You didn’t normally listen when either the Queen or Sevika told you to do something, you liked to see the way their muscles would hunch at the realisation, or the way their eyebrows would draw in slightly. It was fun, and it always ended up with you satisfied one way or the other by the end of the night.
Yet, you were glad you listened today, the tension between your small circle was palpable. You felt it, it made your muscles tense, and your teeth grind. You didn’t give yourself the luxury at ogling at either women’s outfits. You only caught a glimpse of Angeliki’s golden and black suit and the intricate flower patterns on the bronze metal of Sevika’s uniform.
Angeliki drew her shoulders in when your husband approached your table, bowing deeply and dutifully to Angeliki; at that sight: Sevika straightened up, her hand tight around the hilt of her sword. You smiled lightly at him, forcing away the habit of squirming away from him when he leaned in for a performative, polite kiss on the cheek. He wouldn’t dare do anything more in Angeliki’s presence, or Sevika’s for that matter.
Your husband didn’t take a seat until Angeliki gestured toward the chair with a simple gaze toward it. Though the music was playing softly from the corner of the ballroom, it was quiet, you could hear the lazy, calm breathing of the Queen, and the pitiable, panicking breathing of your husband. Sevika shuffled behind you, a slight clearing of her throat as the bronze metal of her uniform clinked against each other. Quiet. Dead silence.
Your husband laughed, the sound rushed and garbled as he swallowed thickly, he waved down a waiter, his smile widening as the waiter closed in on their table, dutifully placing glasses of chilled water in front of each of them. You flickered your eyes to it, it was lemon water, judging by some curled rind sunk at the bottom and a lemon wedge hugging the lip of the glass. “U- ch-chilled lemon water, Your Majesty.”
You were right, but you raised a subtle eyebrow at your husband. He was acting skittish, his eyes kept darting to the glass and back up at Angeliki, he was barely sitting in his seat, his chest pressed so close to the table, you could see the tablecloth sag under his weight.
Angeliki’s gaze was as piercing as ever; the icy circles of her eyes trailing lazily across your husband’s form. She reaches for the glass, her fingers wrapping around it and lifting it slowly to her mouth. Angeliki hums, her stony orbs rising to meet the man across her, blinking once, twice before placing the glass back on the table.
Angeliki arose from her seat, her suit crinkling before she uses her large hands to smooth down the silk velvet fabric. “Follow me.” Angeliki didn’t wait for an answer, or a refusal as she steps down from the table, her large form stalking to the exit of the ballroom. Your husband’s eyes widened slightly, but he scrambled to his full height, smoothing down his own suit before rushing down the steps to follow Angeliki. Sevika followed closely behind, her bulky form closing in on your husband from behind. You stood up as well, your glossed lips slightly apart as you rushed after them. What was going on?
You caught up to them after a few moments, it would have been quicker if not for the sheer weight of your dress. You stood by the doorframe, feeling your body jolt at the chilly night air. You saw Angeliki shrug off her suit jacket; your breath hitching at the way her muscles rolled as she handed the jacket to Sevika. Sevika wasted no moment to douse you in it, ensuring it covered your cold chest and arms, before standing stoically by your side. It was quiet here as well, the only rustle of Angeliki’s sleeves rolling up her forearms and the nervous splutter from your husband.
“Men are always stupid,” Angeliki states simply, her large forearms tensing as she sought herself comfortable, her steps were quiet, heavy as they trailed to your husband. “Poison? In my drink? It seems as though you were arrogant as well, considering you thought I would accept a drink from you.” You tensed, a soft gasp falling from your mouth, when Angeliki snapped her hand forward; her thick, burly fingers seizing around the man’s jaw, squeezing tightly until his lips puckered and his cheeks filled out.
Your husband clawed at Angeliki’s hand, trying his hardest to pull her fingers away, but it only made her hold on, shaking his head as if to scold him. You jumped when he cried out, his eyes almost bulging out of his head as he shook and writhed in Angeliki’s grip, before your eyes snapped to Angeliki when a sickening crack echoed through, and a shrill, panicked cry from your husband.
Angeliki merely blinked, her eyes averting to each of his eyes before they fell to his throat, it was starting to get pink, veins protruding from his skin as he struggled. Your husband managed to carve a few scratches into Angeliki’s skin, and soon enough had grasped enough of her forearm to pull her away. You heart thundered and sunk in your chest when your husband lurched his head forward with a determined cry, suddenly finding courage and smiling lopsidedly in triumphant when Angeliki’s head snapped back, a trickle of blood running from her nose and down her lip.
Angeliki sniffed, her lips curling in a snarl before her head knocked forward in retaliation, once, twice; before spitting the red, almost gelatinous blood onto his face, sending a swift, heavy punch to his throat. Your husband cried out, falling back against the grass as he choked on his blood. Angeliki loomed over him, the muscles under her shirt tensing, letting the weight of her shoe and body press into his groin, pressing harder when your husband flinched. “Do not come near me again, lest I pull the skin from your pathetic body and force you to feed on it. Sevika.” Angeliki commanded, standing to her full height and walking toward you.
You swallowed thickly, your eyes wide as they zeroed in on Angeliki, her height allowing her to tower over you. You let your eyes run over Angeliki, over her chest that rose and fell, over the way fabric squeezed along her broad shoulders, the deep, angry scratches on her rough forearm and hand, before your eyes snapped to Sevika. “She will not kill him. Merely warn him. He will do well to leave you alone as well.”
You wished you could see Sevika’s body under her uniform, you wanted to see the way her back rippled as she delivered punches toward your husband, the way her abs would tense. You felt foolish, gaping at the two women; you shouldn’t but you did. There was a tight coil in your lower belly, one that threatened to snap once Sevika rose to her full height, her armour clinking as she panted, before your eyes travelled back to Angeliki; who was already staring at you, before she nodded toward the ballroom, urging you forward.
Of course, you obeyed, especially if you were going to feel the prepotent presence of the women behind you.

Well, I did say this was a multi-fandom blog... Alright, let's do this.
The Qing Jing Peak Lord's Bamboo House
(and the symbolism therein, as recorded in the donghua)
I was snooping through the establishing shots of the Qing Jing Peak Lord's Bamboo House, and had to laugh as I always do at all the gay symbolism that managed to sneak its way inside. But then I looked a little closer, and was floored by just how much passive storytelling was packed into background assets. I talked about it at length over discord, and at the urging of others decided to make a shareable post on social media as well.
First, the shots which first piqued my interest in this topic years ago:

Shen Yuan transmigrates into the stallion-genre webnovel entitled 狂傲仙魔途 (translated as Proud Immortal Demon Way). The author's and his own usernames are dick jokes.
Notice the chrysanthemum vase, the cock vase, and the stallion statuette.
The stallion and cock are obvious nods to these jokes on their own, but for the uninitiated, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of gay sex between men, as the asshole itself is often euphemistically referred to as a chrysanthemum. This should have been Shen Yuan's first clue that not all is as it seems here! These are the personal quarters of Shen Jiu — the original Shen Qingqiu!
But let's move to the main room you first walk into upon entering the bamboo house.

There it is: the writing on the wall.
As the Peak Lord of strategy and the scholarly arts, Shen Qingqiu would naturally have calligraphy and paintings hanging everywhere! So let's break it down.

On the top we have 道㳒自然 ("Dao Follows Nature"), which comes from a Dao teaching by Laozi (founder of Daoism) meaning that life, death, the entire universe, the heavens and earth and everything outside and inbetween, all follow a set of laws referred to as the nature of things. Although unrelated to the Buddhist couplet below, it's certainly relevant!

Originally hanging in right-to-left order, I've arranged them to read left to right here to make things easier to keep track of. The calligraphy reads 西方竹葉千年翠;南海蓮九品香 and is a couplet commonly found in Guanyin temples. My classical chinese is not as strong as I'd like, but this translates roughly to "The bamboo leaves in Paradise are green for a thousand years / The fragrance of lotus flowers in the South China Sea is as thick as 9 sticks of incense."
The character 西 for West is used to denote the destination of enlightenment/purity: the buddhist Paradise (think Journey to the West). The South China Sea is where Guanyin was born. Upon the Lotus flowers is where Guanyin is commonly depicted as sitting. The "9 sticks of incense" though literal can also refer to the 9 tiers/grades of reincarnation lotuses with the 9th tier being the lowest, meant for those who in life committed the most evil of crimes — the 4 parajikas — and who can only manage a sincere Amitabha recitation 10 times and no more than this.
To put this in context with Shen Jiu (the same jiu as in 9/九), the 4 parajikas committed by the 9th Tier Lotuses Reborn (officially entitled the Lowest of the Low) are:
Sexual Intercourse
Stealing
Murder
Claiming attainments of stages of pure mental concentration that have not been achieved (in other words, rushing or lying about your cultivation/enlightenment, or maybe even becoming a Peak Lord without having formed a golden core beforehand).
From what we know in the context of the novel, Shen Jiu is innocent of at least the first of this parajikas, but the overall view of Shen Jiu in the eyes of others in the story is that he is guilty of them all. This calligraphy can be seen as a condemnation or a reminder for the character Shen Jiu, who even as the Peak Lord Shen Qingqiu is widely thought of as a scum villain and the lowest of the low.
Phew! That's a lot to unpack.
But if you turn your gaze to the original screenshot, you'll see to the right that there's a vase painted with a blue bird. This vase appears in several rooms of the bamboo house, and seems to be the image of a qingniao (青鸟; lit: Qing bird, wherein 青 can mean blue/green/clear-but-brackish black).

