings locked up. Ezra has his life here.

"what's it like in the future anyways, after the whole schtick with the second coming of the empire?" He asked one night.

"It's peaceful. The people don't feel worried about fighting to survive anymore. Most of the people in the resistance can finally go home. The remaining empire loyalists were put to trial and sent to prison. They can choose to join a rehabilitation program, or they stay where they deserve." You said.

"I have a question." Ezra said.

"I might have an answer." You joked.

"What if you stay here? With us, with me." Ezra said, his gaze stuck on you.

"You know I can't. This isn't my time." You said softly.

"But it can be. We fit well together. I won't be alone as a Jedi, Kanan's back with us, so he can train us better." Ezra tried to rationalize with you.

"We can be something more than this!" He exclaimed.

"And what is this? We're friends aren't we?" You asked.

"Friends don't look at each other the way we do, and they don't sleep in each other's beds." He said.

"I like you and I know you do too. So stay here." Ezra pleaded.

"I can't. I'm sorry." You said.

"You didn't deny your feelings." He pointed out.

"I don't want to. But it's selfish of me to be with you when I have no intentions of staying here." You said.

Ezra avoided you after that, going on mission after mission. While you joined Zeb to find clues to where Ahch-to was, and though it took a while, you finally found it. The cantina that would one day belong to Maz Kanata was where you found its location. Supplied to you by a pirate that Zeb was in contact with. You related this news to the rest of the ghost upon your arrival and though the rest were happy, Ezra could only stare sadly.

You packed what you originally had, leaving behind the clothes given to you, but took small mementos that they had given you. You were busy packing your things that you didn't notice Ezra enter your room.

"You're leaving soon." Ezra said monotonously.

"Yeah, I am." You said avoiding his eyes.

"I'm sorry about the argument before. It's just that, why would you be led here? Why this time?" Ezra said frustratedly.

"Because I had to learn from you and you needed someone to understand." You said still not looking at him.

"Please look at me (Y/N). I don't want my last memory of you to be this. This distance, it hurts." Ezra said softly.

You faced him, arms still crossed. Your eyes avoiding his. He walked closer to where you stood and held you close. He knew that this was where it ended for you two. Funny how he was shown someone he would have wanted to be with only for them to belong somewhere else.

"I'll miss you." He said, voice muffled by your clothes.

"I'll miss you too. Thanks for being my sparring partner and my friend." You said, eyes closed.

"Thanks for being my friend too. For reasoning with me when I needed it. Thank you for letting me learn on my own terms." He said.

As he let you go, a part of him felt pained. This would be the last time. Seeing you in the future would be much too painful, because he'd be reminded of this moment. So he took a chance, and left a chaste kiss on your lips. It was gone before you fully understood what happened.

Ezra didn't see you off anymore, nor was he part of the crew that dropped you off into the temple. You followed the writings on the wall, when you finally reopened the portal. You don't remember what happened next but as you woke up, you were back in your cabin. You heard the voices of the younglings once more. Then your door opened.

"Rey! She's awake!" Finn called.

Rey alongside Rose, Poe and Chewie, entered your room. Rey smiled softly at you and you couldn't help but burst into tears.

"Hey, hey, you're okay." She said rushing to your side.

"I went to another time. The temple opened a portal and I went in. I met someone and it hurt to leave." You said.

Rey held you close as she looked at the others. Somehow that sudden letter from Ezra felt like a clue but she waited for you to calm down. Once you were she explained what happened, where they saw you and the sudden arrival of a letter addressed to you, from Ezra Bridger himself. She gave you privacy once the letter was in your hands.

You ripped the envelope open once you saw that it really was addressed to you.

Dear (Y/N),

How long has it been? For you perhaps a few minutes? A few days maybe? For me it's been too long. I bet you knew of what I did for Lothal, or my exile, my return, what happened when I returned. I still can't believe you were right about the Chopper base getting destroyed. I missed you all those years. I missed you when I was in Peridea. I missed you during those nights where all I had were my own thoughts. I'm old now, like you said. Why did I hide myself during the war again? Because I knew that if I saw you, even by chance, I wouldn't be able to take it. I already saw you, in the world between worlds. I now know that in that time, I saw what would've happened to you, and if it weren't for Ahsoka's logical reasoning, I would have done something stupid, like jump in to save you.