These qing-coloured birds are messengers and foragers of the Goddess-Mother of Paradise (Xiwang-mu 西王母, the "west/paradise" character from before, lit West-King(unisex)-Mother). They're a highly intelligent species who are exceptional in song (a good representative for Qing Jing's scholarly arts and pursuit of qin!), and the older ones might learn to speak human tongue. As a subspecies of luanniao (鸾鸟 lit: luan bird), they're thought to be related to The Phoenix and indeed thought to be the lifetime/samsara just before being reborn as a Phoenix.
If given to a "master" they don't like, the qingniao may refuse to pass messages or sing until they're set free, but if they do get along with you then they're loyal to the end.
As a point of interest, the Qing generation of Peak Lords uses the character 清, which is 青 ("colour of nature; brackish black, blue, green; young) + the radical for "water," resulting in the meaning of clear (as in water or heart; see-through); distinct; quiet (as in still); just and honest; pure; to settle or clear up; to clean up, expunge, or purge.
And as a bit of trivia, Liu Qingge's sword Cheng Luan 乘鸾 means "to ride the luan, take flight on the back of a luan." (Relevant, because the qingniao is considered a subspecies of luanniao).
With the Lords of both Qing Jing and Bai Zhan referencing this bird, I really wonder about its significance! It's spawning plenty of theories and headcanons for me.
Heading back outside for a moment, you'll find that in the Quiet Pool (清静小池 qingjing xiaochi (yes, the same Qing Jing the peak is named for)), there are lotuses, and on land there are flower shrubs which are either wide-petaled chrysanthemums (gay bottom jokes ahoy), or a type of peony, the king of flowers demarcating wealth and prosperity. Either way, a blossom fitting of our Qing Jing Peak Lord Shen Qingqiu!

My one regret is that I cannot get a clear shot of the fan hanging on the wall to try and translate the calligraphy on it. If anyone can snag one, please tag me! I also couldn't translate the paintings with poems hanging in Shen Qingqiu's bedroom (it's just too small and blurry for my bad eyes to make out). If I make another post attempting these things, I'll append them to this initial post in an edit afterwards.

What is with the Dreamer's Houses? Herrah's Den
Okay, we can all agree that Team Cherry put a LOT of thought into crafting the backgrounds and environments of Hollow Knight. But why is nobody talking about the designs for the Dreamers' houses?! Especially compared with their base forms?  Well, let's start talking about it!
Herrah
This is Herrah's design:

Herrah is massive compared to several creatures we have come across in Hallownest. While her mask and horns give off sharp and spooky vibes, take a look at her bottom half. It is round and supported by many limbs.
In comparison, Hornet is far slimmer than her mother, which can either come from her father's genes, her age, or lack of nutrition. Herrah, however, is matured in both mind and body. Herrah's body is like a woman's body which has gone through a pregnancy: stretched and curvy. I do not mean it in a demeaning way. No, these are Herrah's battle scars that she wears proudly as Hornet's mother.
Do people think about that when they see Herrah? No.
At first, they are put off by Herrah's sharp horns and six eyes. It is a mental aspect of our brains to associate sharpness with threats. But the roundness in character design is often associated with warmth and approachability.  This Beast is the same person who Hornet called "Mama"; the deadly hunter queen who cuddled her baby.
By the time we meet Herrah within the Dream Realm to strike her, we should already know that she is Hornet's mother and be conflicted about killing her. Herrah's design only adds to the drama as we listen to Herrah's last words "For her…for her…"
Herrah is a Seal but also a Mom and a Queen. And most likely the main reason why anyone writes AUs sparing the Dreamers.
But I have written too much about Herrah. Let us check out her den!

The entrance is carefully spun while the door is framed by metal design not seen in Hallownest, implying that the Weavers know both the arts of metalwork and weaving.

After entering the Beast's Den, you are treated to a large hall. It seemed to have served as a dining hall, meeting hall, and war room in the past. Now, it is solely used to "prank" any visitors.
Both pictures, however, are the only ones that visitors see when they come to the Beast's Den. Unless you count the distorted view you get as you try to peer through the silk before you get eaten.  Now, if you are lucky enough to be seen as a visitor and not future food, you will see the Weavers are crafty and capable in many arts: weaving, metalwork, and war.
Now, apply that to Herrah and you should carefully take a few steps away.
This, however, is what is applied to Herrah based on a public area. It is time to enter the Beast's Den proper.
And immediately you start to have claustrophobia.  Webs everywhere…

There is light, but it is very soft and in-between. Your lantern must suffice. But for the Weavers and Herrah, the light from the few lamps is more than enough.
Herrah's Den does not seem to be just for her glory alone, however, as several masks are seen.

IMPORTANT! Neither mask belongs to Herrah! The first mask is too round, like one the few Weavers we find alive in Deepnest, while the other is a Stalking Devout as seen by the hole where the mouth would go.
As for their significance, we are unfortunately left without a guide to tell us anything. But if they were in Herrah's Den with such fine art surrounding them, then Herrah wanted these masks there to honor whoever the masks represent. This detail speaks volumes of how Herrah greatly respects those whom she believes are worthy of honor, even if you must to travel into her den to know of her respect.
As for respect, let us see how the Weavers paid their last respects to Herrah as she laid dreaming to protect them all.

First, the room is the most lit in the whole den due to wide array of candles. Second, the webs are everywhere, but the angles framing the space make it far nicer on the eye (unlike the rest of the den. 😬). Herrah herself is laid perfectly centered, framed by two banners hanging. Even her hands are neatly folded in rest. This is no longer Herrah's home; it is her shrine.
Yet it seems that the Weavers are the ones who highlighted the importance of Herrah. The queen, after all, cared more about her people and daughter than herself. Of all the banners hung, the only markings on them are the six eyes of the Weavers, not just Herrah. It is her people's flag, not Herrah's. 
One last thing to mention before moving on to the other Dreamers, is asking Herrah what in goodness gracious is this?!

As it is deep within Herrah's den and there are more pressing questions in Hollow Knight, I have not seen many attempts to answer it. As such, we have literally no idea except for some insight provided by the Fandom wiki. I quote:
Beast’s Den Shrine

"A room located in the west part of the Beast’s Den contains an unknown being. The file names for the sprites in this room refer to the area as a ‘shrine’. Hitting the being with the Nail produces a metallic sound. Hitting it with Spells makes a seal appear over it. It is unclear if this being is the corpse of an ancient bug or a statue.” Taken from the Hollow Knight wiki: Ancient Civilisation - Hollow Knight Wiki.
If this is true, then we found what Herrah worshiped, or at least what she let her people worship within her den. Whatever this thing, it is not Weaver in origin. The seal used on it does NOT match up with the various Weaver seals of protection we see in the rest of the game. Perhaps the Weavers learn how to make such seals and spells by studying this creature? If so, then it shows how Herrah is willing to learn from others to protect her people.
Willing to learn from anyone but Hallownest.

The bench and elevator are destroyed, specifically the ones from Hallownest as seen in their designs. It is not that Herrah does not like benches, but that she doesn't like Hallownest. See proof below.

The Bench design here fits far better with the Weaver metalwork than the broken bench in the Stag Station. 
Herrah will use Hallownest to benefit her people, but it will always be on her terms.
Even the existence of the Stag Station is to further trade to increase power and influence for the Weavers while lowering the risk to them. Pro-Hallownestian or Pro-Weaver, you must admit that Herrah acts like a queen should, forever serving her people.

After the first night you spent with Sana, you started doing things like that casually. Whether it was sneaking around the office or showing up to her place, you always found a way to hook up. You walk over to her desk, sitting down in a chair as you unwrap the present-like box. "What the hell" You mutter as you go to open the box, there's a necklace in it but something about it is familiar. "Is this.." You gasp then put your hand over your mouth as you look at Sana "You got it fixed? I.. how? The part was one of a kind.." You glance back at the clasp, it looks brand new.
"I had some connections and you seemed really bummed about it, so I took it and I wanted to surprise you but then.." Sana suddenly feels uneasy about finishing the sentence. Your eyes begin to well up with tears as you gently pick up the necklace from the box.
Then she starts her apology "I'm really sorry about everything.. If it makes you feel any better I didn't actually fuck her- well I used to before we made things official but not after that! I swear you just walked in at a really bad time and she kissed me and I didn't push her away immediately but I promise we wouldn't have done anything else.. I was just being dumb"
She stumbles over her words in an attempt to make things better, to at least gain your forgiveness if not your trust. You can't bring yourself to even push her off of you, on the contrary you actually pull her closer. It takes a while, but she pulls away from the hug and you already miss it. "Sana.. I, I need time to think about everything"
You stand up, and put the box with the necklace in it on the table "Wait, at least take the necklace. It's yours"
Figuring there was no harm in it, you take the necklace and with that you walk out of the door.
To keep things short, it's probably the worst decision you've ever made.

I saw this company that sells like Bluetooth vibrating air drums or whatever you want to call them, and it’s so obvious what their purpose is that it makes me really sad. We went from drum kits to those black/deadened practice kits for practising at home, to eventually having people in rented accommodation being so worried about noise complaints and/or losing their place of living that they’ve had to create drum-less drums. 100% the reason for this is not wanting to get evicted. Living in matchbox houses with paper thin walls of cheap and in-no-way soundproof material, packed so close you’re a stone’s throw from your neighbours, you’ve silenced the drumkit entirely.
Is it any surprise then that people aren’t forming bands? Is it a surprise that artists moved from bands rehearsing in basements and garages in houses, to samples, electronic drumkits, midi, solo ‘bedroom’ stuff, even as we lose more and more rehearsal spaces, and schools stop offering kids musical lessons because they must be inferior to subjects that lead to a job in IT or finance? We lose youth centres, community spaces, musical spaces, and everyone’s world gets a little quieter.
Gentrification. People move into the ‘fun’ parts of town and then file complaints against all the ‘fun’ stuff. Bye bye La Tulipe, they gave a developer a building permit in the fucking downtown culture and entertainment district and now the residents are filing complaints. City councils are so afraid of the word 'rave', they don't know what it means but they think it means 'illicit drugs-taking event' and want to ban any instance of it. The raves move out of the city, to a little space under the national highway, or leave the city entirely.
I wanted to take a walking tour of historically important music sites in London, such as important venues, clubs, studios, the Blitz where the New Romantic kids first congregated for their David Bowie nights, the café where all the musicians including the Beatles would go down to to meet people when they decided the only way to make it in the music industry was to move to London. 3/4 of that tour involved looking for ghosts: empty spaces, corporate offices and residence buildings sitting on the burial grounds of moments of cultural significance. I didn’t do the tour, I don’t think I could bear to look at these places, to try and imagine what they once were and what their neighbours were.
It’s the same with these drums too. I know the makers only want to do good, bless them for that, and I don’t doubt a lot of people will find this a better practice solution than midi because it still sort of has that unquantised feel of a real person hitting sticks— although I suppose if you really think about it, it still is just a midi controller but with a vibrating haptic response. Next you’ll say drums can be done on AR or VR I suppose. It will still make me sad.
It saddens me that we lose so much of the spirit of art and culture to dilution. People trying to make the music quieter so as to not offend the neighbours, even as their spaces get slowly choked out. Writers being unable (/less freely able) to explore darker themes so as to not set the dogs of the ‘problematic writing police’ on them. Artists presenting as less dramatic so as to not appear ‘weird’ to an uninvested audience; TikTok’s obsession with their straitjacketed definition of ‘authenticity’. Making fun of anyone who dares to dress weird, look different, say something new. I see it everywhere. Art gets diluted to become palatable, and in doing so it loses its ability to express itself and say something that needs to be said.
I don’t know. Some could look at it as the weird, twisted, fucked up plant growing through cracks in the pavement, doing what it can to reach the sunlight. Art surviving despite everything, somehow being more poignant and having more important things to say as a result.
But even a 22h candle has an end. We’ve got to do more to protect our artistic spaces and outlets, and the ability to create without fear, or ae risk losing it forever. It takes just one generation to train out habits; we see it with other obsolete things, let’s not let art be one of those.

WTF?! AKA girl that studied Advertising doesn't understand how this happened.
Sooooo, Neil Gaiman, huh?
Disclosure: I started this in the following 2 weeks after the news broke (maybe earlier than that, I don't remember) but, hey, my job sucks and more often than not my brain was just too dead to even try and get back to this. And then even more claims appeared and Vera Wylde (AKA Council of Geeks) made 2 videos that pretty much alligned with my mindset (fun fact: now there are 3 videos now), still I had a few points that I wanted to address... and life got inbetween yet again... and now I'm done, I need to finish this otherwise it'll sit on my drafts for ever.
Fandom's still ablaze, people asking for more info are inmediately labeled as "SA supporters" other alleged claims surfaced and I wonder why none of the companies associated with the author are saying a thing about it... not even him has stepped foward to say anything and that is super odd.
In case you didn't know I've studied Advertising but decided against following a career in it because 1) my classmates work-ethic (or lack of) traumatized me, 2) I never really liked it (I just wanted to live off my Creativity), 3) because after spending 3 years learning every little thing that can make a person tick to buy something I can see certain patterns everywhere and 4) it is far too easy to make anyone believe anything and the idea of doing it and screwing people's lives as a job does not fit my own moral criteria.
That being said, don't you dare to think that this post is taking any kind of side or that I'm trying to push my career because I already gave you those 4 points of why I am not activately working on this field. All of this will be a head-first delve into how those 3 years in College shaped my way of thinking (basically a "no feelings, just bussiness") and trying to have a somewhat broader picture.
I just have a perspective that most of the fandom doesn't have and I wanted to share it.
Just in case, I am not looking foward to whatever conversations could occur from now on and most likely won't interact with any of them if I sense any kind of bad blood.
Full disclousure: even though I am a casual enjoyer of Neil Gaiman's stories I have zero idea of how he is or was back in the day. Everything I say is based off on my observations both in-fandom and from what I can see from my country (Argentina) that is located at World's End quite literally... we don't get much gossip here unless is something BIG.
First off, lets clear some air:
1. Writing about horrible things doesn't mean that someone a bad person. I mean....

(Disclaimer: even if I do find the meme funny... I have 0 knowledge of anime or how this two artists interact with life and their fans).
But in all seriousness... how many crime shows exist/existed and will keep on existing? How many gory horror movies? How many books, comics, operas, musicals and so on that portray horrible crimes? Do all of those authors have a secret life as criminals? I don't think so.
Yes, having an affinity to the subject might give you a better know-how but is not mandatory... writers investigate a lot as well.
Art is meant to be an exploration and more often than not artists will take universal fears and turn them into something good and innocent or take something pure and turn it into a bloody nightmare... is supposed to show another perspective without any predjudice and allow us play with the weirdest and commonly frowned upon things in a safe and contained space.
If you are not an artist, you can still use the art as a conduit for this... but please don't turn into an Inquisitor, you're no better than us I swear.
2. If a person is anti-censorship... is against ANY kind of censorship. You can't pick and choose what should be "good" or "bad" because that is also a form of censorship. Are there disgusting things out there? Yes. Do any of us have the right moral compass to condemn and/or ban something just because? No. (And even if I'm not very well versed in manga I can tell the difference between a work of fiction that has been drawn and actual p*rn that could've been produced by harming someone. Those things are not on the same level. Sick? Yes, but still unreal just like a lot of the NSFW drawings that I've seen in here).
3. The Zionism: many people came after Gaiman accusing him of supporting Israel because of some letter that was signed right after the Hamas' attack. Siding with the civilian victims is always the first reaction even if as a jewish he is supposed to know better the reality of things, this is not mandatory because maybe he doesn't engage in religion or geopolitics that much. Later he did posted on Twitter (according to some) a few links to assist people in Palestine, I know he did shared one or two Instagram stories with this as well and of course, lately posted about a friend that got jailed for protesting against Israel. However many still support the "he is a Zionist" because he -as many others- said that the solution would be for both countries to live at peace. So... it was an easy neutral response trying not to cater to either side whether if it conveys his real sentiment or if he did it to secure his position among his followers or because he didn't wanted to upset someone he might know/work for that thinks different or didn't wanted to get into a polemic bigger than himself is up for debate.
OK Lets put the little grey cells to work
Many claims that started to populate Reddit (mostly) seem to go all the way back to the 90s where stuff like this wasn't talked about mostly because he was just another DC writer and social media + cellphones with camera didn't existed.
I do wonder how did he presented himself back then.
Even if Sandman was a huge success, both comics and mixing them up with greek mythology makes it very niche (niche is an official Advertising word, I swear). So even if DC properties like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and others were very well known and bought... I don't know how many of those readers jumped into Gaiman's Sandman and stick to it (I've even seen people in Tumblr complaining of "Gaiman's atrocity called Sandman") let alone how many thought of him as a genius.
Apparently he did had people showing up in signature events (were conventions a thing back then? I live in the other side of the world and have no idea) and apparently almost like a rock-star he had groupies following him. I am a rocker at heart, we all know about groupies but I really didn't needed to know that the literary kind existed as well, thank you very much.
There are two things I'd like to address here.
First of all that, given the nature of the movement, these girls were throwing themselves at him. It is still wrong to take advantage of it, but as we know men are needy AF so it only takes for one woman to be kind to them and they'll see how to get her to bed. Manly nature 🙄 That being said, considering that these were basically one-night-stands I don't think that he would've gone too far with any of them. Still...
The second point is... WHAT THE HELL WAS DC DOING? Probably many of you think "well, probably they are all perverts" and yeah, you have a point... but still you need to save face. You can't have one of your key writers (?) picking up girls in official events that you organized and take them to bed. Even with its ups and downs on the industry, DC had (and has) a prestige to keep. If we are thinking about late 1989 and early 90s they were riding the crest with Burton's Batman you can't have a scandal like this about to burst! It was just a matter of time till someone picked up on it and did something about it (think of a girl's family, group of friends, partner, what-have-you).
And even if Sandman was too niche it was still making good money for them... the possible movie rights were probably always in talks back then... and you'll risk that just because "men will be men"? WHAT KIND OF BUSSINESS DO YOU CONDUCT? Even if it is the 90's... you don't want to be associated with a sleaze bag. Not to mention that even with all of this he wasn't perceived as a "winner" among men as well... you know the type "oh, look how viril and manly he is... all the girls want him" kinda thing. So just why?
Did the publishers see it coming?
As I said the Reddit claims seem to be from the 90s (or at least from The Time With No Virtual Fingerprints) I've got yet to read anyone saying that he did a pass on them on a recent Comic-Con or book signing. (N: I started to write this before the third and fourth & fifth women came foward. However, the point sort of still stands)
This could be because 1) technology made it almost impossible to keep a secret or 2) because the publishers decided to open the umbrella before it started to rain.
If his reputation was well known it wouldn't surprise me that other companies might've put a clause in their contracts about his behaviour. Even we, working-class ants, have Codes of Conduct and Ethics in our mundane jobs... so OF COURSE this also exist in celebrities' contracts as well.
A publisher would never want to be involved into a scandal let alone a possible sex scandal with an author that doesn't just write "dark fantasies" but children's stories as well. You can't market a sexopath as a"kind and gentle uncle-like figure" that will read stories to your kids. I mean, with the right Ad team you can totally pull it off but it is A LOT EASIER if he just behaves.
Still you can't control a person's actions outside the professional enviroment AKA their personal life, and even if you must have a Ad team in case of any possible disturbance... they will focus more on the Company's Image than the person's.
In this case, Gaiman should have a personal Publicist. And for what I've seen I do think that he has a team but not necesarily a Publicist ready to tackle on a scandal, just a regular one that "gets him out there" and probably throws some ideas for posts and secures the Ads for any convention or media related project.
When you work with a public person you must work as Communitty Manager as well but the real trick is finding the right balance between your posts and your clients'.
The CM's posts will be very basic info for appearences in different events/media or new releases. What people really wants is a sneak-peak on a person's life and unless you are someone that is with them 24/7, it depends on this person's to do those posts (more often than not those who took those candid videos or photos are either friends/family or a super personal and close assitants). We do know that Gaiman has at least one assitant (plus representation for USA and UK, maybe someone else) how ever I have my doubts about him having a Publicist for his persona. Why would I say that?
Neil Gaiman has no socials
The joke has being going on for ages, regardless of how it was born it tells us that it is him who manages his own socials (at least the most "intimate" posts because with the whole Twitter/X/Xitter fiasco he did established that in that network he'll "be present" either by automated posts that depend on other socials or because someone who works for him will post tour dates on his behalf). The easiest one to pin point is Tumblr... nobody cares about Tumblr.
In light of all that has happened one of the most recent asks came to my mind: Someone once asked him if he was in a kink party some years back. Many rushed into explaining the Rules of Kink to the asker, some nicer than others but what stood out for me was... why answering this? Even with a "not really my thing, I left without participating" it was a lot easier to just leave it unanswered. He has stated that even if he had thousands of asks he'll pick a few of the newest ones and answer only if he thought they deserved to be answered. So why shooting yourself on the foot? Especially under the assumption that someone could say a thing or two about it. Like, fair enough whatever happens in there remains there... but if you are in it and you leave the door open with a half-assed answer... people will talk.
No Publicist in the world would've let that fly (not even in a niche site like Tumblr)... our job is to avoid this kind of loose threads that might be spun into something completely out of our control and opposite to the narrative we are aiming to.