Life went on even though we were apart but I believed that what you taught me the most, was selfless love. I was selfishly asking you to stay and leave it all behind when your life has barely begun. Mine was already preordained. Though I know that at this point I'm older than you now by many many years. I hope you know that the feelings I felt for you, were my source of light. Thank you for those few weeks. Live your life.

It truly was bittersweet. To meet the right person in the wrong time. But everything, every moment was one you will cherish and Ezra's right. Life goes on and so will you. Perhaps one day, time will be right for you two.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

35, currently, and only 1 is for a fandom other than The Lego Movie lmao

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

496,195 over the course of 6 years

3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

1- Reboot To be honest, I'm kind of baffled by this one. I started it just when covid was really starting to take off, lost where I was going with it before I was even halfway through writing it because I got SO swamped with work that writing was taken off the stove entirely for a while, and a lot of it was honestly just half-assed to get it finished but so many people LOVE it. I don't think I'll ever stop scratching my head about it, but at this point I've just accepted that it's my most popular fic ever. 2- Atonement Still ongoing and without a clear ending in mind yet. I had 2 ideas I was wanting to play with when I started it- wingfic, and house arrest. I've been having fun with it so far. 3- Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure This one was actually written based on a friend's doodles & half-finished ideas. I took them & ran with them as far as I could lol. I'm honestly happy that this one's in my top 5. 4- Hot Spring Another one that I'm kind of baffled by. It's a oneshot that's barely over 400 words. People like their coppernauts fluff, I guess lol 5- Time Travel Troubles This one was based on a prompt a friend gave me when I complained that I wanted so badly to write but had 0 ideas, lol. Of all my oneshots, I'm glad this one made it into my top 5.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Most of the time! Sometimes I can't think of a response though, and once I got overwhelmed with like 25 comments on one fic in one night from the same person so my brain kind of short-circuited lol. I definitely read and cherish every single one though.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don't really do angst tbh, so none of my fics really have angsty endings.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

That's a tough one to pick, I always write happy endings. XD; I guess I'll go with Starting Over Again.

7. Do you write crossovers?

Sort of; honestly I think they'd qualify more as AUs than proper crossovers, but sometimes I just get bit by a bug to write all my favorite characters in some other media settings for shits & giggles. Murphy's Law (Skyrim), Space Shenanigans (Star Wars), The Stranger (Myst), Octan Nights (1001/Arabian Nights), and Hollow Heart (Beauty and the Beast)

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yeah, when I first started posting Murphy's Law on ff.net. Honestly it just made me laugh, it was so obviously some kid doing a shit job of being a troll.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I tried once. It was SO awful that I ended up deleting it and swore off ever trying again.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope. The fandom I'm in is pretty small so no one's bothered to translate any fics in it, at least as far as I know.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Oh, eons ago when I was still just a little baby birb. I wrote a pitiful attempt at an OoT fic with 2 of my cousins that never got far. All my works since have been solo.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Lord I have SO MANY. Think I'd pick Tech Support though (with a much better rewrite to boot, so no link for this one. If you want to read the atrocious original, you'll have to hunt it down yourself :P).

15. What are your writing strengths?

I'm told I'm pretty good with characterization. I'll choose to believe it. ;3

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Describing literally anything. I am terrible for just... not doing it. Which is something I REALLY need to work on if I really want to reach my 300k goal with The Umiran Amulet.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

There's only one language I can speak in any capacity, so I just stick with English. If it's something that's meant to be in another language, I just italicize it. Only every once in a blue moon will I use a word in another language, like if a character is swearing in their native tongue, and only if I'm absolutely 100% certain it's the right word.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Ocarina of Time. It was the fic I mentioned earlier that I wrote with my 2 cousins.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I don't really have any, at least at this time. I am very, VERY slow to move between fandoms & ships and am probably still going to be quite happily writing for TLM even when there's literally only 5 of us left lol.

20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I'd have to say The Atlantis Expedition, which was my first ever fic for the TLM fandom, and the first one I'd ever finished period. I have others that I love just as much, but this one will always have a special place in my heart.