This little slip made me realize that he doesn't have a propper Publicist so the chances of them prepping some letter or statement about the situation are very slim. I'll talk about this later.
The Podcast
I can't really move foward without giving some space to Ground Zero.
But as I was writing this, Council of Geeks, (hosted by Vera Wylde, someone I've been following since long before their comming out and more often than not found to be very like-minded) a channel that I was hoping to tackle this, made a very well thought out video that I highly recommend. There are a few things for which I have my own hypotesis and if I remember, I'll write down in here.
Back to the first podcast I must admit that I did not listen to it because I have no time or will to do it (burnout from work is great!) and I am a better reader than a listener (my mind usually drifts off when I listen to anything even if I'm interested in it -doesn't happen with in person conversations, luckily probably because there is a face attached to the voice-). I did read several posts about it and the Rolling Stone article some cite as well. Aside from some personal observations, the core information remains the same reason why I trust that I can actually talk about it.
I will not discredit the testimonies since I have no reason to do so but I can talk about other stuff like how media dehumanizes terrible things and about some things that do cause some noise to me (noise in Advertising is when something disturbs the message and doesn't make it clear).
I know that all of you are moved by both stories regardless of how they were presented but the True Crime genre is sensacionalist AF and it thrives because people is morbid, and that's a fact.
When I had cable mom watched a few True Crime shows every now and then and I've always found them distasteful. The quick editing with effects, dramatic narration like "When Margaret woke up that morning, she could've never imagined that all her nightmares would come true" *cue to dramatic music* is very f#cked up. These are real cases, with real people involved, with people suffering for their loved ones... but for the networks is just entertainement, hours and hours to fill in their schedule + ad revenue. How many cases were actually solved after being on TV/a podcast? How many more people started to plead for justice after it was aired? These kind of shows are empty and milk on someone's suffering for a few bucks, it is never about justice, is never about exposing something/someone. Is all about money.
And for what I can see... this podcast is no different than others. Even the title "Master: The Neil Gaiman Allegations" is some Fifty shades of Grey sh!t that sounds attractive but considering the content it is in very poor taste to say the least.
When people (and I include myself) ask for a more serious take on the subject is because of this... we need information that is not meant to be consumed while eating popcorn and soda with a few breaks to clutch pearls and then move on with our lives.
If this was the only media outlet that opened the doors to both women they should've done better. It is a serious matter... a special report, lets say a 2 hr youtube video captioned "The True face of Gaiman" or "Gaiman's dark side" (or being 100% honest and title it "Gaiman's victims speak") would've erased any kind of doubt among ocassional listeners but no... they named it "Master" because it conveys BSDM, sex and trivializes the story to make it sound like erotica, not a real story. This wasn't an accident or a bad idea caused by inexperience... the name was chosen on purpose. They needed to get people's attention and get them on this "dark" and "taboo" world where this kind of practices (BSDM) is frowned upon. They wanted to predispose you to start this on the wrong foot.
But the stories are real! Don't try to silence the victims!
I'm not denying this, I'm just saying that Tortoise Media's Podcast doesn't care about the victims as much as you all seem to think.
They saw that Gaiman was involved so they picked up the story because they wanted clout, other media outlets (so far) passed on it because is a he said/she said case that is very hard to prove, reason why the police itself alledgedly decided not to move foward with it either. Does it suck? Yes. Does it mean that Tortoise is brave for bringing it up? No, they could've been... had they not give up to the need of making a freakshow out of it to get people's attention.
And like that Advertising trained me to be a Devil's Advocate.
The easiest way for me to show you how any Publicist out there would get things going to save his reputation is by using the tools that could (or eventually will) be used. So let us begin.
Missing context: Aside from the whole issue with the power dinamics (that we'll talk about it later) we don't really know how any of their first meetings really went. We know that it was the first day of work for the nanny... but was it really the first time they've met? If she was around Palmer, most likely they've seen each other before, maybe they've talked and hit it off... we don't know. Same with the first fan, they were writing each other for a year, we don't know what they ever talked about or how their relationship evolved. And this is aplicable in all cases. We were told the story from the first moment he became physical, not the real first contact. What does it matter? He's still a perv! Yeah, until context can tell you that he isn't... I've seen so many takes that all the sudden turned him into a scary monster lurking in the dark, preying on young little innocent girls... and never before he was ever addressed like that even by people that probably knew about his reputation or just plainly hated him for whatever reason. This is all made up by the narrative shown in the podcast (I mean the editing and narration) and the masses' imagination.
He stops when rejected: Three claims say that he stopped at the moment the woman/girl said no: the fan at the bus (even with his "I can get whatever I want" or whatever he said he did let her go when easily could've forced himself on her), the publisher that got kissed (or almost kissed) and the first fan coming foward that rejected his suggestion of a threesome... that one, yes is the same one with the UTI. I wouldn't be surprised if he convinced her that he would be careful or something like that just to get her on bed. It is very shitty and selfish of him... there is no justification there. Whether this stems from self-preservation (not wanting to be known as a r*pist) or because he does care about consent or maybe because he wasn't *that* horny those times and could let it go... the truth is that he did stopped when asked to.
Mental health. The whole "she's unstable, her memory isn't the best" kind of comment came out of his lawyer (the one that the podcast keeps on mentioning as "Gaiman's side" and probably they knew from the begining what lawyer it was but delivered his name a lot later to shock audiences once more that he has the same lawyer that many other men in the same position hired. As if a lawyer's reputation couldn't grant him a good starting point to get new clients whether they are innocent or not) so it is a case of a lawyer being a lawyer. But yes, people tend to remember things differently, ask any family memeber or friend about something that caused a major shock on you and you'll see that they might not even rememeber it at all, and if they do, probably they'll say that you overreacted or something like that. It sucks, but it happens. There is a possibility that what was perceived as an innocent flirting by Gaiman is also something more sinister by any of those women. Maybe the years changed the light of the events and something that they considerated "ok" back then is a "well... actually" now. People change. One thing I did wanted to bring up was the su!cide comment. It is poorly placed in the conversation (or in the part of the conversation we were allowed to see, again: lots of missing context) and does sound heavily manipulative... until you realize that he has spoken about his su!cidal past any time he got asked in Tumblr, interviews or other... and if he's willing to speak about it with a bunch of strangers online, he has spoken about it with people close to him and if she was going through it he most definetly brought up his experiences to talk to her. Still, we don't really know, maybe is a 50/50 situation. His Autism: I'm not a psycologyst, can't confirm or deny if he has it or not, but as a human (and a Publicist) I can say that is the lamest and worst excuse he could've possible thrown. Is just as bad as anyone excuses their behaviour based on their zodiac sign. Maybe he does struggle to notice tones of voice or intentions behind interactions but acting on those fake cues is a lot more related to being a man than autistic. Man think that if a woman is nice to him is because she loves him, man take the first chance to make a move just because she smiled at him. Let's not mix things up.
The Power Imbalance + Age Gap Let's address the Age Gap first because there isn't much to it either way. I was the kind of girl that would be repulsed at age gaps but eventually I realized that, as long as they are consenting adults and there are real feelings behind it... I don't care. I do feel nauseated when a 20 year old dates or marries a 80 year old "sugar daddy" because I can't conceive in my head the idea of a person wilingly turning themselves into a blow-up doll for a mummy only because the later is richer than God. It is disgusting and I do not endorse it. Any other case... ok, whatever, live and let live. The Power Imbalance is another story. You can't date someone you work with or work for. Every single company has this rule not just to avoid dramas but also to avoid any misbehaviour in the premises. But what about when is not for a private company, like in this case? It is still a no, because the "if you don't make me happy I'll kick you out" ghost shows up creating a hostile enviroment for at least one of you... what kind of relationship can arise from it? (to be fair, some people maybe gets turned on by it, what do I know? I'm aroace). My suspicious mind... I see a pattern in Gaiman's behaviour aside from the one everyone made up in their minds (him preying on any girl close to him, even though two are around his age): The "cool" writer: from his break-out to somewhere into 2010 or so. His "groupie prime" if you will when he could get any girl that was interested in him (students, fans) because possibly considered himself some sort of idol and/or rockstar. This is between his 26 and 50 years old, that check's out, is when men usually think themselves to be the center of the world and the sole desire of any women. The "I need to fly low": in the last 20 years or so, when he already stablished a respectful reputation among peers and fans so he needs to stop sleeping around and be more selective and secretive about his partners because it only takes one tweet, one photo or one video to destroy everything he is. Enter NDAs. I dare to say that being with women from his inner circle (AKA people that either worked for him or some way or another depended on him) was another "brilliant idea" he had to try and keep his image and reputation out of harms way. Still one question remains... what kind of people could he date? Just those on his same circle/league? You could argue that Palmer was some-where there but I don't think that she has as many fans as him and she's nowhere as well known. Maybe other popular author (if any of them fancies him)? An actress? another singer? a politician? Options are quite narrow so he would go to the "commoners" and then, by mere chance, he'll be the all-powerful bestselling author dating a poor woman and some will see a power imbalanced relationship and to others yet another Cinderella story.
Just as The Tortoise Media took the stories, edited them and packed them for your shock and horror... it can be just as easily spun into something else. Anyone could get any of this points I've made and turn him into a misunderstood man looking for a love that would be into BSDM as he is and, unfortunally for him, some of his lovers realized too late that they didn't liked it so now he's seen as an ogre when he did nothing wrong.

What could possibly happen
Am I reaching the end of this essay today (November 29th, 2024)? Are those angels singing? Please, tell them that I'm Agnostic, but I appreaciate the gesture. (Laurita on December 25th says: Oh! what a lie!)
At this point in time, Gaiman shows no proof of life, and most likely won't for another couple of months (maybe even for another year). His silence is not necessarily an admission of guilt. If he comes foward and gives his side of the story, he'll be the rich-white-author throwing crap at all these women and calling them liars, so he'll be a villain. If he admits that he has a problem (sex-addict or something like that) some people might be a little more simpathetic others will call him a liar and he'll still be a villain. There is no good outcome so, what's the difference? Is better just to remain silent.
We already know that Good Omens has been shortened to a special episode, Sandman was shot and will be released sometime in 2025 (most likely won't have another season not just because of Gaiman but because it was a struggle to secure the 2nd season for starters. The only way we could have a S3 is if the S2 is AMAZING and blows up all the numbers). The Anansi Boys... remains to be seen, supposedly it was shot, edited and is ready to be released so it is a matter of whether Amazon will pull a Warner Bros Vs Batgirl (just scrap the whole thing) or if they will pressure Gaiman to step foward and speak... but I don't think so because they didn't do it for Good Omens which, for what I can see, is a far more beloved franchise that needed to secure its fanbase so S3 wouldn't be a failure.
He did said a few times that he was writing a book, so maybe that's why it was a lot easier to stay away from social media... the thing is... will it be published?
I dare to believe that he is back in social media, doesn't interact but is watching, Hell, maybe he even has a fake account to test the waters! There was a rumour of him hiring a PR team to have bots and alter Google search and bury the accusations... I'd say it is a possibility but I had a client that bought bots and those are not as effective as you may think. They help boost views and such but they easily fade away. Maybe he did felt like throwing money to the garbage, who knows? Maybe it wasn't Gaiman himself but any of his "bosses" (publishers, networks) because it does feel more like a corporate move than a personal one.
The most sensible thing would be to go to Justice, present evidence and then let not just the Court but the Public make a decision (that could or not be aligned). The main issue with it is that many will see it as Gaiman trying to bring down a group of women instead of showing his side of the story, what will keep on adding ink to the stain. Is tricky but is the only way to have a sense of what could've possibly happened (because, of course, the only ones that know 100% what really happened are the parties involved and even that is not a reliable source given that everyone has their own version of the story based in their own feelings, predjudices and emotional baggage altogether).
My personal take
If you are still reading and haven't burst out of anger and left a thousand "k!ll yourself" or "typical mysoginist" or "defendor of SA" comments and/or reblogs, you are probably wondering "ok, I can see your point but what do you believe?"
I'm not surprised... nor heart broken.
Granted I was never a huge fan, just in the last couple of years I started to enjoy the adaptations of his stories more... but still, he doesn't have a huge impact in me. No author or creator has ever had it and I love plenty of artists.
There's something on the way I was raised, I believe, that turned out in me never putting people on pedestals. They are all human and there will always be something that will let you down on them. Most of the musicians and/or actors I love had drug issues, got into fights (some very stupid ones, others not so much), groupies everywhere, off comments that maybe should've never been made, opinions I do not share... I still follow them because sometimes they mature and realize their mistakes and do make a stand about it. And if they don't I can go "yeah, cool thing... but still this other thing still sucks" because I was taught that you can criticize something/someone you like, it is not a sin to do so.
I know that a lot of you think that absolutely all the stories he came up with were deacoys to have free access to girls... but... really? Whether you like his writing or not, he is capable of coming up with good premises mixing up diferent cultural myths and original ideas. The books are well plotted and thought out (nothing is 100% perfect, but that's how things are). Had you tell me that his books are obvious cash-grabs than can be written in less than a month with the premise "Plot? what Plot? this is just smut" I would've believed you. Any of us that loves writing (either original stories or fanfic) know how hard it is to create something half-way decent. Yes, some care about their audience and even go like "ho ho ho they will love that" but others just write because it is fun. Others do a mix of both. Looking at Gaiman's works, I hardly think that his main goal was to attract "goth girls" as someone said. What was the point of writing kids' books then? Get goth moms in the mix too or not losing his female fans just because they have kids now? Also many straight men like his writting too... is it collateral damage?
To me he is just a writer that in the worst case scenario has a dark side (note: not the BSDM part but the way he treats some women). As many others before him and as many others will in the future.
I hope that he does come foward and start to talk about it. But it has to be an honest interview, or better yet a press conference. Not something that anyone could've scripted and rehearse over and over again. People needs to see him either squirm, turn red, be uncomfortable to decide if he is being honest or not.
If it is all true, he has to be responsible for his actions. Undergo a program or something, show signals that he is sorry and is (honestly) trying to improve. Then and only then he can aspire to go back to where things were before all of this.
Even if he's done cameos everywhere, he's not an actor and nobody can fake for so long. I believe that the causes he supported did meant something for him. Many celebrities don't ever take a stand for anything and still have their fans and the money keeps on pouring in... nobody was forcing him into doing any of those campaigns and he had nothing to earn that he didn't already had (his fans would love him a little bit more, but they were already loving him anyway).
Rowling vs Gaiman (This is the end, I swear)
A lot of so called "feminists" are spewing their conspiracy theory of how everyone was dog-pilling Rowling "for just stating the thruth" while many are trying to save Gaiman "even if he's a r@pist".
Presumption of innocence first comes to mind, not to mention that many people saw Gaiman as like-minded, down to earth, good writer. Rowling was thought of as such until she didn't stopped and even doubled down on her irrational hate, amplified voices, donated money and fully supported (and still supports) a train of thought that is causing more damage than good. She could've just been an ideology-blinded author going "trans women aren't women" and called the day... she would've been just another author with a dark side that distresseses some people. But no, she is pretty much the face of a movement that puts people's safety and lives in danger.
The damage an entire movement can do to other group of people has no comparison to what damage a single man can cause in private.
I'm not saying that Gaiman's victims aren't worth a dime... I'm saying that if you care about people for real it doesn't matter if is one, twenty, a thousand or even a million, you have to care for all of them too... and yes, if you are of the religious type you must love and protect even to those that are not like you or share your views.
There's a witch hunt in this site (or at least there was one last time I checked) where if you had in your profile either the rainbow flag, or said that you were trans, your pronuns or anything that would identify you as LGBTQ+ and you were trying to make sense of everything that was going on, trying to figure out how to move foward and even trying to see a larger picture... a screenshot was taken and then posted elsewhere saying "look how the perverts protect themselves" and this blogs were 99.9% of the times RADFEMS.
In "the real world" the one that is away from Tumblr and any social media: Gaiman lost. Big time. It's done, there's nothing left to do.
Rowling is still being published and her properties are still being adapted and comercialized, the park's still thriving and all the merchandise they sell as well. There is no signal of cancelling going on outside of this site. And WB didn't let her go as quickly as they did with Johnny Depp, or Ezra Miller or Neil Gaiman now.
She still has her life, she goes to events, she gives interviews, she still can write and sell a book quite well.
She's not "suffering misogynistic attacks" from a rabid group of "wokes". She's perfectly fine in her castle enjoying her money as she has stated before.
Most likely Gaiman can also live the rest of his days off the money he's got so far. He could disappear forever to a small island in the middle of nowhere and that would be it, aside from the alledged damage he's caused (and he'd be careful not to be caught again, if he has a working brain) his power ends there.
Hers continues.
She is more of an active threat than he is.

🍦: Name three good things about a character you hate
After more emotional question, let's go to the hated characters! There really isn't much characters I hate, more like dislike, aren't my favorite or are just so forgettable to me.
For this one I think I will pick Midori from yttd. As I dislike him very much, but also I think he is a great character so it is easier for me to appreciate him. IT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
He is a great villainous Floor Master. In yttd we have a lot of those, but not all are so bad (in my opinion of course). Midori is a mence, but that's what is awesome about him. I love he is created to be like that — a rat of horrors. I love his "true form" and by saying that I mean his reval of being a dummy (and the trick with hand was fun in my opinion). I think he is great at being creepy and being everywhere. When he was Sou Hiyori I believe he had to be good at acting or, at least, making things work with how much he was present in all of our casts lives. I admire him for being able to pull it off. Like, go off girly pop, I guess? I can't think of anything more so that's the end of Midori appreciation post.

And the last question!!! It is a really interesting one.
I think the most fics I stopped reading because the level of ooc-ness was toooo high. Like, the mischaracterization was so unreal it made me cringe. I am all for artistic freedom, I myself make some characters a little ooc sometimes, but when I see some people make characters so unbelievable that they just becoming an OC with the same name (or even not if it is a genderswap).
I don't like when something isn't in the tags. I don't like some kinks and reading them recoil me physically — I don't kinkshame, people can like whatever they want, I like some but dislike others. Usually, I can filter everything I don't like and I don't feel like reading. Whatever if it is a sexual stuff or something different. But it really irks me when something isn't tagged and then is in the middle of the fic. Sometimes, I don't mind, I pull through, but sometimes it destroys the fun I had.
If I had to tell what makes me to click away from the fic before I even start it, it is definitely the formating, grammar and style of writing. It is really subjective, but all of this question is so whatever. What I mean by all that is. Everything is written in lowercase (I just really dislike it in fanfiction, you can write like that everywhere else — blogs, chats, random notes — but it is really discouraging me to read a normal work). Grammar is really important to me and was learning English so much in school. It is really not fun to read all the mistakes. It usually isn't a big deal for me if it is not all the time, I just roll my eyes. Bad style is bad for me when I see that the person is really inexperienced. AND IT ISN'T A BAD THING IN ITSELF!!! We all have to start somewhere, try ourselves and see what other people think and if they have some advice. It is a different thing if all of those things are put together and it is just really unenjoyable reading time. Some maybe can do it and then say some constructive criticism, but I usually just click off.

Fanfiction & Criticism
I’m not sure if this is going to blow up or if anyone will even see it, but this is my first post tackling a topic that definitely needs some discussion. 
I know this topic has a bit of a negative angle, which might rub some people the wrong way—and hey, I get it. I’m not here to judge anyone. I’m just going to share some facts and opinions, and I want to start with respect and end with respect, too. 
Because, let’s be honest, when you dive into something objectively, it’s tough not to let a bit of personal perspective slip through—unless you’re writing an academic essay!  So if I come across as amused at any point, it’s not about judging anyone; it’s just me reacting to the absurdity of the topic itself (all my subjective take, of course). 
Anyway, the first topic I’m diving into is...
Fanfics.
FANFICTIONS—just hearing that word gives me goosebumps. I’ve been reading fics for a long time; they’ve been with me through every stage of my life. It’s wild how they became a part of my existence, especially during those lonely teenage years when I dove deep into that world. Honestly, I never want to leave it, because I truly believe fanfiction holds a hidden power—a power that not everyone recognizes, but it’s there, right between the lines. This hidden power is remarkable, and that’s why I see fanfiction as a unique art form. It’s where someone pours their entire essence, their feelings, and emotions into a narrative we don’t usually get to hear from people.
Fanfiction creates an incredible universe that expands on another one, letting us see different perspectives, plot twists, and character developments. It’s like stepping into a life we crave, seeing everything we yearn for. I won’t get too deep here, but you know what I mean. I’m talking to those who understand the magic of reading a fanfic—exploring a world you wish so desperately to be a part of, finding hope in those pages to dream, explore, and experience so much more.
I want to share that I’ve been around since the early days. I remember when fanfiction.net came online back in, what was it, 1998? Maybe 2001? After some years, that’s where I started discovering fics. Then I moved on to AO3, Quotav, Tumblr, and FictionPress. I never really got into Wattpad much, though, because when Gen Z started discovering it—no disrespect to them—their mentality and writing style just didn’t fit with mine. You know, the whole cringey trope of the shy girl falling for the bad boy? That wasn’t really a thing in the early 2000s, (not entirely). 
No shade to the writers of those fics; I’m just saying there’s good, and then there’s better.
Honestly, I think I’ve read more fanfics than actual books—probably three to four hundred of them. My parents used to "ground" me for the amount of time I spent consuming content on those sites. So yeah, I’ve had my share of experiences in this world. 
But the main reason for this topic is about one PARTICULAR fanfic in a SPECIFIC fandom. 
When I say “this fanfic,” I mean one that’s insanely well-known and famous within that fandom for a particular ship. Which, by the way, is NOT canon, so keep that in mind.
This fic is everywhere. 
If you look up that particular ship, or if you’re into reading about it, you’ll find it. It has a massive amount of fan art, audiobooks, even some AI content. People treat it like it’s a published book because they think it’s so amazing—which, hey, that’s their opinion, not mine. 
And the reactions? Nothing but positive. 
People call it heartbreaking and dark. Sure, it’s dark, but I wouldn’t really say it’s heartbreaking. That’s just their feeling, and the “darkness” is part of the author’s intent.
People are constantly saying they cried, that they felt numb after reading it, that they couldn’t think about any other fic or anything else for a while. 
I’ve read this fic six times, seriously—word for word—and... I just didn’t have that reaction. 
I’m not judging anyone; I’m just emphasizing the impact this fic has over its fandom. I’m not going to name the fic or the fandom (which, by the way, is super toxic yet somehow comforting, since I grew up with it). But out of respect, I won’t dive into that or analyze it. I’m just here to highlight the issues in it, in the fandom, and in some people within it.
So, the other HUGE part of this topic is focusing on—well, actually, it’s hard to focus on that one part because it’s tied into the fic. So I’m going to bring up some personal issues I have with it (and I think others might, too). But the main topic here is: 
CRITICISM. 
Yes, that’s the word; that’s the topic—Fanfictions and Criticism.
Recently, I had the pleasure of reading an article called “On Fanfiction, Fandom, and Why Criticism is Healthy” by Stitch. Here’s a bit of the introduction to give you a general idea of what I’m about to discuss (what follows is the article’s perspective, summarized—my own thoughts will come later).
On January 15th, Twitter user @Benedict_RS sparked major backlash with a lengthy thread about fanfiction. “It’s incredibly bleak how many contemporary aspiring writers cut their teeth on fanfiction, a form that actively teaches you to write worse,” they wrote. 
Clearly, this clearly struck a nerve—it now has over 8,000 quote retweets and hundreds of comments, sparking passionate defenses of fanfic and fandom from various outlets and writers.
While Benedict’s thread was obviously meant to provoke discourse and drama, the argument itself wasn’t new or groundbreaking. What proved most interesting were the responses. Most people who reacted did so in defense of the fanfiction they wrote or read—stories that actually helped them improve as writers or even led to becoming published authors. Many also argued that fanfiction was simply “just for fun,” and that criticism didn’t need to be part of the equation at all.
So here we are—there’s fanfiction and there’s criticism. Criticism is, by definition, the analysis and judgment of a literary or artistic work, while fanfiction refers to stories written about TV, film, or book characters by their fans—people who admire them. For example, fanfiction is booming on websites where amateur writers continue their favorite stories. 
Okay, this is an issue, though; it’s intricate and should be detailed bit by bit.
Fanfiction can evoke powerful emotions in readers because, let me tell you, people can get so passionate about these stories they read and write—like it’s their whole life. And I get it; it’s a powerful world. Some fics have this incredible ability to hit you right in the gut and leave you feeling all kinds of things, like joy or heartbreak or just pure numbness. Then you have folks who are out here crying about a particular fic, saying it changed their whole perspective on writing and life, which is intense—and I respect that. But then you have the flip side, where some people argue that fanfiction isn’t real writingand that it teaches bad habits, sparking a whole debate. Because let’s be real: everyone has their own opinions and experiences with it.
So let’s dive into this whole idea about fanfiction and criticism, because there’s this ongoing belief in fandom that if something is beloved, it shouldn’t be critiqued—as if loving something means you have to accept all of it without question. And that’s a bit, unfortunately, just wrong. 
I know, I know—it’s fanfiction, I know it shouldn’t be criticized, but there’s a reason why sometimes it must be, not just that it should be. And the article claims that’s just not how art works. There’s this space where we can absolutely enjoy fanfiction while also acknowledging that some stories have serious issues, and those issues deserve to be talked about.
Yes, I’m talking about THAT particular fanfic that has THAT serious issue, that particular theme that deserves to be discussed because fandom isn’t just about fun and escapism. This brings us to critical thinking, which is insanely crucial to our lives—literally in every aspect. Because honestly, if you grew up with fics and you want to move to books, you’ll see a whole lot of different worlds, different writing styles, different plots. So you actually need that power of critical thinking when reading fics. It’s also a community where critical thinking can flourish, and honestly, it should, because when we ignore the problematic elements in our favorite fics—and guys, seriously, this is the reality—there are fics that are harmful, and there are fics that are unharmful. And the fics that are harmful are harmful for a reason.
When we ignore the problematic elements in fanfics, we’re letting harmful ideologies slip by unchecked, and that’s where things get really problematic. Let’s be clear: it’s not about censorship or trying to ruin someone’s enjoyment of a story; it’s about fostering a space where all voices can be heard, and that includes the voices pointing out that certain themes can perpetuate bigotry or reinforce harmful stereotypes. When fans just shrug off transmisogyny, ableism, or, even worse, rape, as just part of the narrative, it becomes this dangerous cycle where these issues get normalized and accepted as part of the fandom culture. 
And that’s not okay, because saying “don’t like, don’t read” or “your kink is not my kink” is a way to deflect responsibility from engaging with the content meaningfully.
So while I totally get the impulse to protect what you love, there’s also this responsibility to engage thoughtfully with the stories we’re creating and sharing. And that means recognizing when a fanfic crosses a line or promotes harmful ideas, because at the end of the day, we can love fanfiction and still demand better from it and from ourselves as a community. It’s about striking that balance between enjoyment and accountability because both can coexist, and that’s a powerful space to be in as a fan and a writer.
So, let’s consider what Chelsea Steiner points out in her essay for The Mary Sue, where she says, “LET PEOPLE LIKE THE THINGS THEY LIKE.” She writes, “I would like to propose something radical in 2021: LET PEOPLE LIKE THE THINGS THEY LIKE. Unless those things are nazism or animal cruelty or a violent insurrection to overthrow the government...” And honestly, I’m not sure why she didn’t mention rape or the romanticization of it or normalizing it. But the point here is that people should be free to enjoy what they like without guilt or judgment. Steiner goes on to say, “I can’t stand gory horror films, but I don’t begrudge those who do. Let people live their damn lives.”
But here’s the twist—what if you enjoy critical analysis and don’t want to be labeled a “hater”? 
What if you want to engage deeply with the media you consume, recognizing its flaws without it meaning you hate it? 
This is where the conversation really gets interesting. If I’m critical of a problematic pairing, a popular idol group, or even fandom dynamics in general, it doesn’t mean I’m coming from a place of hate. It just means I’m trying to navigate the complexities of what it means to be a fan and to create in a space that can be both joyful and troubling.
And that’s the crux of the issue, isn’t it? There’s this underlying belief that you can’t critique something you love without being seen as a hater. But that’s a false dichotomy because engaging critically actually allows for growth, improvement, and accountability within the community. When we let the notion that love means silence dominate our discussions, we’re doing a disservice to the very art we cherish. It’s entirely possible to love fanfiction while also demanding better from it. And that’s what makes the community vibrant and rich—when we’re willing to dive into those messy conversations and not just brush aside the problematic aspects as if they don’t exist.
In 2021, it seems like criticism is just not in vogue anymore. No one really wants to engage with it, no matter who’s saying it or how it’s delivered. Sure, it doesn’t exactly provide that instant serotonin hit we crave in our online interactions, but that doesn’t mean it’s not vital to the conversation we’re having as fans and creators. 
The phrase “let people enjoy things” has become this sort of shield people raise to deflect even the gentlest critiques about everything from politics to pop culture to that certain British author who claims she’s being “canceled” for her outright bigoted views while really she’s just not facing any real consequences.
It’s baffling how this mindset permeates through stan culture, where any critical opinion about a beloved artist or anything related to them is met with hostility. A slight critique of Taylor Swift’s Folkloreor a thoughtful discussion about the instances of antiblackness within certain fandoms can spark outrage and even threats of violence from stans who feel their love is under attack.
But, it’s not just stan Twitter where criticism is treated like some sort of taboo.
In many fandoms where fanfiction thrives, criticism of fictional relationships or the troubling aspects of certain narratives gets equated with a sort of anti-fandom sentiment or even censorship—like it’s the Hays Code of old shaping what can be written and read. That’s such a harmful mindset because it stifles growth and accountability within the community. If we can’t talk about the problematic themes or harmful narratives that exist in fanworks, we’re doing ourselves a disservice as creators and fans. That silence allows those issues to persist unchallenged, and that’s just not conducive to a healthy fandom.
I get it: we’re all wired to take criticism of the things we love personally. It feels like an attack on our very identity when someone points out flaws in the stories or artists we hold dear. If someone calls out a Korean artist for cultural appropriation, fans often feel like they’re being labeled as racist by association. Similarly, when someone critiques a celebrity’s past actions, their fans often think they’re being insulted as well. But good criticism isn’t personal, even when it’s directed at a person or a work; it’s about recognizing the complexities of what we consume and how it affects us and the communities we’re part of. Fans need to understand that we have the power to choose how to respond to critiques—whether that’s engaging thoughtfully or just dismissing them out of hand. Every conversation about the art we love should be allowed to include critique alongside the joy we find in it, and that’s what makes fandom such a rich and dynamic space to inhabit.
Within fandom, critical analysis often gets lumped under this umbrella term called meta, which is basically fans writing non-fiction about any aspect of fandom, fanworks, or the source material. But here’s the thing I’ve noticed: a lot of folks will refer to any criticism of fandom, especially when it touches on issues like racism in fanworks, as censorship and even liken it to book burning. That’s just not accurate because criticism is not censorship; it’s a necessary part of dialogue that allows us to explore the very issues that might be holding us back from fully enjoying what we love.
When the article’s writer discusses topics like cultural appropriation and the ways Blackness is commodified in Korean pop music, they’re not coming from a place of hatred or negativity but rather from a deep disappointment about how their culture can sometimes feel like it’s being reduced to a mere costume for others to wear. It’s frustrating and disheartening, and what many fans are doing when they critique platforms like Archive of Our Own for not removing blatantly racist fanworks isn’t an attempt to shut down the space; it’s an effort to push for deeper reflection about what we’ve accepted as “okay” within our fandom communities. Engaging with these issues doesn’t mean we’re trying to tear fandom apart; it means we’re hoping to make it stronger and more inclusive.
You don’t have to engage with bad faith criticism of the things you love because that can be draining and unproductive. But taking a closer look at what you read or create is such a healthy practice; it encourages growth and helps us understand the nuances of the art we consume and create. That kind of thoughtful engagement doesn’t just elevate individual works; it elevates the entire community and fosters a more welcoming and understanding environment for everyone involved.

It often reduces a horrific act to mere background noise for a hero’s arc, framing it as something that either turns a character into a villain or positions them as a savior when they intervene to “rescue” the victim.
That’s not just an irresponsible portrayal; it’s a dangerous narrative that perpetuates harmful tropes about violence and gender dynamics.
By allowing these narratives to exist unchallenged, we risk normalizing harmful attitudes towards consent, trauma, and victimhood. It’s vital that we engage critically with these themes, pushing for more thoughtful storytelling that respects the complexities of these experiences rather than reducing them to mere plot points. The male antagonist, meanwhile, is often depicted as misunderstood or even forced into his villainy, as if his actions are justifiable because of his tragic backstory. This kind of portrayal does a serious disservice to both characters and readers alike.

It’s a dangerous trap, one that romanticizes suffering and paints a skewed picture of what relationships should look like. The idea that pain and trauma can somehow equate to love is not just misleading; it’s harmful. 
And it’s sad to realize that so many people are consuming this media without recognizing the implications, believing that it’s normal or even cute when, in reality, it’s anything but.
This manipulation by media feeds into a larger culture that often glorifies unhealthy dynamics, leading readers to overlook the flaws in these stories and prop up narratives that should be critiqued instead of celebrated. It’s disheartening to see how these works can escape scrutiny while more thoughtful, engaging narratives that tackle similar themes in a more responsible manner often go unnoticed or unappreciated. That’s a shame because those stories—ones that challenge harmful tropes and explore the complexities of love and trauma—deserve to be highlighted and celebrated rather than overshadowed by narratives that prioritize sensationalism over sensitivity.

This phenomenon is especially disheartening for fans who have invested time and emotion into these characters, only to encounter fanfics that seem to disregard their established personalities, values, and motivations entirely. It can feel like a betrayal when a character you adore is portrayed in a way that’s completely out of line with who they are in the original narrative, and this can be a human disgrace, particularly when the character’s essence is compromised for the sake of a plot twist or sensationalism.
The impact of this alteration goes beyond personal disappointment; it risks damaging the character’s canon reputation and creating a skewed perception of them among readers who might encounter these fanfics without any prior knowledge of the source material. This is particularly concerning when these fics gain traction and accumulate thousands of hits, leading new fans to mistakenly believe that these interpretations are valid representations of the characters when, in reality, they are far removed from what was originally intended by the creators. It fosters a distorted understanding of the character and their story, making it harder for fans to engage with the original material without being influenced by these out-of-canon portrayals.
Objectively speaking, fanfiction is often seen as a space for creativity and exploration, allowing writers to take liberties with characters and plotlines in ways that may not be possible within the constraints of canon. But this doesn’t mean that all interpretations should disregard the core of what makes a character who they are. In fact, incorporating canonical elements into fanfiction can make stories more engaging and relatable for readers, as it allows them to connect with the characters they already know and love while also exploring new scenarios and relationships. It creates a sense of familiarity that enhances the storytelling experience and provides a richer context for the narrative.
When fanfic writers choose to honor the essence of a character while adding new dimensions or scenarios, it can lead to compelling stories that resonate with both long-time fans and newcomers alike. Someone said, “Think of a fanfic like a friend bringing you a pie; they made it out of love and for free. Publicly saying that you didn’t like the pie is poor etiquette. Same with fanfic; it’s all done out of love.” 
Now, I’m not judging—everyone’s entitled to their perspective on fanfiction—but that was a really terrible analogy. 😂
It’s like saying if your friend brings you a pie that’s burnt and tastes like cardboard and shit, you should just smile and nod because they made it with love.

We’re talking about a dessert that could seriously ruin your day and maybe even your trust in their baking skills, lol.
So why should fanfiction be any different? If someone hands you a story filled with harmful tropes or problematic portrayals, you absolutely have the right to say, “Hey, this pie needs some work!”
If we don’t offer that honest feedback, how will they ever improve and stop serving up these metaphorical burnt pies of storytelling? 
It’s kind of absurd to think we should accept everything with a smile just because it’s made out of love. Love doesn’t magically erase the fact that the pie is inedible or that the fanfic is damaging. Honestly, it’s a disservice to both the writer and the readers to just gloss over the flaws. We’re all here trying to enjoy the deliciousness of good stories, not choking down a slice of someone’s misguided attempts at creativity. So sure, fanfic can be a labor of love, but it doesn’t mean we should just eat whatever they throw at us without comment, because that’s how we end up with stories that glorify harmful behaviors or misrepresent characters we love.
So let’s just picture it: you take a bite of that burnt pie, and it’s all crunchy and sad. You’re thinking about how this friend might really need some baking lessons. Instead of pretending to enjoy it, you’re like, “Hey friend, I appreciate the effort, but maybe next time try not to set the oven to incinerate, because that’s not going to win you any baking contests.” 
And really, that’s the same energy we need to bring to fanfiction. 
If someone serves up a story that’s full of problematic elements, we should be able to give constructive criticism, not just for their sake but for all the readers who might stumble upon that pie and think it’s the best thing since sliced bread.
It’s about nurturing growth and improvement because, ultimately, the goal is to create better stories and make the fandom a more enjoyable place. 
So let’s not just eat the burnt pie in silence; let’s offer some suggestions so that next time we’re treated to a delicious slice of storytelling that doesn’t leave a bad taste in our mouths. That’s the only way we can ensure that the art of fanfiction evolves and flourishes, and we all end up with something that’s truly worth celebrating instead of just another questionable dessert disaster.
In the end: if we’re going to keep munching on the endless buffet of fanfiction, we might as well sharpen our forks and dig in with some honest feedback. Nobody wants to end up choking on a slice of burnt pie or a cringe-worthy plot twist. Who knows? Maybe with a little constructive criticism, we can help our favorite writers whip up some five-star stories instead of serving up those "burnt pies". 😂
Because in the world of fanfic, it’s all about finding that sweet spot between love and honest reviews, so let’s keep our storytelling standards on point.

After privating all of my posts here (I am never deleting anything, not completely, that is), I have chanced upon the capital C graphic design Community here on Tumblr, which I have instantly joined to built rapport and connection with other graphic designers and graphic design students here on Tumblr (at least with the ones who are also interested in building together and in public, lol).

And since I have said before that I want to do weekly round‑ups to look at what I was doing the last seven days, this post doubles (or triples?) as that, as a fauxrst post (false first post, I like those), as well as creating something (a)new.
The last week I was building an’ changing a few things on my website, drawing inspiration from all sorts of people, all sorts of places, all sorts of nets.
I have added a couple of new pages to my WordPress‑based website, and moved around navigational links.
There is of course the page with the design links to websites and podcasts you can use in your RSS feed readers of choice, provided you do a little bit of digging (if you need some help with that, you can write me any way you like, and we’ll look into it together)

I have a page for friends now (currently made up of my teachers, tutors, and professors, mostly), a page for what I am doing now, called Now (which is a really cool idea, and it fits neatly between the very thin substance of a status post, and a long form post like this one, both in size, as well as now‑ness; you can find out more about that here: https://nownownow.com/about)

But what I think is the most important addition to my website, is the page about tools, “Werkzeuge” in German.

Here I could finally dump all of my graphic design hacker tools, at least that is how I think of them.
My system consists of two pillars: new information, and how it is being stored. I believe that everyone rolls their own tools after a while. I would just love it if somebody would find some use for mine, if only to build something better from that.
The two RSS feeds linked to from the footer are neat: you have the usual feed for the whole site, but I also provided an RSS feed of my custom status updates, which you can see on Home.

These status updates are my own, most recent solution to my issues with posting, well, status updates on my socials:

am I posting the same status update to every net I have an account for,
will I automate and schedule the same content everywhere and be a boring, cold machine, and
do I want to burn myself out coming up thesaurus’d variants of the same post for every net?
So now there are two ways to check (three, really) in what mess I’ve gotten myself into recently: you can check my Now page, you can look at my Statuses, or you can check it out using your own, third way.
As for my study schedule, I am glad that summer is over, because I clearly cannot function during summer. I hope with cooler days ahead, I can keep a cooler head while practicing the art of not judging what I do or don’t do. I might have gotten my degree, but I want to learn so much more.
Started reading Creative Code by John Maeda and sort of forensically/archeologically recreating the years during which it was written and printed, because these past twenty years have basically muddied the tracks quite a bit, so to speak. It is a good read.
And I think I have covered the whole week now, broadly enough.
I need to figure out which hashtags should go with this post. I need to look at the top posts for each tag I think could fit, and then consider what being in the top means for each tag I am looking at.

It is about my website, it is about studying, about me being a graphic designer, and about software I use. Also, it is about creative coding, generative art, a book, and that I use WordPress.
So I wonder which tags I will use? I prefer low counts when it comes to hashtags. Five sounds reasonable, nice for chunking, too,

You deserve my support and much more! Lacklustre updating schedule or not, everytime you leave is a very.. compelling and deeply emotional piece of art. I say deeply emotional because when I read it, I feel every emotion that’s written in a very raw and deep way, as if I was actually living it, and so, to be able to even read it and have access to more chapters, is a really big privilege for me.
I think by showing us the present first and then going back to how it all began and showing how y/n and Yen developed their deep bond is pretty amazing, it makes it hurt yes 😂 but also makes it feel real and more intimate bc now we know how truly intricate and deep their feelings are for each other and how much weight their past together has on the events that are occurring in the present and will happen in the future.
I can also tell you love writing for it, idk how to explain it really, but you can see it’s written with passion and love and that every little detail matters. So actually, thank you for creating such an amazing story and I will always look forward to any chapters you put out! 🖤💛 I’m glad my little ask made you feel happy also 😊
(I agree abt Henry… the Witcher is just not the same without him. I have considered replaying the games just so I can maybeeee forget that Henry is not in the show anymore and hopefully ease into Liam a bit better 😂)
oh wow, love, i'm incredibly touched that you feel that way about it!! and that you consider it a piece of art. it's hard to try and see it from your perspective sometimes when i'm so deeply involved with it from a writer's point of view and can't read the chapters with a fresh mind, so hearing you say that actually filled me with joy and motivation.
and thank you so much for saying that! it means i accomplished what i intended to do. i always prefer to write with a heavy layer of emotion clouding my characters. emotions drive us, fuel our fears and define our actions. whether they're morally grey or relatable, it will help reach a level of understanding and hopefully help connect with the story. having to watch the characters battle both inwardly and outwardly before getting whatever their heart desires is just so much more satisfying.
going back to the past felt like a bit of a gamble at first. i was afraid i would confuse or lose some readers who probably desperately wanted to read what would happen at sodden instead, but now that i'm in the middle of writing those early days with yennefer, i realise it was the best decision i could have made. it will explain why they held off on their feelings and so much more. there are many subtle ways i can show their bond slowly forming, or how and why certain beliefs and insecurities will keep resurfacing simply because they were so intricately woven within them. by writing their story from the beginning, i feel like i've started to understand it even better. i don't think i could've properly taken the story forward the same way if i hadn't made that decision.
oh, i absolutely adore writing it. it slithered into my mind years ago during christmas break and it hasn't left me since. i never write anything just for the clicks or interactions, but especially not this one. i just had to write it all down, whether i would later on post it or not. i have notes upon notes everywhere and whenever an idea pops up while i read the books or play the game, i scribble it down. i still don't know how i can find clarity in the chaos (no pun intended). you can always come and talk to me about the story in my dms or asks, please don't hold back. i'd love to hear your thoughts and see if you've caught certain easter eggs, double meanings, symbolisms or foreshadowings (the flower on tissaia's desk is a nod to the bond she'll have with yen and y/n, for example). and as a writer, it's always interesting to see how certain things have landed with readers!
i feel like to a lot of people, me included, henry felt like the essence of the series, the glue holding it together. i get why people are frustrated he's no longer in it, and that the adaption has been absolute shit as well, but i honestly love the world of the witcher too much to not cling to every new bit of media they give us (and i really want to support the other actors). my story is a mix of the series and the book and will at one point stop following canon, since yen doesn't have her arc with geralt or ciri in this. i write yennefer with all of the different versions we've seen of her in mind, so i hope she doesn't feel too ooc for people who've only watched the series, played the game or read the book. but since this story doesn't exist in canon, we also don't have anything to compare her possible actions and reactions to with the things that will happen in everytime you leave, so i think i'll be fine 😊
